That was a wonderful trip. Staff are courteous, Doha airport is awesome and flight is very clean. Asian vegetarian food stated okay but could be improved.

I am a tall passenger and this caused much discomfort on the flight, I had to keep getting up to walk around. Booking reference: WFYQEG I was informed that I will receive my baggage in Dammam Airport, later on I arrived in Dammam and I didn’t get my baggage, they claimed due to my friend Mr. Faisal didn’t show because he left the Airport and drive his own car all the way to Dammam. OK, I get it and I totally respect the system when you don’t show up your baggage get dropped from the flight, but it’s not my fault when i stay in Bahrain Airport waiting for my next flight around 5 hours then once i get to Dammam I don’t receive my baggage, because my friend who’s didn’t show up his baggage was arrived to Dammam airport, and i’m the one who deserve to get his own baggage didn’t receive anything. I think you mixed up between our baggage, the tag on my bag has his name but actually it’s mine and his bag has my name but actually it’s for him, that’s why I received his bag in DMM airport and I didn’t get mine and i was so frustrated. Flight got delayed and was declared before half an hour. It’s not fair with those who are loyal with Indigo.

Check in is a mess. Be ready for a traumatic experience from the unsupportive and rude check in staffs and duty managers at Calicut airport. It’s a chaos and the lines are mostly first in last out, as they don’t care of the passenger well being or the waiting time. They are just concerned of checking in before the boarding call. Personal experience is of standing 2 hours straight just for check in. Flight is ok, food preordered are all the instant ones with hot water mix, which tastes pathetic. Overall, will never take another indigo flight to fly out of india.

Bag check is not as smooth as can be at CST Terminal 2. Passengers are advised to print out and attach boarding passes at home in a bid to avoid crowding at self-service kiosks given the Covid-19 public health crisis. However attendants then say tags need to be re-printed at the counter as the ones provided by the airline at the airport are more secure. While the check-in process is aided by the helpful staff, Indigo Airlines could do a better job of providing more self-service kiosks and clearer guidance during the online purchase process. Suggest calling ahead to confirm situation on the ground.

The choice of 15kg as the limit is a BIG problem for international travelers who may be coming for longer stays. We were charged for every kilo even though prepay options online were not user friendly. 4 thumbs down, way down."

Need to improve food items .Delivered very less variety of food.

If none of the screen works then good to not have any. They keep freezing and keep spitting sql database error messages. For most of them touch screen or the remote doesn’t work at all. Worst food I had in my whole life. Also they are offering only 2 times food instead of 3 although it was good because food quality wouldn’t have attracted me to take chance for the third time. No pillow or the blankets or toothbrush etc. randomly allocating seats to the same family members. My whole family had to sit all over the place. Folks on checking counter not helpful at all. The carry on bag I’m using for past 10 years was not allowed this time and I don’t know why.

Air India played some games. They cancelled the flight on us, and moved us out by a month. When we asked to change the dates, there was no availability. So I ended up cancelling my flight, however on my original date of travel the flight flew. I wonder if AirIndia is playing games with us and cancelled our tickets alone.

NO SIGNS at gate explaining 26 A was for business and 26 B was for economy and these gates were a 3 minute walk from each other. No staff to advise until finally an announcement. Lounge is ‘tired’ with limited food selections. Disappointing all around."

Cons: "The plane was beat up. Many overhead lights did not work ( 3 in the row 18 and 2 in row 19 intermittently). Entertainment system did not work. In row 18 I had to simultaneously run the same program on two sets and listen to sound from one and watch the picture in another because independently they would not work. The air hostess was particularly rude to the elderly couple in row 18 and after watching a few interactions I had to intervene and tell the air hostess that she has to respect the customers and cannot talk to them like that. She would address them with a crinkly nose and condescending tone as if they were smelly uncultured people that she has to put up with. This is when the aforementioned lights and reclining systems in the row would not work and she could not do anything about it. Overall there is a huge potential here for AI if only they can capitalize on the good opportunities. They should fix the air plane mechanical parts. The upholstery can use freshening up. Air India should retrain their crew to make them understand that customers are the reason they exist. I hope they succeed."
