AED 738 Find Cheap Flights to Iceland – Compare and Save

Movies were old and third rate. Very poor on a seven hour flight. Food was OK but not business class caliber

Although the flight from JFK to Keflavik is not inexpensive, Iceland Air offers nothing but water, no soft drinks, to passengers without a charge. The seats are uncomfortable, there is no leg room, and there was no available internet to purchase.

The plane was 100% full. Too cramped and difficult for stewards to do their work on such a large plane.

Was hard to sleep, but other then that everything was good.

We got to the runway and had to go back to terminal to have plane worked on, which is fine, but the 40 minute connecting flight was already gone because of this delay and had to wait 5 hours to get on a different flight and only got a meal voucher which I didn’t see the email until after I had already ordered and paid for food. I feel I should be compensated.

You should offer more than 1 cup of water on a 2.5 hour flight.

Staff is all professional and courteous. Boarding was unnecessarily chaotic and painfully slow; planes are basic - no food (not even peanuts), no regular usb chargers (only new usb-c), movie choice is tiny with nonstop adverts… but clean plane and very nice staff.

Hard to figure out how to put back the seat, how to get the entertainment, how to upload passport docs. Also, a warning in the airport that food was all for purchase would have been helpful.

The flight itself was fine—typical tight legroom and no complimentary food. The real issue was that it wasn’t my original flight. Icelandair cancelled my initial booking, forced a rebooking through a different airport, and then cancelled the new connection as well. Not exactly a dependable experience.

Horrible. My dad was recently hospitalized and diagnosed with lymphoma and Icelandair refused to refund flight even though I had a letter from his physician.
