Cons: "Overall experience turns exceptional great when crew is friendly, understandable & helpful. My overall experience on this flight from CAI-DXB on Emirates was great because of the wonderful crew, on top was their Supervisor/ Adel A.Hamid El-Hareth. On the contrary my decision after an experience with Emirates on board from DXB-LAX, was never to repeat it due to Crew Supervisor, she was British, she was there on board I guess to teach everybody disciplines with a tone !! Someone exceptional to meet once in life but it may bring you to a decision along with other factors not to fly again with Emirates to LAX. Terrible signage, awful experience. Someone should be fired."

Cons: "Almost all the flights I take out of Cairo leave late, not sure if this an airport issue or what but it is very stressful to have boarding go so slowly and to have the plane take off over an hour late. This has now become "the norm". Please make better efforts to leave ON TIME!"

Dubai airport: Endless taxiing from aircraft to terminals, endless shuttle rides between terminals. You feel like a rat scuttling through underground tunnels and dismal byways through a wateland of darkness to be spat out at ugly, uninviting entrances somewhere in the bowels of Dubai International. No signs, no knowledgeable personnel to explain anything to you. No attempt at making travelers feel comfortable, no attempt at making the surroundings look pleasant. Must be the culture. The flight itself has wonderful staff, but the airport makes me not want to fly Emirates again!"

While in DXB, they entice customer to buy all duty free and then when it comes to boarding, you will be 'shocked'. No more than 10kg allowed. 3. You will be directed to read instructions before boarding. Then the corruption deal starts...read point 4 4. The man will say, remove anything in excess of 10kg or pay extra luggage, knowing very well, that people buy duty free at DXB. 5. Once you start negotiating, then the deal-making starts... 6. I purposely chose that seat for leg room and even though business class was empty, they could not provide me with a different seat."

Due to a mistake by an Emirates agents who was processing the visa application in Dubai, it was denied and an immigration head officer came and appologized to me and spoke to her. Emirates did not compensate me at all. They could have granted Emirates lounge access, meals, or simply book me a room at the airport hotel. I ended up sleeping for 14 hours on a chair due to their employee's fault"

Cons: "This is my fourth time booking Emirates for my route through kayak. The route is longer but I choose it for on-board Internet for work emails. Generally, they have on-board WiFi Internet, however for my return route of 21 hours both flights had no wifi which was disappointing. This is unprofessional because if you are planning on having WiFi to respond to work emails and it is not available once you are already in the air there is nothing you could do but get stuck. Never does this happen with Lufthansa, Turkish, Etihad. Disappointing."

Also, some people in this airport don't respect the queue, so you have to pay attention on your place in the line and sometimes, 'fight' for it. My flight had lots of kids, and even asking the parents to control their kids, it didn't happened. During part of my flight I had a child kicking the back of my seat!"

Cons: "Check-in in the Cairo airport: different lines led to large differences in processing time ... our line also processed business class which led to us taking over one hour for check-in (basically being the last one) and having to run through security even when we arrived rather early. No initiative by the check-in attendants to balance between the lines. When they opened two more counters to process check-in they only processed the 'fast' line. Pro tip: avoid the (economy) check-in line next to the business counter. This probably led to the second problem ... they gave us separate seats when traveling with a young child."

Because I refused to pay this exorbitant amount, my wife and I got whatever seats were leftover as assigned by BA's computer. As it was, there computer was all screwed up and we couldn't see our seat assignments or check in online and had to do that at the airport. Cons: "We reserved for passenger in Business class From Dubai to London to Dubai . But From London to Dubai BA offered passenger Economy class the passenger reserved business class but they put him in Economy and the reason they said the flight is over booked. The passenger has heart problem and knee problem we reserved for him in business class to assure he will get the maximum care but in despite of his health conditions and in despite that he reserved in business class they put him in economy class"
