Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Cons: "Very very bad."
Pros: "i like the service"
Cons: "water free"
Cons: "Uncomfortable seats"
Cons: "Gate announcement was only a few minutes before cut off!!"
Pros: "It's the cheapest you can get"
Cons: "They split me and my wife on porpuse to force me to buy the option to choose my seating. The leg space is tiny and the chairs won't recline so it's super uncomfortable. Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."
Pros: "Budget friendliness"
Pros: "Overall experience was good. Boarding was fine and onboard crew was nice and helpful."
Cons: "Seats do not recline and there is not a lot of legroom, especially if you are over 180 cm."
Pros: "Extra legroom seats are a godsend (but that's applicable to any airline, not just Wizzair, although they do seem to have a few more of these than other airlines - low cost or not). Also, despite a 35 min. initial delay, we eventually landed only 15 min. later than the scheduled time."
Cons: "The boarding process at Gatwick was disastrous. There were only 2 agents, none of which spoke proper English. Also, one of them was busy checking each individual carry-on bag with unnecessary extra scrutiny, only to provide customers to the second agent, which was taking the payments for extra bags."
Pros: "Ok flight"
Cons: "Comply with departure times"
Pros: "The crew was so helpful and nice"
Cons: "I was happy with everything"
Pros: "Flight arrived"
Cons: "Flight left vaguely late, air stewardess disappeared into the cockpit for 50 minutes. Hmm, I wonder what she was doing in the cockpit. Whatever she was doing she wasn’t helping the cart so I only got my food 20 mins before landing approach. Air pressure was weird too, nice American lady next to me had problems with her ears more than usual."
Cons: "I went up to the check in desk 4 hours prior check since this was a connecting flight.I asked the employee when can I check in,she told me 1 and a half hour prior boarding, when I walked back the same person told me I have to pay 35 euros for not checking in online.I told her that I have been flying for about 20 years but I have never been charged for checking in at the airport and I also told her she should have told me when I asked her hours before. She just ignored me and gave me a shitty attitude at the Frankfurt airport.I was expecting a professional costumer service, like that I'm being used to by other airlines, but it was a total disappointment."
Pros: "Everything was ok"
Cons: "Unconfortable sears. The seats cannot be moved back. The table is too high. I have traveled a lot but never seen tables at this height (above the chest). No entertainment, no wifi, and no food, but that's ok. After all, it's a low cost floght although many other low cost companies have wifi and entertaonments via mobile devices."
Pros: "The price"
Cons: "The borsing from terminal 1 is should be highlight The man in the check in and bording wad not nice at all. He didn't answer any question. They took our hand bag. We couldn't take it to the plan and no one explaon why."
Cons: "You have to inform the customers, that company needs you to have a visa"
Pros: "Late over two hours due to late arrival of the plane and even so they board us for nothing cauosng us to wait withot bathroom sitta etc."
Pros: "Good legroom and comfortable seats"
Pros: "Nothing really"
Cons: "The staff took ages boarding us because they were obsessed with trying to scalp people for exceeding baggage limits. Nothing free aboard, no entertainment, the seats were uncomfortable too."
Cons: "Horrible web/check in experience, 2hour delay. Inexistence of entertainment or comfort. What else can be said ?"
Pros: "Pilot flew well Cup Noodles available to buy"
Cons: "1h+ delayed No information from the staff or crew (only one apology from the pilot) Left waiting in multiple places including outside the aircraft No updates whatsoever on estimated departure and arrival"
Cons: "My husband was seated in row 2 and I was seated in row 29, even though there were many spare seats in blocks of two and three that we could have been sat in; then I was forced to put my carryon luggage in the hold, meaning I had to wait ages at the baggage reclaim on arrival, and was late for my air BnB check in. When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. I was furious!"
Pros: "Mobile app is very good, but just allow you to download boarding pass on PDF version right at the moment of the check in"
Cons: "They didn't let me flight. Even that I did the online check in 24 hours before they didn't send me the boarding pass on PDF format via email. Also there were no way to download it from the mobile app or the website. I was in the airport 2 hours before and they didn't want to print it for me even that I showed all the online check in confirmation. They requested that I pay €35 Euro for the airport print. I submitted a complain and hope to get a credit or refund. Confirmation code: L3QZWB"
Cons: "long time wating in bus to get plane"
Pros: "The staff - friendly, polite,, helpful and a nice uniform! No silly uncomfortable and unsuitable as in some airlines. Reasonably clean. Good price for a glass of wine and pac of dry fruit."
Cons: "Unable to understand tanoi messages - mumbling & too fast. Could not make out most of what staff said including why there was an hour's delay and safety procedures. If i were to bring an oversized and too heavy handluggage on board no doubt I wouldn't get away with it ! However the number of large and heavy bags passengers brought on board last night was ridiculous . It was a real struggle for people to find lockers for.their bags. Some people had quite a few. Delays take off and creates unnecessary chaos. Couldn't understand why I had to pay to check in online, obviously missed that when bookrd. Although I recall reading that it will cost if you check in the airport- so most likely my error. No facility or button to print boarding pass once checked in. No contact us button - I would like to change seat I booked for return but cannot see how to do this on line."
Pros: "Standard service , even was late come almost in time"
Cons: "Was a bit late"
Pros: "Comfortable seats. I chose premium price so no issues at check-in. Staff was fantastic! This was my first WIZZ Air flight. It will not be my last!"
Cons: "Boarding did not provide order as everyone crowded to the front. Needs better lines."
Pros: "Flight left on time"
Cons: "hot on the plane"
Cons: "Priority: advantage only on call. Afterwards no adantage afterwardsroom for hand luggage"
Pros: "Cooperative and kind crew. Excellent service. Pleasant flight, great landing and take off."
Cons: "Checkpoint at katowice the wirst ever seen, personnel with very bad atittude wanting personal cosmetics to fit on stupid plastic bag, the rest wanted to scrap or document my bag to pay extra even I already pay for bring it inside cabin, same before boarding I have my computer backpack and already pay 10 eur for large cabin bag and before boarding they wanted for me to checkin baggage because rule is only backpack even I did explain I already paid large cabin, at end I paid 63 Eur total for my luggage I found completly dissapointed and abusing from many passengersbin the same sittuation, also fly have us inside the plane for more than 30minutes without leaving,"
Cons: "Extra prices. Should have took a better airline and pay more. Came out the same. Make sure you tell guest to check in online or they will. Hangs you $50 to check in at the airport"
Pros: "I was lucky to be seated next to the emergency door so I had a very comfortable seat. Also, the crew was very attentive."
Cons: "The flight departed around half an hour late."
Pros: "Nothing at all"
Cons: "The fact that they have small carry on allowance (free) or with a 7cm difference in width a "large carry on" allowance . To be safe I purchase the extra allowance for large carry on which I paid £19 for on my outward journey. When clearing the check-in gates on my outward journey in London the check Inn clerk informed me that I did not have to pay the large carry on allowance. According to her in my bag but it's been classified as small. On my return journey I decided not to purchase the carry on allowance and I was told that I should have purchase it online instead I had to buy it at the airport at a premium. I won't fly with Wizz Air again."
Pros: "New aircraft"
Cons: "Boarding was horrendous. Flight was late in."
Pros: "Staff aboard the aircraft were very nice and so was the passengers."
Cons: "Bought a ticket two weeks ago to travel to Romania. Didn't have internet to check in, so I went to the airport to check in. When I got there because I was within 3 hours of boarding they had given away my ticket and made me a last priority boarder. I happened to get really lucky otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to fly on a flight I had previously paid for and was on time to."
Pros: "Horrible company never book with them"
Cons: "No hand luggage Normal luggage is the most expensive in the market ! No customer services ! Do ur self a fav and don't book it"
Cons: "Despite long delay, there were no announcements by the staff about the delay until we were already almost 40 minutes past our original departure time. No water or food was distributed to the passengers despite the delay. Delay was not wizzair's fault but there was no customer service to speak off."
Pros: "It was simple, every thing was fast in the airport."
Cons: "Small airplane it was a bit choked."
Pros: "Pleasent staff"
Pros: "Crew were average"
Cons: "Everything was a disaster. Late and very uncomfortable"
Pros: "Good comfi flight with great crew and service"
Cons: "The bus at the landing without a/c and it was hot as hell"
Pros: "Luggage restrictions make people be more aware of space, which turns into less fighting for overhead space and faster boarding."
Cons: "I still struggle with any airline that doesn't give water for free. I also sat in an exit row and no one from the crew even talked to me at all to see if I understood my duties."
Pros: "No water for the passengers, tea should be paid for, full price was not shown before ticket purchase, worse customer service (very rude)."
Cons: "See above"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Preview print passwords"
Pros: "Cheap Quick Easy"
Cons: "Luton Airport needs an upgrade (already underway) Flight was late leaving Luton No food or entertainment provided as such so rated as a neutral 3 stars"
Pros: "I liked that everything ran smoothly for the most part. I'd definitely fly with them again."
Cons: "I didn't realize I had to check-in 3 hours prior to my flight or else I'd have to pay almost 50$ extra for a boarding pass!!! One of the women at the counter was extremely rude about it (while the gentleman was very nice and helpful). There was no entertainment on the plane, but I didn't expect any, but I didn't realize how short the leg room would be... my knees literally were shoved into the seat in front of me the entire fight."
Cons: "No room for feet"
