Pros: "In flight entertainment was good, half of the cabin crew were super friendly, others a bit bored."
Cons: "Brand new A350 but very cramped seats, it felt very claustrophic. Flew out on a 747 and had a lot of space - wonderful aircraft, flew back on A350 and it felt like flying Ryanair for 7 hours! I am only 5 feet 7 and my knees were close to the seat in front, I am not fat but the tray table was touching my stomach. I dread to think how anyone ate the food if they are 15 stone or more, I guess the table rest on the stomach and the food has to be held on.. The food wasn't good, I asked for a vegetarian meal but got bland vegan food - no cheese or dairy even though those are vegetarian. Next time I will not order a special meal and just get the standard vege meal and risk that they have one for me. Flight crew were OK, some of the instructions about electronic devices were garbled and unclear, especially about the use of laptops."
Pros: "Crew amazing yes. Seat comfortable."
Cons: "None for now!"
Pros: "Organized process and controls."
Cons: "The crew can be a little more personable. They were very professional and courteous. Didn’t go out of their way to serve."
Pros: "Crew good, food okish."
Cons: "Entertainment system below average. Disembarkment was poorly handled and resulted in big delays."
Pros: "Crew were brilliant and I felt well looked-after."
Cons: "Bizarre flight with lunch of pasta and broccoli at breakfast time and then the whole flight was in the dark as most people were sleeping. Grotty 22-year old plane."
Pros: "not much"
Cons: "Equipment change from A350 to very old 777. Long delay."
Pros: "The crew were all nice."
Cons: "Aircraft VERY aged--NO charging ports?! Entertainment screens tiny and old touch screen interface, slow to respond. Remote control on arm rest=accidental volume changes and such. Do NOT get the veggie pasta, it's terrible. Overhead bins do not hold large bags correctly."
Pros: "The crew worked hard and was courteous."
Cons: "This was American Airlines flight, not British Airways. The plane was old and quite uncomfortable. The entertainment system was subpar. The AA app was supposed to give opportunity to get more choice using personal devices but the system did not work on this old plane."
Pros: "Boarding and on time departure."
Cons: "Nothing to dislike"
Pros: "As always no issues at all, I reserved my seats early to get extra leg room which is always great. Fast boarding and a quick flight, having been on a long haul flight a few hours before I needed this to get home."
Pros: "Crew was good the equipment on board not good. I paid for 6 seats for my family and earphone connection plus power socket didn't work"
Pros: "Nothing specific"
Cons: "Old aircraft"
Cons: "Flight was diverted for 4 hours due to thunderstorm in Toronto"
Pros: "The flight was delayed prior to leaving the gate, while lined up to take off and during the flight. All delays were promptly explained by members of the flight deck. The cabin crew were outstanding nothing seemed to be too much of a inconvenience to them."
Pros: "The crew was very nice. The boarding was fairly organised. That’s about it."
Cons: "I don’t know what the problem was with the air flow but it was hot and stuffy. The flight attendant tried to fix it several times but it was miserable. The seats are extremely narrow. No usb plugs and very little selection of movies."
Pros: "Plenty food. Very well looked after by the crew. Lots of good movies."
Cons: "Some of the screens had a scratches on them."
Pros: "Food and service great"
Pros: "Ground staff were excellent, the comfort was acceptable."
Cons: "Entertainment was mediocre, and absence of WiFi on air was disappointing. Not being able to eat food of your choice in business class because it ran out, is not acceptable. Crew were indifferent"
Pros: "British Airways has definitely got their act together it was a brilliant flight and the service was excellent it was a pleasure to see."
Pros: "food was excellent ... service is always top notch"
Pros: "Mediocre experience on the ground; much better in the air -- competent, pleasant cabin crew."
Cons: "It seems amazing to me that BA will leave 50 First and Business Class passengers standing in line while they pre-board "families with young children". Some of the families had children who were 7 or 8 years old and certainly had no need for pre-boarding; its just an opportunistic way of jumping the queue. Similarly, some of the "elderly" passengers who claim to need pre-boarding on departure spring to their feet and dash down the aisle on arrival. Air Canada boards Business Class first on this same route; I'm going to migrate back to them, as virtually everything else on the two flights is comparable."
Pros: "Only wish they would've put me on the direct flight"
Cons: "The transfer was a pain. Signage at Toronto Airport is non existent. I had to stop and ask people which way to go 3 times"
Cons: "No WIFI"
Pros: "Food, Movies Staff Treatment Aircraft: B787...quiet, new and clean Heathrow Terminal 5"
Pros: "Good service by the booking staff all the way through, especially when they were helping me with the delay."
Cons: "My overall schedule was delayed 3 hours, which threw off some of my plans."
Pros: "Very good Premium Economy service. Comfortable seats and good food."
Cons: "Noise (crying babies) from the Economy section. Delay in departure."
Cons: "Couldn't take the flight because I was not allowed to check a bag. No mention of this was made when I booked."
Pros: "Good documentary films to choose from to pass time."
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and roomy."
Cons: "The plane was ridiculously freezing cold; the AC was way too low and now I am ill. I complained on numerous occasions but the temperature remained! Also there was hardly any leg room."
Pros: "Nothing. British Airways refused to help us"
Cons: "Took over two hours on the phone to try and get rebooked. Missed the last flight out of the night due to incompetence. British Airways desk check in staff was so rude, wouldn't even talk to us. Thank goodness for the helpful Air Canada grind crew in Toronto."
Pros: "crew friendliness"
Cons: "no charging ports"
Pros: "Flew with partner Aer Lingus. Extremely comfortable, good food, good entertainment, great crew."
Pros: "great service - flight was smooth takeoff and landing"
Cons: "I paid to upgrade my seat and another passenger sat there and refused to move so I had to sit on the opposite side of the row causing me discomfort the entire flight. I have a titanium leg on my right side and always sit in a seat that allows me to stretch my leg right side of aisle. Very dissatisfied"
Pros: "Getting home"
Cons: "Extremely cold on board ,, no control of a.c. After boarding we got a breakfast bar and a drink. Nothing more till morning, then the breakfast was horrible."
Pros: "My screen worked and there was a good selection of movies. I also had a window seat which was great. Any seat except the middle, is always great."
Cons: "No vegetarian options."
Cons: "We had to be transported by bus both when we boarded in Edinburgh and when we got off the plane at London Gatwick. Of course when we took another plane at Gatwick, we had to take a bus again. Very inefficient process. They actually close the gate 30 min before the flight time, for really. I think it's unnecessarily harsh. Crew were very friendly."
Pros: "The service"
Cons: "Small sits for three people"
Pros: "Fabulous experience on every level"
Pros: "That you could watch movies and shows from the headrest, very helpful to pass the time. They fed us a lot (very salty) and were very nice."
Cons: "I was in the back in the cheap seats (row 50) with a friend, we are both small to regular size and the guy seated in the aisle seat was very small and it was still difficult to get up and around each other to use the restroom. Oh well I paid $462 for round trip and arrived safely, that's what matters most."
Pros: "I got upgraded which was a huge bonus and the staff were great and attentive."
Pros: "Food was ok - rest was terrible."
Cons: "Boarding was troublesome due to the fact the person made an error and changed my seat that I had already reserved. I noticed this while walking to the gate and then informed the person at the desk. After some time they determined the error happened at check in and she then returned me to the original booked seat. While in the flight, the lady behind me kept kicking my seat and complaining that I should not have the seat leaning back. Of course this is a fully acceptable function of flying in that the seat can be tilted back when not having food - the crew did not help at all and I was forced to fly the whole time with soon being rude behind me."
Pros: "The service was great!"
Cons: "Leg room. I'm very tall."
Cons: "I was not informed about visa - so i need to bay 2nd ticket. I sent redound request email - but no reply."
Pros: "Got to my destination"
Cons: "The plane was from the last century. My iPhone screen is bigger than the entertainment unit in the seat in front of me... The flight was late. Service very slow."
