Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Finally at 10:40 they announced that the flight would be delayed, even though we had figured it out by then. At 11 the flight crew showed up. We finally boarded at 11:30 and we arrived an hour late to our destination. They offered drinks to the 2 people flying "business class" (they were just sitting in the front but amongst the economy class seats) at the very beginning, but then waited to serve everyone else, but as it was late, most people were already sleeping. We arrived an hour late."

One of the flight attendants was rude when we were trying to deal with our child who had vomited. CDG (Charles DeGaulle airport) is poorly laid out and poorly run, in my opinion, starting with the landing of our flight. After waiting over a half an hour after landing to de-board, we were given much information In trying to get to the proper places to check certain baggage items, and we walked up and down and around a whole terminal trying to get to the proper gait. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience at this airport. Thankfully, the flight itself after that horrendous experience was good."

They march you out after already standing in the terminal, since there are no assigned seats (typical low cost). I payed for a assigned seat extra, but still had to wait in line, just the one for priority. Then once you go outside of the terminal, you wait again in the weather until they allow everybody to board at same time (not sure how the whole priority line works, since you only get priority to get out of the building). Seats where very hard and did not recline (something you are not worn about when you buy the ticket). The seats were also so flat your neck hurts if you want to sleep. After 3 hour flight the in the late evening it was not comfortable. No food or drinks, only for purchase . They were the same price as the staff in the terminal, so don't bother buying to take on board. Low cost airline, low cost experience is what you need to expect."

Then when we finally left I was not informed of the 25 hour layover in Morocco and I did not have anything with me for an overnight trip. The airlines did not consider this and refused to allow me to get my luggage. By the time I got to my hotel after being given the run around for 2 hours, all of the stores were closed for me to purchase toiletries and the room had no towels. The meal the hotel offered was not edible and I had to purchase food on my own. I was originally suppose to land in NYC Saturday at 6:30pm, but if all goes as planned I will arrive in NYC Monday morning at 1:30am. The staff with this airline was not helpful, very rude, and one of the staff told me it was my problem that I could not get to the hotel they assigned to me."

There was no sense of security or safety."

Cons: "This was a rough flight. First, Air Maroc at some point rescheduled the flight to some six or seven hours later than when I booked it, without bothering to even send any notice. Apparently according to their terms of service they can just change flight times as they like, and passengers are responsible for somehow figuring it out and dealing with the consequences. Oddly, the original flight time was still posted online even after I learned of the change, so the only indication of the change was the boarding time on my ticket. When I asked for the new itinerary, RAM employees seemed very confused about why I would want to know when I was arriving in New York (which ended up being 1 AM instead of 5 PM). To the airline's credit, they did offer accommodation in Casablanca, if you stood in an hour-long line. However, although I had been flying since 5 AM and not leaving Casa until 10 PM, I was not offered vouchers for breakfast or dinner, but only lunch (at 2 PM). Because I had to leave the airport in Casablanca, I had to go through security half a dozen times, including while boarding, with various harmless things confiscated. The flight was kept extremely dry, and the crew was stingy with water (although tea and coffee were abundant), only offering water twice during a nearly 8 hour flight despite my requests, and doling it out in small cups which they seemed annoyed to refill. The crew was not efficient or fast. The food on Air Maroc is often okay, but this time it was nearly inedible, especially with little to wash it down. It was not the worst flight I've been on, but it was pretty miserable."

They discussed the matter at length behind the first class curtains but it was obvious to many passengers that something was wrong."

It would have been nice if they made a connection announcement or had a staff member to greet the plane knowing several people on the flight had connections to give us and update and which way to head. It is always appreciated when airlines anticipate next move like rebook your flight if you are going to miss a connection and just be there when we arrive with a new boarding pass printed. Little things like that go a long way."

Cons: "At 6:30 am when I checked in at Marrekesh for connecting flight in Casablanca, I was told I could not change seats for later flight to NY, but would have to wait till I arrived in Casablanca. Later, in Casablanca when I asked to change seats so I would have an aisle seat, I was told that I should have done so in Marrakesh. Very frustrating experience!! Also had to go through extra security, checking luggage and body by hand and waiting at doorway for bus for almost an hour with NO explanation by crew as to the reason for the delay! It would have been appropriate as well as comforting to have our questions and concerns acknowledged at that time, but no one addressed or even appologized to the passengers for the hour long delay."

They didn't seem to care that I had purchased after security; they were also throwing out other passenger's 3 oz or smaller liquids. Didn't seem consistent or actually helpful - for example, they didn't confiscate my small liquids or even care about the hot coffee I had added to my travel mug. Plus the guy in front of me didn't have to throw out his large bottle of water (different police checked his bag). I had purchased the bottle intentionally after getting too dehydrated on my flight to Morocco. They serve you two small cups of water. I asked for more and it never came. Again on my flight back, only two cups of water. Didn't feel like arguing with the crew, so I slept and avoided the coffee to prevent getting more dehydrated and then ran to the fountain once we landed."
Cons: "Plane was empty and the clerk checking me in made me check my bag because it was 3 kilos over their small weight limit. It was certainly not heavy enough to be an issue in storing the suitcase in the overhead bin - even if the plane was full. Plus, it didn't cost me anything to check it, so I don't understand why that was necessary. Instead, I had to repack my belongings because I didn't want to risk damage or theft from having to check my bag. The clerk was so stubborn about following the literal rule, but had no idea why. Half way through the flight, I could smell really strong cigarette smoke - but no one was sitting around me. I swear someone was smoking, despite the warning and signs. The crew passed by a few times and didn't notice. It was strong enough that I was getting nauseous by the time we landed."

Cons: "The all male (I'm male, I'm not man hating) crew mostly sat at the back of the plane as we didn't see them much. I think they were simply lazy. The crew went through so fast they didn't seem to care if anyone actually needed anything. The person next to me didn't get headphones and it took a long time to get their attention and when they finally brought them it was 1/2 hour after that. It was a late night flight where I assume you want to get people their drinks/food and let them sleep. It took 2 hours to get served water. The beverage cart followed the meal cart. I'm on crutches and every other flight I've been on with crutches(8 flights) including the one before with Royal Air Maroc I was asked if I needed help and they all attempted to find me a better seat. Nothing from them and when I asked for wheelchair assistance when I arrived in Sao Paulo, he said he would try but he didn't think it would work and I got the feeling that he wasn't going to bother asking. He never followed up and I never got assistance, The crew seemed lazy and as far as I could tell took little pride in their job. Almost no inflight entertainment for a 10 hour flight. There was about 2 or 3 hours of a television show that played shared screens."
