Pros: The gate crew made several announcements about face mask requirements.
Cons: Once boarding began, there was no attention paid to distancing guidelines. I never heard anyone being directly reprimanded or corrected for not wearing a mask or not covering their nose while boarding or walking around the cabin. I was very surprised to find out the flight was 100% full. Every seat was filled. I thought airlines were taking precautions to provide space for passengers by leaving some seats empty. I felt very unsafe flying in a 100% full flight where no control for masks was taking place. This was my first time flying during COVID and I had thought airlines were doing more to instill trust in customers to keep customers flying but I will not be flying again until COVID is over as I did not see precautions keeping customers safe.

Pros: The crew was professional in every way,
Cons: There were a couple of individuals with oversized carry-ons that held up boarding as they tried repeatedly to get the carry-ons into the overhead bins. Utilizing a carry-on sizing tool in the gate area would have identified these two oversized carry-ons PRIOR to boarding and could have kept everyone safer. Instead, passengers behind the offenders were waiting while the bags were opened, items removed, and another attempt made at stuffing them into the overhead bins, all while passengers already seated were subjected to even more compromised social distancing in enclosed spaces.

Pros: Service and overall cleanliness etc. was very smooth, good and clean. I sat in seat 1A both ways and as the first person to get on and off the flight found the process well laid out, easy, clean and smooth. I also got to witness the boarding process from inside while seated. Very professional and courteous all the way. The first class cabin was sparsely filled with ample space between us and based on how many people I saw getting on, I think the rear cabin must've been sparsely filled as well. More on the comfort aspect in the "what would have been bettter section" ... in short, the seats are the weakest link in the chain.
Cons: My only gripe is about the seats fitted in first class for this Alaska Air leg (JFKSFO). Like most, my travel frequency has dropped so much that I can finally afford to pay full fare first for the few times I do need to travel. I expect that this will more likely be the norm than not and hope/expect that more among us who can afford to pay extra for the additional comfort, do so. The airline industry will need to keep that segment to get ahead of this seismic shift in travel patterns that 2020 has brought upon all of us. I was hoping to just sleep through it. I normally sleep well/easily on flights (at times, "too well"!) but could not do so on this leg. The seats in first class are just not meant for sleeping and are thus limited in their positioning ... brief napping is the best you can do - carry your entertainment/work or plan on meditating while fully awake. The base is for all intent and purposes, immovable (maybe a couple of inches back and forth at best). There is no concept of a foot rest in the design. The back locks into one of two positions - a vertical one for take-off/landing and a second one tilted about 15 degrees or so. That makes it impossible to stretch the body out while fully supported - so hard to go into relaxed/deep sleep for those who wish to do so. The front passenger seat of a common car offers more for a five hour road trip - something to ponder on, eh? Upgrade the seats ...the extra investment will pay for itself quickly in this age of reduced travel as you'll attract more of those who are lucky to be able to pay a little more to fly in comfort for the few times that they need to. Additionally, sleeping passengers are often the easiest/cheapest to service!

Cons: There should have been refreshments and a light snack offered on the 50 minute flight!

Pros: The flight left on time and arrived early.
Cons: The flight was nearly full. They announced this and said that if anyone was uncomfortable being seated next to someone not in their party (due to COVID concerns) they would book them on the next available flight. At that point, you're really kinda stuck hoping the person your seated next to is taking the proper precautions, but you are not "social distanced" during the flight. I don't consider myself a COVID prude, but I will stick with Southwest Airlines during this pandemic. They are keeping their flights at 2/3 capacity in order to maintain distance among passengers on their flights.

Pros: Really nice attendant in front of cabin.
Cons: The small planes don’t have good overhead compartments and i has fragile stuff in my bag I didn’t want to get harmed with other baggage. They found a place for my bag but it wasn’t what I had expected since I’ve flown with Alaska quite a bit and usually it’s not an issue. Hoping to get my premium seating refunded.

Pros: The crew was amazing but I have to say the seats were very tiny and very uncomfortable.
Cons: The crew was amazing but I have to say the seats were very tiny and very uncomfortable.I guess just start with you would have to give a little bit more room on your seats the seats itself and of course around the seats so we can at least be able to stretch our legs and our backs

Pros: Nothing because there was no social distancing. I did not think that airlines were allowed to completely fill flights and I had no choice once I was boarded.
Cons: Please observe social distancing and DO NOT book completely full flights where seats can’t be left open. Irresponsible and stupid.

Overview of Alaska Airlines
If you will be flying with Alaska Airlines, there are two classes for you to choose from in addition to standard Economy: Premium Class and First Class. Premium Class will offer you several perks, such as extra legroom, complimentary food and drinks, and pre-boarding. For a particularly luxurious trip, opt for First Class, a choice that includes a hot meal, free access to entertainment tablets, and the ability to check two bags for free.
To watch a movie or show during your flight, the airline offers a complimentary app that you can download onto your personal device before take-off in order to save any media that you would like to watch while in the air. During longer flights, travelers have the option of renting a tablet directly from one of the stewards, each of which is equipped with a selection of films, games, podcasts, and access to Wi-Fi. Additionally, you are allowed to use certain messaging applications for free on your cell phone without having to pay for the plane’s Internet.
Although Alaska Airlines flies to over 100 destinations throughout the world, the company’s primary hub can be found in Anchorage, Alaska.
Alaska Airlines has over 6 different planes in its fleet, with a majority of them being either Airbus or Boeing. While the Boeing 737-900ER is known for being able to fit the most passengers and for having the largest First Class area in comparison to the company’s other planes, the Airbus A320-214 can travel the furthest and is commonly used for the airline’s longer flights.
