The way the hotel was decorated..that everything was brand new...that the beds were very confortable.. the shower had no door ....that if you used the pc in the lobby it was 8 euros for 30 minutes
Staff was very friendly and very helpful.
The room was very comfortable and very pretty
Comfortable room in very central situation. Modern and rather fancy bathroom. The new and expensive looking interior of the hotel is somewhat reminiscent of a 1970's disco.
Clean, nice staff, looks new. A little bit far away from the sena river. Locatin has everything, shopping, restaurants but's a little far away from the main landmarks
Location, cleanliness, modern, friendly and helpful staff, windows open to courtyard, None
In principle everything, But the shower was owsom, well done. The hotel is new. The staff is very helpfull and friendly and service minded. The a/c in blowing in the face when sleeping maybe you could correct this or redirect the flow of air.
It has a very good location, very close to Gare Saint Lazare. It is very comfortable, very well designed, close to amenities.. I would go there again. They should have sleepers in the room.
unique in its decor, great location fro sightseeing and shopping and staff were very helpful and freindly we were in room 101 and we could hear the lift during the night. Corridors too dark
Free wifi Bar shut too early
Very nice hotel, very friendly staff.Cozy and good designed.
confort of the room
Please write at least 15 words
Bathroom small and uncomfortable and needs to be redesign
i liked its central location the staff where very knowledgeable and the beds and bed linen were out of this world it was my birthday during our stay and was given a bottle of champagne i disliked the prices
The location near to everywhere, the bed is extraordinary comfortable ! Only for the breakfast rooms need more improvement, more bigger for more guests.
Location, staff support, comfort, friendliness
Location & service are really good! They gave me a present at my birthday surprisingly.
superb hotel, superb staff, couldnt do enough for you. yes it is a lot of money, but for a treat and/or special occasion highly, highly reccomended
The Location which central to tourist sites + the cleanliness of the room
Hotel staff are ok, but need more english speaking staff if possible Location, location
Staff, room, breakfast, ambiance Gym bit small and wrong equipment
Very nice Hotel, the service was very good too.
It was clean. At least one staff was useful. The billing system when we booked online did not tell us the exact charges. It should give us the total figure for all the days, and not just the charges for one day/night. We thought the rate was one sum and when we got the bill we paid 4 times more. This was a bit confusing and embarassing. The online billing system misled us
The location is fantastic, and the service is 5 stars. The rooms are too small
the staff is very frindly and good services the hotel is too small and my opinion should be 4 stars NOT 5
Hotel Position. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. In general the rooms are small, and the hotel a bit "tired". Severe remodeling must be done to improve the hotel to deserve its price. 1) the hot water takes ages to come, I.E. no hot water recirculation pumps. 2) the room looks aged, and so did the bathroom. Not classic, but aged and overused, tired. For example "classic" weight scales that do not work. Why bother having them at all? 4) this ridiculous type fridge in the room! Charging as soon as you remove an item. I really dislike them. This is not a service fridge for cliens, it is a sales dispencer! It even has a note for a space 10cm by 10cm by 10cm "area for client". Like it is making a joke... ridiculous!!! 3) This hotel is very expensive for what it offers very bad value for money
- light with sign "don't disturb"; - morning newspapers; - the bussiness room/Internet is always busy; - the lamp on the bed's table fall down several times per night; - this is no possibility to swith off the night light
The massage I had was one of the best in my life...
overnight befoe travelling on no
I was there for a business trip, and we rented their 'Manhattan' conference room for a presentation preparation. Very clean hotel and responsive staff. The location is very good. It's walking distance to the place de la concorde, the opera, madeleine, saint augustin, and other landmarks.
the bathroom was excellent then room was on the small side
The service provided from all the staff, very friendly and sincere. There is no weighting machine for guest to weight their luggage to avoid being tax. Shortage of multi plug.
The hotel design is stunning, the rooms are comfortable and stylish and the location is great. The staff were inexperienced and service consequently slow.
It's a 4 star hotel that is well worth its stars, providing an excellent service to the travellor: slippers and bathrobe available in the room, generous flasks with shampoo, body lotion and shower gel - very much appreciated especially for those who travel with only their handluggage!
Reasonable sized room for urban Paris. Good Wifi, Nice bathroom. Hotel staff was not responsive. Also, they cancelled my dinner reservation, even though I told them to confirm it. I was upset.
We liked the location, the building, the interior design and the friendly staff. We also like d the fact that it was brand new and everything was clean. We could use a writing area in the room a stand for the suitcase and hooks for the towels in the bathroom.
Location was good. The room was terrible, no operable window, flooded bathroom from roll in shower. AC ran non-stop, room was too small with nowhere to sit, set luggage and the rate was ridiculous considering. Nowhere near four star accommodations.
The location is fantastic and the metro close by to get to all the sights. Breakfast was a little disorganised and the shower tends to leak all over the floor as the shower door does not keep the water in. I would say that they could provide better service in the bar as it was hard to find someone when wanting a drink which I would not expect from a 4 star hotel.
Location is perfect, I like a still of the rooms... Room is very small and bathroom and toilet is not so big,
the room and lobby Inexperienced staff
Perfectly situated in the Opera District of Paris
I enjoyed staying at this hotel! It is really great and staff is very helpfull and nice! We had a great room! The breakfast was delicious and athmosphere of the hotel is very nice although it is a splendid style for not everyone to understand! For some people room maybe dark but it is a design and for us it was great! If the prices will remain the same next year we definetely will stay only in this hotel! Thank you for a wonderfull staying in your hotel! I would like to give advice for russian travellers, it is better to pay for the room by cash at check-in, becausу the hotel first make a pre-authorisation and the at check out they charge money from the card and it takes a lot of time for the bank to return money back. Please note also that a day before check-in the hotel blockes amount for the first night on the credit card!
The staff were excellent and did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was peaceful and quiet. The showers were the best we have ever seen and used and would happily have taken them home if at all possible. The service at the front desk could not be faulted in any way, especially a charming young lady called Amelia. If ever we are in that area again we will definitely try to stay there. The food; the soup was warmed in the container it was bought in and served in the same container!!
Kind staffs, good location small room
Location is superb! It's close to the Opera, which makes it possible for us girls to attend a nice show in the late evening without too much worry. The cozy room is clean, which meets my expectation of a W. I don't like, hate, the room design. the Cozy room has a very small and dark restroom (all walls are painted in black only with a very deem and small wall lamp). The shower room, although it's independent from the restroom, has a very cheap-looking floor.
The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. We arrived a couple hours before check-in and received a room right away. We were surprised later w/chocolates & champagne, as a 35th anniversary gift. They helped us to easily navigate the city, as well. I wish the closet could have been larger but I think the room & storage accomodations are standard for Paris.
The W Paris Opera Team are all very focused on customer service. we felt at home the minute we got there. The hotel is impeccably clean, rooms are larger than I expected, and you cant beat the location
Location, bed, staff they don't provide Shampoo, and 1 Soda at 8 Euros is Expensive
Their 'whatever/whenever' service is legit, very friendly courteous staff, location is in the heart of everything, half block from the Opera metro. A little of 'The Fifth Element' in style made a couple things confusing or complex, took a while to figure out the rainforest shower, for example.
Loved the location. If you visit Paris, get a subway pass. They are efficient, on time but sometimes crowded. The W is near two different stops which makes it easy to get around Paris. The room was small and lacked some privacy for freshening up in the morning.
Location No place to put toiletries in the bathroom
Location, courtesey Room too small, lack of free amenities in the room.
good loaction great staff - room was a bit small but this is paris
excellent view (opera garnier) & close to many hot places very small room
We loved the location of Newhotel Roblin. Place de la Madeleine is one of my favorite neighborhoods. The room we had was exceptionally small and cramped along with the bathroom.
Excellent location - friendly and helpful staff - nice breakfast Only having WiFi available in one small public area of hotel - being unable to connect to Vodafone home connection from room - appeared to be blocked!
the location Upon arrival we were told the air conditiooning in our room did not work. When we asked the staff about it they told us that the AC was out in the whole hotel, although the rest of the hotel was obviously cooler than if there had been no AC throughout. Also the second morning of our stay we lost all our plumbing and had to wash up using bottled water and had no toilet facilities.
Good value for money (at the reduced rate, even though all the little things in the room are extra!). Good size room, Quiet room when chosen the one off the street. Great location by Madelaine, good car park next door, No shower curtain. The drain in the bathtub plugged. Only one person at the reception at the time of check-out, dealing with concierge function as well.
Location, location , location. And expresso machine in the room. My room 206 has lots of noise from the pipe drain. I can hear water sound fushing Down the pipe when I am sleeping. It was loud. I took it as part of the authetic Parisian apartment experience hence I stayed 3 nights without changing room.
Great location. Noisy attimes.
Excellent location. We were upgraded to superior room. Friendly staff. Expensive
Hotel Recept was friendly, fast with minimum fuss. It is actually very well located next to Magdelene Stn, and within walking distance to Concorde and Louvre. The road name should be reflected on the map, or the nearest train station indicated. The internet access was out but at least the staff bother to rectify it.
location hair-dryer, paid internet access
We stayed in a nice suite. Ample space for a family with two children.
nice service, good location small room and expensive.
Large room, excellent location, attentive staff. Nice bar and restaurant. The air was out and incredibly hot. It made for bad sleep. There were no apology for this or room discount. There should have been a room discount. The bathtub had mold. The concierge booked the taxi for Centre George Pompidou but neglected to tell me the museum was closed on Tuesdays, so I wasted a precious morning.
the reception/staff and the internet facilities were good. the room was fairly disappointing as there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room! It was very basic for the price we payed. Having said all that the room was very clean. the reception and restaurant looked very grand! rather it had been the other way round!
The design and architecture is superb. The location made it very conveinant to visit shopping malls and historic locations . No we do not have anything to complain about.
Gorgeous room and excellent location.
I was very happy with our stay at Hotel Bedford in Paris. The location was great and within walking distance to the Louvre as well as the Madeleine metro station. There is also a wonderful boulangerie & italian restaurant on the corner. We stayed in an apartment which was the perfect size for the 3 of us. The only thing that would have made it better would have been newer cleaner carpeting as ours was stained in several places. Also they have free wifi but will only give you 2 passcodes. My husband and I each had an ipad and our 20 year old daughter had her computer so one of us had to log off so that the other 2 could use the passwords. Other then that we really enjoyed our stay and the staff there is very nice and extremely helpful with metro directions, car service and anything else you might need.
Very good Hotel and excellent staff, I will go direct to this Hotel for my next trip to Paris.
Great location, friendly staff
It was a very pleasant accommodation! Near Madelaine Place, in the middle of Paris, at 5 minutes of metro station and Tour Open station and Lafayette Galleries, in the same time in a very quiet location. Very good communication with hotel staff. Internet problems only in last day, but no one is perfect.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean spacious, and the location is excellent .It's not my first time to this hotel and I think I will always stay in it when I visit Paris
Great staff and nice rooms. Walls could be soundproofed better.
The hotel is nice and cozy. You enter through a secure gate to get to the hotel entrance. The lobby is small and personable and the staff was very helpful. The elevator is super tiny. One person with luggage could get in easily, otherwise one must wait on its return. We were up one floor, so taking the stairs wasn't an issue at all. The room was clean and nicely laid out. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the hotel's entrance. The bed was positioned to have a view of the balcony and outside. Having the door open with the cool breeze come through was very peaceful. The room was quite small, but for my boyfriend and I, it was perfectly fine. There is a small hallway from the bed area to the bathroom that has a door that you can close for extra privacy and quietness. The bathroom was nice and bright. The shower was great. Nice water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was included in our stay and I only got breakfast one day, but the morning that I had it, it was good. A nice selection of foods to eat as well as breakfast drinks. It was a bit noisy in the room from people in the hallways. Made it seem as if they were in the room too. The location can be a little iffy for families as it is off (or part of?) the "red light district". It gets kind of noisy outside of the security gate late at night/really early in the morning from patrons out and about having a good time, but it wasn't frustratingly noisy enough to get upset about. Also, we had our balcony door open, so we probably heard more than usual.
Easy access to anywhere in Paris - metro at top of road. Within walking distance of Montmartre and loads of restaurants and bars. Lively area yet quiet in the hotel. We had a great New Year!
its location and peaceful very small clothes wardrobe
Superb reception staff. Very helpful. Arrived at 0845 after a 12 hour train journey from Berlin - room immediately available as was breakfast!! Nothing
excuse, I don't understand this question... see above
The hotel is clean (except below) and the staff is friendly and helpful. Let me preface this with saying that they are renovating the hotel at this time. the location of the hotel is in a not so great area near the red light district. that being said, the hotel itself sits off the street and is gated with 24 hour security. The room was clean and modern but our batch room was old. Because of this, there was rust and mildew marks all over the bathtub.
It had some decent restaurants around and the staff were very friendly. It was a little too far from the main section of Paris.
Good location, relatively quiet, overall a good experience. some of the staff could be much more helpful
The staff were great. The breakfast was yummy.walking distance to Moulin Rouge and Sacred heart. Nice selection of restaurants near the hotel. Close to the Big Bus tourist. route N/A everything was goog
Good value for money: family room spacious enough, good breakfast buffet, quiet location, close to metro station. Handy to be able to park you car safely in a garage (paying service). The bathroom is quite aged and could use some modernisation.
very well positioned - very clean and comfortable - pleasant staff bath plug missing
Excellent, friendly service clean and quiet rooms, gret central location
Room was nice and breakfast was great but pricey. Staff was very good and accommodating. Good meals in vicinity. We prepaid for our room and then let us upgrade to a special room for the difference.
The lounge part of the hotel was very nice, very cosy. The room was very warm when I came in. So I have turned on the airco right away, and in the evening is was very cool and nice. Elevator was small and internet very slow. Buffet breakfast was not very extensive.
location is perfect, staff very gentle
room Staff too "amateur", not professional enough
The hotel faculity is very well designed and one can see that there is a great deal of care and thought that were put into the design and operation. We have a room with two balconies which was very comfortable and wellkept. Most of the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for more than a week and we really enjoyed the home like atmosphere of the hotel
Staff is so kind, breakfast not as expected but still fair, the location and the facility access
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was excellently located for all the normal visitor attractions and was in a quiet location. I was glad I booked a Deluxe room as anything smaller would have been cramped.
I liked the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. inflexibility of changes but then that was stated when I made the booking. So other than that I liked everything.
Nice, cosy little hotel taking the price into account, the room was too small
Location was great. Hotel was intimate. A nice boutique hotel. Breakfast should have been included. Most guests had breakfast included. On the first day, the restaurant told me it was included, and then I found out we were charged 35 eu pp. Bed were not very comfortable.
For the one night I stayed this struck me as a delightfully elegant, superbly located, old fashioned hotel that feels rather luxurious with it's thick carpets, old world furniture and generously sized rooms all at a great price.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. It takes 10 stairs to reach the elevator.
The deskstaff permitted us morning check in after our 12 hour flight. A blessing on them. The breakfast and internet were not used due to extravagent cost. I always prefer to have a newspaper in the lobby or the room. Had neither
The situation was excellent..right in the city centre. The staff were very efficient and helpful. No
Location and style Noise of footsteps and child running about from room above. Incorrect account and delay in responding to this - as yet no response.
Location of hotel, service at hotel, room condition & room facility, everything is satisfactory level. As minor negative impression, noise from other room is loud a little bit.
Availability of hamman and sauna for the guest as well as gym
Perfect location to walk to all the obvious attractions; 5 mins to Opera, 20 mins to Louvre, etc. Staff attentive & friendly > barman in particular was excellent.
Staff very pleasant. Rooms clean and reasonable size. Good central location.
The location was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel looked inviting and was extremely clean, as were our accomations. The size and comfort of the computer/internet rooms could be improved.
breakfast yes. the night clerck, although correct, was somewhat unpleasant. the film channel was out of order as was the internet connection.
A very good location, within easy walking distance of the Louvre. Rooms were very clean and well presented. The room was small, and the en-suite was tiny and difficult to negotiate. The air contitioning did not work making the room very hot. If you had the window open for fresh air the noise of the traffic became intolerable.
In the rooms was a heavy smell maybe from paste or paint and one had to stand in line for breakfast ( too small dining room.
Superb location - close to Champs Elysees and all the shopping. Perfect location for our visit to Grand Palais. Excellent Wifi once we got it working. Bathroom door handle was a bit dodgy and wifi took a couple of attempts to get going, but nothing major.
The hotel was extremely clean and well appointed. This type of hotel is what we would expect to stay at in Australia.
CLEANLINESS COMFORT VERY PLEASANT STAFF BREAKFAST ROOM TO SMALL
I liked on of the receptionists, she was very kind and helpful
Club Lounge is amazing with all day champagne and food throughout the day. Aspects of the rooms are getting a bit old fashioned - no plug by the bed to charge mobiles, for instance.
I liked the location that provides easy access to the most important business, banking, touristic and shopping places. I would prefer to stay in modern hotel with new design and young profile, and in particular I need to have free access to the internet. This service is not a privilege these days ans all hotels provide it free.
I liked very much the luxury of the rooms and of course the perfect location in the heart of paris. the best cafes and food. and the very welcoming and helpful staff. Not at all.
It is a beautiful hotel and very luxurious. no.
It is a very luxurious and well located hotel Most of the staff is very inpolite! We could not check in on time, one of our rooms was ready only 1 hour after correct check in time and the other one 4 hours later. In the meantime, no forecast was given and a lot of other guests were able to check in.
It was great and very luxury hotel the spa and restaurant was very nice
The location was excellent. Can access to most of touristic place, including Marais, St. Germain des pres, etc. This is not only InterContinental Paris Le Grand, but...I think the room rate of hotels in Paris is way too high. I stayed in one of standard rooms and it was 395 euros...and the rack rate is 700 euros per night for the same room !
The laocation to the stores To far away from the lifts and services, a mouse where food was being served.
I was very disappointed because of the air condition, I was keep telling the hotel everyday and every hour during my stay to fix the air condition but they did nothing and keep saying we cannot do anything more, the room was hot and couldn't stay comfort or sleep!
Very central to major shopping centres.the staff are very cordial and helpful Very slow restaurant services,we had to wait almost one hour before our meal came that was in the main restaurant in the evening.i would not recomend guests to eat at the hotel.the food is expensive and not up to standard.would recomend the hotel except for the food
Excellent ubication, service and personnel attention exceeds expectations particularly the Concierge staff. Cafe de La Paix stills very good.
clean room, friendly staff, big and comfortable bathroom, close to city center and subway stations. the room is small and dark, may be uncomfortable for long stays. The elevator of the hotel is old and too small.
Great location, Hotel seems to be recently renovated - Very clean, Friendly staff (who speaks English). All in all - A very good experience, Great value for money (I paid 112 euro per night for a twin room, including breakfast - which was quite good actually) Rooms are small, but from previous experiance I can state that it well fitted the standard of a 3 stars hotel in Paris
I chose this hotel because it is one block from my sons apartment in Paris, as such the location was excellent for me. I was also pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and the bathroom, which are notoriously small in Paris. These on the other hand were of a good size, comfortable, space for my bags and even a small varanda to boot. Quite pleasant.
Convenient location for sight seeing. Plenty of places to eat close by. Liked having windows that opened onto a balcony for natural fresh air. Air conditioning was very effective too so always came back to a cool room. Breakfast was not included in price and we found too expensive so did not partake.
The hotel is good enought. I liked it. No
Staff was helpful and pleasant. Location was a bit remote and rooms extremely small, like the size of a cruise.
Location of the Hotel is really good for city tourists. Metro and Bus stop are quite near, even so district is easeful. Hotel is clean, receptionists speak perfect Engilsh, always regardant and helpful.
Free of charge wifi connection Small room
the one of night shift staff was very poor attitude
peace and quite no car parking
Apart from friendlyness of the hotel staff, close to metro and shopping area and that's it... Very tiny small room with tiny bed. One important thing is the room got very bad smell and toilet stink... Not recommend
