Cons: "For deboarding they used stairs (not ramps) at their hub in Doha - must be some sort of new innovation to improve fitness. The Wifi onboard was in name only - it was so slow you wouldn't notice it is working or not - i flew Qatar because they claimed to have Wifi- hugely disappointed."

I purchased a multi-trip and failed to used the ticket I purchased because I had to leave Qatar early since the person I was staying with was disorganized and flew out the country. I then purchased a different ticket with another airline because it was cheaper. Since I did that, they cancelled my whole trip. HOW? And I payed for a service I clearly didn't receive. As a result, stranded, I had to pay an additional $1,125 for a one way ticket home - more than my original round trip multi flight purchase."

Instead of explaining to her what was going on she just took her shoes, which made my mother upset mad."

I asked if they could talk to the parents and they said no, the beverage service was not good as I couldn't get more water and the seats were awful! Why wasnt the wifi working? even if it worked I'd have to purchase it even tho it was an international flight. I will not fly American Airlines again!"

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

We finally got off the ground almost three hours late but staff tried to be as helpful as possible though they didn’t know much. It was good the passengers seemed fairly patient and accepting. The horror was at the airport in Venice where it took over two hours in very long line just to get through passport check."

I was in first class and expected a light breakfast but AT LEAST A CUP OF COFFEE. Never again will I pay for first class on this airline. AMERICAN AIRLINES SHOULD BE ASHAMED. 4. The crew was unwelcoming and unfriendly. Not acceptable when paying these prices."

EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, esp since all other flights to DC out of JFK were cancelled. 2) We were on the last row of the plane so our seats didn’t recline. Annoying at best bc the flight was so short, but would have been nice since we had been traveling for 18 hours by that point (because of the late flight, missed connection, cancelled JFK flights, etc)."

Cons: "Seats are built for very small people. My knees were pressed into some hard surfaces for the entire 3+ hour flight. Made it a little painful to walk when we landed. The movie screens (not headrest systems) were all up overhead so you get a neck cramp watching anything. The headrest behind me pressed my shoulders forward and the extendable part would not stay up. The window stopped at about my shoulder so to look out I had to crouch down. AA better stop squeezing us for profits and start delivering a quality service or we'll all find some other airline that puts passengers first."

Cons: "LATAM took our luggage from a flight from a different airline that we used to get from Miami to Orlando. They locked it up and closed before we arrived. My friend was unable to get his medicine, I missed vital time from a work contract, and we had to spend the night at the airport waiting until 1pm today to receive our luggage. This is the worst experience I've had with an airline. No one spoken with on LATAM seemed to care. We were stranded without sleep and got no clear answer from the LATAM hotline. There was no mention of compensation for our troubles. I will not be recommending this airline to other travelers aa this has ruines my work schedule and my friend is unable to get his medicine."

I lost 4 hours, AA lost revenue, standby passengers stuck in Philly. Also, no air conditioning on this flight."

Cons: "Connections to US destinations now require your checked in baggage to be processed before you can proceed to your connecting flights. The real problem is that this is no sign or communications describing this. Everyone is simply stopped in the corridor and told that they cannot proceed farther until their name comes up green on a monitor. Unfortunately the monitor switches displays so frequently that it is almost impossible to read. In addition to that it seems names do not always appear on the monitor unless you get your boarding pass scanned a the desk (this is not communicated to you unless you ask why your name is not on the monitor at all). People late for connecting flights (because of inbound flight delays) are required to wait without explanation sometimes needlessly if they don't have a checked bag. A nightmare if you're trying to make your connection. In addition once you've cleared that hurdle you need to go through security again (something we were unprepared for since we were already in the secure area. You then proceed to customs and then your connecting flight (if you haven't already missed it by then). Allow lots of time to get to your connecting flight, and ask to get you boarding pass scanned at that mysterious "checked bag" stop in the corridor."

Cons: "The delays were horrible!!! Had 4 flights with them. Seattle to Vancouver, Vancouver to Beijing, Hong Kong to Vancouver, and Vancouver to Seattle. Seattle to Vancouver was delayed so long that we almost missed our connecting flight to Beijing. Because of that delay our baggage missed the Vancouver to Beijing flight and we had nothing for 2 days!!! It was a hassle to get some kind of compensation and just having to wear the same clothes for 2 days. Also the Hong Kong to Vancouver, and Vancouver to Seattle flights were also delayed"

Hitch hike, it's more dependable than that trash airline"

Why the second time 45 mins cattle line up for security pass through before customs?? IN TRANSIT STILL??!! Not having proper crew ready to take over flight when delays make first crew sign off...waited on plane with no service for 1.5 hrs no water or food - should have disembarked to terminal?? Babies kids had 5 hrs onboard with no distractions or food. YIKES!! In the AIRPORT lack of AIR Canada personnel attending gateways! EMPTY until 20 mins before flights. Customer Service Desks somewhat helpful...could do more form their stations."

But she didn't even give customers the chance to raise their hands bec she walked by so fast saying "water, water, water." I wasn't even dozing off and I couldn't catch her and I was sitting by the aisle. Dirty bathrooms with doors that don't lock - not just one particular stall but more than one stall."

The airlines apparent made several changes between my trip and I was threaten with additional bag fees when my ticket was very clear for two carry-ons and to checked bags, which also confirmed when I confirmed my seat request. After I was required to check my bags, I realized my earbuds were in the bag and the flight attendant did not give me a pair and actually told me I could purchase a pair...REALLY!I just did a 15 hour flight from Dubai, you were delayed by 2 hours on my last connecting flight and you can't comp a pair of .25 cent earbuds."

When she picked up the suitcase it was wet and missing one wheel. On the return flight to Tampa when the suitcase arrived it was missing two of the four wheels in the corner was completely ripped off which was exposing what was inside. The handling of the suitcases is awful and she should receive a replacement suitcase"

Pros: "Air Canada personnel made sure I made the connecting flight from Paris to Denver through passport control and the repeated safety checks in Montreal. The small aircraft was spacious even in economy."
Cons: "A male flight attendant was unwelcoming when I finally got to the plane (being late was not my fault). Did not want to help looking for a spot for my normal size carry on. When I pointed out one above him, he left my bag there and just walked away. I am 69 years old, 5'1"."

Cons: "The horrendously long lines going through security!! I am 77. My husband is 81. Standing in those very long lines was extremely fatiguing. To the point we are rethinking ever flying again. They were bad bookends to an otherwise great trip."

It had the origin and destination mixed up but had the correct cities. That's impossible with the corresponding flight #'s. Called AC, they said; oh well. Then multiple notices in email of changes to times of depart/arrival/gates. Showing these email changes to A/ C Gate Staff, they said each of those 8 notices for departures or return flights was wrong info and they concluded; "oh well". They don't care, and they weren't interested in reporting the errors to IT people."

Cons: "Connection was a hectic with staff sending up and down to get our boarding passes. TSA had short lines but long wait and a lot of attitude."

I paid extra money to get to cali earlier and ended up later than I wouldve if i had gone with the cheaper flight."

Took awhile but managed to walk to the luggage, but had to sit for half hour with the pain in my legs.....No thank you Air Canada, next tine it will be different air lines....."

Cons: "When flying cross-country, I always choose a window seat so I could look at the mountains in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and California. But on this flight, the windows would dim completely so I couldn't see anything. And the controls to un-dim them didn't work."

Cons: "This flight was five hours late. there was an exchange of four planes before United could provide one that did not need maintenance. When it was time to board there was a last minute gate change to a different terminal. Surely United must have known of this hours in advance."

Cons: "We sat on the plane for 2 hours at the gate to find out that the dispatcher did not have paperwork for the flight and hence we could not leave yet. We were not told of all of the issues and were kept sitting on the plane idle for 2 hours before we had to deplane and wait even more."

Cons: "The ground crew seems not to have a good understanding of the available over-head space and asks passengers to checks bags in unnecessarily. For the second time in a row, I was told that there is no overhead space left and that I need to check my bag while I was boarding. I saw that this wasn't the case when I got on board. Needless to say that waiting to pickup my carry-on at my destination added an unnecessary half an hour to my trip."

Pros: "The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful."
Cons: "I already knew I was going to pay $200 to ship my boards back home (I wonder if golf clubs which are roughly the same size cost as much,) but when pre-purchasing through the app for an "oversized" bag you have to put a "one" in the checked bag and a "one" in the oversized bag even though they're the same bag, but then they charge you for two, and when you tell the check-in person that you only have one bag of course they can't issue a refund. No, they tell you that you get to call customer service when you return home."

Pros: "I ate something."
Cons: "The food on international flights is really disgusting. I usually fly with Air france which has a wonderful food menu, and compared to that, United is really bad."

Pros: "United personnel were very helpful under really miserable circumstances. They did everything in their power to rush me to flights that were seriously delayed due to severe weather on January 4th."
Cons: "The long delays! The kicker was when we waited 2.5 hours for technicians to repair broken in-flight restrooms. Flights that were supposed to be completed in five hours were finished in 10. Noone's fault, but I did not enjoy that part."

If UA would check the weather, maybe they'd be more proactive and send a flight from MMH earlier in the am, not when the snow conditions are in full swing in the evening. Or, attempt to get connecting flights elsewhere just to make it home!!! Not once, not twice, but three times and counting United Airlines severely let me down."

Pros: "Boarding was OK, but only because we happened to be first in Group 2. Airlines STILL haven't figured out how to board reasonably efficiently. Having to fight your way to the back is NOT reasonably efficient. Alaska boards from the back row towards the front which is much more reasonable."
Cons: "The seats are set too close together. I am not tall, but I had only about 1.5 inches of knee room. The armrests are uncomfortable. The seats lack padding. Many screens didn't work. The controls for the screens are placed exactly where one's elbow rests, so you are guaranteed to change channels inadvertently. The seats, because they are so close to each other, don't recline much. All in all, it was an uncomfortable flight."

Other delayed fights where getting information over the loud speaker. The attendants left the area came back when we could board and hurded us on the plane. Not a friendly face or smile. Everyone was tired, a little civility would have gone a long way"

Pros: "Liked the new model for entertainment. Had WiFi you can use to watch movies/TV on your laptop/iPad. Also read email, do work. Very good flight crew on this flight. Worked at keeping us fed and watered! Long flight and full plane so they were busy. Crew in the Frankfurt airport were very good as well. There early and pre checked us in. Very good people skills for this group."

Cons: "So we arrived at the desk after a 7hr international flight ready for the final 1hr leg - only to be confronted with "flight overbooked" looking for 9 volunteers - how can you over book a 40 seat flight by 9 ???? So we had an anxious wait wondering if we'd be dumped from the flight - we weren't but it wasn't enjoyable waiting for the flight and our meeting with our grand kids."

Pros: "Finally got us on the plane after a 6 hour delay. They decided to "update" the computer software on the plane after they had us all on there. Took about 90 minutes. Very displeased, will do my best avoid United in the future"

Cons: "I am disabled so its hard enough dealing with small bathrooms, but to then find FILTHY TOILETS! Both toilets/bathrooms in economy were disgusting! There was pee or poop or menstrual blood on one of the toilet seats and just pee all over the other seat. I went into one toilet and came back out to go to the other one. I told the flight attendant and he just shrugged his shoulders and went back to eating his bagel. I had to clean off the seat! Peanut mix is not enough each passenger should get 2 packages. The flight attendants were not careful when steering that drink server thing and hit several people with it moving down the aisle. My wheelchair was not there when we landed and i had to wait for it. The seats in the back of the plane seem like the cushion is high in the back so you feel like you're almost standing! Not enough room between video screen and my face. Shouldnt have to pay for entertainment."
