Cons: Lack of enough trash cans in room (only one small one in WC) and this room in particular had a large column in front of the bathroom sink area making it difficult for getting ready in the mornings.
Pros: Perfect location for tourists
Pros: location&friendly staff
Pros: very good location.nice room
Pros: The service was excellent. Lovely doormen too. And the room was perfectly soundproof in spite of the loud location.
Cons: The shower drainage was somewhat of a problem.
Pros: Very clean and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel is centrally located to the main square and Las Ramblas and the fresh market. It was nice to have easy access to the public transportation & site seeing busses outside the hotel
Cons: I think the breakfast should be included with all rooms or more reasonably priced. We did not eat there as it was $18 euros per person and you could get authentic cuisine just around the corner on las ramblas area for less money
Striking modern hotel, opened in 2006, sited in Barcelona's Plaça Catalunya, 20 metres from Las Ramblas, 50 metres from Passeig de Gracia, and 400 metres from Gaudi's Casa Batllo.
Cons: Could hear neighbor snoring through the wall, no/little natural light
Located 1.8 mi (2.9 km) from the airport, Hotel Sixtytwo Barcelona offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Casa Batllo and Casa Mila. You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and buffet breakfast is available daily. Rooms at this upscale hotel offer flat-screen TVs, minibars, and room service.
Pros: My sister and nephew stayed here in this very comfortable boutique hotel. Very comfortable. Excellent staff. Great rooftop bar / very small pool with beautiful views of the Gothic Quarter and further.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
Pros: Location! Boutique hotel category. Very pleasant service
Located in La Rambla, this luxury hotel is steps from Teatre Poliorama and Las Ramblas. Palau de la Musica Catalana and Gran Teatre del Liceu are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: Great locations, friendly staff, authentic style
Cons: Room was a bit stuffy and air conditioning had a hard time keeping up
Pros: Great location, clean, and friendly staff.
Cons: Only downside was the air conditioning. We had two rooms on different floors and both were very hot even with the AC at the lowest temperature.
Located 1.1 mi (1.7 km) from the airport, Catalonia Portal de l'Angel offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Palau de la Musica Catalana and Barcelona Cathedral. The restaurant is the perfect spot for a bite to eat, and after having fun at the outdoor pool, you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Cons: For me is not a 4 stars hotel.
Windows and bedroom doors are not very well because there is a lot of noise in the night.
Exterior noise and interior noise to. Elevator person from the other bedroom... etc.
The cleaning persons begin cleaning at 7 .30 am. and make a lote of noise whit the doors, closing doors,etc...
Is not possible to sleep until 10 am.
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly.
Location was perfect (next to Sagrada Familia)

You can grab a bite to eat at the coffee shop/café or wind down at the end of the day with a drink from the bar/lounge. Pros: The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in an upscale community near the University. Very close to metro and first stop in new metro line to airport. Views were great from club level.
Cons: The hotel is not to walkable to any tourist attractions.
Pros: Great service and amenities; very nice breakfast buffet
Cons: AncI'll are service for conference room use very efficient but expensive...
Pros: Convenient and excellent service for business meetings/conference
Cons: Not sure of value for business conference meeting expenses. Quite high for incidentals....but service was excellent !
Pros: We loved the friendliness of the staff! The hotel lobby is super luxurious and beautiful; the bar is especially stunning and has quite a crowd in the evening time!
Pros: Bathtub was lovely.
Cons: Carpet was threadbare in the room, hard as a rock. Bed was hard and uncomfortable, sheets were rough. The only dinner option in the whole hotel was to eat on the carpet in the middle of the lobby. The windows don't open, no fresh air anywhere. Shower had no space and no light. Couldn't wait to check out, would never stay again or recommend to anyone.
Pros: The staff is incredibly attentive and polite.
Cons: What a disappointing stay. The only five stars this hotel can claim are the ones that are printed everywhere by the hotel itself.
The lobby and the gym are the only two things worthy of attention.
The rooms are small, dark, rundown and begging for a complete renovation. Since the year of built this hotel has not been updated. The heavy and old decor needs to be completely replaced and the rooms require deep cleaning. The beds are hard as a rock and you can hear the mattress springs squick when you turn around. The pillows are uncomfortable and they still use woolen blankets instead of comforters. There are almost no amenities in the room. Not even a spoon or complimentary water. The towels are old a rough on the skin. The showers leeks water everywhere because of its poor design. The phones don't have a directory and they don't provide a phone list [how are you suppose to operate the phone?!?].
The wardrobe opens in the entrance and blocks the way out. There are almost no outlets in the room not even near the desk to the bed. The hotels does not provide any plug adaptor, only for purchase... Can you believe this?
The Hotel had just been purchased by Fairmont Group. They are promising significant changes, however I will probably wait to see other customer's feedback before giving this place a try.
Room Tip: Ask for an updated room. It makes night and day.
Pros: The hotel is very big and has all the facilities
Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated and the beds are not comfortable for a 5 star hotel
Pros: Beautiful location, professional staff.
Cons: Run down. Faded glory from the 90s. Bed was as hard as a rock.

Pros: Hotel indigo was great, the rooms were very modern and clean, and the location was central to Barcelona. The hotel staff was excellent and very helpful I would definitely recommend staying here to friends. It was also an excellent value for the money.
Pros: Location is great. Service exemplary. Good price point.

Take for instance our Gaudí-inspired lobby and guest room murals and the patterned fabrics and artwork that showcase our community’s history. Outside our doors it’s a short walk to the Gaudí original—Casa Batlló—as well as the cafes and street performers of La Rambla the Temple de la Sagrada Familia and countless shops and boutiques. At DOQ Barcelona Restaurant & Bar try our chef’s locally inspired traditional Spanish fare and after a day of exploring our poolside terrace and bar are perfect places to soak up the atmosphere over a glass of local cava.
Pros: Loved the rooftop pool with bar service, beautiful decor, comfy room, atttentive staff
Pros: Great location. Allowed us to check in early at 10:00am when we arrived early. Close to the mall and subway connections, tucked away on a quiet little street with little traffic or noise. Room was clean and included everything we needed. We had a room with a terrace, which was very nice. Front desk people were all very helpful and friendly.
Pros: Staffs are generally kind and specially location is excellent which is near the Espanya subway station.
Cons: BF is too expensive, 18euro/p. Local Call inside Barcelona from room is also too expensive, it costs 12Euro/4min.
At our hotel, you can enjoy unique experiences designed by our team of specialists to ensure that you have an unforgettable and exclusive stay in Barcelona. The rooms at the Ofelias Hotel combine simple elegance with impeccable decor designed by the interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, making your stay in the Catalan capital a magical one.
Cons: This place was legitimately disgusting--carpets stained and torn up, dirty sheets, a bloody towel, dark dire environment and entirely nondescript setting. Unhelpful and unresponsive staff too. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and nice. The room was clean and modern. The location was walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Pros: Very clean, great staff. Location is good but I used metro to go to the Ramblas instead of 25 minute walk!
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, when we couldn't print using the Internet station they quickly accommodated us by printing for us. The staff spoke multiple languages and helped us figure out where to get tapas and how to get around.
I stayed in two different rooms in the space of a week and showed are nice, one had a very modern three mode shower.
The wifi was free, quick and I didn't experience any dead zones in the two rooms I stayed in.
It's located about a hour walk (at casual pace) from the Camp Nou, a bus to the Camp Nou passes directly outside and it's across the street from a Barcelona City tours stop. There are tons of restaurants and shopping within 30mins walk any direction.
Cons: The elevators are tiny! They hold about 5 adults and barely 3 with luggage.
The printer/Internet kiosks are old, slow and a bit unreliable.
The breakfast was just OK.
We had A/C problems in one of the rooms from the first day and it was never *really* fixed.
The showers don't have in lights, they get a decent amount of light from the rest of the bathroom but they are enclosed so it's a bit murky.

Cons: Overpriced for what you get. Staff was friendly and room was clean but that's not saying much.
Pros: I like that is located very near the beach and some of the most touristy places in Barcelona. There is plenty of restaurants near by. The staff was very professional and accommodated me earlier then the usual check in time.
Pros: It's clean hotel and I like the bed bellow and the mattres
Cons: I don't like the staff they are really not friendly make you feel like you are not welcome.
Pros: The hotel is ideally situated at the bottom of the main road leading to all the shops and city centre. You can walk to most attractions and the night life is amazing.
The bathroom in my room was amazing too with luxury bath and shower. The hotel staff are very friendly and will help you with anything. I would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Take some teabags as you only get 2 per night with powdered milk. Breakfast was extra for my stay and eating out is a lot cheater than the hotels food. But the hotels food is excellent as a last resort.
Just minor issues, other than those I have no real complaints at all about the hotel as it was amazing.
Pros: Great location, 10 minutes walking distance to La Rambla for dining and shopping. The hop on hop off bus stop is a block from the hotel for easy site seeing. We came from the cruise ship port and the taxi fare was only $11 Euros.
The hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The room we had was a large suite with a separate living area. The room was modern, clean, with a comfortable bed and very well appointed.
I would hesitate to staying here again on our next trip to Barcelona.
Pros: Nice, well furnished rooms. Good bathroom.
Cons: Choose this hotel partly because it was announced to have a roof top pool. Now it turned out the pool is about 5x3 m and less than a meter deep. Disappointed about this!
Pros: The greeting upon arrival at the hotel was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly, and the room itself was very clean and comfortable, if small.
The location is good. Access to the centre of town is via a very pleasant walk up Las Ramblas. It is also an equally pleasant walk along the promenade which is just next to the hotel.
Cons: All the rooms have kettles. Upon plugging in said kettle I received quite an alarming electric shock followed by a loud bang, sparks and smoke coming from the plug socket and a consequent power cut in the room.
Whilst I accept these things happen as electrical appliances get older and need replacing, what alarmed me was the total lack of concern on behalf of the staff when I notified them that of what had happened, and of the fact that I had actually been electrocuted in their hotel room. In fact their only response was to send up a handyman to replace the kettle and reset the fuse. I mentioned what had happened twice at the reception desk and quite frankly other than showing some slight surprise they couldn't seem to care less.
Another disappointing factor was the view. Many of the reviews, and indeed the website boast a fantastic panoramic view of the Barcelona skyline, whilst in reality the view, even from the 8th floor, consists of a massive pylon (which sits directly in front of the hotel) and an average vantage point of the Barcelona skyline at best.
Pros: It was clean and the room was relatively large for a European hotel. I liked the band in the lobby lounge
Cons: the bathroom tub was leaking. when you turned on the shower, it would spray water all over the room.

Pros: The decor, room lighting, comfortable bed, plentiful seating, friendly and helpful staff, free Wi-Fi, cleanliness, rooftop deck, location.
Cons: Our visit coincided with a festival which caused the price of our second night to more than double.
Pros: The pillows and the bed were very comfortable.
Cons: Climate control -- the air conditioning was off and not centralized to each room, it was quite warm (and stuffy) in the hotel and my room.
Located in Diagonal Mar i el Front Maritim del Poblenou, this hotel is 0.5 mi (0.8 km) from Parc del Forum and within 3 mi (5 km) of Sagrada Familia and Palau de la Musica Catalana. Casa Batllo and Mar Bella Beach are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Cons: Staff for the most part was either rude or uninformed
A 5-minute walk from Las Ramblas, this trendy hotel places guests in the Ciutat Vella district. The Gothic Quarter is within walking distance, and it’s a 7-minute drive to Barceloneta Beach. Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia and the Picasso Museum are a 10-minute taxi ride and 15-minute walk respectively.
Cons: Don't pre-pay. They can never figure it out. They always try to charge you again when you are checking out. The first time when I didn't know they have this issue and my company pre-paid they even managed to convince me to pay again on check-out. I never got my money back either.
Pros: Location - close to cruise port, Port Vell, La Rambla. Super helpful staff. Generally comfortable.
Cons: Shower panel too short allowing water to spill into bathroom. Need maintenance because of spills. Not enough storage for luggage.
Hotel Grums Barcelona is a 10-minute walk from Las Ramblas and a few blocks from historic Port Vell. Guests can walk 10 minutes to the maze-like streets of the Gothic Quarter, and 30 minutes to the wide green spaces and sweeping views of Barcelona at Parc de Montjuïc.

Pros: My room was in front of the beach so I had a great view and everything was in silence.
Cons: The Internet conextion.

The outdoor swimming pool boasts a beautiful view overlooking the city of Barcelona, and The Suite Bar, is known for its fine Mediterranean cuisine. The AC Hotel Barcelona Forum is also one of Barcelona's best hotels for conference and seminar holding with its multiple spacious and well-equipped rooms designed to host a variety of events.
