The beverage cart took the tour way less frequently than on other airlines, effectively leaving you thirsty (wouldn't even go around offering water) or having to make your own trips to the galley."

Interestingly, since all flight attendants were women, about 50% of the flight did listen to them since there were many conservative Arabs onboard from Qatar or Saudi Arabia (i.e., those who are taught not to listen to or respect women). This made for some frustrating sites to witness but it's obviously not the airline's fault. Poor women!"

We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Cons: "The trip was scheduled to depart at 18:30. Arrived Airport around 16:30 to be shocked that the flight was delayed to 01:50 next day (i.e. seven and half hours). The ground staff advised that the flight was rescheduled to the new timing two days before. RJ ground staff claims that they informed all travel agents of the new timing. I verified with my company and the travel agent and they advised that RJ did not contact them at all. The irony is that I am an RJ Royal Plus Gold Frequent flyer member and RJ has all my contacts details and send me emails and messages all the time, but they fail to alert me at such critical and urgent situation. Most annoying that the ground staff did not even apologize for me and the other passengers specially the European old man in a wheelchair. Instead of arriving Amman at a civilized 19:30 we arrived the nest day at 04:00 next morning. Big blunder Royal Jordanian."

Cons: "We suppose to have a hotel in transit, but they lied to us and asked us to pay 130 $ for that hotel which supposed to be free! The hotel is SUPER DIRTY and is not even suitable to animals. Beside tha you have to pay for food which is very limited and very bad taste. After we reserve the hotel, we had to wait 3 hours until the big lazy boy to come over and escort is to the hotel shuttle. Over all, was the worst experience for me and I will NEVER EVER try this airlines again."

Cons: "I used the restroom in the plane before takeoff and the it was absolutely filthy. It was clear it did not receive any attention between flights. I was sitting in the emergency exit row and, during takeoff, the plane made a horrible, howling/whining noise that I've never heard before. Everyone was looking around and fearful. I fly often and this was the kind of noise when you wonder "is this where it all ends?" Not sure if it was the engine just outside or the emergency exit not being fully sealed but it was the first time in a long time that I've been fearful on a plane."

Pros: "When we first booked our trip from New York to Abu Dhabi with a stop-over in Amman our layover was scheduled to last 4.5 hours. This was on the outside of acceptable, but for the price... we booked. After booking the airline made a schedule change which lengthened our layover to 8.5 hours; totally unacceptable... except... we had no choice since between the time of our initial booking till our notification of the scheduling change fares had increased by a good 20% or more. Rebooking simply wasn't a viable option financially. Fortunately, Royal Jordanian took care of us. When we arrived into Amman I asked on of the flight attendants if she knew of any earlier flights we might be able to be put on. She directed us to the Royal Jordanian passenger assistance station. We went there but were told their were no earlier flights... HOWEVER... the young woman at the help desk went above and beyond by issuing us a room voucher for the airport hotel - including a hotel lunch buffet voucher and shuttle service between the terminal and hotel. Furthermore, because we weren't leaving the airport property, we were issues free "layover visas!" This was our second time using Royal Air Jordanian and we will use them again."

Cons: "weather grounded non stop flight... required my finding a hotel for overnight... loss of MSP hotel, and two days rental car, too... costly and not reimbursable because "act of nature"... earliest way to MSP they said was via Nashville w/long layover... then connecting to Delta upon arrival in MSP, checked bag didn't arrive... it was filled w/medical equipment and AC couldn't tell us where it was... Delta bent over backwards to assist... AC was non-commital and not helpful at all... waited for incoming flights at the airport MSP for 8 hours... no bag... finally, Delta gave us vouchers for dinner and put us in a hotel... when it as really Air Canada's fault... etc, etc..."

I didn't get a reminder check-in email when I was flying out and that worried me a bit that there may be something wrong with my reservation. It also irritated me that because I had booked my flight through Kayak and not Air Canada directly I was not able to make any changes to the reservation online - I had to call their reservation phone number (from another country) and be put on hold for 20 minutes (so needless to say it was an expensive phone call)."

Pros: "Staff was really friendly, the flight attendant was even wearing a little witch hat for Halloween, which I really liked. Due to an underbooked flight, we had free choice of seat, because I originally was booked on an aisle seat, I could change to a window seat, that was nice. Since it was a small machine from Toronto to Minneapolis (a little more than 1,5h flight), there was no entertainment system, besides the nice view out of the window. And who likes to start a movie during such a short flight, to not be able to finish it? They also ask you to hand in your carry-on before you enter the plane, because there is not enough space for it inside, which I liked, no wiggeling along the aisle with a little trolley, I just fetched it outside the plane after we landed."
Cons: "Unfortunately, Air Canada didn't serve gluten-free snacks on any of my flights yet (I had good gluten free food though). This is not meant as a negative review, because as an allergic you're usually prepared. It's more a suggestion for gluten-free snacks, peanuts or m&m's work as well as most gummy bears or chocolates :)"

And it was hard to hear which zone they were boarding since the passengers were so noisy. there should've been lanes for the different zones so they could usher us all in orderly. It was a chaotic mess without lanes. There was no entertainment if you didn't download their app onto your electronic device. No snacks were offered either. I didn't pay for a meal but it would've been nice to have some pretzels or something like that. The controls for the lights, and attendant call button were on the hand rest. It was very uncomfortable since it was a raised section, and more than once I turned on the light without meaning to do so. I won't fly Air Canada Rouge ever again, if I can help it."

I paid extra money to get to cali earlier and ended up later than I wouldve if i had gone with the cheaper flight."

Cons: "Old tiny plane, delayed two hours because of what seemed like sheer stupidity. I mean we had to wait an extra 30 mins on top of the regular delay time because they loaded the bags wrong. I had already been traveling over 24 hours due to the time zone differences and this last flight was just intolerable. Certainly it could have been worse, but this was just terrible already."

Cons: "A majority of flights run by Air Canada to the US were delayed. If this had been due to weather, fine, but at least our delay was caused by mechanical malfunction. Our flight was delayed for 5 hours due to multiple different mechanical issues including that the bathroom would not function during the entire flight, the wing flap had issues and the door would not seal correctly. The flight immediately preceding ours to Minneapolis was also delayed by over 4 hours. Surprisingly the flight before that also had a bathroom malfunction that prevented customers from using the bathroom. If this was the exception we could understand, but looking at the history of our flight, it's only on time 23% of the time. The poor customer service people must hate their lives. Something needs to change."
