Pros: Hotel was located well. Within steps of Brandenburg Gate, the US Embassy, French Embassy and Metro station. Five minute walk to the Reichstag. Hotel has an old world charm and elegance. Rooms are spacious and beautiful with dark wood accents. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, from the doorman to the concierge to the check-in receptionist.
Cons: Not much to dislike. This hotel is the go-to hotel for royalty (Queen of England) and the President of the US. It is priced accordingly, so be willing to splurge if you stay here.
Pros: Friendly service and great location.
Cons: Uncomfortable beds, especially for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is very over priced and mediocre.
Pros: Kayak provided me with an amazing deal to stay at the Adlon Hotel! The room was spectacular: clean with awesome features
Like temperature control, super comfortable beds (the most comfy beds I've ever had in a hotel). Breakfast was included...a stunning breakfast buffet including luxury features like Caviar...as well as champagne, Asian fried rice...a lovely buffet!!
Our stay at the Adlon was unforgettable and I'm already looking forward to returning there one day!
Cons: The Adlon hotel is a pricey hotel. Even the prices at the bar reflect that! Nevertheless an awesome place to stay if one likes luxury, cleanliness, and extreme friendly attentiveness from the staff!
Pros: Location and helpfulness of consigiere services...landmark and historic hotel
Pros: Attention to detail. The daily brunch (included in my reservation) was spectacular - the food was not only plentiful but also delicious. On my birthday, I was served champagne with breakfast.
Staff. Each staff member was courteous, helpful and most importantly, dedicated to service. If they did not know the answer, they would find it for you.
Spa. After my conference I booked a day at the spa - the massage and facial therapists were professional, most capable, and pleasant to spend time with.
Food. The onsite restaurants had expectional cuisine and the service was equally matched.
Cons: I was a guest at the hotel for 5 days/4 nights. My mini-bar was not restocked for 2 days.
There were no washcloths (which Americans use); however I was able to obtain them from the spa.
Each day you had to create a new WiFi password.
Pros: It's truly a 5 star hotel, it makes your life better!
Cons: The Bar (itself) in the lobby couldev been fancier, the hotel has
A gorgeous lobby but the Bar is just ok. Ritz Carlton has a nicer bar(americain)

An easy stroll from the Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof leads to the shops along Kurfürstendamm or to the KaDeWe department store. You can also visit the Berlin Zoo just opposite. Then again, why go outside when so much is happening right here in the hotel? No fewer than 18 meeting rooms are available for seminars and conferences.
Pros: We travel with a kid then we enjoy the swimming pool. Also for this reason the hotel gave us a room upgrade because in Berlin kids for 2 years do not pay but the business suite was small for the 3 of us. The location is excelent and the service also
Pros: Great room, very helpful staff allowed us to check in early, simple & quick WiFi
Pros: Excellent staff, wonderful room; they upgraded us to a suite at no cost and a free breakfast too!
Cons: It sure is not a five star hotel. Lots of noise from the street and you need to walk forever to get to your room.
Pros: The loccation is the best! The staff was very helpful and the hotel was neat and clean.
Cons: The room is clean and nice but is not a five stars hotel room, neither the space nor the facilities. The metress is not a luxury hotel metress.
Pros: Very good location. Near public transport and nice spa in hotel
Cons: No early check in options (required me to upgrade to a more expensive room)
Pros: Size of room was generous (Business Deluxe). Wifi worked well. Bathroom was splendid.
Cons: Room was hot. AC was not available in October. Windows only open up a crack. Street noise when they are open is annoying. Location is kind of out of the way now that Berlin is reunified. Hot tub is just pool temperature. TV reception dreadful.
Cons: Room service was mediocre. Exhorbitant price for extremely tiny portions. I am used to expensive meals at high-end hotels but the portions were laughable.
Good city hotel with good staff
Pros: Large room and great swimming pool.
Cons: Need two arm chairs in room instead of one sofa
Located in West Berlin, this modern hotel is next door to the Europa Centre shopping complex and within just 500 metres of the bustling and cosmopolitan Kurfürstendamm.
Pros: Gorgeous decor and incredibly friendly and helpful staff - they were so good to us! We arrived well before the check in time started and they were still able to get us settled in to our room within minutes.
Cons: For some reason, we were put in a room with two single beds? But honestly, we were so jet lagged it didn't really matter. The beds were VERY comfortable as well.
Pros: Great value for my money and nice facilities.

Pros: Great breakfast, not too much and definitely not too little.
Cons: A omelette would be appricated at breakfast
We didn't liked the room functionality:
- the closet and bathroom door is shared
- no stand for the luggage
- Streaming Netflix to the TV could be a great addition
Pros: Location, cleanliness . Minimalistic way to make people feel comfortale
Cons: The breakfast could be richer an varied
Located in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, this hotel is within a 15-minute walk of The Story of Berlin, Berlin Zoo, and Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag Building are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Pros: Hotel staff helped me out making an international call and were very polite
Cons: Nothing it was perfect

Pros: Close to a metro system and also close to the bus that takes you to the train station in less then 20 mins. Overall, great location. Also the hotel itself is pretty neat, the room has high ceilings and comfy bed. Friendly staff.
Cons: We reserved a room for three. The hotel added an extra bed to the room which was terrible (squeaking and extremely not comfortable). We asked them to change the bed, but things did not improve. The room is very small and the walls of the bathroom are somewhat transparent. This does not fit 3 people. We cannot recommend this hotel. At least not for more than 2 people.
Pros: Good hotel, new, modern, well run. Good breakfast, good internet, comfortable rooms.
Cons: Local area is dull and empty, but there's an S-Bahn station directly opposite, so local transport is relatively easy. Also an U-Bahn not too far away.
Pros: Great Service
In Mitte, Berlin's historical center, this hotel is within 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometers) of Potsdamer Platz and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum. Gendarmenmarkt and Brandenburg Gate are within 0.9 miles (1.4 kilometers).
All they did to try to make the room 4 stars is add some fancy carpeting and update the bathroom. The TV also has a very nice touch. In short, the lobby and bar are 4 star quality but the rooms do not portray the same. I stayed in this hotel due to reading online and people suggesting to stay in Mitte because of its central location. They were right, but there is still nothing nearby except if you take the train.
Pros: -Awesome lobby and bar/restaurant -Subway is right across the street
Cons: -Absolutely nothing nearby (except by train) -Lobby is 4 stars, my room was tiny and cramped and didn't give me a 4 star vibe at all. -Air conditioning didn't really work
Overpaid, even for a '4 star' hotel when in all actuality it should be more like a 1 1/2 star hotel. Would not recommend this hotel for the price they charge.
Pros: Not a lot. Quite disappointed actually.
Cons: Most things.

Pros: The internet should be improved as one had to log into wifi again and again several times a day, even if you had not left the hotel.
The booking did not come through for 48 hours.
The hotel is conveniently located in Berlin, has comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast, with vegan options.
Pros: Standards of finish and cleanliness exceptionally high. Nice rooms - well equipped.
Cons: Whilst the bar staff were nice, they were unable to mix cocktails! The Negroni cocktail is made of one part gin, one part vermouth rosso, and one part Campari, garnished with orange peel. It is considered an apéritif.
Pros: Everything we wanted to visit was either in walking distance or we had good access to transport. I found the hotel very quiet and all the facilities were clean. We found the staff very nice, however sometime felt they didn't always understand us properly, but this may have been as we didn't speak English.
Cons: As I didn't like to have my room cleaned every day on two occasions we put the do not disturb sign on the door as we knew we would be returning to the hotel a few times during the day, this lead to a notice on the door on the second occasion, we felt this rude as it made us feel we were breaking some rules by not letting the maids in for a day. I also found the pillows quiet uncomfortable but did not feel like it would be okay to ask for more.
Located in Mitte, this luxury hotel is within a 10-minute walk of German Historical Museum, Gendarmenmarkt, and Galeries Lafayette. Berlin Cathedral and Museum Island are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and their smiling reaction to any request.
Pros: Location was amazing.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning, though I gather that's usual for Germany.
Pros: We loved the hotel...great location, beautiful decor, comfortable and clean, plus the Aqua Dom view was outstanding! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat (and we will be back!)
Located in the historic Mitte neighborhood, this Berlin hotel is on the banks of the River Spree and close to Berlin Cathedral, Alexanderplatz Square, and Museum Island, not to mention the metro station for those wishing to explore farther.
Pros: The location is great, my room was spacious with a nice bathroom over the kudam. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The location of the hotel is great and very friendly professional staff
Swissotel Berlin is an elegant and modern hotel in the heart of Berlin, located on Germany's most famous shopping boulevard the Kurfuerstendamm. Swissotel Berlin features a contemporary design combined with traditional Swiss hospitality. The hotel is lessthan 10 km from Tegel airport, 4 km from Messe Berlin, art galleries and museums, and close to renowned Berlin attractions including the Memorial Church as well as Europe's largest department store KaDeWe.
Pros: Loved the breakfast. Parking garage is under the hotel at €17 a day. Everything was clean, modern, and spacious. Public transportation is right outside. A short walk from the Europasportpark.
Cons: Wi-Fi limited to 2 devices peer room, and once we tried to logout one and login a third device, none of our devices could connect. Extremely disappointing especially when everything else was so great.
Pros: Location - even far from the center, stands just next to the sBhan that gives you a lot of immediate options for travel
The are very convinient and modern
Very good breakfast !!
Restaurant - good one at the entrance floor
Late night Bar- until 02:00 am and convinient to the visitor instead of going far sometimes.
Cons: The distance - sometimes not allow you to make a short visit in the hotel during the day, even with the S/U Bahn
Conferences - sometimes big one can be cozy.., but you are out anyway
Pros: The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable: bathrooms were great, beds comfy. The selection of food for breakfast was superb.
Cons: Whilst the hotel was very close to the S Bahn station and tram, I felt it wasn't an ideal location to stay on a weekend break as there is not much in the immediate vicinity.
Pros: The hotel has a lot of amenities the rooms are super comfortable and it's very modern. Also the S station is right across the street. Their 14th floor bar and lounge is great too.
Cons: The shower let's the water out into the bathroom floor not a big deal but it can be annoying. Most of the tourist venues and restaurants are a little far
Pros: the hotel and the room are both great for the price. new bathroom, nice amenities, ac that works (a rarity in berlin), good bed, free wifi, decent gym, and a great hotel restaurant -- with a chef who has a Michelin star.
Cons: The only real downside is the neighborhood. I enjoy exploring a new neighborhood so I tried this out..turns out it's not a neighborhood, it's an intersection -- and one without awesome access to other better neighborhoods. So that's the downside, and it's a big one since Berlin has a bunch of great areas to try.
Pros: They have an excellent breakfast selection, always replenished. Breads, pastries, meats, fish, cheeses, eggs, fruit, yogurt, waffles, cereals, a variety of juices. The concierge does a great job. The showers and soaking tub are luxurious. The Skybar is attractive. The rooms are very modern with artful lighting.
Cons: I've stayed twice. While some might find it a little distance from the central city, it's right on a tram and a train line. This gives easy access. The area has a variety of interesting points.
Pros: Super clean and modern. Extremely friendly staff that spoke fluent English.
Pros: The room was extremely quiet, and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: There is a lot of construction on the trams immediately in front of the hotel, which means they cannot be used.
The free breakfast buffet is served at Restaurant Delight, while Oscar's showcases a variety of cuisines including Mediterranean, French, Mexican and Pacific Rim. On the 12th floor, SKY.KITCHEN by a.choice Restaurant and Bar features innovative interpretations of German dishes by star chef Alexander Koppe. At SKYBAR, cocktail classics meet Berlin style. Try hip new creations from the mixology scene, or enjoy champagne and a wide selection of exquisite spirits.
Pros: The room is small. i got several bruises on my knee because it was so easy to hit on something when i walked through the room. but with the price and location, i think it is reasonable. it is clean and everything else is good.
Generator Berlin Mitte features a nightclub and puts you within a 15-minute walk of Museum Island and DDR Museum. You can relax with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. Other highlights include a snack bar/deli, and rooms offer premium bedding and free WiFi.
Pros: Location is great and view from room overlooking Gendarmenmarkt is fabulous and almost worth the price
Cons: Expensive and restaurants are not that great
Pros: We had a great time at this hotel. The location is perfect and you can walk to a lot of different sites and the public transportation is really close, literally out the front door to get to one of the lines. The room was really quiet also. The bar was by far the best experience. We closed the Listo bar several nights during our stay and had a great time with the bartenders Jannick and Ole and the other bar staff as well.
Pros: Clean , reception decoration , nice staff , so many TV channels , real good curtains reflecting the sun very good.
Cons: No water to drink in the room
Separated beds for a couples
No one answering the phone in the reception for many times
The rooms are so small
WiFi isn't free
In they end , it's very normal 4 stars hotel nothing to impress.
Pros: Great hotel, there are no complaints but it would be perfect if they heat the pool
Pros: Executive club previleges were great.
Pros: Very nice place to stay
Cons: Breakfast is extremely expensive.
Cons: nor free wifi
Cons: They wanted a print out of my receipt for the hotel booking as I booked through kayak. I didn't have a print out so caused a minor issue at checkin
Organised, cleanness, quite atmosphere, the amazing & comfortable location & the staff kindness).
I didn't like that the internet is costly chargeable (This old system doesn't exist anywhere in the civil world anymore).
The welcoming is not special (No welcoming water, fruits.....).
Pros: Very good restaurants and cafes close by. Many attractions within walking distance (Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, etc.).
Cons: The hotel charges 25 euro for in room internet access, and for the cost of the in-hotel laundry service, you can purchase a new wardrobe.

Pros: The rooms are well sized, the breakfast buffet has a nice selection, and the U3 U-Bahn station is a short walk away. Free street parking is around, but you have to hunt for it.
Cons: Limited English on some staff (other staff are good). Poor attitude on the breakfast staff. Tight streets make for difficult parking and navigating.

Pros: I have stayed at the Grand Hotel Esplanade since it was built and it has maintained a high quality product; all rooms are comfortable and the staff is very supportive. The 100 bus stops a block away and will take you to touist destinations, get a transit pass at the train station to cover the days you will be going around.
Cons: Although the hotel has enlarged the gym, it did so in removing some of the amenities such as the aroma therapy room, the juice, etc. bar, and the pool was too cold this trip. I also miss the frendly and delicious rstaurants that were previously available. Nevertheless, I would likely opt to stay there again.
Cons: The pillows were a little thin.
Pros: The bed was lovely, the room spotless and the staff helpful to a fault. Harry's bar was also a lovely place to sit outside and relax with a drink.
Cons: The view could've been a little better. Paid for a view of the canal but got a room overlooking the glass roof over the forecourt and could barely see the canal.

Pros: good taste-Good location, clean, polite staff -fun beautiful small pool and dry sauna was a great way to relax and end the day.
Cons: -Breakfast is good, but too expensive, $25 euros per person! - wifi in room but unsteady. -worst pet peave was that to access the TV in English or movies, you have to agree to pay $14.50 ( per day) without access to menu guide to see what is available
Pros: Location and comfort
Cons: The buthrobe and the room shoes were delivered oto my room only after my conversation with the front desk person. It should be part of the service for the 5 star hotel. Also at the piano bar nobody played piano. Other then that everything was vetry good.
Pros: Great location, very friendly staff.
Cons: Spa area could be better, check out took a long time.
