easy check-in/check-out, free parking (don't mind double parking & surrendering keys), convenient location. walls too thin, can hear neighbors loudly outside the door. didn't mind the city/traffic noise since its, in fact, a city (duh).
The location is good. The bed was comfortable. I had reserved the room for the previous Tuesday night. I am having radiation treatments for breast cancer and drive into the city the night before the treatment. Last Tuesday I woke up with a cold and couldn't have the radiation. My husband called the hotel as soon as the doctor canceled the treatment. He asked if we could move the reservation to the next Tuesday. He was told we could but last night we were charged much more than the cost of the initial reservation. Had we known that in advance, we would found another hotel. I have 5 more treatments but we will not be spending the night at this hotel.
Great location with parking. Friendly staff. Clean.
value if you just want to put your head down at night, room could be updated , looks kinda old fashioned, but it was suitable for what i needed it for. room could be updated , looks kinda old fashioned, but it was suitable for what i needed it for. walls a little thin, could hear showers from the next room right by the headboards, lots of noise coming from the room above us,
The Marina Inn staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful. Our deluxe queen was spacious, clean and very pretty. The location is excellent- close to the water, many reasonably priced delicious restaurants, and boutique shopping. I highly recommend the Marina Inn The included breakfast was very basic. There was sandwich bread (next to a toaster), hard boiled eggs, yogurt, a few bananas and orange juice.
The room was relatively clean. The carpet in the hallway was about 2000 years old. It was extremely dirty that I wanted to throw up. There was no ironing board or iron in the room so if you're here for a meeting that will be a problem. There was no parking so if you rent a car, you will have to drive around and around to find parking. There are other motels and inn within couple blocks and those have parking. There was no thermostat in the room so you can't control temperature in your room. I would go somewhere else if I has known how it was before I came.
The staff was super friendly. The hotel was very clean. The room was a little small but perfect for us. 2 adults, 2kids. We just needed a place to sleep as we were out and about all evening and left early in the morning. I highly reccomend this hotel. About a 15 minute walk to the warf. Nothing. :-)
Location Way too noisy, dated hotel, rooms too small, not enough parking, elevator wouldn't work.
Price was reasonable and room includes fridge and microwave so I saved a lot on food. Staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is very basic.
Nice, clean room. A bit noisy, but better than I expected. Noise.
Relatively quiet and efficient. Since my stay was for an overnight business meeting I was looking for something quiet, clean, and easy. The Lombard Inn fit the bill! Nothing jumped off the page other than they need to spruce up the blankets a bit.
None Poor customer service and lied. I requested a refund, was told by the hotel staff it would be processed, then was charged the full amount. When I called and inquired about the refund, I was later told that "there was nothing he could do" to process the refund his coworker had promised me.
Loved the view of Alcatraz, the GGBridge to the west, parklike setting all around, marinas within an easy walk, on site cafe (separate from hostel kitchen & breakfast), very nice staff. Bathrooms & showers could use an update.
Location and quiet Mattresses are terrible, rooms are tight, bathrooms are so-so.
