Paris hotels near Place du Trocadéro

Cons: I was not satisfied with the room I got (first floor and no view) other than this, I liked it

Cons: The wifi was very slow and would sometimes not work at all. Our last day they reset it on our floor and it worked better but only slightly. Room service and restaurant were so expensive (breakfast was included but is 68 euro if not) that it was ridiculous. 33 euro for a caeser salad for example. 18 euro for French fries. It is two blocks from Etoile 1 metro but the area was very quiet with few stores unless you went over to the Champs. You need to travel a ways to get to less name brand shopping or boutiques. But all easy by a metro or usually two. Can't do much about that but thought I should mention. But none of these things would stop me from returning. It was a terrific hotel.

Cons: No view.

Cons: The staff was very rude . When I requested a half an hour delay in check out time , they threatened to barge in the room exactly at 12.00 . I had to tell them , if they like I can walk in underpants in the lobby and dress up there !!!! Very impolite and rude for a four star hotel . Never choose this hotel , whatever the good review might say....

Cons: Rooms did not have any drawer storage for clothes, There was room for 2 night stands yet there was only one. Paint color in rooms and hall was depressive,

Cons: Staff was rude and unaccommodating. Rooms were not available at the checkin time and staff repeatedly instructed patrons to come back every hour which ruined a day of travel. Wouldn't recommend for vacation travelers.

Cons: Staff not very friendly. Try to call bell hop in morning of our departure no answer had to carry our own luggage down. Bathroom shower was full of mold very nasty try to change room Hotel was 100% booked or so we were told. We booked to have room with Eiffel Tower but instead got room on first floor with no view. Two guests arrived after us got much better rooms. Only difference we booked thru Expedia and other guests booked directly with Hotel.

Cons: Carpet was quite worn, especially in the walkways. In room fridge and Air Conditioner were not cold enough however it was unusually warm in Paris during our visit (90 F/32C) Restaurant and bar choices were extremely limited The hotel requires men and boys to wear Speedo style swimwear to use the pool. This really irked me as it would have required the purchase of 3 pairs of Speedos despite us having swim shorts. Of course Novotel sells these Speedos for 15 Euros each, which would have meant spending 45 Euros on 3 pairs to use the pool!! I specifically chose a hotel with a pool and have never heard of such a rule in travels to numerous countries. The pool guy who was giving senior citizen aqua aerobics lessons was really rude to my wife when she dipped her toe in the water to test it’s temperature on the other side of the pool away ftom his class. He walked over put a chain and exercise bike in her way to block her and acted like she’d dive bombed the seniors!?!? Quite a rude overreaction!?!?
