Staff and flight was really great. Everything went smoothly and on schedule. The plane was clean.
The seating was almost unbearable. So small and cramped. Arm rest didn’t go all the way up so very hard to cuddle with my seat mate (my daughter). I couldn’t even put my arms by my side without pushing my seat neighbors off. Seat in front of me was in my lap. Hard to get out of seat to use restroom. Way to tight. Long flight from Boston to Zurich was so hard to bear. I understand making money...but this is ridiculous!!

The seats were spacious. I loved the options for viewing, klistening, etc on the tablets attached to the seat in front of me. Great service from the flight attendants. Lots of food service & drinks. Thankful for sitting close to first class.
I would have preferred an aisle seat. Difficult to get out of the rows without everyone having to get up.

Food, service and free movies and amenities was like old times.
In both 10 hour trips to and from US to Turkey my seats were broken and didn’t recline, which made for an uncomfortable trip.
In Business Class, the seats did not recline all the way to become flat. Other airlines (including Qatar and Etihad) have seats which become flatbeds even in 3 hour long flights. Very disappointed that Turkish does not have that options from IST to ISB. The boarding experience from IAD-IST was excellent...but it was the opposite from IST-ISB.
The flight crew was amazing- very pleasant and hospitable. There was great entertainment available which made the flight go quickly. The food was good. We did not realize we had to select vegetarian ahead of time, but having cheese sandwiches available made that easier. The small bag of toiletries that we were given was a very nice surprise.
Carrying luggage down stairs after the flight was difficult but the flight team was helpful.
Check in was brilliant. The incoming flight was half an hour early so they wanted to leave half hour early too. We were clearly instructed to be available at gate accordingly. Fabulous breakfast service in Business class too. Pre-order and indicate preferred time of service or to skip altogether so each customer got their required rest.

Nothing. I was 2 hours early for the flight - it was over sold. They never apologized, they just told me "I didn't have a seat" like it was some how my fault... then sent me to the airport hotel and put me on the next days flight. I realize it wasn't the people at the desks fault and nobody was doing this TO me, but it was just stupid it happened at all. I don't get how they can just screw a whole day for a group of people and not even say "sorry."
They over sold the flight. Eight of us had tickets - I bought mine over a month ago - and they just sold too many seats or had too small of a plane or something. I've NEVER had this happen in 6 years of traveling continually. It's on my short list now of airlines that really just don't care.
Our ticket was canceled apparently due to an error by the airline. Very unhappy about that. The airline couldn't care less.

My seats headphone connection did not work. I had to hold it and wiggle it around if I wanted to listen to anything.

Seats are extremely small. And when the seat in front reclines they are basically in your lap.
Everything was as or better than expected. Did not have high expectations, because price was so much less than other airlines. Crew was friendly. Was pleasantly surprised all was good. Was expecting extra fees, (from reading reviews) but had none. Virgin checked bags all the way through, even though tickets were unrelated (and my online checkin said I would have to recheck baggage for second flight).
Seats are small in economy. I was lucky it was not a full flight, so I had two seats. The entertainment system was a. It confusing to manage, but the choices were good. Food was ok; but not worse than would expect.

The plane was very uncomfortable. The seats were small, you felt on top of the person next to you, and there was no leg room. I am a pretty small person- I can't image how uncomfortable all of the taller passengers must have been.

This Delta flight did not have seat back screens to watch in flight entertainment. You needed to use your smartphone or tablet keeping in mind Amazon tablets won’t work. You needed to go to delta website and choose what want to watch the you needed to have Gogo Flight entertainment app already on smartphone and then would work. Not easy even for me a vivid user of tablets and smartphones. The seats had miniumal room available between seats it felt like I am on 5’qq so couldn’t imagine anyone taller that comfortable unless get first class. I even upgraded for “comfort” section which gave you a few inches extra. And wdith of chair me being a 36 waist was a little squeezed in. Crew was very good tho I will say that. But I laways fly JetBlue or Virgin America, or Alaskan Air for reason of more comfort and lower prices ticket but this time on flight close to my destination was Delta which I Flew for free, I would much rather buy ticket on the three others I fly if could have.

There was an empty seat next to me. Sat near the back & it was still a pleasant flight with sufficient room in my seat. Served food & drinks with no charge.
I will fly Lufthansa every chance I get.

Though our flight got delayed, we arrived almost on time.
Because the flight was delayed, boarding seemed a bit chaotic. Everybody tried to board at the same time. The seat had technical issues - it would either recline or be upright. The crew had to spend quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to return from a flat bed to the upright position. Entertainment was re-booted 3-4 times during the flight to get it to work consistently.
They magically appeared with water when I got thirsty and were all great. Veg entree from Hiltl good but a little surprising. Baked apple slices on top of mac & cheese? Sure, why not.? And 2 chocolate bars this flight!
Again could not check in online., or at self-serve kiosk at airport. General complaint to all airlines: You can do better with boarding efficiency.

Chech in was poor - didn’t have priority stickers for business class luggage. Had to go to different counter for hotel voucher. Overall not good and professional Didn’t have ice on the plane ( for drinks, water etc)

Touch screens didn't work very well.
I contacted Turkish Airlines 4x times before my flight to learn how to deal with excess medical baggage, mobility assistance, and meal assistance. The Customer Call Center claimed to have made all of my necessary reservation updates for all of my special meal, medical, and mobility assistance needs. They did not! When I arrived at Check-In, there were no notes about any of my requests, nor services prepared to facilitate them. I spent over 30-45 minutes escalating the situation to the Shift Manager who had to contact the central call center and her own manager, just to find out what to do about medical baggage, what's permitted, etc. I was embarrassed for their employees, who not only didn't know their own company policy on the matter, nor were they aware of the industry standard. After much arguing, yelling and threats, the Check-In desk agents finally allowed my excess medical baggage and equipment without extra charge. I still received no mobility assistance to begin my travel after Check-In to my departure gate, nor were they prepared to offer this to me in Istanbul. Again, after a long wait, much yelling, screaming, and arguing, I was finally provided mobility assistance just in time for my flight. I almost missed my flight due to Turkish Airlines not putting my request in the system, nor caring enough about the traveler to do so at Check-In. When I arrived in Belgrade, 3x pieces of my luggage were destroyed and unusable again, medical equipment was damaged, and I filed a claim with Turkish Airlines. They tried every way possible not to pay, but finally offered a meager claim, nothing close to what it cost for the damage caused or to repair or replacement the destroyed luggage or medical equipment. Turkish Airlines is the Grey Hound of travel, sure they might be large, offer many itineraries and frequent travel, but their quality, customer service and professionalism leave them amongst the bottom feeders, still 3rd world in mentality, form and function. No honor, no integrity, no class. No reason to ever fly with Turkish again, and I'm happy to tell everyone I know not to fly with them!

I had only 70 minutes transfer time and had to spend almost all of that time standing in line to go through security after just arriving from another flight!! I ran to the gate and was the last person through before it closed. I asked about my two bags and was told they were accounted for. Hardly believing it but glad to at least have made it I boarded. When I arrived in Zurich, sure enough my bags arrived too! Was very pleasantly surprised!
Though no fault of Turkish Airlines, having to go through security after just getting off one flight was stressful even if it might have been necessary. Almost missed my flight. The security area is not properly designed for accomodating many people at one time and the officials (actually two cleaning personnel) who did not speak anything but Turkish were manning the entrance. Even when I showed them my boarding pass they just rudely shooed me away!

I paid €60 extra to sit in the emergency door seat to get more leg room but once.i was in the plane learned for more leg room I accepted a smaller seat next to a bathroom and no entertainment. I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade"
