I had a connection from Istanbul to Frankfurt with Lufthansa . I was disappointed that TK airlines did not allow me to check the luggage through to Frankfurt because the flight was on a different ticket . As an Elite Plus member , I expect better cooperation among the star alliance member airlines . I had to check out and back again , took almost two hours of waiting in lines . Good that on this occasion I had sufficient time and did not miss the LH flight .

There were many seats available on this flight as well as a luggage space, and at the time of departure flight attendant still insisted for me to keep my second bag under the seat. She was stubborn and unreasonable. It was one of those flights that don't depart directly from the gate, you have to take a bus to get to the plane. And we arrived 20 min late. Other than that, it was ok

It was very easy to print boarding pass.

The scanners did not accept my boarding pass. 40% of the passengers had to have boarding passes reprinted. It was chaotic.

Friendly staff good service.

The grill chicken served for dinner was cold.

Comfortable cabin temperature, food was great.

Not sure whether it was because my flight was short haul, but the plane didn't have in-seat entertainment system (i.e. TV screen for movie watching). The first half of my journey was delayed by 1.5 hours, which meant that I had to rush from the gate I landed in (after the lengthy airport bus ride from the plane to the gate) to my departure gate for my connecting flight, which was already on final call. I found out after my journey that TK is apparently notorious for its flight delays.

Start from online checking, baggage dropped and boarding flight is a hidden tradition of high class hospitality experience. My first time ever to use Turkish airlines succeeded my expectations. food is great, the onboard seat is comfortable and the crews they're wonderful.

Quietness and simplicity looks of high quality of crews presentation is a high class professional experience.

I asked the website to change the destination. The reply came 12 hours before the flight. I couldn't wait so i took another flight and paid for another ticket.

Boarding was efficient.

No free food or drink of any kind. That would have been okay since prices were reasonable. However, they completely skipped my row on my side of the plane, and I had to use the call button to get service.

Quick boarding once the plane finally arrived. Planes are new.

Flight was delayed approximately 45 minutes as a result of late arrival of aircraft - surprising since it was a morning flight.. I am 6ft2, leg room is VERY tight. I slept most of the flight so cannot speak to food or entertainment. Watch out for the fees! 5 euro per leg for a seat assignment 60 euro to check bags.

In Stockholm they denied my boarding to Riga and Moscow as they told me that I need Shengen visa. When I was buying ticket I wasn't informed that I need to have Visa. I always travel through Europe with layovers and never have this issue before. I had to buy another ticket straight to Moscow and wait in the airport for 8 hours. I ask to reimburse me half of the price of this ticket.
