location to tube bus stops O2 arena .The park at the side hotel in its own grounds.
The high level of customer service and the friendliness of the staff. They were extremely helpful and the hotel was very stylish. I was very impressed.
Staff were excellent, facilities good and rooms very clean and comfortable
central for travel the check-out time of 09.30 is the earliest i have ever known in the world. i stay in aprox 100-150 per year so that takes some doing!!
Very comfortable room with good facilities. Staff were helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. Check out time a bit early at 9.30am
nice staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, free internet
Good location in Greenwich, good breakfast, Longer to walk to O2 stadium than map suggested but easy taxi ride (or bus)
good location for O2 Public areas were cold - central heating was not on.
Room & Staff
Nice staff. Close to DLR station. Our room was very cold and pretty small. Sliding bathroom door doesn't close properly = no privacy. The glass wall separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom was too narrow so the whole room was wet after showers (and not enough towels to dry).
The staff, the interior decorating, the food. NO.
Very clean. Very helpful staff. Curtains did not block enough light
Nice area The English of the staff wasn't the best
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The Internet was the best I have experience. I didn't like the location. It was a little hard to find.
Location, small room, bad neighbourhood.
Breakfast... Bathroom had sketchy mirror stain for 3 nights ...
A great hotel, rooms a good size for London. Staff where all great. loved everything about this hotel, location, staff and proximity to centre of London
Very nice amenities and professional staff. Large rooms and very clean. The location was very inconvenient for those doing business in London. The hotel was near the light rail, but it still took a good half hour to get to the city.
The room was comfortable and very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, lots of choice. Only comment I would have is we would have liked a few more tea bags and milk in the room... we like our cuppa !!
Nice size room very clean with bath and separate shower plus loo in separate area.Nice bar area with helpful attentive staff.Restaurant lloked clean but did not try breakfast. Arrived early to deposit luggage due to attending tennis at the O2 Arena. Was reminded twice check in was not until 2pm even though they have a big storage room we felt we were putting them out.Not enough tea bags for two people in room.Would have liked breakfast inclusive rate.
Try to book the breakfast on line as it will save you money and they will not budge on the higher charge when you arrive
It was good value for reasonable proximity (two miles) to the O2. We were given the executive suite, which was a pleasant bonus. We were given lukewarm coffee at breakfast. There were loose or missing fixtures on the mixer tap in the bathroom washbasin and the toilet roll holder in the separate toilet.
Excellent staff & wonderful restaurant with a variety of foods for all day & night. Food was great! Room very comfortable & interesting design.+
Convenience - next to station, and relatives being visited Price of drinks at bar, and breakfast charge - both very high Toilet separate from bathroom, with no wash hand basin
The staff were welcoming and provided a very good service in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble. We had booked a superior twin room but none were available so we were upgraded to a suite!! No complaints.
There was a waiter (he was a short coloured guy) who was excellent. I would employ him. In fact, I think I might.... The hotel assumed we were having breakfast at 13.95 and put this on out bill. Had we not had a query that necessitated us going to reception, we would have been billed.
Staff very friendly, hotel very clean. Ideal location - very central. Only bad point would be hotel seems to lack atmosphere lacks atmosphere
As in the previous visit last year we found all staff very very helpful, always smiling and cheerful and more than willing to help in any way they could. Full marks for a good, affordable hotel. I just kept running out of sugar and tea in my room - not however very important - no problems for me with anything.
Staff was fun, friendly, and helpful. 2pm checkout was nice, except the fact that I spent the morning listening to construction noise (see complaints). They had construction going on, and they put me in a room right next to it. Literally, there were construction workers working across the hall from me, and all the way down the hall. They should have closed that room, if not that whole floor, instead of being cheap and putting people next to construction zones. A low budget hotel. No iron or ironing board. No closet.
Location near the O2. Comfortable room and bed
Very close to the 02 arena.Staff were polite, comfortable bed and the breakfast was good.
breakfast was delicious
friendly reception staff and hot breakfast having to validate car park ticket every time we went out
no surprises, calm
Rooms modern and clean Excellent Chinese restaurant on site
It's location so close to the O2 The cost, seems a bit steep.
its location to the 02 dome. the lack of staff at breakfast, no cutlery, no plates etc. every time you did manage to find a member of staff to ask for something it took 4/5 minutes to return from the kitchen with it. They would then have to go back for another item required, this made breakfast a real chore.
The location close to the O2 and the staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. We will stay there again next year.
convenience,cleanliness obliging staff
Restaurant next door was delish. Staff were friendly. Rooms were very clean. Bit of a wierd smell in the bedroom for both nights even though we kept the window open the whole time. There was no hairdryer in the bedroom.
Location, quiet, secure car parking, cafe rouge None
The staff were friendly and accomodating changed are room and moved are luggage to new room for us. The first romm smelt very strongly of smoke which we put up with for 1 night with the hope it would leave the room and we were so tierd from travelling straight from work we just wanted to eat and sleep. It was so bad it still smelt the next day. Although the staff agreed to move us with no hesitation we were disappointed that we were put in that room at all. The cleaning staff could not have failed to smell it as it hit you straight away and could have past this on to reception staff so that no one was put in the room until it had cleared. It did spoil the week end
It was central Carpet looked grubby
Disappointed to find I could have booked at the hotel on the day for much less than booking through Booking. Can you please respond to this complaint ?
No fuss, relaxed, comfortable, quite but good location. Beds, despite looking basic, were very comfortable. All staff friendly and helpful. Lack of after hours bar facilities in hotel reception.
Restaurant good with excellent service. Had difficulty with check-in staff because we had been given a double room instead of twin. It took some time for them to find a twin room for us. Bath very small and no grab rails for older guests.
The location. My partner had broken his ankle so we were put on the ground floor as requested. The bathroom was very cold and the water from the shower went everywhere causing the floor to be very slippery and dangerous throughout the whole bathroom. I think there needs to be something done about this as there could have been 2 of us with a broken ankle or worse!!!!!
Location and price Beds hard
good clean handy location, excellent service and great facilities, very good breakfast at a good price
Nice hotel in Greenwich so close to Deptford Bridge and Greenwich DLR and Railway stations. Rooms are very clean and quiet, equipped with a kettle.Near 45-60 minutes by train with 1 change to historical center. Excellent meal.
Location excellent, staff outstanding. Lovely atmosphere. It was a bit difficult getting in and out of the bed.
Room was well appointed Heating of rooms depended on pub below. Very hot. GBP170 per night excessive for a pub. GBP15 for breakfast ridiculous. No laundry facilities.
Staff not professional enough cleaning lady coming at wrong times and coming with children who do not have a place to sit but walk around with their parents
Friendleness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
convenient location they did not change my towel for the 4 days I was there. I had to chase for tea, coffee and milk that should have been in my room.
Nice receptionist, well equipped room, well size. Thanks for a nice stay
We wanted rooms for our family of five and it was cheaper to take one room which this guest house offered than two rooms at other hotels. We chose this for its location rather than anything else but could have stayed for half the price in Sevenoaks where we have stayed before The realisation that a few 'guests' staying were being lodged under the protection of the DSSS did spoil the image of the guest house but I presume this happens alot with hotels with spare rooms!
location close to station and amenities No locks on mens shower room
Quick check in, reasonally priced room, option to change booking on the day of arrival The bathroom lock was loose and kept faling off, there was a very strong smell of weed, lots of noise
Dark, small room with no windows. Disturbed from loud music saturday night till 2 am.
Tea/Coffee and biscuits in room. Friendly staff. Accidentally given key to an unmade room with faulty bathroom light. Actual room basic but comfortable but nowhere to hang clothes. Only continental breakfast available.
Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean nice to have choice of bath/shower.Coffee /tea facilities good None
Clean, friendly, good value. Convenient for o2 arena (short bus ride).Simple breakfast - toast, cereal, tea/coffee, juice, but excellent value for £2.00 in London! No where to hang anything in the room. Only food available nearby in the night was a kebab shop.
leaving it. The pub (it is not really a hotel) has rooms above and to the side. The rooms are extremely basic. the stair rail wobbles, the carpet is rucked up , the wallpaper is peeling, the noise has to be heard to be believed the loud whining noise that we could hear all night
Location Overpriced with staff more interested in their coffee than their customer, also not great at spoken english.Silly deposit system for keys and whole building riddled with untreated damp.
It was cheap, clean and close to the 02 area. The decor was a little dated.
The Antigallican is just 10 mins. by bus to the O2 Millenium dome and 50/60 meters from both bus stops and train station so it is a great location for getting around. In spite of poor decor and lack of a cooked breakfast, everything was kept very clean. Booking.com advertised our room as "Twin beds, shared bathroom" - poor wording or just my inexperience? - I was disappointed to find that the shared bathroom was on another floor for use by others so I had to dress to use it during the night! Otherwise a very good budget hotel. "Basic" is an understatement but for 1 or 2 nights the price makes it very good. Friendly staff is a bonus.
