Overview of Ural Airlines

Although Ural Airlines has its headquarters in Russia, the company operates flights to many different countries that are placed throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. For those that are planning on taking a trip to Europe, you can choose from destinations like France, Greece, and Italy. When traveling to Asia, some popular choices are Japan, China, and Indonesia.

This company was originally created as a part of Aeroflot in 1943 but has since been separated and treated as its own airline. Additionally, the group has codeshare agreements with many other airlines, including Azerbaijan Airlines, Belavia, and Uzbekistan Airways.

Ural Airlines provides four different travel classes for passengers to choose between: Economy, Economy Plus, Comfort Class, and Business Class. While Economy is a standard option that provides basic snacks and a free carry-on, Economy Plus comes with a seat that has additional legroom. If you will be flying in Comfort Class, you will receive a hot meal and free alcoholic drinks, while if you choose Business Class, you will have a seat that folds into a bed as well as the option of checking free luggage.

This company’s fleet contains almost 50 aircraft, all of which are either Boeing or Airbus. For long-distance flights, the Airbus A321-200 is the plane that is used the most frequently as it can fit over 200 passengers and has a large fuel capacity. For shorter trips, the airline opts to use the Airbus A319-100 due to the fact that it fits 134 passengers and is a smaller choice than the A321.
