Clean, timely, professional.
Check in is a mess. Be ready for a traumatic experience from the unsupportive and rude check in staffs and duty managers at Calicut airport. It’s a chaos and the lines are mostly first in last out, as they don’t care of the passenger well being or the waiting time. They are just concerned of checking in before the boarding call. Personal experience is of standing 2 hours straight just for check in. Flight is ok, food preordered are all the instant ones with hot water mix, which tastes pathetic. Overall, will never take another indigo flight to fly out of india.
Bag check is not as smooth as can be at CST Terminal 2. Passengers are advised to print out and attach boarding passes at home in a bid to avoid crowding at self-service kiosks given the Covid-19 public health crisis. However attendants then say tags need to be re-printed at the counter as the ones provided by the airline at the airport are more secure. While the check-in process is aided by the helpful staff, Indigo Airlines could do a better job of providing more self-service kiosks and clearer guidance during the online purchase process. Suggest calling ahead to confirm situation on the ground.
Pros: I really like the way updates were sent to me on my phone about the whole journey including gaye changes, reminders etc.
Cons: Pretty satisfied
Cons: In Kiwi i couldnt add extra baggage weight. I had to pay extra in the baggage drop in
Pros: Not much.
Cons: We flew to India and back from Turkey. Both flights had 2 stops and both times Indigo said we didn’t have a second flight and wouldn’t give us a second boarding pass meaning we had to go out to the check in both times to get our second boarding pass and both times were very problematic. Also we have a 7+ hour international flight on a very small plane with no free food or drinks. Just not a very good flight experience overall.
Pros: I liked the fact that it was a direct flight
Cons: Little more customer satisfaction
Pros: Seat felt very uncomfortable and as though it was about to break! Very cramped.
Pros: Basically nothing
Cons: They should do announcements properly, and the crew attitude is awful.
Pros: Worth buying an XL seat Liked the rolling ramp better than steps. Buses to terminal were wuick
Cons: Baggage policy for checkin and carryon is too restrictive, too low. Too many email messages sent by IndiGo.
Cons: All good
Cons: Extremely bumpy take off and landing. The pilot could do better.
Cons: The website does not describe baggage allowance clearly as compared to other airlines. It lists “excess baggage weight” but not the 15kg limit. The choice of 15kg as the limit is a BIG problem for international travelers who may be coming for longer stays. Air India has a much friendlier policy for checked and carryon baggage and I would choose it by far. We were charged for every kilo even though prepay options online were not user friendly. 4 thumbs down, way down.
Pros: Did not take the flight as fell sick. Tried working with vayama and Turkish airlines to reschedule this return flight but quoted cost was higher than original price.
Cons: An understanding and accommodation based on medical reasoning.
Cons: The boarding was poorly managed.
Pros: The seat was really bad and the crew didn't make any effort to dim the lights for about 75% of the journey. I would say an international flight on a low-cost carrier like Indigo should be avoided.
Cons: if the cabin crew had been a little more cooperative, this flight could have been better
Gate closed early
Pros: We arrived at the departure gate at 8 am, to be told it was closed for a flight at 8:25 am. We had to purchase a replacement flight 12 hours later. Same airline indigo. Flight 6E6314. Two tickets
Pros: Crew was amazing, & purchased food was extraordinary quality.
Cons: We traveled with a wheelchair person, but they boarded her separately from the rest. That meant she was without anyone she knew for some time. It'd been better to allow @ least 1 person of her people w/ her while she boarded.
Cons: The ground crew in Mumbai let on a very drunk group of men who became more and more problematic. Eventually they had to be removed which let to a further delay to an already delayed flight. Bad
Pros: First flight from Goa to Mumbai was pretty good, I even scored an extra large seat. Boarding was madly chaotic though
Pros: Amazing crew, clean plane and on-time and seamless boarding and arrival.
Cons: Entertainment option via app.
Pros: Flight delay
Cons: Flight delay
Cons: Priority boarding for parents with kids.
Cons: Good airline. Flight was delayed due to weather
Pros: Budget Indian airline so was good. Good crew .Bus on and off tarmac , Basic food and paid for but fine. Good legroom in XL seats and std seemed ok too compared to some Australian airlines .Was on time so thats all that really mattered
Pros: Punctuality and cleanliness.
Cons: No comments.
Pros: Punctuality and cleanliness.
Cons: Boarding process at Hyderabad and disembarkation at Visakhapatnam. At both places bus ride was painful.
Didn't take the plane
Cons: I got sick so I had to leave India. I tried for 5 days in a row to cancel this flight but the cleartrip.com website is just a bad labirinth. You are not able to cancel the flight from mobile( when I was in India), you are not able to access the website from Europe.
Cons: No entertainment very bad seats no blanket when asked for
Pros: Crew was great. Back holder of Seats were loose / broken.
Cons: Connecting Indigo flight was poor as no supply of liquor n beverages. No proper n sufficient food. One cold sandwich was given
Known for being the largest airline in India, IndiGo offers a variety of international flights to countries throughout the world, primarily in Asia and the Middle East. If you are interested in traveling somewhere in Asia, you can choose from destinations like Vietnam, Thailand, and China. If you would rather go somewhere in the Middle East, countries like Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates are popular choices.
In order to keep prices as affordable as possible, this airline only offers Economy seats. With an Economy ticket, you will be able to benefit from amenities like the airline’s in-flight magazine, free non-alcoholic beverages, and the option of bringing a carry-on and personal item with you for free.
For the purpose of offering more flights and diversifying its pre-existing flight paths, IndiGo has made a codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines, a company that is the national flag carrier of Turkey and specializes in flights to Asia, Europe, and Africa.
IndiGo is known for having an incredibly large fleet that is composed of almost 245 planes that are either ATR or Airbus. Out of the many types of planes that are used, the Airbus A320-200 is flown the most frequently, due to its spacious layout and the fact that it can hold up to 180 passengers. For smaller flights, such as domestic voyages, the ATR 72-600 is usually the plane that is chosen, as it fits around 75 passengers and is meant for short-range travels. For standard medium-range flights, you will most commonly see the Airbus A320neo being flown.
