Center location Rooms must be ready much before 2 pm.
Attention and concern of staff is excellent, especially Anna breakfast hostess in Amba room. Serving staff uneven although Nadia v nice and accommodating too. Hotel overwhelmed by the world travel convention, on all fronts that kind of capacity is hard for the whole 'factory' that is the hotel to function. Eelevators slow, rooms seem tired, and what seemed appropriate three years ago now seems tired and yes, a little rundown.

Well we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Mayfair and the staff could do more for us. We come back to our room to find a complimentary bottle of bubbly and chocolates, such a great supprize for both myself and the wife. Would we stay again definitely 100%.
Excellent staff. Very helpful concierge. A hopping, "in" place.
the position of the hotel and not much else not much other than some of the staff. Having stayed at the Helmsley Park Lane I just could not compare the two establishments,
very friendly staff, great bar and good food
Nice room, excellent service, quality casino.
Excellent location, nice hotel, but not top rate. Room service breakfast was a bit poor considering price, small details missing for a hi calibre place.
Location. deluxe room spacious and well appointed. Too noisy. impossible to sleep well.
The Hotel was well located and the rooms were modern with all amenities.
Everything Being in a smoking floor
My daughter and I were greeted like we were royalty. Everybody is friendly, efficient and professional. The Ritz is gorgeous and always clean. The servers are very proper and the food was fabulous. I would highly recommend The Ritz, because you will certainly not be disappointed.
Location and service was good Problem with the room it was very small, offered improved room after two days
Perfect location. Central to everything but on a quiet side street. Excellent staff and very comfortable room. Big comfy bed, plenty of fluffy towels. American Bar very overpriced
very nice room and comfortable need a cofe station in room
Excellent old school luxury with modern flourishes. For some the slightly stiff air might prove uncomfortable.
The welcome from the staff was excellent - friendly and helpful. The quality of the rooms was exactly what we expected. The hotel has the feel of luxury from a bygone era.
Service , service and more caring, friendly service! From the moment I stepped out of the taxi on arrival until I left the hotel everyone addressed me by name with a cheery greeting. VERY comfortable and quiet room with far above average amenities, linens and furnishings. Excellent bar and public areas. I was sorry to leave but I shall be back as this is my new favorite London hotel. BRAVO to General Manager Spencer Yeo . Executive Concierge Frank Laino, Edward and everyone at the front desk plus all the doormen who ran for cabs ( in the rain!) so I didn't have to. I say "Well done" ! No complaints
Service is fantastic
great service. high standards. helpful concierges. great location. very English.
Staff was very helpful. Rooms and hallways in need of paint and new carpet. Room was very small. Dining is in need of rejuvenation.
Some excellent staff. Breakfast on day 2 took too long - but quality 100%
Lovely re-decoration. Failure to have cab ordered on the morning of my departure; I had to wait for one. I think the bar prices are unrealistically high!!
Good hotel, conveniently located with a certain charm. Excellent concierge and reception staff let down by very poor F & B staff. The service at breakfast was almost of Fawlty Towers standards and there was an unhelpful arrogance to the staff in the American Bar. Restaurant and bar staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location for the West End, shops and entertainment, location location, location, fabulous bar Small room, no view and very tight bathroom, and expensive
The relaxing but professional atmosphere. The rooms were extremely comfortable and well designed. There wasn't anything we did not like during our stay.
The position, just behind the Ritz Hotel, makes all the West End area accessible at walking distance. One issue: the hotel asked 6 authorisations to my credit card, for a total amount in excess of the finally due one. These were not real payments, but eroded plafond available for me. If the plafond were low, I would be left without money available on the credit card. I asked the hotel management about the 6 authorizations and why in excess, receiving confused or no explanations. Whatsmore, this behaviour was not anticipated in any part of their website or documentation. In the end I could not even pay with a different credit card. Fortunately they charged the correct amount. The room was not as comfortable as one could expect from a 5 star "just refurbished" hotel in a "superior room": 1) the room door was very thin, not enough isolating from the noise outside: voices and housekeeping work woke us up more than once. 2) the window glass was not a modern isolating one, but rather a single layer one. As it was a freezing season, the room itself was not properly isolated from the cold outside. 3) the bathroom was fitted with an undersized electric heating appliance. As a result the temperature was every time some degrees less then in the bedroom, pretty nasty in the morning.
Really nice location. Beautiful building and rooms. Staff are a pleasure...really excellent. No fitness center on site. Although access to fitness center off-site is free. 10 minute walk. Gigi's fitness center. Smallish rooms.
Service was excellent, concierge and reception very helpful, great breakfast. Rooms a little small but beds enormous and sooooo comfy! Be back soon! Lack of kettle in room was the only small negative.
Excellent location, great design, very good service.
nice hotel the staff are excelent the room is small but very nice but
Free internet access The room are far too small not even for 1 person with two large suitcases.
good location место хорошее, завтраки дорогие! be careful with your credit cards! Once at nigth the menager was trying to charge our card, diferent amount, without our permition! So at nigth we had to go down and find out whats going on? who is plaing with the card ( we have a sms from the banck) so he told us, that he is chaking if we have enogth money! crazy! Будте внимательны с картой, у нас ресепсионист в ночи пытался снять деньги, причем разные суммы, а так как карта требует кода у него не получилось! но нервы потрепали! заблокировали болше чем надо и пытались снять без нашего разрешения!как так не понятно!
location, breakfast, room (small but okay)
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We immediately felt at home. The room was very comfortable (especially the bed).
The location of the hotel was excellent. Walking distance from major attractions, Green Park tube station and bus station. Everything in the hotel room including bed and bad were too large and tall, especially for a short person like me. Would probably be perfect for a person 6 feet tall!
Great location Looks like a five star hotel from the outside but has the rooms and facilities of a regular Sheraton...
the localization of the hotel is very good. to clean the rooms the staff used to make a lot of noise.
convenience to Mayfair
the location the staff and the bar area. the bathrooms were a disgrace, cracked tiles, old fashioned, didnt feel clean and certainly not up to the standard of a 3 star hotel let alone a 5 star.the whole living quarters of the hotel need a referbishment.
Excellant service & friendly staff In places the rooms the room was in need of a redec.
The service was excellent, the room was a good size and the food at the Citrus restuarant was lovely There were limited facilities in the room including bad reception on the old tv, it smelled of smoke despite asking for a non smoking room. The hotel was not aware of my booking when I arrived- which may this sites fault or on the hotel end.
Location is good but cannot be a reason for staying in this terrible hotel. Worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed. Non renovated rooms can even not be rated 1 star. They should not be sold. It is a shame for Sheraton and Starwood to have such a bad hotel in the chain. Staff is trying to do its best but management is non existent. Hotel manager must be fired...
It has to be renovated
convenience to top tourist sights and underground stations
the bed was good yes if you want to stay in a 5 star hotel I would not recommend this hotel the room is to pour and everything is to old
Location, neat room A bit outdated, no free internet access (should be included in price)
great service and excellent location. Allessandro is incredible! Room service was very poor, no phone was answered when the order was incorrect and I needed to go down to speak to reception.
Service is unreal, and location fantastic. The beds were very uncomfortable
Private. Classy. Charge too much for use of their telephone in this day when they should not
I loved the staff and the location. It is cozy and stylish.
The location and the cosy atmosphere the room was really small and the painting of the walls a little shaby
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
quiet & comfortable, good location Room at ground level
The hotel was very nice and warm. The rooms, although small, were very clean and comfortable.
The efficient and personal service surpassed only by the care given to the room and a wonderful cocktail lounge. N/A
Everything, service, beautiful and great location.
Excelent location, good service I was incomodated early in the morning by the noise coming from outside (I stayed on the 2nd floor)
having last stayed there over 30 years ago , it was good to see that nothing much had changed on the ground floor ; the bedroom was very comfortable and we were particularly pleased to be upgraded .
english atmosphere just in the hearth of Mayfair concierge too busy
Great location for access, very clean and in a very safe area with access to convient stores ,subway and shopping. We had booked a smoking room & even confirmed with hotel by phone but were very disappointed to find out none were available yet if we paid a premiumn we could obtain one. We found this very tacky along with the internet charges.
I liked the location, I could walk anywhere I needed to go. The restruant was usefu l didn't like the idea that I would be charged for moving anything in the mini bar.
Very well placed Room too close to the lift and described as deluxe but given standard
they didnt give me deluxe room i booked and there is no benifets for this kind of rooms
This hotel is in a good location and easy access to the Underground. The bed was comfortable and the flat screen TV was nice. The standard double we had was functional. I think most hotel rooms in London are on the small side and this was no different. Short story the room worked and we didn't spend much time there. The hotel room we had was a little "tired". The carpet needed replacing and some of the tiles in the bathroom had been repaired poorly. The furniture was nice quality but pretty worn out. The mini bar had been cleared out of the usual wares and left for personal use which was nice. But the old "sensors" were in the bins where things used to be sold. The internet was out while we were there but they were "working" on it. For the money it was clear we were paying for the location because anywhere else at that price would be a nice hotel.
The Location and the restuarant area Nothing, everything was good
Hotel staff on checkout were argumentative and unhelpful and slow to resolve problem. One lift was permanently out of order and there were no stairs.
Excellent location I booked 3 rooms at the price shown on the website but the hotel in all cases added vat and I had to apply for a refund.
Hotel breafast room and bar lovely, room a bit small. Hotel staff were not good on arival, first time arrived told could not book in as too early, second time arrived asked us to move to another of their hotels to do them a favour! We said no!!!
Closeness to a lot of major tourist attractions. Service charge. I think it is disgusting that I had to pay 78p for someone to remove two bottle tops.
The location in the centre of St.James is excellent. Quiet and understated comfort and luxury.
the location the room is small
Helpful and friendly staff The address was a little misleading as the main entrance was around the corner!
An excellent hotel with very pleasant and professional staff. My only minor complaint would be the lovely fruit served at breakfast was too cold and the hot breakfast was self service and not as nice as if cooked to order.
Is very close to the interesting point of attraction, like Buckingham Palace,National Galleria. It is in central part of the town but you have quiet. Also is very close to shopping area. The breakfast is good. The rooms are too small, also the bed.
good TV no iron in the room
Staff very attentive & helpful. Needed to change room as one allocated initally by reception did not match description on purchase from website.
especially the location
A high quality environment with good decor, friendly and professional staff and the location is very convenient for the West End! I prefer a double bed to two single beds and the TV is a bit small with expensive movies!
Smart, comfortable and cozy
Good hotel in a strategic central part of the city. The 25 pounds breakfast.
Service from front desk staff and concierge staff is excellent! The rooms, while small (and small bed) are comfortable, clean and modern. Good location about a 3 minute walk to the Green Park tube station. Some mildew in shower, nothing major. Double bed a little small for two people. Also not cheap but it's Mayfair.
The staff where really professional The room was rather small, you could not open the wardrobe door and walk round the bed.
Expensive for what it was but that's London I supppose
Location location location Tiny room
Lovely, attentive staff!

i couldn't eat something decent at 11:00pm
Location good Reception nice Room small, very narrow. tv controller hard to get to work Feel of dirty carpet Waiting long on lift
Excellent location. Very nice room decoration. Very good service. Very reasonable food price. I believe that this a very good 4 star London hotel if you consider London hotels' comfort quality and cost as benchmarks. Poor duvet cover. Small wardrobe. Although menu prices are very reasonable, breakfast is quite expensive.
quiet, tidy, clean, quite spacious and convenient to take underground and near many places of interest
It was a central location and the overall standard of the hotel was nice The receptionist ignored us for about 5 minutes, whilst she dealt with other things. Just an acknowledgement that we were waiting would have been nice. The room was very stuffy, with little natural light
Clean Tv picture bad
Dated room, broken bed, broken kettle, broken bath
Room was quiet, staff helpful. Internet connexion was bad
Fabulous hotel. great staff and good location. Non
The main plus hotel-location. Quiet place, close to Hyde Park and at the same time near the bustling shopping streets and restaurants. Excellent service, a small gym, good food. The windows of my room opens onto the roof of neighboring homes, where the noisy air conditioners, saving earplugs. There was a dressing gown, but no slippers.
Staff very helpful and pleasant. Location excellent. The "business centre" was not really one and a big disappointment - only a few computers with no privacy and no printer hookup. My husband was working on his laptop in our room and I was online finding flights etc down in the lobby. I had to sit at the concierge desk in order to have a printout done. Not at all convenient for all concerned with customers arriving in the reception area.
Excellent location for doing business in the Mayfair area and easy walking distance to most major centers Noisy and rude guests not controlled or dealt with by hotel staff
nice modern bathroom . good location . resturants are nearby. very nice area indoor winding corridors are dark, wooden noisy floors, many doors have to be crossed before reaching my room. very small room, barely can move inside.no place to put the suitcase. very poor TV reception and very limited choices of channels
Excellent central position, next to the underground station and "hop on hop off" station; extremely kind stuff; good brekafst
I was only there one night but found all the staff I came into contact with friendly and helpful. No averse comments
Great location, nice staff, great breakfast, good value for money no wifi in the rooms (hello!), very, very small rooms
Location, locatiom. location - you can walk to many points of interest - Piccadilly Circus, Regent St, Buckingham Palace, Bond St, Oxford St etc. Green Park Tube/ bus is a few minutes walk away - with good connections - multiple tube lines - direct to Heathrow Airport and one stop from Victoria. Walk to the theater, local pubs, galleries or museums . The room - very comfortable, great staff In our first room we had difficulty with the electricity but we were moved to a better roomand enjoyed the rest of our 14 day stay.
the fantastic staff
Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
location Bar prices
The location, the breakfast, the service and the staff.
The location is excellent, convenient to tourist attractions and shops.
Superb location, professional attitude, good rate. Room was warm [no A/C], and some how noisy from the surroundings and its location [adjacent to staff room].
The check-in process was a complete shambles. The staff were not helpful at all.
