Pros: The staff was helpful and friendly, and the hotel was very pretty. My room was small and expensive, but reasonable compared to most places in Copenhagen.
Cons: My room didn't come with a breakfast. It's not a big thing, I'm just saying.

Pros: We stayed in the annex, Absalon City Hotel's cheap section. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to everything in Copenhagen, especially Tivoli Gardens.
Cons: Part of staying in the annex is shared bathroom facilities - the only downside. However, this is what you pay for in the cheaper lodging in the annex, so it's definitely a good value.

Pros: Clean, comfy, nice rooms. Good location, right near main metro but in a quiet area.
Cons: They put us in the Annex rather than the Hotel-- so shared bathrooms and shared shower for 20 rooms (instead of the hotel's usual private bathroom). We had booked via kayak for 'hotel' at their lowest room price ($96), but there was no mention in the booking that it was just for the Annex, so I felt downgraded without notification-- the price was a bit high for a hostel (but not totally unreasonable-- the place is very nice). The Annex is more like a Hostel and was fine for 1 night, but probably not useful for folks who want their own bathroom.

Pros: This is the perfect hotel for you to use if you are planning on getting to the Copenhagen airport. The Central Train Station is a very short walk from the hotel where you can pick up a train that will deliver you to the airport in three, short stops. The hotel's location is also great if you want to go to Tivoli Garden and enjoy the downtown restaurants or walk around on the pedestrian streets. Overall, the hotel room was very clean and the room was sufficiently large so that you're not crowded. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. A small safe was provided for storage of items you don't want out in the open. An early breakfast starting at 6:30AM was provided as part of the room cost which worked well for us before starting on our trip back home. The breakfast had everything you would want, including hot service such as eggs, cold cut meats, bread, yogurt, etc. Well done! I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.
Cons: There were only two, small things that I didn't like about the hotel; the lack of soap for the shower and their system of storing bags should you arrive before your room is available. Usually, hotels will provide a hard bar of soap you can take into the shower or else provide a dispenser for a body wash liquid in the shower. In this case, there was no hard soap available and the body wash liquid dispenser was outside of the shower over the sink requiring you to open the curtain and lean out. Not a big deal. Their storage of your bags if you arrive early is a little curious. The front desk will take your name and check on your room's availability. In the meantime, if you want to store your luggage, the hotel will give you a key card that allows you access to a luggage storage room. You retain this key card until you are formally checked in. Once checked in, your room key will also open the luggage storage room. Unfortunately, everyone else who arrives early also gets a key card. Thus any luggage you've placed into the storage room is now open to everyone else who also gets an access card while waiting for their room as well as those who have a room card. I would think that controlling the access to the "luggage room" to only hotel staff would make more sense from a security perspective.

Pros: The staff really, really tries to please you. Bike rental is approximately $20/day and bikes are all well serviced and cared for. Breakfast is very generous.
Cons: The smell of house cleaning products didn't work for us. The closed windows did cut street noise very well but then there was a lack of fresh air. Bathtub (small) could use a grab bar. location is in transition. Sex shops across the street but a short walk away are great restaurants and design shopping.

Pros: Great location, steps to the central train station (15 min. ride to the airport). The room was very comfortable, well appointed, and extremely clean, while and the lobby a great place to relax and the garden and sidewalk tables and chairs are perfect for smokers. Excellent value for the price.
Cons: Rooms do not have air conditioner and, while the city's temperature in August was cool, keeping the windows open at night was not an option because of the street noises generated by people. The staff graciously gave us a second room, which was significantly better in terms of noise, but you still could hear people eating breakfast in the garden

Pros: The hiotel is very well lcoated, minutes away from Tivoli Garden and the central station. It's clean, with very pretty rooms and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice, in a big, bright room. It also has a very welcoming reception, where you can sit and relax while planning your day or waiting for your friends to get ready.
Cons: The wifi signal in the bedrooms was weak. At night, the area is a bit noisy and in the middle of the red light district.

Pros: The architecture is a great mix of old world and contemporary. The wood ceiling and support beams in the guest rooms and the brick arches down the center of the hallways make this a one of a kind location.

Pros: This is an iconic hotel on water in the very center of the city. Ofelia Plads is right next to the hotel (with tango on weekend nights in the summer). The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have seen (but it can get crowded if you go there at a wrong time).
Cons: The rooms with windows facing the street, as opposed to water, are less nice and noisier.

Pros: Easy to find your way back to. Not far from food and shops. A neat place to stay, wish we had the time to stay longer.
Cons: Corner of the bed sticking out where you bump your shin and trip as you pass through the room. A bit narrow between furniture and bed.

7.7
Pros: The location was excellent, near canals and cafes and the concierge staff was very helpful.
Cons: My room had beams that kept me from easily getting out of bed, and I hit my head badly on one just sitting down in the chair. My phone had been turned off by the prior occupant, and so I missed my wakeup call. The maids should have looked for that and restored service so that didn't happen.
Excellent
9.4
Pros: cool hotel in good location with friendly and efficient front desk staff. Close to great shopping and good sites. Easy to get to from public transit.
Cons: The hallways to the rooms sort of ruin the "luxury" impression of the hotel. The thick walls of the original structure run right through them, so they're difficult to navigate and closed in. I think some people would like the mystique of it, so depends on your view of that sort of thing.

Pros: Perfect location, right next to the University
Cons: Rooms for a hotel in this category are a bit spartan. The hotel is showing some wear and tear. Biggest problem was the noise. It was late September and the weather was not hot, not cold. The hotel had turned on the heat, despite my trying to turn it off. The heat was considerable. I opened the windows to get fresh air and keep the room bearable, but the street noise (all night) was incredibly loud. The hotel is right next to the University, so it was not a surprise as students come home from the bars (until 6am), but it led to a night of little sleep.

Pros: Hotel was modern, clean and overall it was a nice stay. Quality of the free breakfast was better than most. The hotel is close to the hop-on hop-off boat and bus stop, so if you buy the 48 hour sight seeing tour you can hop on the boat that takes you to several stops around the city... This almost makes up for the hotels fairly poor location...
Cons: Location is on the outskirts of the city so it's about a 15-20 minute walk into the city... We had a problem with our room keys where they didn't work and we had to get new keys at the front desk... This happened twice... and the second time was after breakfast on the day we were checking out... I had to wait about 10 minutes in a line at the front desk to get new keys...

Pros: The staff were not just professional but incredibly nice. I would stay here again without a 2nd thought. Christian at the front desk was incredibly helpful not just during check-in but also when guiding us about sightseeing. The room design is absolutely lovely. It is a pleasure to walk into a hotel with such thoughtful design. Breakfast was an excellent spread too. Nothing that I felt was missing.
Cons: There were some minor issues with the room - previous occupant threw stuff down the drain that clogged the sink. I feel cleaning staff should have notified maintenance since it was a significant clog but the staff were incredibly responsive when I reported it. One thing that I didn't care for was the half length glass protection in the shower. I found it took too much effort to not splash water outside the tub.

Pros: The easy access this hotel has to many of the sites that are to be seen in Copenhagen. This hotel is only worth it, if you wish to have easy access to everything. I would not recommend staying at this hotel if individuals wish to have a nice hotel experience. My wife and I realized it was not worth staying at this hotel.
Cons: We did not like that the rooms were way too small. The rooms portrayed online and through the websites make the rooms appear bigger than they are. It was hard for my wife and I to move around and we only had backpacks with us. The bathroom was another story and we hated it. The bathroom floor is literally one floor where you stand on which you shower, go bathroom, and use the mirror. The toilet holder was barely holding onto the wall and fell off a couple times and the towel holders were in the same condition.

Pros: The rooms are large and modern. The room rate includes free breakfast & WiFi, a free airport shuttle, and there are Metro & bus stations in easy walking distance, so downtown Copenhagen and the rest of Denmark are easily reached via public transport. Not much history and atmosphere compared to the older hotels in the city, but can't beat the value (when there is no major exposition at the Bella Center).
Cons: On the down-side- The hotel location itself is pretty isolated- if you want to eat a meal away from the hotel, you will need to take the Metro. Also, there can be a lot of tourist bus traffic- the breakfast room gets overwhelmed, as does the front desk at checkout. Unlike most US travel industry, their website does not give the lowest rates- I usually go to one of the travel websites to get a much lower rate than the hotel's direct booking website, and have found that often a rate search conducted from a Danish IP address gets a significantly lower rate than from a US IP address (and sometimes the reverse!)

Pros: We've just stayed 4 nights in the Bella Sky Comwell in Copenhagen. The hotel is beautifully designed - with its two leaning towers it is a design I've never seen anywhere else. The hotel is located just 3 minutes walk from the metro, there is a bus station right in front of the hotel and the train station is just one metro station away. It is about 10 minutes drive from the airport when the roads are empty. they have a shuttle to and from the airport most of the time. The room was pretty - and looking at the cold weather outside from the 21st floor made it look better. The room is not too big but large enough, a nice TV set, lamps for reading in bed, there is a nice bathroom, a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee. The staff was very helpful and their English was perfect. The breakfast is rich and tasty. The Library restaurant has a small selection of plates but what we've tried was very good. The grill restaurant was OK but the prices are high - as anywhere in this city. All in all - we had a great weekend vacation.

Pros: Very cool exterior architectural design. Lobby was nice. Basalt Restaurant food was very good and unique preparations. Basalt wait staff was very nice and pleasant.
Cons: Rooms were very small and basic. Chairs in the room were not very comfortable. I would compare this room to an economy hotel. Not something I would have ever expected from an AC Marriott hotel. Basalt restaurant was extremely expensive for what I ordered. Your probably better off going to one of the other two restaurants in the building. The wait for checking in and checking out were ridiculously long for the number of people in line. They spent much to much time describing all that was available in the hotel. As a business traveler All I want you to do is check me in hand me the key and say thank you for being a loyal member. besides the fact that it's a Marriott hotel and close to the airport I don't think I would ever stay here. Pros: This is a superior hotel, starting with the unique Danish design. The hotel is built with a slope but when in the hotel you do. ot notice. The hotel location is very close to the airport about 10 minutes and is located a. short straight walk to the metro. The Bella Center is five stops from downtown The hotel is very modern and very Danish in design(open). The hotel is part of shopping and convention center. The hotel room is very large by euro standards with a large modern and open design When you enter the room the HD TV and telephone have you name shown welcoming to the hotel. My room had queen bed. The bathroom was huge and had a large shower. The room had great lighting and a nice hair dryer. Additional, the hotel provided free buffet breakfast that was complete. Included coffee , tea, bread, cereal, fruit, yogurt , Scrabled eggs, bacon , cheese, turkey and ham slices and. sweet rolls. It was quite good. The hotel also provided a free shuttle to the airport. I thought this was a great hotel and an even better value! My only complaint is the lack of glasses in the bathroom, they provided paper cups ,which I felt was not in keeping with the very high standard for this hotel.
Cons: Paper cups in the bathroom.

Downtown Copenhagen is 5 stops by Metro. Excellent conference center with multiple theaters and support services. Even has a huge Coi fish pond and a modern windmill outside.
Cons: Location is not in the city but Metro stop is only one block away. Denmark is expensive. Hotel has several restaurants that serve great, really expensive, food. Don't be shy about using metro to access shops and restaurants. Shuttle to airport was booked by the time checked in so we took taxi to airport.

Pros: Breakfast was wonderful! From the great breads to the juice ipad to the yogurt bar, sliced cheese contraption, and the fresh homemade lemonades/teas. We left every day stuffed and skipped lunch. Extremely efficient - even on New Years when everyone in the building seemed to be checking out, staff were able to get through a line of people backed around to the elevators in about 15 minutes. The building is stunning.
Cons: You might think it's far removed from downtown by looking at a map, but it's only a 10 minute trip downtown and a train ticket is easy to acquire. The beds were two twins pushed together, basically, which is not the most ideal setup for a couple. Also, the down comforter was SO warm that I was sweating through the sheets...which is unusual.

Cons: It's a personal thing but I would have loved a bath, no room option was available. Also my TV didn't work. Pros: The whole experience was wonderful. Our room was comfortable, beds great, and the bath, shower was the best and the view was beautiful. Breakfast had a good assortment of eggs, meats, cheeses, cereal and pastries, all delicious. We had drinks and smacks in their Sky lounge very pleasant and tasty.

Pros: Interesting architecture
Cons: Poor service. From not helping with luggage, making excuses, promising shuttles at wrong times etc. I'd stay away from this property l. Marriott should really review the management here.
"Located in Copenhagen City Centre, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Oksnehallen, Tivoli Gardens and City Hall Square. Stroeget and National Museum of Denmark are also within 15 minutes. Pros: The Indian restaurant around the corner was good and the area was quiet
Cons: The room was very dusty and garbage was laying about. The fridge was filled with products to buy so there was no room to put anything. The breakfast was so late in the morning that we had to leave for the airport before eating and the reception desk closes early in the evening and opens late in the morning with no one available during those times.

Pros: The location was very convenient with just a short walk to the train station, restaurants, and Tivoli gardens. The beds were comfortable and the room had a sink in it for easy access.
Cons: I thought when the description said "shared bathroom" it meant like a dorm or locker room with stalls to accommodate the entire hallway. But NO. This place had 1 private washroom for a hallway of about 5 guest rooms. With multiple guests per room. There was 1 toilet, and 1 shower, and 1 door. There's no fans or AC, which I expected, but if you open your windows for air be prepared for the noise of drunk guests at the bars and strip club down the street.

Pros: I had low expectation as Copenhagen hotels are expensive and you don't get much for your money. We stayed at Square for $250/night including breakfast, wifi and taxes. Room was decent size for a European hotel. Breakfast buffet selection was sufficient. Location is central. Overall, I would stay at the hotel again.

Pros: The hotel is very nice inside, the staff was friendly and relatively quick to serve you. The hotel was located right in the center of the city, so far everything is a short walk. The hotel appeared clean, it was beautifully decorated with fall decor when we stood there. The rooms themselves were clean with no odors or anything like that. Overall the hotel was a good experience.
Cons: The hotel rooms were nice but they were a bit small. Our room faced a brick wall so there was no view, nada. When we got to the hotel at 4pm they told us that the room wasn't ready, which was annoying. Aside from that our experience at the hotel was pleasurable.

Pros: facility and location
Cons: the hotel was not in full capacity in low season. the room given to us was all the way in the back next to the dumpster with utilities view. When requested a different room with a more decent view, received the same response of having no other room in the same category and requested higher price for a different room. My reservation was not cheap, and i don't think is fair to be in an unpleasant room when the hotel has available capacity to make its guests´stay pleasant.

Pros: Location was perfect, on the edge of the old town and close enough to great restaurants and bars and fabulous parks. The staff, from check in through breakfast, bar, meal to check out, were very friendly and helpful. The bar area was very lively, with plenty to do including various bar games and petanque. Stayed two separate nights (around a couple of nights in Malmö).
Cons: The bunk beds are quite small, with very little head room on the lower bunk - I now have a lovely little scar on top of my head!

Pros: Location, location, location! The hotel is located in the city center and within walking distance from most of the must see attractions in Copenhagen. Pros: This hotel was surprisingly nice. Location was great, staff was excellent, breakfast convenient and room very nice. My only complaint is the bathroom was frosted glass. You couldn't see much (could tell where the person was and if they were standing or sitting but nothing else) but you could hear everything. it wasn't too bad but just don't expect any privacy. Also offers to store luggage for 20dkk per bag. (Approx $3 in December 2015). We used it and it was very convenient and easy.

Pros: Everything works well in this hotel. Very small rooms but well laid out, great staff, nice lobby and amenities. Absolutely great location, near Ny Havn and Koneg's square-metro stop from airport. Considerably cheaper than other places so happy to forgo free breakfast and large room. Great value for the money
Cons: All was great. Long line at 11 o'clock checkout but they have express checkout or you can get extended checkout for free until noon which helps avoid the line.

Pros: Walking distance to Tivoli Gardens. Had a great time there. Rented bicycles from the hotel which was convenient. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was nice, but need to go early. If get there after 9am, then it is extremely crowded. The sushi restaurant on the 12 floor was exceptional.
Cons: A bit pricey for the size of the rooms. We had a room with a queen size bed and a pull-out sofa. With the pull-out sofa, there is barely enough room to walk from the door to the window.

Pros: Rooms were pretty nice and clean Location was not bad, just a 10 minute walk to central station
Cons: Housekeeping was very poor. They just make your bed and replace towels...glasses were not replaced. Trash was never emptied. Minibar items never replaced. Also frosted glass door to toilet was strange and awkward. I'm all for open modern design but not where you are sitting on toilet and you can be seen.

Pros: The concierges were wonderful people and breakfast was nice.
Cons: I arrived after 12:00 and was told that a room at my level was not available while others were allowed to go to their rooms. I asked if I could be called or texted when it was available, I was told no, I just needed to keep coming back and asking. That is not 4-star service. I found out later from a friend that she was told the same thing, but she told them no, I want a room now, and she was given one. On top of that, the rooms are very small for a 4-star hotel. I won't stay there again.
This hotel is situated directly in the centre of Copenhagen, just a few minutes' walk from the Tivoli Gardens amusement park and around 500 m from the famous shopping street, ‘Stroget'. The newly refurbished rooms are attractively decorated in a classic style and modest tones and come with an en-suite bathroom, Internet access, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. Pros: Our flight landed in Copenhagen super early (0700), so we were a bit nervous when we arrived to the hotel well before check-in time. The front desk was super welcoming and had a room ready for us immediately! Check-in couldn't have been any easier, and our stay was wonderful! We were able to drop our bags in our room, and begin roaming the city (all within walking distance) immediately. There is plenty of room to lounge around either inside or outside on the beautiful terrace. We only ate breakfast there, but it was delicious and full of options for the picky eaters. Late night we grabbed a glass of wine at their bar and were offered fantastic recommendations by the bartender. They also had free organic apples every morning sitting by the front door for anyone to take. This place went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Some reviews complain about the lack of AC, but we had a room with a balcony overlooking the terrace, and a gentle breeze kept the room cool the entire time. Noise was never an issue for us either, and we slept quite comfortably at night. Other reviews also complain about the towels, but they were perfect and the bathroom was beautiful. 5/5 stars!! We hope to come back soon!

Pros: location is ok. Sauna on the roof
Cons: The overall high ratings of this property is overrated. This location don't have any charm, it is in my opinion a wannabe boutique hotel. You arrive at a very small dark non functional lobby. Staff at the reception is a group of amateur. Walking through corridors, stairs and the inside accessibility is a bit of a hassle (Blame the architect). Textures and inside materials are very poor, i find it very amateur. Feeling comfortable in a hotel is in the details, and you don't have that. I didn't feel any cosiness at all, no charm whatsoever.
