convenient location carpet had been torn out of hallway on the entire floor that I was on giving a somewhat bombed out feel to the place
location Room 331 had a foul smell coming from the bathroom.
The staff was helpful and I liked my room. We came in the middle of the renovation of the lobby, and it was a little inconvenient, but as I said, the staff was very helpful. I had to be in a wheelchair, and the elevators were small. Otherwise... all went well.
Great location. Close to central station. Great service from the front desk. Good breakfast. Some rooms require to take few steps of stairs with no ramp. Not good with big luggage (or elderly).
Very near to the Central Station. Breakfast was good with price in mind. Receptionist was friendly. Old and narrow space.
close to station no water in the room
Staff was great in every way that a professional and friendly staff should be. No real dislikes, just meager breakfast buffet and somewhat small room.
ample breakfast buffet, but lousy coffe. dobbel bed too soft, type hammock feeling.
Located in the "cheap hotel district" this is exactly what we were hoping for from our stay! Terrific location (next door to the main train station), clean hotel, nice staff with easy check-in/check-out process, and a breakfast buffet that gives you a little taste of what the food will be like! Enjoyed our stay! Rooms are small which we knew. Also, buffet does get crowded as others have mentioned but would recommend for a fine spread of bread, meat, eggs, and some fruit! Would also recommend bringing your own soap/shampoo.
Star hotel is great for family, location is very good and the breakfast is good also
Just a block from the train station, comfortable beds, good continental breakfast. Room was pretty small and Spartan, no suitcase stands or toiletries, very few power outlets especially near beds. No air conditioning and heater did not work. Midweek price was way too high--I wouldn't pay more than $200 out the door...
room was comfortable and had good selection for breakfast. didn't like not having trea and coffee making facilities in room
Good value. Good location. Housekeeping a little lax, but not terrible.
Great location - close to train station and Tivoli. Walls were thin and the door did not shut properly unless pushed hard.
The room is reasonably clean Staffs are unfriendly, no smile for anyone! Trying to up sale to guest upon arrival. I arrived early, room not available til 3p so I asked if they can store my luggage until room is ready they were obviously annoyed by such request.
The bus was very conveniennt and despite the closeness to a busy route it was very quiet There was no really comfortable area to relax
Hotel is new and stylish The hotel is situated in a unpleasant location.
Excellent hotel, brand new (three months ago opened) quite near the city centre, with state of the art gym (nautilus last generation machines), large swimming pool, and an excellent congress centre. I combined business and leisure the best way. The staff is super friendly and willing to serve. They also gave us the best non tourist places to eat, have coffee, shop. Definitely recommended!!!
Rooms were pretty nice and clean Location was not bad, just a 10 minute walk to central station Housekeeping was very poor. They just make your bed and replace towels...glasses were not replaced. Trash was never emptied. Minibar items never replaced. Also frosted glass door to toilet was strange and awkward. I'm all for open modern design but not where you are sitting on toilet and you can be seen.
The location was great, along with the lobby and staff. Nowhere on the website did I find pictures of the part of the hotel where I stayed. Different rooms.
Great location, steps to the central train station (15 min. ride to the airport). The room was very comfortable, well appointed, and extremely clean, while and the lobby a great place to relax and the garden and sidewalk tables and chairs are perfect for smokers. Excellent value for the price. Rooms do not have air conditioner and, while the city's temperature in August was cool, keeping the windows open at night was not an option because of the street noises generated by people. The staff graciously gave us a second room, which was significantly better in terms of noise, but you still could hear people eating breakfast in the garden
No complaints whatsoever. Room waa very clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Loxation is aupwr convenient for getting to/from the main train station.
Small room, without a/c so we open the window and it was a little bit noisy, breakfast was really nice in a big and nice room. The stand was very helpful
We stayed in the annex, Absalon City Hotel's cheap section. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to everything in Copenhagen, especially Tivoli Gardens. Part of staying in the annex is shared bathroom facilities - the only downside. However, this is what you pay for in the cheaper lodging in the annex, so it's definitely a good value.
It's within easy walking distance to the central station . Loved the room! Clean, functional and modern. I liked everything about the hotel.
No Air Conditioner!?! At the very least, a hotel needs to have Air Conditioning. There was a fan in the room!!
The location was great (easy walking distance to central station) and the rooms were were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was great as well. A false fire alarm went off at 4:30AM the first night of my stay.
It was a nice room, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast, and convenient location. N/A
Clean, comfy, nice rooms. Good location, right near main metro but in a quiet area. They put us in the Annex rather than the Hotel-- so shared bathrooms and shared shower for 20 rooms (instead of the hotel's usual private bathroom). We had booked via kayak for 'hotel' at their lowest room price ($96), but there was no mention in the booking that it was just for the Annex, so I felt downgraded without notification-- the price was a bit high for a hostel (but not totally unreasonable-- the place is very nice). The Annex is more like a Hostel and was fine for 1 night, but probably not useful for folks who want their own bathroom.
The staff was helpful and friendly, and the hotel was very pretty. My room was small and expensive, but reasonable compared to most places in Copenhagen. My room didn't come with a breakfast. It's not a big thing, I'm just saying.
The hiotel is very well lcoated, minutes away from Tivoli Garden and the central station. It's clean, with very pretty rooms and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice, in a big, bright room. It also has a very welcoming reception, where you can sit and relax while planning your day or waiting for your friends to get ready. The wifi signal in the bedrooms was weak. At night, the area is a bit noisy and in the middle of the red light district.
The waterfront is beautiful and very new. The location is not close to anything. Additionally the beds were too soft and bouncy.
Excellent view. Very nice room and bathroom. Very modern design. Location is a distance from restaurants but is close to a train station.
Hotel was modern, clean and overall it was a nice stay. Quality of the free breakfast was better than most. The hotel is close to the hop-on hop-off boat and bus stop, so if you buy the 48 hour sight seeing tour you can hop on the boat that takes you to several stops around the city... This almost makes up for the hotels fairly poor location... Location is on the outskirts of the city so it's about a 15-20 minute walk into the city... We had a problem with our room keys where they didn't work and we had to get new keys at the front desk... This happened twice... and the second time was after breakfast on the day we were checking out... I had to wait about 10 minutes in a line at the front desk to get new keys...
the air conditioning was not working at all, the hotel was hot and humid and to sleep you had to have the windows open but the road noise was appaling, thooughly uncomfortable night.
The long hours for the gym access were appreciated as I was working long hours. It was a little strange to have the sauna in the gym rather than appended to the changing rooms. Also, the breakfast was brilliant! The rooms could have been bigger, as I stayed for 2 weeks and it felt a little cramped at times.
Quite and stylish. Too far from the city, and problems getting to Congress at Bell Center
Comfortable rooms, nice design, next to a shopping mall and a train station.
The staff were not just professional but incredibly nice. I would stay here again without a 2nd thought. Christian at the front desk was incredibly helpful not just during check-in but also when guiding us about sightseeing. The room design is absolutely lovely. It is a pleasure to walk into a hotel with such thoughtful design. Breakfast was an excellent spread too. Nothing that I felt was missing. There were some minor issues with the room - previous occupant threw stuff down the drain that clogged the sink. I feel cleaning staff should have notified maintenance since it was a significant clog but the staff were incredibly responsive when I reported it. One thing that I didn't care for was the half length glass protection in the shower. I found it took too much effort to not splash water outside the tub.
The rooms were clean. I loved the modern feel of The Island and the view was beautiful. Far from the city center but it was close to the train so that made up for it.
We were late back on the Saturday night and the restaurant was due to close but they served a starving group of us a main course which was delightful.
The Hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful and were very friendly. The room was very comfortable and very attractively decorated. Even though they were still doing some construction we were not inconveinenced or disrurbed at all. The Breakfast was excellant and bountiful. It is short walk to Tivoli and many other Copenhagen sites of interest. We would highly recommend this hotel as a best place to stay in Copenhagen. We can't say enough good things about the staff and the hotel! Copenhagen is a very urban city with an apparently open policy towards drug use. There were people openly doing drugs on the same street as the hotel. This is not the fault of the hotel, as we witnessed this in other parts of the city. As in many Europena cities, the accomodations are not handicapped capable.
This is a "new" (i.e., renovated) hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The breakfast is great. Great location.
Very helpful staff, great location just a walk from the train station. Spa and sauna area very relaxing. Good value for money. didnt like having to pay to use the sauna and the spa, thought that would be free.
Lovely rooms, very new and clean. The hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great! There where some junks in the street making a lot of noise at night but I would still very much recommend this hotel as I think the junks where just there because of the work being done to the building across the hotel.
The food served in the rastaurant in the evening is far to expensive regarding what is served. For example the "Tapas" plate costing 225 dk, consisted mostly of raw vegetables and there was not much food on the plate. Compared to restaurant prices and the quality of food in even middle range restaurants this was according to us not av reasonable price. Overall the food in the restaurant is not good, except the breakfast buffet which is ok.
The personel in general was very service/customer oriented and positive. Just the information that the hotel invited me for a free glas of wine or soft drink when I was ready for that makes you feel special. The style of the rooms was special and I liked it.
The central location, good breakfast and the coffee/snack available during the day. The noise outside the hotel from building works and bin emptying. Some of the crockery at breakfast were chipped, especially cups.
The staff was very professional and helpful. While the hotel was very nice, you could easily hear noise from the hall and other rooms.
Location was good Noisy hallway Noisy neigjbours sewer smell in room Tiny room Mattrass felt too soft and had a big trough in the middle, like it was very old.
Decor for lobby and room
Very nice and cosy room
location is wonderful, in the city just 3 mins by walk to central station. heating system seems to be not working..
Comfort and location The bar coult be nicer
Location Long cues at the lobby counter
That the room was very nice, the beds was really good and a good location. They did not know that we were coming, could not find our booking even if we had the bookingnr on email. The price included breakfast, but both nights we stayed the could not see that we had paid for breakfast and when we were checking out, they wanted us to pay extra. It was all solved when they saw our booking on email, but still ruined a bit of a nice feeling. Our daughter tried to call the hotel for over 45 min, then she took a taxi to the hotel to meet us (still on the phone waiting for them to pick up). We tried to call for more towels and could not get through.
Please write at least 15 words No bathtub
The bed was very comfortable, as was the room. The parking was acceptable but using a local/pay parking system. Breakfast was not acceptable at all, runny eggs (and this was earlier in the breakfast cycle) and the sausage was cold.
Very quiet - great sleep
The charge for internet connection was too high a day cost what I pay for a month. It should be free!
The staff is really friendly, and the room is clean and comfy. The hotel location is great, about 7 minutes walking to conpenhagen central train station and Tivoli gardens, 13 minutes walking to the main shopping district (stroget). Just outside the hotel a big shopping supermarket (LIDL) is about to open so you won't have any problem getting your domestic needs. The Hotel is a known chain which has about 45 branch throughout scandinavian countries, so be sure that this hotel has a reputation to build and maintain. To sum it up, we had a great time. The rooms have these old boxed TVs!, i thought these TVs have gone extinct! for a 4 stars Hotel they all should be replaced with an LCD TVs (which i'm sure are not expensive to get). There are about 16 TV local channels besiedes BBC entertinment and Discovery channel which are all dead boring to watch, a dish should be installed with some movie channels instead of the boring cable channels. The wet room in the bathroom is nice but it is seperated from the rest of the bathroom with only a curtain, taking a shower can be messy sometimes, isolating the wet room with a glass door is more modern like and more hygienic. One big double bed cover is better than having two single bed covers!
We stayed in room 264 and it was noisy both from next room (a door between the two) and also from the garden if the window was open.
The location is almost perfect and the stuff are really friendly. The breakfest could be more optional but that's fine.If you go to Copenhagen ,you can freely choose Plaza and ask for the room with Tivoli view.
Spacy room Cold room. heating didnt work.
IT WAS A VERY GOOD PRICE AND LOVED THAT IT WAS WALKING DISTANCE TO TIVOLI, THE TRAIN STATION AND HOP ON HOP OFF BUS. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. LOVED THAT THE BUILDING IS OLD BUT VERY WELL KEPT UP. IT RAINED THE FIRST DAY OF OUR STAY ! :-)
service, location room very small
Very comfortable Hotel, selected primarily for its central location and proximity (and ease of access) to the Main Railway station and Tivoli Gardens. There was a lot of construction work in the immediate vicinity of the hotel resulting in some noise and disruption.
location rooms needs to be renovated asap.price compared to quality is very high.
Location is close to the central station
Staff was great, breakfast was amazing, and the hotel was in the perfect location. Good value in central Copenhagen.
a wonderful hotel, close to everything, a great experience
Warm and cosy athmosphere in the building, helpful staff and good breakfast. Noise from constructions outside. Shower over bathtub could be better.
Location Not really
The location was perfect. Very central. The staff was extremely helpful and the bed was very comfortable. Good value for money.
Old rooms with a very need of renovation. Very small room. Toilet and shower seperate to each other and very tight
Good location with helpful staff. NO
Hotel staff are very service-minded, and my family/I sent flowers to her / them for appreciation. Standard especially for floor and bathroom er poor
Being in walking disctance to most of the sightseeing points. The breakfast was excellent, most of the staff very friendly and helpful. I first expected a lot of noise, as the hotel is on a main street with a lot of traffic, but it was really quiet in there and you also didn't hear a lot of noise from the hotel. The room was small and for two persons there was only one comfortable chair to sit on (plus one chair at the desk). The shower curtain is kind of ugly, it is not heavy enough to stay at its place and so it bothers you the whole time when you are showering.
All good, location & great staff.
It was tired, dirty, and desperately clinging to some sort of old prestige which has long passed. Good location though. Dirty, fairly abrupt staff, needs redecorating.
Hotel in very central position. Staff very pleasant. Room comfortable and good size. No complaints
It was very handy to the railway station, just a 5 minutes walk, and near to some good, well priced eating venues. The staff were excellent, and there was a guest computer with free internet-great for checking emails.
Location is very central, close to Central Station and Tivoli. Breakfast is excellent! The water pressure in the bathroom was very low. The location of our room in the hotel was a bit complicated - we had to take two different elevators and go through many corridors.
This hotel has a great location, next door to the main train station. Every other facet is below standards. The room was tiny. The policies absurd. They even charged us $20 each for the "complimentary breakfast". The dirty, tired room featured a fun game: guess the mystery furniture stain. They sell this property as upscale...the only thing grand was the price. Almost everything, except location.
Very convenient lo Central train station. The hotel needs major renovations. It's not been maintained well. Wi-Fi was spotty in my room, would come and go. Room felt like it hadn't been updated since the 50's or 60's with the exception of the flat screen TV. I've never seen a hallway that has "hills". The hallway went up and down and that was just odd. The walls are paper thin, it was almost as if there wasn't even a door to my room, hearing people in the hallway, etc. Very low water pressure and the shower head needs to be replaced. My bathtub drain wouldn't drain water until it filled up a few inches and then started to drain (not sure how that works). It did it twice.
Not luxurious but more than ok- great location , easy access to sites. Across the street from a strip club, towels well worn.
Best value for money hotel. The light menu was also perfect
The free evening snack buffet Too little room and staff in the restaurant when it got crowded during the breakfast
The location was fantastic, easy walking to Copenhagen attractions. It was clean, friendly, quiet, and a good value.
Location - 5 mins walk to central train station - 10 mins to Tivoli Gardens
Good hotel, great staff, good breakfast, non smoking...
Good lokation. Exellent breakfest and evening buffet.
The location of this hotel was great. Two blocks from train station and Tivoli Gardens. Yes there was a strip club across the street but neighborhood was fine and safe. Excellent helpful staff and nice breakfast. Can be a little noisy on the street. Get a room facing back. Expensive, but so is everything in Copenhagen. Paid more for a fancy high-rise hotel 20 minutes away but the location made this one much better.
Good location, the hotel extremely comfortable, fresh and modern. Breakfast excellent as was early evening supper. Also appreciated free tea and coffee that was available 24/7. Although the location was good there is a bit of a seedy area getting from the station to the hotel, just need to be a little cautious when you first arrive until you get your bearings. Saying that we were not hassled in any way.
I had requested a room with twin beds when I booked on line, when my niece and I arrived from the UK we were told the rooms only had double beds, my niece was quite dismayed. The receptionist was very helpful and moved us to a room with a larger bed. I found her very professional and helpful. I also enjoyed the food, the buffet in the evening and also the breakfast. The main complaint was that the fire alarm went off at 6am and we weren't informed in anyway if it was a false alarm or not (as it turned out to be) The main complaint was that the fire alarm went off at 6am and we weren't informed in anyway if it was a false alarm or not (as it turned out to be)
Very close to the train station and all sorts of attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful (especially Martin at the front desk). Excellent value. Evening buffet was a bit light, but I think that's a Danish custom. It was nice to exposed to that. I would gladly return there. Not applicable
The room was very small - size broom cabinet - with a bed which was not standing horizontally. The door could not close properly with a gap of several centimeters which kept me out of my sleep all night because of people walking in the hallway.
Close to shopping area and Tivoli. Friendly staff. Nice modern hotel. The heating was defect. There was no other room available, so we did get discount.
All,nothing special. No.
Location is good, clean and good for the money staff was helpful and good bar.
Good location - in the center of the city and very close to good restaurants, shopping, sightseeing etc, great breakfast, decent size rooms (not very big but standard for Europe)
Good location, good breakfast, free wi-fi
Friendly staff Breakfast closes early, prostitutes around hotel at midnight
The hotel staff very polite.
Location was central to sights including Tivoli Gardens, city center & Central Train station. Great breakfast. Room was small and very sterile.
The location nearby the railway station and not far the down town The noise room cause by the street traffic even during the night
Good location close to Tivoli and central station. Room was a little small despite being told I had been upgraded, also water pipes seem to rattle all night which kept me awake.
efficient place to stay ... almost brutally efficient... long walk to lift...
Good hotel, quiet rooms in the back. Cosy ambiant in the breakfast area.
Nice breakfastroom with a homefeeling and a wonderful breakfast, Only bad thing was that the room was a little bit to small when everybody wanted to eat at the same time. The hotellstandard wasn´t at the same level as the price. We had a standardroom om the top in which the window was very high up = we couldn´t see out.
The staff was awesome, made breakfast for us 6:00 in the morning with a smile! -
Very friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful; warm and charming atmosphere of the public spaces; very quiet rooms (Annex) despite being in middle of city. Like everything in Denmark, not cheap! A bit inconvenient to traipse back and forth across courtyard from Annex to office/breakfast area, each time having to key in codes to enter the hotel spaces.
Incredible rooms. Beauty everywhere. The front desk closed early. No late night features or room service.
Good central location with parking facilities in the backyard.Nice and relaxed atmosphere which make a change from the multinational hotel groups.
very friendly and helpful staff, good quality breakfast, very quiet and charming room; I would go there again
staff is very friendly rooms on 3th floor with terrrrace are a + in summertime since the hotel as most of the hotels in denmark have no airco
This hotel is the best European property I have ever stayed in and I have been a lot of places. The staff is amazing. Kind, friendly, courteous, went above and beyond to insure our stay went well...and it did. They took time to help us with our maps, our questions about language and the local transportation and made great restaurant recommendations. The included breakfast was the best I have ever had anywhere. Great location, great shower, great bed. I highly, highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Copenhagen on business or pleasure. Thank you Guldsmeden! Nothing.
Very good breakfast. Small hotel with cosy atmosphere, nicely furnitured and decorated rooms. Expected a bathtub in the bath room since the picture on the website showed a bathtub.
Friendliness of the hotel staff. Close to city center (walking distance 5 min.) The parking area is small and should be given attention to before arriving by e-mail or on the website. We had to park the car somewhere else first, walk to the hotel and then return to the car and park behind the hotel. That can be improved easily.
The best thing the hotel is being centre of the city and so close the central station to reach everywhere. The room conditions , breakfast etc. were O.K. Especially the hotel staff was cheerful and helpful. It was a nice trip for us and we were so happy being there.By the way, we didn't meet with any problem due to being the red light district area of the hotel.Thank you.
Nice hotel centrally placed very pleasant reception staff nice breakfast Situated in the red light district rooms never really cleaned only beds made and towels changed very noisy at night and very hot in room so had to have windows open hence very noisy until about six in the morning when the prostitutes finish work
the staff were very couteous and the breakfast was excellent there was nothing wrong with the hotel but I had not been to cph before and it was in the red light district and drug area maybe people could be made aware of this but I have no complaints about the hotel at all
The staff were very friendly an the breakfast was wonderful.
I have stayed at your hotel many times before No
Free and working, also fast wireless internet
Location Value for money
great location, near central train station, walking distance to shopping street, clean rooms, good breakfat, value for money
Location was good, and the hotel in general was fine for my needs.
Centrally located public traffic wise and for shopping and entertainment It is in the red quarter of town and there are dope peddlers and street girls wandering close by.
The friendliness of the staff The beds were not anatomic
decorated with much eye for detail..very nice. Location very close to Tivoli park. The wooden floor of the corridor makes noise..keeps you out of sleep when other quests pass
Nice room and bathroom. Kitchenette was appreciated -- one could prepare some simple snack easily. The breakfast was rather simple but still acceptable. The bed was quite soft but this is our point of view as we generally prefer firmer beds.
Personnel of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, the location was good - close to the central station and subway, walking distance to the center of the city. Free coffee and tea, apples and pastry at the lobby. Internet was good, though no wireless. The rooms are pretty small, though compared to other options of the same price range in Copenhagen they were ok. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but the breakfast basket and fresh pastry in the mornings were really good.
I liked the original way of serving breakfast in the room with the hot bread left in a bag in front of the room and the breakfast basket. There was no waste busket in the room.
Hotel was clean, friendly with a good location within 5 minutes walk from main train station. Great for city break. Loved the breakfast in bedroom, with fresh bread left outside your door every morning. The double bed was very narrow. Not what I would expect from a hotel advertising high standards.
What I liked best during my stay at Hotel Tiffany, was its location (near the Kopenhagen Central Station), the friendliness of the hotel staff, a nice and cosy room. The breakfast was quite agreeable, too. On the whole, I was happy with my stay there. The only thing which made me a bit uneasy was my room being on the ground floor: sometmies You could hear passers-by, as if they had been in Your room with You. It was really a bit scary, although the windows were barred, of course. Perhaps the room was too expensive for a room on the ground floor.
`nice little hotel suitible for families. `nicely laid out for with some good antique furniture. breakfast in room was reasonable the hotel is a gem `hotel is expensive like everything in copehnagen compared to berlin, brussels, stockholm. area around hotel was not the nicest area
Comfortable double bed. Bathroom with a window. Near the station. If I book a triple, I don't expect a double room with an extra bed, which has not the quality like the double bed. Only four rolls for three persons.
Really handy if you're travelling by train. This was my second visit, and I really like the idea of having breakfast delivered to you in the morning - if you're travelling on your own it means you can do your own thing... and have breakfast in bed!
I definitely like that hotel. It has pretty much spacious room with a kitchenette, nice and (maybe too) soft bed, free internet access and around 15 tv channels with lcd tv.
It was nice to have a free internetaccess in every room. The people working there were nice, too. Don't look under your bed ...
The staff is quite friendly, the center is close by car, the parking is free at the hotel, otherwise the hotel is very close to Sydhaven train station. The hotel wanted to charge the price every day, however I paid it at the beginning of my staying! The staff said, it was because of the authorization, whether I had the whole amount on my account, however if I had already paid earlier, why did they need any authorization. So it was quite strange to get messages from my bank, that the hotel wanted to charge the price every day (or twice per day).
Free internet, free wifi
Free WIFI in the room. Good breakfast buffet. Easy to reach by car, and train station around the corner (2 stops to the centre). Beds too hard, children's bed in 'superior family room' is in fact the unfolded stiff couch without separate mattras. Shower only separated by a curtain, splashing the entire bathroom floor wet.
The location is good for travellers by car. The hotel has free parking and it is easy to reach from the highways since it is located a little bit outside the city centre. Breakfast was excellent. Additionally I appreciate the ecological theme of the hotel and the floors with clean parquet instead of dirty wall-to-wall carpets.
If the Scandic had been rated at 3stars I would have accepted the quality emmanating from the facilities however after paying 1690DKK for one night i can't help but feel cheated! It was rated a 4 star however the bathroom supplies were paltry.....the bathroom was old, dirty and all the supplies they had provided were a lux dispenser to be used for both bath as well as handwash....disgustingly enough there was mildew on the dispensers....the shower curtain has never been washed and the tiles never scrubbed........yuck!!!
Good place to stop if you travel by car. It's not far from town center, but less traffic. Food not bad, but expencive.
promixity to business park, comfortable bed, free wireless internet, free breakfast the scandinavian wooden floors and thin doors which in all makes the room very noisy, carpets are maybe not that hygienic, but they sure muffle other peoples sounds better
Internet connection The hotel is not a 4 star, the bathroom possibly a 1 star, reminding me of my military days.... The room size is OK but the windows small which is good as it limits to look out at the building site surrounding the hotel. The choice of international TV channels is very narrow and there is no coffee/tea maker in the room.
Excellent staff and breakfast Broken kettle in room and tea/coffee machine in lounge on arrival
The good location, the brekfast is good and the staff is nice. The interior of the reception and the brekfast room is good.
Stayed one night in a triple room with wife and kid. Nice furnishings, clean modern bath. Great location, so close to Copenhagen Central rail station and Tivoli Garden. Excellent breakfast included. Location, breakfast, clean rooms.
very good breakfast and good personnel in the restaurant, we also had a good package with Tivoli included
Good location, great staff, large breakfast selection.
The location to everything was great...just down the road from Tivoli gardens
Excellent, accommodating staff at the front desk. Excellent inclusive breakfast. Room was small, even by European standards, but I was there only one night and that worked for me. Needed to book earlier to get a better rate, otherwise great hotel centrally located in Copenhagen. close enough to walk to Central train station and all attractions in town. I would definitely stay again. no airconditioning, but climate was mild enough to have the windows open and sleep comfortably. small single room. no gym.
I liked best the breakfast. Plenty of food and tasty as well.
Very helpful staff and very nice dining room and breakfast options. Also, very close to station and central Copenhagen. My room was a little cold and utilitarian
Wonderful Stay. Cute room. loved Copenhagen. The breakfast was amazing (as other reviews have said). Would stay here again! The shower was so small. I could barely wash up without touching the tile wall or shower curtain (and I'm not a big person!). Also, the shower (due to the way it's designed) gets most of the bathroom floor wet.
This hotel is a good value I felt. Very clean and the lobby/common areas were tastefully decorated and felt like a more expensive hotel. The courtyard in the middle is pretty nice to have too. The breakfast was very good and the location was easily accessible from the main train station. It's also on a much more quiet street than many of the others. Staff spoke great English, was very friendly, and accommodated my early arrival. The room was cozy but rather small. It only had a twin bed (which wasn't a problem for me at all but maybe for others) and no mini fridge. I actually found it endearing as it felt truly like a European hotel but also thought others may not like it. The Internet often went out but I think that's because I was in the corner room (assuming farthest from the router) because it worked noticeably better by the door. The only thing I didn't like was that the floor was very squeaky and whenever I walked around I was worried my neighbors below me we're getting disturbed as it was pretty loud.
Wonderful breakfast. Room has big and nice. Bathroom is old and sink is really small.
it is well-situeted in the city.
Breakfast was very good. Room size was like a shoe box. Bathrooms were very poor.
everything was fine,I am sure i am gonna stay there again, whenever i go to Copenhagen.
Location close to the city center and an excellent breakfast buffet.
coffee in morning was given to us early, before normal time walls very thin, could not sleep, heard evrything on both sides of room.Shower, toliet and sink were all in one small area, not seperated.
It had a sofa area and a desk and a small shower and restroom. The beds were ok and the comforters fabulous. It was centrally located literally behind central station. The cleaning staff was very diligent and left the room very clean. There was one person at the front desk that was not so nice but she may have been having a rough day. I didn't like the breakfast options at the lobby and would recommend eating elsewhere especially in this city.
internet facilities no
Quiet but very central. Friendly reception staff. No fridge in room. Beds aparting.
Clean, good breakfast,location Small room
Close to central station Thin walls, can be noisy
The window at bathroom could not be closed because of broken staff. the was no hot dish at breakfast except boiled eggs.
The staff was extremely friendly. Close to the train station and shopping. The kitchen was a great way to meet new friends. The movie room was very nice. Sometimes it was a little loud outside, but mostly it wasn't.
good mixture of people this is not a hostel; the prices are outrageous and no place that calls itself a hostel should be doing this.
Urban House is close to all the tourist site and is a short walking distance from the Central Station. The hostel is clean and very modern. Travelers arriving early has no option to check in early. Check in time is 3pm. The hostel has lockers to place your bags if you want to see the city before the 3pm check in. Additionally, breakfast is extra fee.
The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The late check out. The staff is awesome! Close to everything. N/A
Good value for money,good location
Dsl access in room no
The location is amazingly central: 3minutes from København H (main station), The hotel is pretty cheap, Rooms are tidy and clean, Staff are mostly helpful I couldn't operate the internet connection on my laptop (no idea why as everything was ready to be used), The shower pipe was broken and therefore useless... (so I had a bath instead though!!), TV-set was great but there was no other british channel than BBC entertainment nor any French channel (though, I didn't stay much in my room)
The Location Not so good breakfast
The hotel was comfortable, clean and at very good location, helping this way the tourists to discover the city.
service was as expected Only the sofa bed!! which dipped in the ;middle and was better for only one person.
The breakfast was included and was slightly above basic. The wifi was good. The location is very convenient to Kobenhavn Central Station, so if you have a late or early train, this is very easy to get to/from. The bed was hard. Otherwise, a nice place for one night.
location - near to the central train station The hotel is old and decrepit. No wifi - they give you just 10 centimeters long cable for only one laptop. At night pimps and prostitutes scream and fight just under your window - and noone stop them. The elevator is unbearable slow. The breakfast doesn't worth to get up for so early. The safe in our room was broken.
I loved this location, the Danish décor, the communal kitchen, the guests and that the B & B host was so friendly. Seriously-- this is the PERFECT location for seeing Copenhagen! The host had to make a trip out of the country during our stay, and the substitute host's absence confused some of the guests.
