Great location, walking distance to Market street, the piers and Chinatown. We had an amazing room, a corner suite with floor to ceiling windows and a balcony with bay view. Lots of natural light, including in the bathroom. Breakfast is a la carte, we got the continental and healthy start options, which were good. Professional staff.
Nothing to point out, one of the best hotels we stayed in during our California trip
free bike rental, close to sights and public transit, staff was friendly and knowledgeable
internet not included, but free to sign up for Marriott rewards to get free internet
Room looked nice. Location of hotel was good.
No coffee making facilities, fridge in room but was full of mini bar products which meant we couldn't use it for our personal items. Also no complimentary water $6 charge. Shower not good. No parking. No WiFi.
There was no free WiFi on the room and I needed to pay aprox $15 for one day internet
A fantastic hotel located perfect for our 3 night stay in San Francisco. Everything was within walking distance , Fisherman’s wharf 15 minutes, Union Square 15 minutes and all other neighbourhoods walkable too. Our room was huge with a view of bay bridge and the financial district. The staff were really friendly and provided us an extra rollaway bed. Free tea/coffee at breakfast time on our room only rate.
Everything was great, can be expensive - so book that non refundable rate if you see a good deal!
Built in 1988, Le Meridien San Francisco is a 24-story high-rise hotel with a business vibe and bay views. Renovated in 2015, Le Meridien San Francisco is a stylish upscale hotel in the Financial District that connects to the Embarcadero Center via a pedestrian bridge. Given its location and facilities, the hotel draws a large number of business travelers, but plenty of couples stay here too.
Situated in the bustle of San Francisco’s Financial District, Le Meridien is in an area that is a hub of boutique shopping, restaurants, theaters, events, and art exhibitions during the week, but on the weekends a quiet and empty part of town. Banks, restaurants, bars, and public transportation are within a seven-minute walk of the hotel on Market Street. Within a longer walking distance of the hotel are Union Square, Chinatown, and the Ferry Building Marketplace. Pier 39 on Fisherman’s Wharf, Alamo Square, Golden Gate Bridge, and Haight-Ashbury are all within a short drive.
Geared toward business travelers, the hotel features 14 meeting spaces, a business center, and free WiFi for SPG members. The hotel’s Bar 33 in the lobby is a popular after-work stop, as is the Park Grill restaurant with American cuisine and courtyard seating. A 24-hour gym is also on-site for a good day or night workout.
Each room at the hotel is designed to envision San Francisco with a city-chic, monochromatic motif. All rooms feature a large 55-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels, well-stocked mini-bars, and other necessities for traveling guests. Upgraded rooms and suite feature furnished balconies overlooking the city, and some offer partial views of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Suites also come with living rooms, while the penthouse has its own dining room and whirlpool tub.
