They came through the cabin several times with drinks and snacks and ensured we had the most comfortable flight possible. I thought the entertainment choices were excellent and really provided a wide array of genres and a unique multicultural assortment. Meals were very good, served in generous portions, and having a vegetarian diet I was happy to be so easily accommodated. I was lucky enough on this flight to have a row to myself so I could spread out."

Staff was extremely arrogant during the flight, not helpful at all. Boarding process was a huge disaster - no planning, no zone boarding and unnesessary panic. Lastly food, worst frozen food. The portions were too small and very limited service. We won't use ETIHAD again."

They were short in their responses, forgot requests multiple times, and didn't make the little bit of extra effort to provide translators in Arabic, ensure an elderly lady next to me had the meal she needed, and secure the food options that we asked for. Our row was told us there were no more chicken meals for example, when we saw an attendant on the other side of the plane offer consistent chicken meals for multiple rows to come. They were just being lazy and didn't even want to ask."

The toilet facilities were terrible ... urine on the floors that made them sticky and horrifically stinky. Only two food service events during the 13 hours ... the first was OK, but the second was really sub par (a sandwich and a granola bar only)/.The available entertainment choices of movies were really lacking compared to other airlines. My first seat assignment had to be changed, because the man set to be sitting next to me began murmuring and cursing when he found out that I was to be next to him. My second seat assignment had me sitting in front of a man, who angrily refused to let me recline my seat at all, because it would crowd his leg space. Therefore I had to sit perfectly straight for all 13 hours of the flight. There were no other aisle seats for me to switch to. Most airlines offer eye shades and earplugs for the long haul flights. Not this one. Both were needed on this rather noise, chaotic flight. I guess you get what you pay for ... the cheap fare is not worth it. I don't intend to fly this airline again."

Pros: "I didn't have a boarding pass for Royal Jordanian as it was a connecting flight and the UIA groundstaff refused to print one for me when I checked in. Royal Jordanian was very accomodating and sent someone down to the terminal to help me. The food was tasty and fresh as well."

Pros: "New plane with a great entertainment selection but I think the leg room is becoming less with each new plane. Musical seats —if you’ve flown ElAl before you know what I mean—was annoying. Flight crew seemed to disappear for a while. No response to the call button for over 5 minutes so I walked to the back of the plane where all flight crew seemed to be congregating to get a glass of water. When crew was around, they were very pleasant ."

Did get served fluids in 4 ounce cups no ice. Felt like I went on easy jet but had to pay $1300. No leg room, when the guy in front leaned back ,his chair was touching my knees and I am only 5'4."
Pros: "I don't know where to start. Airplane is from the 70's. Still has ashtrays. The seats are so tight together. Extremely uncomfortable. No entertainment systems at all. One old tv in the middle playing one movie. No wifi. I'm dreading my return flight."

Serving and collecting of food trays was exceptionally slow. Entertainment system is ANTIQUATED AND MUST BE REPLACED."

The TVs were worse qualities than what we had 50 years ago. There was minimal seat room for arms and legs. I'm not just bitchin, but I never paid that much for a flight, yet, it was the worst experience ever. (Just to give context, I've flown to Israel with Azerbaijan, Royal Jordanian, Air France and Turkish Airlines and ALL of them were exponentially more enjoyable). B. The flight attendants were literally the ruddest ones I've met. I clicked the help light on my seat like 5 times throughout the flight for water but they never came. I couldn't get up because an old woman was sitting next to me and she was sleeping. C. The flight was delayed which was a huge inconvenience for me because I bought this flight specifically because of its departure time. Overall, my advice is to stay away from this airline because it will probably be your worst flying experience ever"

When i payed for my trip at Kayak there was no attention about baggage fee's or option to add a luggage. if I knew or it was shown at the website i would choose other flight,,that was shame. then, when i got at the plane and tried to sit at my seat another strange woman sent me to her seat with no confirmation of the aircompany or anyone elthe. I have not turn to anyone because i didnt want to make trouble but the check-in, taking the seat, and all the flight was terrible. its not the first time that i choose Kayak for my trips. that one wass terrible!"

The boarding was good although the long bus drive to the aircraft was a bit annoying (carrying also a stroller) but this is not Elal's fault. The flight was smooth (these are the best pilots anyways...) Service was good and landing went smoothly."
Cons: "As opposed to the outgoing flight from Tel-Aviv, I could not choose our seats when I checked in the day before. In addition, even though we arrived to the express check-in stand almost first, the stuardes allocated our seats to the one before last row in two seconds... I didn't even had the chance to ask for a front as possible row (and I'm not that slow...) Since I'm also not an arguing peraon and it's not that big of a deal (thak god she didn't check us to the last row...) we survived it."
The one thing I must say is that the flight wasn't full at all, and in this case, I'm really unsure why they wouldn't sit people farther from each other.

You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."
Pros: "I was at the gate. Before the door to enter the airplane. The Hungarian crew wasn’t telling me that they are closing the gate or going to close it. They completely ignore me and let me stand there and at the end I see the door close in front of me, 2 meter from me and they told me I mised flight."
Cons: "I lost my money and I had to buy new flight with other company. Wizzair crew at budapest was very rude and didn’t take responsibility for the mistake they did. They could just say they are closing the door but nobody did. 2 meters from me and after I passed all security they ignored me completely."

Yes, like a bully, demanded for money, or else.... Worst service i had ever experienced in my 16 years of traveling."

They claimed the fee was for checking in in person---and then they also claimed it was too late to check in online.
