Wonderful location, near the Tower Hill tube stop, and the National Rail, near the Thames, lots of food options, walk to anywhere. Room/bath clean and neat, spacious and modern. No issues, would stay here again!
Proximity to public transport and Tower Bridge. No air conditioning. Price for breakfast was what one would pay for a better hotel in the U.S.!!
Loved everything about this place from the super helpful and friendly staff to the pool and decor. Complimentary Breakfast was plentiful; hotel was close to the Tube. Wish the pool hours were extended for older children, as my 10 year old was limited. The meal we had in the bar wasn't great but I found that to be the case in general with food in England.
Pleasant room Our room didnt have a particularly nice view.. Outlook underground/tube train. Room was quite small compared to usual double rooms which we have stayed in.
Nice hotel, great location, near the Tower Hill station Price is a bit expensive Room was with view to the roof of the lobby which isn't nice :-(
Public room space, sky tower lounge views. Underground garage. Small rooms, queen bed.
Excellent location Uncomfortable ironing board
The rooms are very quiet for a london hotel, both times I have stayed here I have had a room looking over St Katherine's Dock with very little traffic noise
Bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and willing to help give directions and recommendations. Breakfast in hotel lobby was not that appetizing. I would recommend finding another spot for breakfast.
Convenient central location in City of London, near to Tower, river, transport etc Very poor value breakfasts - limited choice of cereal, 'toast' more like lukewarm bread
the food, both breakfast and the evening meal were excellent
The room was very nice and cozy. I requested a baby cot and when we checked in they told me it was ready in the room. But when we arrived in the room there was no baby cot. I called and they told me they had none left and that maybe the next day one would be available. I was really cross since I requested it in March. The following morning they brought one up for us.
The room had some very nice features that show they took care in the design -- things like a soft-close toilet seat and a high-quality shower. The bar on the premises was great -- we arrived hours before our room was ready, and we were able to drink cider in the bar until could check in. We had a little chat with Rob and Laura who were working at the bar; they made us feel very welcome. The location is great, near the Tower of London and close to two Tube stations to make exploring the city easy. Wifi was also great, no complaints. It was a touch noisy. We heard a lot of clomp-clomp-clomp from the room above us -- not sure if he was just a heavy walker or if there was a breakdown in soundproofing. I also heard things like a baby crying at one point. That's really the only thing that keeps this from being a five-star review all the way round. There was also a little noise from outside on Saturday night, though I feel like that's expected in the heart of London at the weekend -- white-noise generator on my phone was enough to drown that out, but not so with the guy upstairs.
Quiet location and comfortable Poor breakfast service
Very efficient and friendly reception staff. Hotel was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. None
Very nice look to the place, right near tower bridge, nicely stocked mini bar that was free. There was no public at reception. We had our phones but needed a set pc/laptop for a transactions we needed completed. asked on the first night, and each time we left the hotel about the laptop they have in the hotel. However they only had one, and it was with the same person for the whole of our trip. this meant that on the 3rd day with no internet access apart from our phones we had to go looking for an internet cafe. in a 4* hotel, with such a good reputation you really dont expect to have to do that.
Staff were very helpful. Room was comfortable with a nice couch as well as bed. Close to a Cooperative store which meant Icould buy food for breakfast lunch etc. dry cleaner nearby for laundry. Expensive, but all of London was expensive. Wish they had bus schedules and train/Underground schedules onsite. Wireless should have been included, given how expensive the room was.
the choice of food for breakfast If you wanted a latte for breakfast you had to pay for it - this wasn't the case when I have stayed at another premier inn previously. the breakfast area i.e where all the food is was too small and why do premier inn put their toating machines in such stupid places that obstruct others - the ones here were just inside the main 'walkthrough area ' with not much room. Why is there no safe in the rooms ?
