large rooms, view of river, lighted pool, nice lobby, locations not crazy about wifi in room.. took fee off the bill but was confusing.
It does maintain the Marriott standards The hallways are noisy at night
Room was nice and comfortable, looked to be recently remodeled. Nothing is included. I had to pay extra to park, extra for the wifi and extra for the breakfast. If I had known this I definitely would have not stayed here. Staff seemed very busy and did not have time to answer any questions that you might have.
We were unable to reach our hotel. No one told us when we made our reservations that Mardi Gras parades (at least two) would be passing by our hotel after 4:00 p.m. (which is check in) making it impossible to get to our hotel. We waited in traffic for over 3 hours trying to reach our hotel, then the New Orleans police started diverting all the traffic and set up barriers making it impossible to be anywhere near Canal Street. The front desk at the Marriott told us they couldn't guarantee we could reach the hotel by midnight. We had to drive to Baton Rouge to get a hotel and missed out being with family the next day for our grandchild's 1st birthday.
Great location. Close to everything in the French Quarter. Friendly and helpful staff
Perfect location to explore new orleans The elevators were terrible. Waited up to 10 minutes for the cars to show up each time!
Great location. Small, dated room. Constant noise from Neighbors and some mechanical work or failing equipment.
Lobby was excellent. Open and spacious with good food and service. Great for watching games and spending time with a large group. Small room
The rooms were clean, rooms comfortable, location great, and the staff were accommodating. There was no fridge in the room, and free wifi was only on the lobby.
Best staff ever!!! Very good location. One of the safest hotels in NOLA. ***** stars!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Made us feel special. The rooms were nice and the new beds were the most comfortable I have experience in any hotel. The only complaint is they need to put more outlets in the room. I would stay at the Hotel Marriott again.
Riverside view, mall access from hotel, cleanliness Pool closed due to weather, could have used a microwave and unclear channels.
beds were very comfortable! Great location! Clean room. pool was cold its a southern state would be better heated. The refridge hummed the whole time. We had to plug it in when we got to the room. Wifi should be free for all. Its 2016 after all. Some english speaking house keepers would be nice as to have communcation instead of a yes from the staff when they clearly dont understand. maybe offer engllish classes to staff that wants to learn.
location was awesome parking fee was ridiculous could hear guest in the hallway check in was confusing, you had to be a hilton honor to get faster service
Close to casino, Bourbon Street and restaurants. Air conditioner didn't work. We had to call several times for it to get fixed. After it improved it didn't last long. We had to call again. It never was fixed.
It was very close to the French Quarter Festival activities. The rooms were nice and we loved having appetizers and drink at the bar after a busy day of activities.
The room had a mildew smell
Great stay with a great staff. The hotel is located on the riverside which allows for easy access to the river walk, the auditorium, Harrah's Casino and Drago (which is in the hotel).
The hotel was in a great location and very walkable to various New Orleans attractions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to change my room to a double queen and check-in early as well as do a late check out until 3 which I appreciated. The room was a nice size for two people. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would like. There was hair left over from the previous occupant. The blanket was also dirty when I separated it from the sheet.
They charged extra for wifi and the gym. I thought this was tacky when paying over $200 a night forms room.
Clean Overnight parking rates are ridiculous over $40 a night
Great location, although it is dominated by convention attendees. Very pricy, but the mall is close. Apparently the official policy of the Hotel is that if you are in your room when the maid comes by, you don't get your room serviced that day. That can happen as early as 10AM. The maid leaves a little card that requires you to call Housekeeping to get some service, maybe. The maid does not recheck your room, even though they are on the floor for several additional hours. I have never seen a policy like that before.
Hotels is priced right and was nicer than expected
Worse staff at any hotel I have ever stayed. I have stayed at hotels around the world & staff at this hotel in New Orleans is by far worse in the world. Desperate need for professional staff training!
nice location. rooms were clean and no musty odor(its new Orleans) ended up booking through a 3rd party to get room, not a normal process. they did well however.
When we travel to New Orleans, we stay at the Westin. It is a great location. We can walk to whatever we want to do or take the trolley. That we couldn't stay longer this time.
Beautiful hotel very comfortable I have two $50 charges on my credit card upon arrival that were poorly explained and I was told they would be refunded by now but they have not been. It feels like the hotel is charging me the difference between the hotels.com price I paid and the walk in price.
I have always stayed here but this time the services was so bad !! They couldn't find my reservation and the stuff was rude
Hotel was overbooked! Never experienced anything like this before! Will never book online again! Horrible experience. Could not stay at this hotel!
I really like the proximity to shopping, restaurants, and the aquarium. The restaurant was closed
Everything, best bed and bedding ever! Room service prices were too expensive for the quality of the food
View from room Tired liooking
The Westin is located on the riverfront, about a four or five block walk from the heart of the French Quarter. We loved the extra walk back and forth to meet friends given all the food indulges in NOLA. Staff was fabulous.
Cleanliness, polite staff Room was warm
Location Needs to be updated. The bathroom door needed painting.
They gave us a King rm instead of a double that we booked , we had 3kids with us. No double rms available so they upgraded us to a suite and gave us roll aways for the kids. Room was gorgeous,49th floor with wall of windows (amazing view of city and river) plus gave us a $100 in house credit. Totally made up for their mistake. Hotel and location was great. Parking was $43 per nt
The hotel is in a great location and the lobby is nice The hotel was overbooked the first night. They told us upon check in that our room would be ready in about 20 mins as it was being cleaned. It wasn't ready until midnight. The room we had reserved was a double room, they ended up giving us a king room that had been smoked in by the prior guests (there were still ashes in the bathtub). We asked if they could send up a cot - which never arrived. Luckily the second night they switched our rooms. Overall we were pretty disappointed.
Room was excellent and very comfortable view was spectacular I was ticked right off at the $48 parking charge. I likely won't be back. I would rather this information be included right up front when booking.
The decor and view Smell of the towels were like smoke
There isn't self parking, valet only I upgraded my stay to include free Breakfast but wasn't worth it
The location I didn't like the fact I had to change rooms at midnight due to there being a MOUSE in my room. I was told I'd have a $100 credit to my room and that someone would assist me in moving. Whoever came up just handed us a key to the new room and left. I wasn't assisted with a cart to move. The new room was 12 floors higher but way more spacious. I was content until the next morning I went to shower and there was pubic hair or something slapped across the back of the shower meaning no one bothered to clean the shower....it probably could have been easily removed with a wipe of a cloth but apparently that was too much effort. As I checked out I mentioned my $100 credit which I now learned went back to the hotel. The fact that it was $100 to spend within the hotel was not communicated to me and in my opinion I thought I was going to be refunded $100 from room cost. I was very unhappy with that. How would I know to use the credit before check out and when would I use it between the time I had to transfer all my stuff to another room with no help, sleep, get ready and overcome being disgusted by the shower, and checkout by noon. I would like a refund for my stay. The manager supposedly is communicating with this company since this was a third party ordeal.
Overall the hotel is clean and the service is what you would expect. Food offering was very mediocre or non-existent. I have never seen a 50-story hotel that did not have a dinner restaurant. At the end Of the day there is only the food in the bar....no menu except the bar menu which is very limited. The 2d floor dining for lunch and breakfast was only mediocre.
Very poor insulation between rooms. We had to move from our first room, as it sounded like our neighbors were inside our room. In our second room we backed into the elevators and heard that constantly, but it was better than loud voices.
I love the location and the luxury part of the hotel. The expensive parking.
Staff was awesome. They were always helpful and super nice. Great customer service. Perfect location to most everything we wanted to see. Strange smell in room. Not bad but not good either. Could have used a room freshener. The bathroom is a bit small. We kept hitting the wall with the door each time we opened it.
Got to the front desk to check in and they told me they never received my booking info but my payment was paid in full then they told me all rooms were filled so I had to find another hotel near by but it wasn't to the quality which took 5 hours to process and wasn't compensated anything for their mishap so I will never use the Ahoma.com service again
Where able to check in early and get our room. Very friendly staff
Staff was fantastic. Hotel has a great vibe, great art and great vibe. Highly recommend. My only complaint is the condition of the carpet in the hallway on the Lexington side of the hotel. After we turned the corner, we were a little scared as we headed up that our room would be in similar condition. However, room was great.
Staff was very friendly. Booked a Queen Interior room with no windows. At check-in, the clerk took it upon himself to upgrade us to a Premium King room with two large windows overlooking Tchoupitoulas Street on the front of the hotel. The old coffee warehouse provides a great balance of historic charm with very contemporary decor. Location at the warehouse district is great, being very close to Harrah's and easy walking distance to French Market & Bourbon Street. Best value in New Orleans, without the upgrade! As with most of New Orleans, parking is horrible. Expect to pay $30 for 24 hours in the lot across the street if you can't luck up on one of the few free on-street spaces.
The staff was wonderful and our room was great. Super comfortable beds and fun décor for a good price.
Rustic Look, Coffee, Drinks, Location, Staff Tub/Shower could've been updated but it worked.
Clean and good location. Small, dark room. Unimpressive. Limited outlets. Small window with view of a brick tunnel and beer can. Nothing redeeming. Definitely not with >$200 to stay here. Got a hotel 2 blocks down for half price and much nicer for the remainder of our stay. Did not investigate amenities.
The decor of this place is awesome! It starts with the huge vintage-style lighted sign out front, and everything you see from that point on makes you say, "ooh--look at that!" (in a good way). The gorgeous tile-work on...well, everything, is amazing. And--I wanted to take all of the furniture home with me! The character of this building is something special. You don't complain about the uneven floors because you're staying in an old warehouse! How cool! Exposed brick walls (that aren't fake) are always great--I only wish they had left all of them bare instead of painting some of them. They also had great coffee and blueberry muffins! It was quite warm for this time of year (high 70's in late-November), which of course is nothing new in the south, but the a/c units in the rooms were not so great. Pretty much the same as a window unit-loud, and hard to create an even temp in the room. The ceiling fan was also not great, and that's one thing every bedroom needs in my opinion. The room we had (queen interior deluxe, I think) was pretty small, but we didn't plan to stay inside much anyway. One last thing--watch out for the bed rails! I nailed my shin on the corner of ours three times.
Bedding is fabulous. Staff is friendly. Rooms are decorated in a very modern and fun way. Good location. Fun bar next door with great burgers. Have not tried the restaurant, but the coffee counter is great. Second stay here and would stay again. Insulation is TERRIBLE! On my first stay I could hear footsteps non-stop so this time I requested a top floor room. Although this alleviated the noise above, this time we could hear every word of the neighbors and people in the hall and unfortunately a baby crying woke us up multiple times one night. Next time I will ask for earphones!
Great hotel!!! It's in walking distance to Bourbon st and waterfront to market. We had such a great time!
The staff and rooms were perfection! They even had a treat for our pup and a very reasonable fee for him!
Overall nice staycool Decour trendy Temperature in the room was a bit warm
Super great location and easy access to great restaurant and bar downstairs Need to be more green with option of recycling towels.
This was our second stay. The decor, atmosphere and location are awesome. Very thin walls. Expect to hear other guests getting back into their rooms at all times of the night and early morning. You can hear every word they say, every door they open and every step they take.
Location and staff hospitality are excellent. The rooms are in meed of updating. In my handicapped room there was no desk or work space. The rooms look old.
Whoever stayed in the room before me. Drank 2 bottles of while and then left the bottles in the bar. I brought it to the attention of the front seat and they said they would take care of it. And I also brought it to the attention of house keeping. At the end of my stay, you guessed it I got charged for the 2 bottles. Also I requested ice 4 times and never got any.
We loved our stay! Hope to be back very soon!
Everything you could ever want in a luxury hotel is on display here at Windsor Court. Rooms are well decorated, beds are over the top comfortable, every member of staff was very very helpful and cordial. Richard at check in, Marissa, Alyx, Kim and Paul in the Club were a few to mention but everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you. Location is perfect-coveniant to everything. This is THE place to stay when visiting NOLA!!
Nice pool area with bar. Upscale room. Long line to retrieve car from valet.
Don't sell King beds if you don't have them available.
The service was fantastic. Everyone was very helpful!
I like the fact that it was close to where I wanted to go easy to get around town. The only problem is that someone did call in the middle of the night trying to poach my credit card but they told me about that upon my arival. They've been having problems with someone messing with their customers.
Free hot breakfast, rooms were clean, on main streets so no walking on sketchy back roads late at night, bed was comfortable and pillows weren't those expensive fluffy pillows that are good for nothing, water pressure was great, shower was nice, staff was friendly, a/c worked great. No cons...
We had a wonderful stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially John, the Valet. The room was great, and the location of the hotel was too. We will be back! Nothing, except we didn't get to stay longer
Breakfast was fine, close to the sites Charged me $150 for deposit and still haven't gotten it back.
Great location and staff was wonderful! They picked us out a room on the 8th floor with a beautiful view of Canal Street and the Mississippi River. Will book again on our next trip back to New Orleans.
Malcolm worked at the front. He was extremely sweet and helpful, giving great recommendations on where to go and what to do. He was always very happy and looked like he loved his job, which most people dont look like.
I like the fact that the hotel staff especially the Front Desk Manager Tashena Johnson helped me out when my credit card was compromised. She did the best she could to make my stay as comfortable as it should have been. The location was great. Not to far from everything attended. I didn't like the way my reservation was not in the system when I arrived and I didn't like the 1:00am phone call asking for authorization...
The staff was very friendly. Valet parking was fast and very nice. They held our luggage after checkout so we could go to the Saints game which was fantastic. Price we paid for a single King Size bed was sort of outrageous
Location was perfect! A short walk to everything, but not so close that there was street noise. I also enjoyed the exposed brick walls, and my corner/wrap-around room was very spacious and full of natural light!! A/C worked great, and the number of towels provided was more than sufficient. Pillows were flat and needed more stuffing in them. The sheets were a bit rough/scratchy.
Very nice hotel! We had a beautiful corner room with a good amount of space and two comfortable double beds. Breakfast was basic, but great, and the staff was very nice. Clean and a great location! I only have one complaint -- I was frustrated that our towels were changed everyday, even if we hung them up. But otherwise, everything was great!
Everyone on the staff was so friendly and sincere about it. They were always will yo help us figure out things to do and where to go. This will not b our last trip to this great hotel! And the ladies who did breakfast were great! Nothing! It was a great week. It is just a well worn place.
Nothing Rooms are mold ritten dusty musty just very bad I'm sick as a dog from this place and I paid almost 400 dollars a night
The location was alright, within walking distance to the French Quarter. The rooms had vaulted ceiling and were really well decorated. Kcup machines in each room for mornings. Bathroom and sheets were clean. The building and more specifically our room smelled so bad of mold that we tried to get our room moved. They wouldn't move our room and wouldn't refund any money so we couldn't check out and leave. A week since staying here and I am still suffering from acute bronchitis, myself and every one of my friends who stayed in my room have the same illness. Our sink leaked constantly and soaked the carpet in the walkway of our room only making the mold smell worse. Housekeeping there my personal belongings on the floor, like my personal pillow and left it there. The carpet was gross and always seemed damp, along with the curtains. Beware if you have an allergy to mold.
The inside of the building is very beautiful and the bathroom was amazing. Bed was comfy and staff was very kind and inviting. NO WINDOWS in some of the rooms, and half of the outlets didn't work.
Location; charm No windows!!! Poor lighting; old; not enough outlets and the one in the bathroom didn't work for my plug; not a great ambience; small beds if sharing; no fan in bathroom.
Good location Indifferent staff, mildewy smell covered up by perfume, dark room, noisy air conditioning, dark room. You can do much better.
Friendly staff. Clean room. Great location.
Wonderful historic hotel. We chose a small interior room as we never planned to spend much time in the room. Without windows though, it was easy to oversleep so I recommend setting an alarm. The bed was comfortable. The room had everything we needed: iron, coffee, refrigerator, toiletries and blow dryer. Leftovers in the fridge from previous guest. No bar in the hotel - we knew that going in but we found ourselves saying that it would have been nice.
I'd say the biggest con for me personally was the lack of a fitness room, staff could have been a bit more welcoming, I didn't find the customer service to be the best--but the room was nice enough and the location was great-overall an okay experience.
The room is too small and has no window.
Location and a really neat old building. Great bathrooms No windows and room smelled musty.
Ms. Kenya at the front desk made our trip very wonderful with her service and smile. We like to thank her for her hospitality.
Good price. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Not many amenities
Nice and dark. Super comfy. Convenient to all NoLa has to offer. When I return to New Orleans, I will return to the Pelham.
Very classy and great location. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bed was super comfortable! Little expensive
Nice interiors and free bottled water. They have good beds though, that was a plus. Very poor facilities, in this day and age, no free wifi is just not OK, its a dealbreaker. Its not like they are not charging enough for the room, plus wifi does not cost a lot anyways! And whats with the $45 valet per night? Do they wash your car and paint it?? We thought it was fleecing as they knew that parking is an issue around that neighborhood. Overall just OK place, not worth the effort to stay here.
All the staff we encountered was very friendly and helpful, the front deck clerk at check in especially The hall was a litttle funny smelling
decore style, great location- most things in walking distance, safe, good value. No exhaust fans in bathroom, pool is deceiving from pics, much smaller in person.
I liked how clean and modern it was. It was very expensive for what we got. The only parking they had was valet and it was 47$ a night. After paying 415 for the room seems really steep. We were also really crunched for time Sunday am and had to wait about 20 minutes to get our car which was frustrating. When they tell you to call ten minutes ahead to have your car ready for you.
This trip was my first time to the south, and the staff at Le Meridien were very polite and professional. Everywhere from the bell hop during the day, to the bartender at night, to the front desk reception. The in-room service was excellent, the food and wine hit the spot. The location was a bit farther from the convention center then I anticipated but it was nice to have a little stroll to and from the conference to the hotel. I really like the decor at Le Meridien. The pool and gym were fantastic! I did not like how expensive the in-room service fee is. I was charged $4 fee plus another $10 fee, both labeled as in-room service fee's to order dinner up to my room.
Contemporary look, friendly staff, comfort Lack of food options and different times of the day
This was a great hotel and a great value! I enjoyed my stay in the staff did a nice job cleaning the room each morning. The room was very well-equipped and the hotel had a nice lobby, great bar, pool and fitness center. My room even had windows on two sides giving me great views and a feeling of openness. Only low ceiling heights, a tight. Anthropomorphic and carpet as opposed to wood floors keep this hotel from being one of the very best. It has a great boutique feel and killer location near downtown and the French quarter. Low ceiling heights, a tight bathroom and carpet in the room as opposed to wood flooring. These are small comments. The hotel was great!
The location was perfect for us. Not too much congestion, but close enough to walk to the French Quarter and other shops. I also like the decor of the hotel and the beds are very comfortable. No fault of the hotel, but at wee hours in the morning, our drunk neighbors were very very loud in the halls and in their rooms. More sound proofing would be greatly appreciated.
The hotel concierge George and Richard were most helpful!
Hotel was clean and close to everything. Across the street from Luke. Great Oysters 1/2 price Happy Hour 3-5
We were upgraded as Ambassador members, and the suite was lovely, and ever better than a certain other nearby favorite 5 star hotel in NO. Staff was welcoming and the bedding and bathroom superb. We also like the self parking in the adjacent Pan American parking garage--a NO bargain.
Beautiful hotel with extremely close beds and quiet area Not exactly in the French quarter but definitely close
The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom and shower was great especially for New Orleans. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was not included with our room. When my wife called the front desk, they left her with the impression that breakfast was included. We were surprised that it was $27 per person. What a rip off!
I loved everything about this hotel. Extremely close to everything and the staff was excellent
The location was great. The rooms were very nice and clean. The Staff was very helpful. The bartenders at the hotel bar were rude.
The hotel is newly renovated and totally updated and modern from its previously 80s styling. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it was nice before but amazing now. Try a balcony room and go down to one of the bars for a signature New Orleans cocktail. It's 2 blocks from Canal and 3 blocks from Famous Bourbon Street. It's also perfectly located for catching games and events at the super dome. Bout 3-5 blocks. Not a bad walk at all. It's where I stay when I go to watch the Saints
We really loved the room bed and service. The pool was small and dark no sunlight and it was a outside pool that had freezing water. The restaurant connected to the hotel was ok but some of the waitress were really rude and slow we saw 5 family leave during our wait for our drinks. Meanwhile when we got the menus we didn't see anything we wanted so we told the waitress we needed the check. She left and never came back! We had to track her down and talk to her manager to get a check !!!!
Intercontinental is supposed to be IHG's flagship hotel. During my stay I killed three spiders in the bed. The duvet cover was torn and tattered in multiple places. The carpets were not vacuumed. Someone else's dry-cleaning tags were left on the floor (2). The drinking glass in the bathroom had dried toothpaste stains from someone previously before me. For three days in a row I turned the same drinking glass up thinking that it would be washed and would return to my hotel room to find that it had just been flipped over, uncleaned. The best yet was the last night that I stayed the cleaning staff had left a dust in my room by the door. I guess since they werent cleaning they decided to leave the tools for me do their work. The front desk staff seemed unconcerned about the cleanliness and too busy to give it much thought. Valet also higher than any other hotel in area. Will go back to the Holiday Inn Chateau LeMoyne north of the quarter, always clean in 5+ stays there.
Very nice hotel Valet parking $45 a day
no free parking
Room service food was not satisfactory, and would not recommend anyone order from there.
Great place to stay
People were very friendly and knew how to get someone around the city. Room was very nice. Our room was very hot. We had to get a fan and that didn't help much and I am cold natured. Vent in bathroom did not work and tv controller did not work.
Very nice room with comfortable beds. Great value as we stayed on a monday night...perfect location at christmas time to visit for the night...not much happening in the restaurant and lounge..parking a bit high but parked in pay lot next door which allowed us to park at other lots around downtown for the 24 hour period
Not much A/ c didn't work had to sweat all night an the price we paid was a rip off
The staff was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating.
Nice river bridge view in smart room Parking cost expensive but not unlike other hotel parking. We used pan American
Good Location, nice room and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. I'd stay there again!
Delay in getting towels when calling Response time was greater than 30 minutes
Location was convenient, it is walking distance to the French quarter. Staff was friendly, room was clean. Parking is pricey. It is across the street and it is $25 for 24hrs. Beds were really small. Bathroom was also small.
Staff was quick, friendly and helpful Bathroom was first-rate; excellent fixtures and amenities Large room by NOLA standards Great location Plugs by the bed Lobby is very inviting TV difficult to navigate; few stations Pocket door to bathroom not ideal, and ours did not close; however, when we reported this, it was promptly fixed Lots of streetcar noise and sidewalk music on 4th floor facing St. Charles Bedside USB charger did not charge; however, adjacent socket worked; would have been nice to have this on both sides of the bed
Good location. Close enough to walk to the French Quarter but far enough away to get out of the craziness and noise. Right on St. Charles streetcar line- very convenient. Very large room and bathroom. Very clean. Great bed. Good towels. Would definitely stay here again! Expensive but then it is New Orleans! Price was pretty much on par with other hotels of the same type. Huge bathroom but almost nowhere to hang towels. Another towel rack or a few more hooks would have been nice and there was plenty of room for them.
Had a really great time in New Orleans and coming back to our hotel room was always a treat. Fantastic price for a very comfortable room and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. What I did not appreciate was when I went to check out, I was told that mI was being charged for a night of valet: $42. I explained I didn't have a car in NOLA and that we've relied on Lyft the entire time. The staff asked that I was sure I didn't use valet or that maybe a friend had spent the night. I explained again, calmly if somewhat confused, that no, it was just the two of us and that had we a friend with a car, we'd use their car and not taxis/Lyft. I was told it would be taken care of but after breakfast, we went back to the front desk just to make sure. There I was told that someone had used my name to add this charge to my account, asked again if I was sure I didn't have a friend visit - as though this prompt would jog my memory of a friend I'd forgotten about visiting. The manager came out and told me that I would still be charged the $42 until they could launch an "investigation" and then reimburse me. I didn't argue too much but I feel it really is ridiculous that a customer should bear any financial burden for their mix-up. I cannot explain the circumstances but I know I had no car and no guests, so why must I be charged $42 for a mistake made by an international company? I feel as though Hilton could eat the cost of an unsolved mystery, rather than treating the guest as untruthful until proven otherwise. It just seems like bad business and it left a really bad taste in my mouth at the end of a stay at an otherwise lovely stay. No word as to how long this investigation process will take.
Location, service of staff, willingness to help Everything was great
Loved this hotel! Wish we would've booked all 4 nights here! The only reason we stayed here Saturday night was because the Sheraton on Bourbon didn't have a room available. We had booked the Sheraton sun through weds and then decided we were going to New Orleans Saturday also. Needless to say, will stay here anytime I go to New Orleans! AWESOME hotel! Beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was huge! And this hotel is well within walking distance of the French Quarter! Staff is very friendly!
Location, beds were very comfortable, clean rooms Had no hot water in the shower and the staff was not very helpful to remedy the issue. Hallways were very noisy and it seemed like a door was always slamming. Parking was expensive (40/night)
Close to French Quarter. Very expensive for the quality of the room, our windows were facing a wall, the room was located on the third floor. The front desk had poor customer service.
LOCATION Asked for wash rags twice. Even went down to front deak in person. Never got them.
The room was spacious (we chose space over views) and the beds were comfortable. Very clean and the maid service was excellent - my colleague's wallet fell out of her bag inside the room as we rushed out to dinner and the maid put it on the center of the bed so we could see it immediately when we got back. The room was quiet (on the top floor) and the location is an easy walk to the French Quarter. Tried to order room service and couldn't get through to either the number in the menu or the number on the phone (which were different). After half an hour, called the front desk and told them the issue; they said they would call the restaurant manager and have her call my room directly. That took another half an hour and then the order I got was wrong. Didn't have time to call and correct it, so I paid $35 for the wrong breakfast and went outside the hotel the rest of the trip. Should have realized when there wasn't a pre-order form to place on the door that ordering breakfast in might not be a regular routine? When checking out, I asked for a copy of the bill showing the total paid with a zero remaining balance, which I need for travel reimbursements at work. Was told I would need to get that through the booking service (I used Kayak, which I find dependable). I was able to convince the person checking me out that I needed a hotel bill that showed I do not owe any balance, but this shouldn't require so much time and explanation - don't people stay here frequently enough for business that staff understand the standard documentation process? As a frequent traveler, I haven't had this issue anywhere else with a rating above 3 stars.
While I was there, the hotel was in the process of converting from a Wyndham to an Omni. There was a lot going on including replacing a lot of bedding and other fixtures in the rooms. There was a little bit of a disarray. By the time I checked out, the conversion it already happened and everything seemed fairly orderly. I would probably stay at the new Omni.
When we arrived door service was great but the front desk lady was very disrespectful. We arrived a couple hours early before our original check in time at 3 and it seemed like she was bothered by a previous incident. No eye contact and we could barely hear her speak because she spoke so low. The overall stay was mediocre, the last night fire alarms continued to go off through out the night making it extremely hard to get a good rest.
Very nice helpful staff! Everything we wanted to see and do was pretty much within walking distace. It was nie to have a mall across the street!!!
When you first walk into the Omni Riverfront the lobby is very very upscale with the bar being right there also the staff was excellent with William at the bar and I know I'm going to say her name wrong but we checked in later in the evening and raylon was absolutely the best and we do a fair amount of traveling and she was absolutely friendly and fantastic she almost made me cancel my other reservations for the rest of my stay to stay at the Omni Riverfront they are blessed to have her Everything was perfect
Everything. Omni always rules Everything was exceptional
Staff was wonderful, the room was spacious, the bathroom luxurious and the location was excellent for access to French quarter and riverside shopping. Parking is always expensive in New Otleans. The valet staff was very courteous and attentive. They helped to make the sting of the cost bearable.
Just outside the French Quarter Parking
We enjoyed staying at the Omni. Very comfortable beds, courteous staff. Hotel is located away from all the hustle and bustle but still within walking distance of everything. There was an outlet center right across the street which was great too.
Overall the room was nice, the staff was friendly, and the building and our room were very clean. We had booked a deluxe king size room and when we got to our room it was two double beds. The woman that checked us in had made no mention of the fact tat it wasn't what we reserved. When we called down to switch they told us there was none available. We had only booked the hotel because we wanted a king or queen size bed and had made the reservation selecting that option 2 hours before arriving.
Very convenient location - right across from the Riverwalk and down the street from Harrah's, Fulton Alley, and the Convention Center. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Didn't try the restaurant downstairs as my fiance and I were out and about most of the day. I would definitely stay here again! The door to our bathroom was positioned in such a way that there was a huge gap between the wall and the door. When you were taking a shower, steam could escape and if you were in there long enough, the fire alarm would go off. That was a pain, but other than that, it was a wonderful stay!
It would have been helpful to have clear instructions regarding the fact that an airport shuttle should be booked 24 hours in advance. I was not aware and had to order a cab.
I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to New Orleans, and our lodging was a big part of it. The room was clean, very comfortable bed. All of the staff was very helpful, the concierge gave us many tips.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean. The hotel is just outside of the french quarter so it's a bit quieter, but still within in walking distance. The window in our room looked out into the center of the hotel which was a bit odd.
The front desk staff was so nice! The night we were there - there was a fashion show in the attached art gallery. The vibe of the place is very cool and hip.
Clean lobby. Room came with only 2 towels even though we indicated that we would have four people in the room. We had to ask sever times for towels. When we arrived at the room, there was trash in the waste baskets from a previous guest. On the day of our departure, housekeeping rang the doorbell at 8 am to see if we were checking out. The concierge had very few suggestions for rainy day activities.
I loved the location - only a block from Harrah's/Poydras, nearby lots of great bars and restaurants. The hotel was really nice and I loved all of the artwork. The room was also very nice. The bellhop broke a $50 bottle of Baileys, so I had to walk about 10 blocks in the heat to purchase another bottle, then had to walk another 10 blocks to my car to get the receipt from the first bottle, then walk all the way back to the hotel. They reimbursed me for both bottles, but it would have been nice if they would have taken care of this in another way. A free meal at Legacy would have made up for their mistake.
Great value for a nice hotel. Very clean, nice lobby, good cafe downstairs and nice but small roof top pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very convenient to restaurants & bars and a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter.
Everyone was very helpful. The staff offered advice on local restaurants, places to run, and places to grab a drink. The artwork is beautiful, it's very clean and has worry free parking.
Very clean property Small room, tiny bathroom, charged extra for everything!! (Gift shop was way overpriced in an area where no convenience store exist), they wanted $13 a day for wifi!!!
Good service. Attentive. Good bar and food. Valet parking $45. After tips $50-60 per day for 3 days?
good location, friendly staff! They could not locate our reservation even though we had an email confirmation. We had requested a king sized bed and received two doubles. Disappointing considering it was my 45th birthday.
Bed was very comfortable. Amenity spaces were clean, large and designed well. Roof top pool!!!! Staff was rude. Having a rooftop pool in itself is amazing, but the area could use some modernization
Location. Great staff. The restaurant was very good. The decor was very appealing and pleasant. Internet was pricey and was subpar. A hotel like this should be offering complimentary high-speed internet for the price of the rooms.
Friendly. Great Art. Clean. Bar closed at 11.
