My seat..... No row in front of it.
Crew were excellent. Friendly and professional
Had a TVs show I've been wanting to see, Blackish, which we don't get in the Uk
Choice of films. I've seen a lot of them and the rest were awful
Why do flights always serve chocolate biscuits, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake? Strawberries, carrots and humous, grapes, olives, would make a nice alternative for example.
Hot food boring, tasteless
Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)
Luggage (being handled by Air France in Basel) was first marked as delayed... nothing of the flight was in the end put on the belt and instead dropped off at Lost and Found. Ridiculous service since this was in no way announced to the people waiting for their suitcase.
The in flight entertainment and the pilot being informative about what was going wrong at the Atlanta airport.
The insane process that followed the flight of rebooking - it would have been VERY HELPFUL to have access to the inflight internet so that I could have rebooked my missed connection before we landed in the ATL airport where it was past midnight and there were hardly any staff available for us to talk to and the lines to speak to anyone took literal HOURS to get through.
The food was pretty awful.
My main complaint is the four and a half hour wait at Customs in Atlanta. 4 officials aren't enough to service around a thousand passengers. That meant we missed our connection. While I know it's not the airline's responsibility, it is part of the experience and meant we were exhausted.
The cabin crew were friendly, and came round with a second offer of sandwiches when it was apparent that they had more than they needed.
While my seat was very spacious, this was the result me being sat near the front, where the business class seats had been converted to economy class. While the number of seats had been increased, the positioning of the armrests was rather haphazard, such that me (in the window seat) and the man in the aisle seat had business class width, while the poor lady squeezed in between us had less than a standard economy class width to fit into! Luckily there was a free seat elsewhere, and she changed seats before we took off.
Some payment fees are estimated. Not all providers support all payment methods.
