Pros: Crew was great, patient, respectful, responsive

Cons: I had the last seat. No leg room. Unending line to the bathroom the whole 5 hour flight (which meant people constantly hitting me and in my way). Other passengers reclined all the way and now careful of other passengers (I had no decline). Was charged 3200 rbl ~$50 for my light checked backpack

Pros: Moscow VKO is terrible, tons of walking, insane lines everywhere, no space, barely any English signs...

Outrageous charge for the bags

Pros: Nothing much. Space between seats is very tight, no food, no drinks. Personnel was barely gentle.

Cons: The flight was mediocre to say the least, but what really made the trip annoying was the fact that we had to pay $80 per each baggage checked. Hopefully will never have to fly with this airline again!

Pros: Boarding outside, but understandable Orderly boarding, many passengers. Handled difficult passengers quite well.

Cons: Seats very small and almost no leg room. I am of average height and legs directly against seat ahead of myself. Transport from airport not well available in the airport, not the airline problem, but may be well to notify passengers. Probably most passengers know this, but new arrivals do not. Captain and crew mostly only knew Russian.

Cons: Poor service. I was charged €50 for my suitcase due to my "lite" ticket. Overall luggage fee were higher than my round trip ticket.

High Luggage Charges

Cons: I was charged €50 for my suitcase because of the type of ticket bought (lite). I'm expecting to be charged the same amount on my way back. My total luggage fee will be higher than my ticket. No information was provided about the luggage fee when I purchased my ticket.

Pros: I tried to add a checked bag couldn't find anything in the website except how they were expanding their policy to give you more, showed up the first flight and had to pay, the return trip tried to pay online again and not only was there not a link the system wasn't working well and I got to pay more at the airport. Everything else was nice. Friendly service.

Cons: The flight was canceled and connected flight was postponed what increased the layover time from 1 to 7 hours. Moreover, the baggage was not included in the price and no information was anywhere about it. $80 more were charged during check in.

Undisclosed luggage fee

Pros: Decent budget service provided. Paid food, including hot beverages and soft drinks. Most embarrassing was luggage fee 2000 rubles ($33) apiece, discovered at check in, kind of mentioned but totally undisclosed during purchasing, which meant Aeroflot tickets were definitely worth of consideration. Utair website btw have luggadge fee disclosed in contrary to kayak.com

Worst flight ever...

Pros: Leaving the plane

Cons: Everything! If you think that flying Sprit Airlines was bad, wait until you fly UTAir. Worst airline ever. I'd rather walk then fly them again. Lesson learned, next time spend the extra $5 and fly Aeroflot instead.

Pros: Airplane was clean, pilot was good, trip was quite short.

Cons: The fact that luggage is charged separately was stated only at the registration counter, there was no any information or warning about luggage charges during online ticket purchase. So at the airport I had to pay extra 35€ for a 21kg luggage. It's not fear to hide this charge until the last minute.

Cons: When I bought this ticket there was lowest price guarantee. I had to pay 2000 rub each way for luggage. Same tickets were sold on utair website for same price that included luggage! Including 4000 extra rubles I could get Aeroflot tickets! (Which is way better airline)

Not bad, but has drawbacks

Pros: I have taken this flight four times now - and it is normally on schedule, unless the weather is particularly bad. Boarding, take off and landing are exactly as scheduled, which is very good - definitely better than expected.

Cons: Planes are too warm - they keep the heat on the entire flight, and even the overhead A/C doesn't help much. Baggage - it is almost impossible, unless you book business or using a Russian issued credit card on the UTAIR site, to get bags included in your ticket. So you end up having to pay 25 to 30 USD for each bag, at the cashier - so it ends up being a hassle that isn't needed. And the counter personnel are usually not all that friendly... Very little other languages spoken other than Russian.
