Seats were uncomfortable, non reclining, no neck support, very little legroom. Would not recommend for a red eye flight.
The Spirit flight crew are professionals and friendly and very attentive. Thank you 😊
Had a flight that was canceled and was given a flight cutting one day from my vacation so I could have a 6 hr layover from 1030 pm to 445 am.
Have some sort of beverage service free & snack like other airlines. And allow carry on luggage for free.
When they say no frills airline, they really mean no frills no comfort no legroom no food no water one restroom for the entire plane. If you want to talk about the most miserable ride of your life, you should write spirit airlines because your legs are not designed to sit in front of you you have to sit in an angle the entire flight there will not be enough room to put your legs in front of your seat.
The flight crew talked the entire time! No thank you…I have my own entertainment! They were disinterested, distracted and not friendly. We were over an hour late leaving - waiting on a pilot to get off another flight. Cramped seating, minimal padding in seat (I already paid enough for a seat in general - not paying any more!). Won’t be flying with Spirit again. I’d rather know what I’m getting up front and know my fee, rather than having all the add-on charges to finally get a decent seat.
I was traveling with my daughter. I was able to check myself in online with no problem but was unable to check her in online and get boarding pass. After numerous phone calls with Kayak reps we went to bed not knowing if she even had a ticket. We went to airport super early just in case there was a problem and we were able to check her in and get boarding pass. unfortunately we didnt get to sit together im sure because of the different check in times. Then just to finish my experience off i was in the middle seat in between two very large passengers. We couldnt even put the armrests down. The good.....flight landed 30 minutes sooner than expected
Most uncomfortable aircraft I have ever been on. The ticket may be cheap but when you add up what they charge for everything, you might as well pay for a ticket on an airline that has padded seats that recline and have slightly more room. It was also very frustrating waiting an hour at our destination to get our luggage. it appeared that they did not have enough of help to get it from the plane to the luggage carosel. Our first, and most likely last time we will fly with Spirit.
Trip canceled at last minute! No reason why?
Well the flight was not only delayed but then a gate changed to an entire other terminal happened. So we ended up leaving when we were actually were suppose to already arrive in Orlando.
Be on time. N on a night flight, flight attendants should be quiet not talking during the whole flight where u can hear their whole conversation. Especially, when u are seating in the back of the plane. ☹️☹️😩😩.
it was an excellent trip
Had a good conversation with the flight attendant
You could be better by not canceling my flight. I'm leaving me sit in the airport for 13 hours unacceptable
Their system went down but they failed to alert customers of delays. 2.5 hours of standing in line to check bags.
Spirit it is not a good company. They don’t have any idea what it means costumer services
They over charge on bags even when you pay online. I will never fly with Spirit again!
Flight was cancelled with zero information given. No overhead page. The flight just disappeared off of the status board. I didn’t receive an email that the flight was cancelled until 2 hours after we were supposed to take off.
I like that the flight was on time. Enforcing the mask mandate could have been enforced better. The flight attendant should not have to beg passengers to keep their mask on their faces. I saw the flight attendant pleading with a passenger multiple times to put their make on their face. The passengers who violates the policy repeatedly should have have been detained upon. arrival and received a penalty for their repeated violation of the mandate. Otherwise it becomes a joke!
Low cost flight. The plane had all the passengers waiting on the tarmac for over 2 hours! The offered no food or drink to compensate for the delay. Also, the pilot did not give enough updates on the delay leaving many of the passengers wondering what was going on and when they were actually going to be able to get off the plane.
The flight price was really low. The seats were not that comfortable.
The weather could have been better but spirit handled it like a champ!!!
My flight was supposed to leave at around 8pm and was delayed until around midnight 2 nights in a row and finally cancelled… the third evening it was delayed until around 10:30 and we finally were able to fly out. The single worst flying experience I’ve ever had. They did refund me for my flight but this was the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I will NEVER fly Spirit Airlines again!
Took over 1hr to get off the tarmac late at night doesn’t make any sense. Never dealt with this for this long before on any plane. Terrible coordination. Don’t understand why we can’t use another gate
Spirit needs better seats
No space m, one of the passengers or crew stole my glasses that fell during the flight, I asked the gate attendant to please go in and get them as soon as I got off , she didn’t go in for 10 mins giving some time for these 300$ glasses to go missing. I won’t fly spirit again unless I can help it.
Terrible way of bag checking in. 40lb bag limit is a bad business model for travelers when 50 was from another carrier. 2 lines to pay for excess weight. Long line to pay for it. No guidance from staff as to direct ppl in different loading zones to not block the lanes when boarding.
On board Spirit Airlines flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x46x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Spirit Airlines assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
Spirit Airlines offers direct flights to 90 cities in 17 different countries. Orlando, Baltimore, and Las Vegas are the most popular cities covered by Spirit Airlines.

Airbus is chosen as the preferred manufacturer, making up the entirety of the fleet. The A320 and A321 families of aircraft are used for the majority of services. Unmistakable with any other carrier, the Spirit fleet is painted in a bold yellow design that has been labelled the taxi livery. Check underneath the pilot window to see if the plane you’re traveling on has a name. Some examples include Spirit of the Americas and Spirit of Orlando.
