Counter service took too long and understaffed.

Had to wait a long time for the shuttle bus. Had to wait a long time in the line up to rent the car. Took an hour and a half to finally get the car.

I ordered an intermediate SUV and got a Dodge Hornet. I should have known better about what I was receiving ...my bad. The agent did offer an upgrade but I was in a hurry to leave, next time I will be more informed.

The pick up was slow because the renting broker did not complete the full insurance for the car, it kept giving errors. Budget / Avis is not reachable through the phone, nor are the offices helpful. I could not reach them as I wanted to extend my rental, which left me in a very diffıcult situation. Drop off in Lille (France) was a nightmare. The office phone number on the contract was wrong. Trying to reach them through their general number was not possible. I'm still waiting for them to return my deposit. It's an absolute nightmare to work with them or get anything done, whether you're trying through the phone or in their offices. I would like to request my deposit ASAP please.

The pick up was disappointing at Budget. It took 2 hours past our pick up time for the car to be ready. About 20 people had to wait 2-2.5 hours. Some people missed important events and many were very angry. Not a good experience. The drop off was fine so it brought the score up to mediocre.

Good car, typical European forced technology not a fan of that. Excellent ride, mpg, car does ride low if you’re moving 4-5 people and bags it may drag over speed bumps and such.

Dear Customer Service, Upon arrival, the location did not have the vehicle I originally reserved available. Additionally, the vehicle I was provided was filthy and had a very strong smoke odor, making the experience extremely unpleasant. I contacted Budget Customer Care approximately 3 to 4 times seeking assistance and resolution. Unfortunately, I was repeatedly given the runaround and inconsistent guidance, with no meaningful support or resolution offered. I am highly disappointed in the lack of customer service and overall experience. As a paying customer, I expected a clean vehicle, proper accommodation of my reservation, and professional assistance when concerns were raised. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed promptly and an appropriate resolution being provided. Sincerely, A loyal customer
