After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Cons: "Three things : 1) The crew seemed to be relatively inexperienced and just out of college. I observed a couple of informal communication exchanges from their part. But the crew were helpful and tried their best to provide the best customer experience. 2) The boarding process normally starts with business and premium class and then followed by economy. For my flight however the economy class was boarded first while the business class passengers were kept stranded waiting in a separate line. This also reflected the inexperience of the crew which handled the boarding. 3) Vistara was my connecting flight from Pune to Delhi followed by British airways flight from Delhi to London. Though the flights were booked under one ticket, the representative did not checkin my luggage throughout the journey due to which I had to collect my baggage at Delhi and check it in again. The representative explained that vistara still didn't have alliances with most airlines allowing luggage to be checked in till final destination. This is another front on which they can improve."

After having paid an extra 3000 rps which was almost like buying another flight ticket to new Delhi for just a 35 min flight, our flight was 1 hour delayed!! I specifically requested for extra leg space chairs as I have someone in my family who is 6'+ and another member who recently had knee replacements and thus needs extra leg space to allow more knee flexibility. My seats were all good to go, and I arrived at the airport 8hrs prior to my flight and was able to check in and print boarding passes. When I was boarding the aircraft, the gentlemen crossed off my families seats and re-wrote them in PEN right at the gate. I told him I did not approve, and he said "it is to make all your members together". I had told him we were already seated together and I did not like him switching my seats last minute. Turns out when I went in the aircraft that my seats were given to other members, and my family was forced to sit in another row. The team in the aircraft called the guy from the gate and asked why this was done. He gave me all sorts of bullshit excuses, none which made sense. He said it is "Impossible" to give me my original seats back. The other issue occurred from SFO-DELHI where the crew was incredibly rude. They would walk away in the middle of someone speaking, and wouldn't stand to listen to the full request."

Cons: "Baggage restrictions cost travelers $100s of dollars if India is only a stopover when visiting other near countries. One light check in was all that was allowed. Our group was on a medical mission and had to have a bag for our clothes and one for medical supplies. It cost over $800 for 6 of us to have the medical come with us to Nepal. As humanitarian volunteers, that money comes out of our pickets. There is no reimbursement from the sponsoring charitable foundation. We could check both bags for free from the US to Nepal, but because we had to have a layover in India, Air India charged for one of the bags. There was no other airline option available to avoid this cost."

Not even when the air-stewardesses inching forward to serve food towards the storage. Only when they were right underneath it did one notice in surprise and close it. 3. Cons: "The plane was very old with no padding in the seats. You could feel the back of the seat grinding into your back. Everything, including water, had a price tag, unless your flight originated from an international previous flight. During the four hour flight there was no entertainment available, wi fi was expensive, and flight attendants were practically non existent. Water......, a plain bottle of water, cost $2.00! I had to beg for a paltry cup of water that supposedly came with my flight. Fly Dubai is nothing near the service and reputation of Emerites. Other connecting airlines to Nepal are much better."

I paid a lot of money for my business class ticket on Emirates only to have a second flight that was terrible in every way. No one seems to care where my bag may be- I am trekking in 2 days and I have NOTHING to use!! I’ve called every number I can find and emailed fly dubai- each person had shown very little care and not one person can even tell me if my bag left Dallas. Unreal."

It caused a great amount of stress to have to go through immigration, get my luggage, exchange money in order to pay for a taxi to get to the other terminal. I barely made my connection. I was not a happy customer yesterday."

Cons: "Fly Dubai check in at Dubai Airport is run by non-employees. My wife and I waited 1.5 hours in line. The staff helps other customers who are late for their flight cut in front of the line, and therefore make everyone else late for their flight. We finally arrive to the front and are told our flight has been oversold, and that it is full. We asked to be put on another flight and they said the next ones leave tomorrow. We were told we had to go wait in another line to arrange a flight or refund. We waited in that line for almost 1 hour, and the employee gave us an email address written on a post it note, and said if we wanted a refund to email them. Just an awful airline. Some other passengers wanted the flight the next day and Fly Dubai offered them a hotel for the night but said the hotel is full. The airline has an awful check in system, awful customer service, and has yet to offer us a refund, or even reply to the email we sent them six days ago. Regardless of their ticket price I will never fly with this airline ever again."
