We had a horrendous experience! We arrived at the Movida counter in the Sao Paulo airport and asked the man if he spoke English or Spanish. In Portugese he answered that he didn't. My husband and I can communicate fairly well in Portuguese using Spanish if the other person is willing to try. He refused to talk to us. I tried to tell him that we had an online reservation and we didn't know where the shuttle stop was, but he just kept saying "I don't have any cars " in Portuguese. I had the car pickup instructions with our confirmation number printed out so I showed them to him and told him to look at the confirmation. He glanced at it and then said, " I don't have any cars" in Portuguese. Then he ignored us. I was charged for the car rental. We were stuck in the airport for two hours until an Uber finally took us to the bus station in the center of Sao Paulo so we could find another rental company. That rental company filled in the gaps between our Spanish and their Portugese with google translate. The Movida guy was It was horrible! Really rude and unhelpful.

Very bad experience. First, no one spoke English at the counter. We received a car and headed to the first stop. However, after a first quick stop, an engine failure occurred. It was impossible to continue and neither to join the company with our international cellphone. With the help of a local (thankfully) we were able to call a tow truck. We headed then to another Movida office where we receive the "same" car, but in fact with less options. It was impossible to do a upgrade there. After 10 days, we observe that the adhesive around the front wheels (left and right) peeled off. The plastic if the front right totally peeled off on the road while driving and it could have been very dangerous. We were able to repare it by ouserself (the company fault for giving us a faulty car and not our fault). They were not really comprehensive and we are not sure if we will have to pay or not. Hopefully, only good thing was the guy at the drop off that was kind. It was the worst experience I have had in a rental car company.

Very well located, the kiosk was inside the airport very easy to find, also the attendant l very friendly and helpful, plenty of drop in/out service, I didn’t have to wait too long for the driver to take me to the agency.

The pick up via shuttle was very far, but I know that is a function of the airport logistics, however, I would have appreciated if they'd told me at pick up that I could return directly at airport, which I only discovered by accident.

I arrived late at the airport 1 hour and the reservation was no longer in my name. I had to pay and make another reservation. That's not fair.
