Letting us know our 8am flight would be 3 hours late, every flight of theirs was late by hours. Seems like it’s the same everyday. We could have slept in another couple hours easily instead of coming to the airport at 6am.

It was so hot. No pillows were available and when asked for a blanket instead there were no blankets available as well

Greeting BH International Airport, Flight No. GF-2101 From Bahrain to Dammam At 1:35 am. to 2:20 am. Booking reference: WFYQEG I was informed that I will receive my baggage in Dammam Airport, later on I arrived in Dammam and I didn’t get my baggage, they claimed due to my friend Mr. Faisal didn’t show because he left the Airport and drive his own car all the way to Dammam. OK, I get it and I totally respect the system when you don’t show up your baggage get dropped from the flight, but it’s not my fault when i stay in Bahrain Airport waiting for my next flight around 5 hours then once i get to Dammam I don’t receive my baggage, because my friend who’s didn’t show up his baggage was arrived to Dammam airport, and i’m the one who deserve to get his own baggage didn’t receive anything. I think you mixed up between our baggage, the tag on my bag has his name but actually it’s mine and his bag has my name but actually it’s for him, that’s why I received his bag in DMM airport and I didn’t get mine and i was so frustrated. I kept having to request water because only a small glass of water was made available at meal service, and typically most airlines on international.flights offer water consistently throughout the flight. Flight attendants all but disappeared in between services. Coffee was also terrible borderline undrinkable. When luggage was lost no offer was provided for a solution - voucher, per diem, etc. We were coming from a warm climate and had to exist for two days layering warm weather clothes. Luckily we had our coats in our carryon. But both travelers became sick during our trip."

The worst airline to travel in India. Not at all customer service oriented. They don’t give a damn about passenger comfort and services.

We are four family members so they given last row of flight which are not so comfortable

Check in is a mess. Be ready for a traumatic experience from the unsupportive and rude check in staffs and duty managers at Calicut airport. It’s a chaos and the lines are mostly first in last out, as they don’t care of the passenger well being or the waiting time. They are just concerned of checking in before the boarding call. Personal experience is of standing 2 hours straight just for check in. Flight is ok, food preordered are all the instant ones with hot water mix, which tastes pathetic. Overall, will never take another indigo flight to fly out of india.

Bag check is not as smooth as can be at CST Terminal 2. Passengers are advised to print out and attach boarding passes at home in a bid to avoid crowding at self-service kiosks given the Covid-19 public health crisis. However attendants then say tags need to be re-printed at the counter as the ones provided by the airline at the airport are more secure. While the check-in process is aided by the helpful staff, Indigo Airlines could do a better job of providing more self-service kiosks and clearer guidance during the online purchase process. Suggest calling ahead to confirm situation on the ground.

The choice of 15kg as the limit is a BIG problem for international travelers who may be coming for longer stays. We were charged for every kilo even though prepay options online were not user friendly. 4 thumbs down, way down."

We were charged 3000rps each for overweight luggage and the staff at the check in counter in Jaipur were really rude about it. After having paid an extra 3000 rps which was almost like buying another flight ticket to new Delhi for just a 35 min flight, our flight was 1 hour delayed!! Definitely we will NEVER fly with indigo again!!!"

Airplane legroom was good, Plane was comfortable. Food was good, service was good. Need more movie options. Maps did not work. Flight arrived ahead of schedule which was good, overall a good experience.

Good drinks with cordial staff. Very bad food served. Yea can’t have non veg options over when half the plane is yet to be served Very narrow seats.

Most TVs were not working. Reading lights not working. Airplane’s interior is falling apart has been kept intact using duck tape. Very poor condition. Such airplanes must not be allowed to fly as can be hazardous. Who ever is supplying the food is cutting corners. Low quality snacks no variety at all. Air India can look at other airlines and learn to improve. It used to be so good in 90s.

Crew was great. Food is very boring. No liquor as usual they didn’t have stock. Always a problem with ccj airport with all flight companies.

Food was terrible ( but again can’t really expect good food in flights) rudest staff i have ever come across. Cons: "Outrageous Air India policy: after getting a boarding card, it's the passengers responsibility to make it to the boarding gate on time. If you miss a flight due to long lines at Indian passport control and / or security check then, unlike other airlines, Air India won't book on their next available flight as a courtesy. Rather, Air India makes passengers purchase a new ticket. In my case, I managed to reach the gate for my Chicago flight 15 minutes before departure but the gate had closed 5 minutes earlier. Next, Air India insisted I pay $1,400 for a new one way ticket. They said it's my fault that I showed up at the airport 90 minutes before departure instead of "4 hours". So even after getting a boarding card, for Air India it's the passengers' fault if there are long lines at passport control."

Cons: "I fly a LOT, and this was one of the very worst flight experiences I’ve ever had. The flight was delayed and the staff (on the ground and in the air) were rude and unhelpful. As a result I missed my connecting flights to Nairobi and on to Lusaka. Air India staff couldn’t be bothered to offer even the most basic support in trying to make the flight or helping to reschedule. I had to spend almost five extremely stressful hours running back and forth in the Mumbai airport to get Air India to issue a basic form letter stating their flight was delayed in order to get my next flight rebooked, and was yelled at by their abysmal customer service staff. As a result I’m out hundreds of dollars in missed flights and extra hotel rooms and arrived 24 hours late (!) to my final destination. I will think long and hard before EVER booking an Air India flight again."

The flight attendants kept one lavatory locked for their own use. The food was mediocre,. The lavatories were not cleaned. I have been in many other carriers and the flight attendants maintained the lavatories. Flight attendants were not helpful with placing or locating spaces for carry on luggagess. No simple amenities provided like socks , earplugs, or eye cover like other airlines. The seats were falling apart, fabric was torn. I have to give credit to the person who assisted in issuing me a new booking due to a snag with name. However, I was placed in a different line after being issued a boarding pass without further explanation. Every other passenger in the same queue were perplexed like me . Air India badly needs to up their ante. Customer service is poor overall. Seriously makes me wonder how aircraft safety and maintenance is performed."

While the seats provided sufficient Kent legroom space, the pull out food trays were wobbly, unstable and uneve. It is time they need an overhaul! Entertainment was sub par compared to other airlines. Selections were old and meager. Cameras weren't working properly!"

Cons: "After flight was delayed and arrived late we went to the ticket agent to get our missed flight rescheduled. After almost an hour they hadn't completed a single correction. After 90 minutes of fuming they rebooked us for the following day and put us up in the crappiest, dirtiest, noisiest budget hotel we've stayed in over 6 months in India, Myanmar and Thailand."

Pros: "Waited 1 hr. to check into my flight even though only 4 people were in front of me in line. Waited another hour after boarding time to get on the plane. Two of the bathrooms were broken on the flight, leaving only two bathrooms for the entire flight, so had to wait in a half-hour queue each time I had to use the bathroom. Seats were uncomfortable and staff was inattentive and didn't seem to care."
