Pros: Perfect location and the staff were amazing. So friendly and always smiling - nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and light. The bed was very comfortable and free bottle waters were a nice touch. Amazing en-suite, nice powerful shower.
Cons: I didn't like the perfume pumped through the air-con in the corridors and bedrooms. Infact we had to be moved as I suffer from asthma and it was effecting my breathing to a none perfumed floor (5) and room. The corridors are too dark, felt like a ship..

Pros: The location in Trafalgar Square was very well centrally-located to the attractions we visited in London and access to the Underground at Charing Cross was great. The Square and surrounding area was extremely crowded, but the hotel somehow felt like an oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The bed, pillows and shower were great! We chose the breakfast included option, and felt like that was a good value. Breakfast was much more than just the standard Continental fare; there were hot items available as well. Lastly, all the staff was friendly and helpful!

Pros: The rooftop bar was quite a novelty! The view was great! Seeing the giant ferris wheel "lit up" against the night sky was remarkable! As was the trendy "urban" decor! All of the staff were quite pleasant. This hotel seemed to be a great meeting place for "locals," as they did have a private party that was attended by 40 to 50 people. Also, it seems to attract young professionals (mid "20s to 30s")!

Pros: Great pillows & bed. Thomas was fantastic & very helpful in directions. The check in staff did not advise that reservations were necessary for the rooftop bar - our 3 guests arrived, my husband requested the lift they called up & said it was ok. When my husband & guests got to the rooftop, they were seated in the restaurant. I managed to get it sorted out & we were “squeezed” in - very embarrassing. Your staff needs to advise hotel guests that RESERVATIONS are required.

Pros: Good location and adequate hotel and room. Friendly front desk staff. Quality bed furnishings - good linens. Decent bathroom and Molton Brown supplies.
Cons: Value for money - this hotel was similarly priced to 5 star London hotels but it does not deliver a similar experience. Housekeeping consisted of having the bed made (no turn down service or tidying). Poor hairdryer and minibar (they’ve opted for an ‘all inclusive’ style minibar which consists of water and Coca Cola, no snacks at all - would rather a chargeable bar with wider selection if that is how the hotel intends to play it). Breakfast is weird - they have a buffet and a la carte style (all a la carte items are charged additionally - fine but not fine to charge for a cappuccino or any other type of coffee that is not filter).

Cons: The pillows were "thin!" We had to use two...such a pity, especially when the beds were super comfortable, and all other amenities so pleasing! Lastly, the breakfast buffet was NOT worth the $25 to $30 that it cost, there was nothing exceptional about it! But the other meals were enjoyable.

The hotel is really lovely, spotlessly clean and very modern but also with touches of traditional decor which give it a real feeling of style and class. The location is literally unbeatable. I’d definitely go back.
Cons: A little expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff! Beyond all expectations! Loved the two people, hotel employees
Cons: I m not sure if the fridge was supposed to work or just be storage but it would have been nice to have had ice or cold drinks.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel location and rooms were outstanding. Within walking distance of almost every site and restaurant area we wanted to visit.
Cons: Buyer beware: We were charged a "flexible rate" at check out which meant we were charged a different rate for each day of our stay. This turned out to be more expensive than we expected and the explanation offered for these daily rate differences was not explained to our satisfaction. Also, our rooms were warm at night with insufficient air conditioning in our rooms.
6.0 Good
Pros: Great location. Good staff and concierge
Cons: Shower leaked, out with water covering the floor even after they said they fixed it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated in the perfect location. The use of the Amba Lounge was an added bonus. We had dinner in the restaurant which was wonderful. Also used room service one evening which was lovely and arrived quickly from when ordered.
Cons: Cannot fault this hotel
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff were all great. The concierge in particular was so very helpful to us. Each day of our stay she helped with restaurant reservations, transportation, etc, always with a cheerful friendly smile. The location was great, walkable from the theater and many restaurants, and steps from an underground station.
Cons: Grout was coming up in the bathroom. Room was fine but not special. Breakfast in the restaurant wasn’t good.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is great! Facilities are ok, gym a bit small.
Cons: Gym a bit small, bathroom in room not optimal.

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Pros: This is my new favourite hotel in London. We have stayed severally in five star venues, each with strong points, but this one has it all! Exceptional service across the board from front of staff through to cleaning provision (really immaculate clean and I’m a stickler). Executive lounge a lovely oasis within an oasis and staff most attentive for the breakfast offering there. Lovely all round touches from free ice cream ribbons and a Paddington book for the children through to late night coffee offerings for a hard working husband in the business centre. Hard to come up with how they might do better. The standards are very high and the clientele well behaved whilst the location is convenient for pretty much everything. Just a wonderful place to immerse yourself in, thoroughly recommend.

Cons: I had the lamb for main course in the Dining Room - the meat was below standard (undercooked with fat throughout)

Pros:
Cons: Everything was okay except one point happened in the reception, they get 100£ As deposit for any additional service, however during my checking out they refused for refund because they believe that the didn’t detect the full amount of the room rate, but after checking the admitted it was their mistake and release the amount of 100£. Thanks

Pros: Location
Cons: At £513 per night for a club room and the cramped breakfast space this is really not good value for money.
I guess it is more suited to bull buy tours who seemed to consume the hotel than a business traveler.

Cons: The facilities were ancient. The room was incredibly small and dated. There was peeling paint on the walls old mis-matched furniture and the curtains had stains on them. Not sure how this could be classified as 4 stars when it most closely resembled a poorly maintain motel. Pros: Really good location
Cons: When we asked to upgrade the room they told us there wasn’t any suites available. There was only a one bedroom suite which was three grades above our booking. When we checked on booking.com there were rooms available. When we informed them of this, the suites suddenly became available. They’re just after your money all of the time. It’s not about customer service.

Pros: Great center location in silent neighbourhood. Rooms were nice and comfy.
Cons: There was some confusion in their system or communication between stuff, even though we paid extra for 2 hours later check out, the stuff (three different people) managed to call in to our room three times telling us to check out at 12 or later calling why haven't we checked out yet.

7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, major sights at walking distance. Rooms good size - mini-bar and coffee/tea making facilities always a plus. Breakfast pretty good ( although the coffee is horrible). Pillow selection.
Cons: Staff in general needs more hospitality training, especially front-desk (too many juniors). No pro-active / smiling attitude in general, no friendly chats. Bar / bar area is heavily under utilised and could be made into a nice area to hang out. I always like cozy bar areas in hotels, with good atmosphere, friendly lighting and some background music (good for booze sales as well!) - but this was missing unfortunately. 2 exceptions, bar staff Jezus and Simina were wonderful and do understand the importance of making your guests feel welcome. Breakfast - food selection is fine (full english always nice) - but personally I find a good coffee (cappuccino / espresso) very important and this is sorely missed. Simply invest in a good, self-service coffee machine and I'm sure the guests will give top marks for breakfast. Beds slightly too firm for my liking - but this is personal preference.

Pros: Amazing location. Very comfortable not noisy neighborhood. Close to Victoria coach station and shopping, restaurants at Victoria underground station. Walking distance from embankment. Very clean bathroom. Quite spacious room and good mini bar.
Cons: Russian speaking lady at reception was a bit lost and gave me ground floor room which I didn’t like. Had to change it within same day via manager. Other personnel was good and very helpful.

Pros: The room was clean and the staff useful - replied quickly to my queries.
Cons: I booked a room with no windows as was getting in late and check-in out early the next day, but did not expect the ceiling of the room to be so low, was like feeling in a box.
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent position near Victoria Station which makes it easy to get to/from both airports, especially Gatwick via the Gatwick Express. The room was clean and made ready early. Wine and Cheese in the evening was also nice before heading out to see the city.
Cons: The mattress was not very comfortable in the queen room. Lack of a shower door or curtain in our room made for a very wet bathroom (however it was an accessible room so I see why it was set up the way it was)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved how the hotel creatively made the most of the space in the room. Everything we needed. Location was excellent. Room was very clean with bed made & fresh towels & water daily. & unexpected bonus of sky tv!!!
Cons: Only a very small observation rather than complaint but we felt the breakfast bar was too close to the main reception making it a bit awkward & crowded to get to breakfast buffet when others guest where checking in & out. Maybe if it was moved to the corner as you come through the front door where there is a bit more space & away from the activity around the main reception might address this. But as I said a very minor issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff couldn't do enough to help lovely hotel in a great location
Cons: Nothing everything was great
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn't have been better for us as it was a 5 minute walk away from both our transport link and Buckingham Palace. The staff where very accommodating and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was small but had everything we required for our stay. Although we did not eat breakfast at the hotel it looked very appetising. We would definitely re visit this hotel.
Cons: The room was small and a little claustrophobic as it had no window
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing hotel the staff were outstanding !! So friendly so helpful... Being Greeted how me and my partner were just made the whole experience worth while 100% we will be coming again
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Rooms are small No help from porter / hotel staff to get to room. Limited menu
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent; exceeded my expectations. Easy walking location to not only Buckingham Palace but Green Park, St. James Park and Hyde Park. We walked to the west end easily to the theater district and the National Art Gallery, Trafalgar Square..so many wonderful sights to see. Right across the road from Victoria Station with easy access to the bus and tube. The staff were so available to help and provide information and direction; always friendly and professional. Loved coming in to the wine and cheese selection in the afternoon; a lovely most welcoming touch. Can't say enough about the high standards of this hotel; would recommend it to anyone staying in London for a short time wanting to see the best of what it has to offer. Thank you!!
Cons: The size of the room. A very efficient use of space with every inch accounted for. It was indeed comfortable and provided everything we needed but small by North American standards. Everything else including the lovely Cadbury's hot chocolate made up for the lack of space.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very good with checking in early and was organized.
Cons: The shower was an issue. Someone helped me fix it but still had problems. It wouldn't adjust the temperature.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness .. friendliness of the staff...shower area... location to the city...
Cons: Size of the room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to Victoria Station and a wonderful complimentary wine and cheese each evening!
Cons: The bed is literally against two walls so you must climb over the other person to get in or out of bed - better suited for one person.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice wine on arrival. Friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The W Hotel is in a very central location in London - right in the heart of Chinatown and it's surroundings. We expected it to be quite loud but found the hotel to be extremely quiet and comfortable during our stay there. The hotel has a very funky vibe and is suited to travellers who don't mind being in the heart of the action and looking for a modern hotel. The room was comfortable and had all the modern conveniences one would expect from a hotel of W's size. Overall, a pretty good stay!

Pros: The location in Leicester Square was very nice, and the hotel seemed to be a popular place to visit.
Cons: I received the worst treatment possible from the managerial staff. Firstly, even though they had my reservation, which was made and confirmed a month and a half in advance, they decided that they didn't have any room available for me to stay in when I arrived to check in. I found this to be very unprofessional since they could have called me or emailed me prior to my arrival at the hotel to give me a forewarning so that I could plan ahead as well. The situation was worsened by the staff then relaying this information to me in a very condescending manner in which they had the very unapologetic tone of "take it or leave it".
Secondly, they decided that a fair way to "compensate" me would be by reserving a room in another hotel on my behalf, without any input from me regarding choice, and then giving me a ride to this new hotel. I specifically chose the W for my stay and did not choose the other hotel when making my initial plans. So, the manager felt he could take the payment for the room at the W, decide that they no longer have a room at the W, then deny me the choice of an alternative hotel, and all without the option of a refund. They said they were compensating me, but I feel that they cheated me greatly. It was terrible customer service. Eventually, I had no choice but to take their offer of staying at the other property, which I didn't want to stay in, since they were not going to make any room available for me at the W for the night.
Truthfully, I feel there were a bunch of racial undertones and biases based on the unprofessional, condescending, unempathetic, and unapologetic tone of the manager and staff. I have stayed at many hotels around the world. This has been, by far, my worst experience with any hotel staff regarding a reservation.

Pros: The location is perfect for exploring London. I also love that you can step off the train and leave your luggage behind and start your day. The staff were amazing and upgraded our room for our wedding anniversary.
Cons: We had the worst nights sleep we have ever had in a hotel. There is obviously a bar or club within the hotel and the music played at a ridiculous level until 2am! We were on the first floor and possibly directly above the club so the base of the music vibrates through our whole room!!!!
4.0 Okay
Pros: Great breakfast, clean rooms, but...
Cons: Lifts far too slow to close doors and to get up to each floor Main restaurant menu far to fancy, none of my tea wanted to eat there, 90% of people there, chose drinks and not good. Menu was trying to be Michelin, when nice good food, without silly 'trying too hard' names and combinations would have worked. Staff in restaurant were slow. The exec happy hour canapes were poor and not nice. Drinks too 30mins to arrive, Canapes had to remind them 3 times. Air con machine making banging and clicking sounds, woke us both up at 5am. Not good, would not sleep in hotel again, unless these issues are fixed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: fire alarms going off at night. Charging 5 star prices for 2 star rooms. Smallest bathroom in the UK, no wonder they have no pictures of the bathrooms on their website.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice breakfast.
Cons: The executive lounge was under refurbishment so had to use bar area, after many stays in this hotel and having used the quiet relaxing executive lounge with buffet style food and drinks the bar did not give the intended feel, and no choice of finger food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most everything. I have stayed here twice before and will stay again. Nice rooms. Nice people. Lovely lobby. Great bar. Good breakfast. A quiet, calm place. The price on booking.com was excellent.
Cons: Perhaps a little variation at breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well, last time we stayed at the Grosvenor, the included breakfast was the full breakfast, this time it was just a continental in the lounge, OK but not as good as the other 2 times we stayed. The room was comfortable as always.
Cons: Did not care much for the executive lounge, too quiet and isolated. Preferred the champange bar for the atmosphere.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and room was nice and quiet
Cons: Pillows were very hard and lift to our room wasn’t working so we had to carry our cases upstairs. Was fine for us but would have been better if concierge had offered to help.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location of the hotel was great. Beautiful lobby and structure.
Cons: The Fire alarm went off in our room at 4:30am causing me to jump out of bed hitting my shoulder which is now in pain several days later. The staff said it was an error. Plus the television did not work and the cold faucet in the bathroom did not work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient grand friendly
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: The lobby was beautiful and it was a great location.
Cons: The rooms were tiny. There was no room to even open a suitcase. I expected more for the price. The elevators had issues as well and we had to carry our suitcases up stairs.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Great Location next to the Victoria Station.
Cons: Old building and the service was very poor. Our request for an early check in was not met and saw most of the guests loitering in the lobby until their rooms were ready. Had to wait for 4 1/2 hrs to get the room (till the normal check in time). Looks like they stick to their normal check in time irrespective of the availability of the rooms. Fire alarm went off at 5.30 am the following day and no one knew the reason for it. It was cold and raining outside and there were no umbrellas or a shelter to go out of the hotel. Staff were not properly trained for such a situation and they gave us different answers for the alarm to go off. Fire truck came with only two fire men and after about 40 mts allowed to go in. Alarm went off 3 times again the same day around 11.30pm and yet again the same routine. We were scared as hell for the rest of the 3 nights as we had no option left and were on the 4th floor and no escape if a fire breaks out. The breakfast was awful and no choice at all. From the second day onward we opted to go out to have breakfast. Its definitely not worth the money we paid.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and nice building. The bathroom was nice.
Cons: The room was very small

Pros: The location is excellent (just behind the Tate Museum & the MI-5 HQ, as well as only a couple of minutes away from the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey). Tube stations are 10min.+ away, but the area is well covered by buses. The common spaces look clean and modern and the staff is friendly and polite (but nothing "over the top", though). If you manage to get a good deal, it could be a very affordable hotel in the middle of London. I paid £550 for 5 nights, but a few days before or a few days after my stay and I could've easily paid around £1,200 for the same number of nights in the same period - mid-August.

Pros: I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions in the past due to it being located very close to my daughters apartment.
Cons: Since I have been staying over the years I have seen a marked deterioration in the hotel rooms and in general. The hotel requires some investment in specific renovation. I stayed twice in September and noted that in one of the rooms the fridge had been ripped out and the woodwork was badly damaged.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff were a little rude and initially was making me wait to check into a room at 3 PM and I arrived at 2:30. Once I told them I was a Hilton honors member they all of a sudden said the room was available. My checkin experience could have been better.
7.7 Good

Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated and could do with a fresh coat of paint and some new carpeting at the very least. The design is also very simple and minimal, which gives an overall "basic" feeling. Some refurbishment would go a long way in improving the comfort of guests and would justify some of the heftier rates charged by the hotel (probably off the back of the hotel's premium location rather than room comfort and facilities).

Cons: Small room, facilities not great in room, one teaspoon for two people?

4.6 Okay
Pros:
Cons: There was no hot water at all. Served sour and cold fish from room service. No hair dryer. No iPhone port. Lacked the promised amenities like hot water! Totally unacceptable. Should have been told that prior to check in so we could have stayed elsewhere.

Pros: It’s location is good for central London.
Cons: No hot water Dirty coffee cup left in the bathroom Cleaners walking into the room Poor breakfast Bitter coffee

Cons: The room was tiny - especially the bathroom The shower had good pressure but no adjustable height so felt as if I was drowning at times The wifi had to be paid for There was a light switch coming off the wall The room was freezing The room was in need of a real makeover - the carpet was so worn that it was turning from red to brown

Pros: It did not seem to give us any bed bugs and it was close to Victoria station.
Cons: Pay for WiFi when it said it was included. Dirty. Awful mattress. Shower overflowed in 3 minutes. Shower cord was kinked waterflow sucked So cold you needed the space heater on all night. Only 2 of the 6 outlets worked. Loud. Thin walls. Toilet far away.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The room was filthy for which there is no excuse. Included breakfast was laughably disgusting. The lady for want of a better term of the word who seems to be an owner is very very rude and abused me for using the wrong disgusting coffee pot that was an old rusty perculator from the 1980’s
