Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating! Worked hard to ensure we had an amazing stay- for example, they let us check in ultra early because we were exhausted from our flight. The room itself was incredible- clean, big and had a kitchen with stove, dishwater, microwave, refrigerator, utensils, etc. Can't stress enough how lovely the huge windows with the NYC skyline views were! Did not want to leave the room!! Doesn't look nice from the outside - it's hard to notice, the logo doesn't look good and the building itself is super dark/slender (windows are boarded up on one side - looks like a vacant space for a business). Perhaps this is an NYC thing, but the room was freezing and heater would only work if the outside temperature had been below 52 for a while! They gave us a space heater which was very nice of them (and speaks to how accommodating they were!) but hardly made a dent in the room temperature unfortunately.
The rooms were spacious for NYC and very comfortable. There was some room service but also a restaurant next door. We only had breakfast there but it was great and there were other options nearby. The rooms come with a small kitchen so you can save your money for other things. The air conditioner was next to the bed and it was a little difficult to get the right temperature.

Great location close to uptown and downtown with minimal noise
Beds are comfortable, great having 2 rooms to spread out in. Full kitchen great,even if just for cereal and milk. Needs updating, furniture, lamps, etc. getting very worn, tattered and very outdated. Concierge not much help.
The location was perfect for my needs and there is little else to choose from in this area. Staff were cheerful and earnest. The complimentary tea/coffee/lounge with free wi-fi was was stocked and a nice view... excellent touch. There were shorts in the electrical system in my room. The air conditioning, electrical outlets charging my devices, and the bathroom light would occasionally spontaneously turn off even when I was inside with the key in place. The window area near the AC and the furniture was really grungy. The wallpaper looked to be at least a decade old, making me think the management hadn't done a full renovation in many years, only superficial spotty maintenance work. Definitely expected more for the price.
The staff was very friendly which made my stay very enjoyable. The room was spacious for NYC standards. They were quick with bag storage, check in, etc. I ordered delivery food for dinner, and the front desk called the room and sent it right up. I was very happy with the customer service. Wi-Fi is not included in the rooms, they did not refill the shampoo, conditioner, body wash every day, the breakfast on the 10th floor could definitely use more variety. They should definitely offer a non-diary milk option. They only had skim or half + half. Not that many TV Channels,
Got a really good deal. Standard hotel with nice amenities. Water in the room cost $7 plus no vending machines.
The entrance is kind of hidden but the lobby was luxurious and sharp. I really loved the semi-circle lounge area and the colors scheme. I didn't like the original room that was assigned to me. I was extremely excited for this booking as it was a birthday surprise for my partner. However, the original room was so tiny it was difficult to move in. As soon as we entered, there was a unpleasant scent. I wasn't sure if it was coming from the ac vent as it looked pretty dingy or if the room wasn't cleaned properly. I took a chance and went downstairs to request a different room. The first front desk associate I asked quickly prompted me that all rooms were booked. When MILTA who overheard as she was getting off a call, generously helped us out. I am forever grateful to MILTA for accommodating my partner and I and for Marcel for providing a room that felt like our own and not a hotel room. Thank you Marcel!
I I paid 2 different fees which mean I was double charged.
Good value I forgot to leave a tip for housekeeping the first day I arrived. When I returned in the evening, I found that although the room was properly cleaned, the bathroom supplies (hand towel, shampoo) were not replenished. Everything was back to normal the following days when I did a tip each day.
The staff is very friendly. Rooms nice and clean. Decided to go to the 10th floor for the $12.95 breakfast. Very disappointed with the value. No different than what you would have free at Days Inn. Do not recommend it at all. second day ordered a pot of coffee, tasted like colored water.
The hotel was very trendy. We booked the basic room, but we felt it was a little small so I told the attendant at the front I wanted to upgrade the next morning, he told me to call up to the desk the next morning. Once I got back up to my room I received a call that I got a free upgrade and we would be able to stay in the bigger room for our stay which was awesome and close to everything to sight see and the fdr. The price of juice was pricey but it's New York and you gotta make money but nothing was bad about the hotel from our experience
Room was claustrophobic and so small we could hardly move around. Fact that a man committed suicide with toxic chemicals in the room next door certainly did not make for a good experience. Hotel staff was only responsive when we inquired about obtaining a new room. We did get a better room, but were offered no compensation.
Location is superb, especially for visiting Lower Manhattan or Midtown. Staff was exemplary and very attentive to our needs. I was able to do an early check in. The rooms are quite small. Nice, clean but very small.
The staff was so nice and helpful. Paying for Internet is crazy, we travel all over the world rarely is the Internet a extra fee.
I loved that the hotel manager Mike Williams is very accommodating to me! I appreciate even the smallest gesture! Staff amazing, good neighborhood, walking distance to the metro! Love it and would definitely stay there again on my next visit! ! Oh and the view from the 10th floor is incredible:)
Great location and very hospitable and clean. It was a small space and when the air conditioner needed to be on, it would be incredibly loud.

Good prices. Clean and comfortable rooms which are a bit small but that is why you get the good price. Nice bathroom. Need a better sign on the street to help find the hotel. Block is not the nicest but lots of nice restaurants and other amenities nearby.
