I did not get the rental that I reserved, and instead the car I got had a more cramped cabin with less features than I wanted. The pickup and dropoff location was also changed from the airport to a location 20 minutes away. Since Hertz did not have a shuttle, I had to pay for a Lyft both ways.Reviewed 9 Apr 2025

Even though I dropped it off early, they didn't check my car back in until a day later and are charging me extra rental and late fees. Their customer service is terrible. I will have to do a credit card charge back most likely.Reviewed 11 Feb 2025

Hertz is one of the rental companies "of last resort" for me and I remembered why on this trip. Surprise $25 charge to "upgrade" to a gas-powered vehicle from the "supplier's choice" EV. I have no objection to EVs, but the requirement to charge the vehicle before returning when the rental facility has chargers is a deal breaker when the car has to be returned early in the morning after a drive. The car we got had relatively high mileage for a rental and the Bluetooth functionality barely worked. Staff was... fine. Not exactly friendly but not not helpful.Reviewed 19 Nov 2024

Branch Manager, Marcos Alarcon, is a conman (hence the last name). I arrived to pick up my reserved vehicle, and was denied for various reasons that were not disclosed in writing prior to arrival.
