We stayed for 3 nights. Room was small but beautifully appointed. Views off the balcony were amazing of the East River and Manhattan skyline. Very clean and quiet. Highly recommend.
Mo, the evening clerk was very accommodating with our rsvp after some confusion with booking.com. Room is a bit small for the money,parking fee was annoying, this Brooklyn not manhattan.
The workout facility was pretty awesome. By far the best one I've seen at a hotel! Rooms we a tough small but expected. Everything was great even the people... only had one issue... see below I was really upset when I booked the room it said free parking and when we got there we had to payou $50 to park over night.
Staff was on point and so friendly. I love the neighborhood and all the shops. Breakfast area was a bit crowded. I was asked my room number before I was given my cup of coffee.
The price was great as it's newly opened and seeking customers. The staff was juggling a lot of issues, and they maintained professionalism and friendly calm. The decor was modern and comfortable, the location perfect for my visit. It took 2 calls to the front desk to get the noisy twenty somethings to quiet down in the middle of the night. Generally the walls seemed thin and the doors closed loudly. We had no soap in the shower dispensers, but it was taken care of. The tv system stopped working just when we wanted a little rest... But these issues were handled professionally.
Our room had no phone numbers on it like the front desk I had to use my phone and call the outside number. Had no directory for any place to go to eat. Or anything to do.
Beautiful, clean hotel. It was a great escape from downtown but close to everything. Not too close to the Subway (5ish blocks away) but Lyft/Citi Bike are super convenient. Staff is amazing and friendly! Lots of noise from the hallway, doors must be hung wrong.
Staff friendly, comfy beds with great pillows -- very comfortable, reasonably quiet, EXCELLENT location, great walking distance to everything I needed. Fake perfume smell was awful--needs to go. Caused me allergy and asthma attacks. Advertised free breakfast - no free breakfast. Toilets didn't flush right.

Excellent location, close to subway, Brooklyn Bridge, and shopping. Great room, friendly/helpful staff. Food options in the hotel itself are limited; fortunately, there's plenty of options within easy walking distance.
Facilities and amenities were clean and contemporary. Staff was friendly and happy to help. Noise level - we could hear everything clearly in the hall and abutting room(s).
Convenient to Manhattan, easy walk to Brooklyn Bridge, subway line. Though clean and nicely decorated, room was small and there was limited closet space and no drawers.
The location was perfect and the staff was great. The room was well- appointed- very clean, enough space, comfy duvet, robes, an extensive and interesting mini bar selection, great internet. We also liked the quirky design features- hand painted art on the bedroom wall, cook light fixture, and the chalkboard wall in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise! We had a very hot room. The thermostat didn't seem to be working and there was no way of keeping the heating system turned on (it was winter, after all) and yet on a lower temp. Staff was very responsive and accommodating. Solution was to turn off the system and the hotel provided us with a space heater- which worked like a charm.
Comfortable bed, modern look, friendly staff, great location. Surprised the cleaning staff didn't throw away coffee cups and put away hair dryer after first of three night's stay when tidying the room.
The king sized bed was great, extremely comfortable. The staff at check-in was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, fresh food and good variety. The busy intersection of Smith and Atlantic that my room overlooked was noisy during the morning rush, making it virtually impossible to sleep in past 7:00 a.m.
Art work, decor Bed lights didn't work, bathroom walls including backsplash tile were dirty. Breakfast was mediocre.
Room with 2 Doubles for my son and myself was well appointed and large enough , no crowded feel. Great comfortable pillow top beds , very welcoming. Bathroom didn't have any exhaust fans , but that's about it.

We love the Nu Hotel. We stayed last year for our wedding and we enjoyed it so much we returned again for our anniversary. The staff, location and complementary breakfast and coffee in the morning are all great. We will definitely be returning!

Swanky lobby doesn't translate to the rooms, which are cramped and awkwardly layed out. This is bottom end, despite the trendy sounding name. How anyone would rate this a 4 star property is beyond me. For first night of two night stay my room was oversold. They sent me to the Hyatt Times Square; much nicer.
Friendly staff at check-in. Door man helpful and fast getting car checked and checked out for trip home. Clean room but a small. Ok for an overnight stay. Close to Times Square, theatres, and midtown sights. Music in elevators very loud.
The room was way to small. I never been in a place like this. I call the front desk to see if they change the room and they do nothing

The elevators speed very fast. Very comfortable beds. Very quite for most part except for outdoor noise which is unavoidable but not bad at all. Clean rooms. Great staff. The security is well above the norm, made us feel very safe. Locating is very convenient to all parts of the city. Loved the location. Rooms are small but we didn't come to sit in the room. There were two of us and we were comfortable wouldn't have wanted anymore than two in the room that we stayed in. For our first visit to NYC we had a fabulous time and enjoyed the hotel very much.. Lobby gets very crowded at times. Travelers using elevators for first time doesn't even consider that someone might be getting off the elevator and they crowd the door to the point you can't get off. No reflection on the Row but just be warned you can get run over before you get off the elevator.
Great hotel in the middle of everything, next to subway line. Inside hotel is the City Kitchen where you have a "food court" with many renamed local restaurants. Included breakfast was so so, not the best but good. Very clean room, they cleaned our room every day. Eight elevators, but always very busy. Extremely small room, very noisy on 7th floor (at night all trucks and constructions work and you hear everything in the room). Thanks God we got the "Deluxe City view" because it was supposed to be a bit bigger. The view is not as good as other in the area but its ok for the price. One night we found a small worm in the ice from the ice machine. They should have better beds. But over all its the best option for the $$.

The room was immaculate and the complementary items were from bath and body works. The bed was extremely comfortable with huge pillows. We requested a late checkout for our wedding night and they easily accommodated us. We requested a King size bed and did not get one. The room was extremely, extremely small for the price and we paid extra for a view and it was nothing spectacular (just the back of a few dark buildings).
the location was perfect for our main purpose in visiting Brooklyn. the lack of clarity over charges. When a price is quoted for the room, restaurant, drinks etc it should include all the taxes etc
This place is fine but by the time you add up all the extra charges - city taxes, state taxes, etc... what you thought was a decent price becomes 100 more. Next time I will select a lower price to start.

Unfortunately, we have to echo many of the negative reviews left by others. We paid for a king room, they gave us a queen without saying anything. Upon arrival, we were immediately disappointed: the lobby area was less-than-inviting, front desk was rude, but we thought we would try to give it a shot, so we proceeded with check-in. From there, things got worse: the elevator door wouldn't close, hallways smelled bad (like greasy food), there were stains on bed sheets. We went back downstairs and gave them back the room key. Since our room was non-refundable, we called Wyndham corporate and asked for a full refund, explaining that the property was completely unacceptable. Received a call back the next day and they agreed to refund our money. Parking is also terrible in this area, but that wasn't the main dealbreaker for us - you pay to park in their lot, but then they do not guarantee the space will be available again if you need to leave and come back. They also said they charge multiple times if you need to leave and come back.
Very quiet hotel with attentive staff We would suggest putting a small light on the lower side of the cabinet area as that is where the coffee pot is, & it was a little too dark.
The room was clean and nice and modern equiped. The breakfast was very good (absolutly seldom in american hotels of that price level). Doors between diferent room could be opened. That would be a nice feature for bigger families. We like the jewish accessories at the doors. The surounding of hotel was not absolutly best, but they have done her best to make it nice and we think they were succesfull. In summary a nice hotel which we can recommend! The hotel is a little bit far away from the trafic. 10 min going by foot to the next metro station in Brooklyn, but the hotel offered a taxi service with fixed prise inside of Brooklyn.

This hotel has free, super easy street parking all around it. We had to move the car because of night regulation but there was a ton of spots. So nice after paying $20 a night to park in a different city on our road trip. Super awesome location for transit, you can easily go to Manhattan - 20 minutes with a nice quick walk over a bridge and a second inner Brooklyn train less than a 10 minute walk away. We went to the Bronx zoo and even that was only about 45 minutes on transit. Seriously great, quiet location. There's a TON of 24 hour delis, the nearest about a second away from the hotel. Nice bars on every block within a 15 minute radius - we went bar hopping two of the four nights we stayed and loved every bar. The hotel itself was SO SO SO amazing. Seriously, beautiful inside. We all loved it - the decor is super cool for a hotel room. It didn't even really feel like a hotel room. The gym and sauna were so convenient, especially the sauna after a long day of waking around. The bed was super comfy, it was very clean and had an awesome shower with aromatherapy soap and shampoo. Fast wifi, two flat screens with every channel imaginable. Really nice and helpful staff. This was an awesome experience. We're definitely staying here next time we're in New York.
The bed was nice and the room was clean Very underwhelmed. For the price it simple doesn't even compete to other New York hotels. The room was fine but for 400 a night I'm not paying for fine.

Really a surprise. Wall paper peeling Paint peeling Dimmer switches and some lights broken! This was in January when there were very few customers, and I had paid for a better room. And the dinner from The Elm was terrible. The piece of meat they sent up to my room was an embarrassment. My boyfriend will eat anything and not even he would touch it. Like so many hotels the music system depends on you having an iPhone 4. If you want an adaptor you have to pay $30
I liked the location for being in Williamsburg. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful; so, thanks to Dayana, Justin, Jessica, Martin and James.. for that. The rooms were clean and well kept, if a bit small. But, the size is just something that you have to deal with in the City.. There were just a couple of things that could improve.. we liked our breakfast in the room, but after the first day, we didn't get the door hanger to request the next day's breakfast.. bummer. Also, I know it was the holidays, but the restaurant and bar seemed to keep pretty random hours.. hard to plan.

The concierge was incredibly friendly and accommodating! The décor of the place is funky and fun. The location is perfect for any foodie, music lover, or thrift seeker. The rooms are beautiful and the balcony attached to the room was a major plus. We can't wait to come back in the summer.
There wasn't much included in this stay. The tv only offered basic cable, the WiFi wasn't free, and the jacuzzi was broken. But they had no problem putting a $250 hold on my card. Honestly it was OK but I don't think I'd stay here again. There are a lot hotels in this price range in the same area I'd stay at first. No cable/movie options, no wifi, $250 hold, broken jacuzzi. Who doesn't offer wifi this day in age? I felt like they were gauging me for every dollar.
It's a big city!, comfy bed and quiet stay... the staff was Excelent and professional... Clean rooms and hot shower... Overall a great stay! The air had a problem getting it down to my preferred temp of 66... The elevator fobs were problematic as we had friends on the 23 floor and our card would only let us go to the floor above and below for "ice" and "vending"
The staff in the reception area is corteous and helpful The house cleaning services are awful! The parking folks are rude and absolutely unprofessional.

We stayed three nights while visiting family in Brooklyn. We booked through a third party site on Kayak. In the past at other hotels, this leads to being treated as a second class citizen. This was not the case at the Sheraton. Everyone was very polite and friendly and met all how requests without hesitation. The room was good for the price in Brooklyn, very clean with nice, comfortable bedding. Noisy family next door in the mornings but this was not the hotel's fault.
The staff was great.. Went for an event at Barclays Center so location was close... Shopping was fun Mold in grout of shower stall Rooftop pool "being repaired" so was out of service. My granddaughter was with me and was very disappointed
It was comfortable. The restaurant is an excellent touch because you don't have to venture out for food or cocktails. The shower could be bigger but it's workable
I never been to a hotel where you have to pay for WiFi 4.95 for one hour smh No microwave, no Refrigerator. I will NEVER go there again Aloft or the holiday inn is way better

Great accommodating staff. Helpful concierge. So close to Times Square & all the theaters, so perfect for the 1st time visitor. Clean & comfortable. Beds are nice & cozy. Pool is part of the gym inside the building, so it's only a lap pool. Not for lounging & definitely not for kids. There is a sauna which would be nice in the winter. Very busy hotel! Not a relaxing lobby or even many places to sit (only 4 chairs & some makeshift areas around the plants)! No mini fridge in room.
The location was good. Their concierge staff were nice . Check in was quick .we were givin compound of 2 free complimentary drinks from their bar but we did nit use it.wifi was included in the service fees but also I did not need to use it. When I checked in the toilet was ful of hair & there was a nail on the toilet table .generally the housekeeping service is not good. I noticed that paper napkin was not refilled as if they are saying you have to use one box per stay

Location of the Crowne Plaza Times Square was perfect and centrally located. The Concierge, Corinne, was amazing. She gave great tips, directions, and was so personable and friendly. Our room was awesome, with a great view. The exercise facility was great, many areas to work out in and a large variety of equipment. All staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time.
Location Paid $275 for after show party in the restaurant All they had was 4-5 items of Chinese food and open bar. No menus for food nor drinks. Grumpy wait staff.

My wife has a convention here once a year in January so I tag along. We had a stunning view of Broadway and Times Square from our corner room on the 45th floor (out of 46). Room was clean. Service is friendly and courteous. Bell Captain kept our bags for us after checkout so we could do a bit of sight-seeing until we had to go to the airport. When it was time to get our bags, he walked them down to the taxi stand for us and made sure we had a cab. Wi-fi seemed a bit slow.
Great hotel if you're a tourist and want to be in Times Square - easy walking distance to many attractions and not too far can / uber ride to others. The rooms were nice and clean, the maids always bought us new soaps, razors, toothpaste, towels etc. some of the staff are seriously awful. My partner has a severe allergy to nuts, and we had issues with two waiters there who seemed preoccupied and had to ask a manager to go and confirm if there was nuts in a dish she wanted for dinner or not. The waiter made us feel awful and then progressively got ruder (getting in our faces, yelling, etc) after the manager had been involved. We did get given a few free drinks and a box of chocolates from management (although she couldn't have the chocolates due to nuts) But otherwise we had a lovely stay, only ruined by a few staff members who need to learn if you work in a service job it's part of your job to at least TRY and be polite and understanding!
The most unfriendly staff I have encountered at a hotel
It was in a perfect location in Times Square. A few blocks from the subway. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Needs some updating/maintenance. For the price you pay for location, seems they could upkeep better. All 3 drawers in our dresser didn't close properly, off track or something. Bathrooms could use some new caulk, gappy and dirty looking.

Great location, good room comfort. When you book the price seems to be great, but then you find that the Internet is not included and also the bagage keeping has a cost.
Clean room with a comfortable bed. The hotel is very centrally located with many attractions close by. Staff was very efficient and friendly. The walls are paper thin and we had very loud neighbors. We could hear everything going on in the room next door. Unfortunately the neighbors were very inconsiderate and we had to call down to security to ask them to be quiet.

Nice sized room for NY. Updated and modern. Heat was stuck on high and it was super hot. Luckily the windows work and we could get a cold breeze. Pillows were fluffy and flat at the same time.

Great location. Close to Times Square, Central Park, and Rockefeller Center. Large rooms for a New York hotel. Very professionally run and business like facility. High energy level with constant activity in the public areas. It isn't cheap but you can easily pay more for less value in NYC.
Very clean, great location! I have stayed here a few times and always have a nice time there. The cleaning staff is so friendly. The food at the hotel is very expensive. I searched all over for an atm machine and couldn't find one. The lines for the elevator can be a bit long

The is the one of the best locations in the theater district. Most of the major theaters are located within three blocks of the hotel. The same day ticket office is located yards away from the hotel so you can get up early to get your ticket and then return to your room. The hotel entrance is right off times square. The hotel is clean large and and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Many family oriented dining establishments are nearby as well as easy access to the subway and various tour operators. The hotel is large and is used as a convention facility. So if you do not like large crowds and being in the location that is busy and very active during the evening hours, this is not the place for you.
Our stay was fine. The staff was friendly, the room was clean. As one would expect for $400/night. The ticket counter for local shows was very helpful/convenient. automated elevator system crammed too many people into each trip testing the fire alarm system each day that we stayed very uncomfortable sofa bed mattress (felt every spring)
People at front desk were nice The customer service at the view lounge was terrible. The lady that served us did not believe that we enter staying at the hotel and Saud very loud that the room number that we gave her did not exist and I showed her my key. She was very rude we felt embarrased.
Location was perfect . Check in and check out is very easy and staff was very friendly . We request for double bed and sofa we paid more to get room like that but sofa was too old to sleep on and they bring us roller bed but matteres was very uncomfortable that u can feel all the metal under the sheet.

Great location and some great views. They apperently give every person in the hotel access to the executive lounge. I'm used to a crowd at times but this was crazy. They need to either expand the lounge or enforce the entry policy.

I Loved the fact that the hotel is in the Heart of Downtown Brooklyn. To which "Brooklyn" is now known as the "New Manhattan". Close to all transportation (Bus, Train, LIRR,) The BARCLAY's, JUNIOR's Restaurant, APPLE BEE's, SHOPPING (NORDSTROM RACK, POLO, MACY's, GAP, H&M, CHILDREN's PLACE & WALKING DISTANCE TO ATLANTIC CENTER MALL WHICH HAS TARGET, MARSHALL's etc) I didn't like my view ( I had a partial view of street in rear). There is CONSTRUCTION NEARBY (but you will not hear it, HOTEL MUST BE SOUND-PROOF) I DID BOOK IT LAST MINUTE (the day of/Mother's Day).. The BLOCK IS VERY CLEAN TO WALK IN WITH SMOOTH PAVEMENT. BERY NICE HOTEL STAFF FROM THE TIME YOU WALK IN THE DOOR. LOBBY AREA VERY INVITING, IT EVEN HAS A POOL TABLE, BAR AREA, LOUNGE AREA, SIT & CHAT SECTION..SIMPLY COZY. HOPE THIS HELPS!
Super cool place to stay. Staff was friendly. Very close to subway and shopping. Comfy beds and great shower. Honeslty, the amount of space in the room is really perfect for someone who is just there to shower and sleep. You don't need that much space. Wouldn't plan a hotel party in here obviously, but it's perfect for a traveler.
The adult king room was good size by NYC standards. Free wifi and modern amenities adds value too. Heating unit was hard to work, the air was extremely dry. Bulky pillows. Shower system too complex.
Well designed, aesthetically pleasing compact rooms. Reasonable rates, good location These are hopefully only a temporary conditions for the hotel, but there was a lot of construction scaffolding around the front door, with the associated muddy drips and ducking around obstacles. The lobby itself was at first a little confusing, cluttered, cold and noisy. There's a lot of construction near the hotel as well. All likely temporary conditions
The booking for this hotel was made on accident by my sister. When i tried to cancel the booking minutes later, or even reschedule so that I might be able to use it I was completely cutoff. I'm sure the hotel is nice enough, but I will never know what I paid for.
Found multiple hairs in the room upon arrival on desk and counter tops. Room had NO towels until we called down to front desk. Elevators were in a sad state: disgusting freight pads lining the walls and creepy flickering blacklights as only source of light in elevator. Of the four different front desk staff we encountered, one was incredibly helpful & kind (male, mid 20s-30s) and the rest were utterly lackadaisical amd distracted by other issues, not sure what they were doing but they certainly did not make guests feel a priority whatsoever.

The front desk staff was very friendly and very respectfully always saying Goodmorning or have a Goodnight. It is a very very friendly and all inclusive hotel for any one to stay at. The aloft is a perfect place to stay if you want to be near all the stores. And a very clean and safe environment for everyone. The staff was incredible and I was very great full to stay at the aloft with such wonderful people. Would I stay at the aloft again yes I would.

We appreciated the onsite parking! Not having to worry about where you are parked and whether you will get a ticket after a certain hour was a relief. Although we did not have to utilize the parking this trip, it is great to know it is available for $25 a night (far less than a standard parking ticket or tow). The front desk staff were pleasurable and very helpful. The hotel is convenient to several places we were visiting as well as markets and dining. Due to a last minute change, we did not get to utilize the room after all, however, I know where we will stay the next time we visit Brooklyn. Nothing!

comfortable and clean accommodations. eating area for breakfast needs somehow to increase number of tables for the crowd that hit the area for breakfast. We were there 3 mornings and at different times each day and each day there were people waiting for tables.
Staff was greater and liked that parking was only $25 overnight which is unheard of in New York City.
The price was reasonable and the premises new and clean (the bed sheets smelled clean and fresh, the cushions were firm and ample) The location in Brooklin counterbalances the price but the subway is really only 150 feet away. Some comments on booking.com mention a not-so-friendly staff. But I liked them. They were not there to entertain their guests, but they were effective and practical in their job, they answered our questions, helped and solved our problems. Carry on like this!! I wanted to leave a smelly and dusty hotel in Manhattan (also booked on booking.com !!) and I fortunately found bw Plus Prospect available with very little notice. The comments on booking.com reflected well what we found, so I was not displeased to find that the room was small for 4 and that the breakfast room was also small. But no big deal. We were really happy to find this alternative. It saved our holiday in nyc.
This is definitely not a luxury hotel. But it is a fine place to stay at a very reasonable rate. It is very convenient to the subway. The staff is very helpful. There is a grocery store right next door. The hotel was new, clean and well kept. The gym was fine for a hotel gym and I liked the idea of going to the sauna. It's not in a very nice location in Brooklyn, and the walls are pretty thin. I was concerned about getting a good nights rest but I was able to sleep well once things quieted down after 10 pm.
Central to our desired location Breakfast was supposed to be served at 6:30am. Had to leave for a meeting and it still wasn't served by 6:45am. Attitude of breakfast staff was blasai, It was coming, be patient. Our room had a terrible roar of what sounded like air handling equipment and an elevator rumble all rolled into one and it was unrelenting, so sleeping was a challenge. Door access card wouldn't work. Repeatedly had to call maintenance or get another card reprogrammed. Shower barely worked because the diverter was faulty. Most water went out the bath filler. Wouldn't return.
We appreciated the entire stay. It was quiet, friendly staff, clean, accomodating, close to subway. Good food . We had to leave. We have recommended it to others and will be back.

Nothing I liked. Worst costumer service!! Front desk guests service were so rude. My room was already paid and booked for but still had to wait two hours just to get my room!

The room was spacious for NYC standards and very clean and well kept. The furnishings were modern and kept up to date. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room to keep our water, wine and cheese cold.
Location, rooms are comfy , free internet My mother's shoes were stolen, Along with my nephew's (2 and 1/2 yo) pillow and toys. The shoes were inside a suitcase the entire time which makes the case even worse. We complained at the front desk, but the staff were unapologetic and did nothing to solve the issue.
Friendly and accommodating staff! Loved that everyone was there willing to help. Also liked the security of staff checking to make sure that all guests coming into the hotel were in fact supposed to be there. Didn't like that there wasn't a fridge and/or microwave in the room given the price. Room was very nice but for the price I would've expected at least a fridge.

Nice interior All staff Ive come across felt like security. They dont respond to greetings. When they selectively ask to see your room keycard to enter the hotel and you see the people in front of you stroll right in while you get "carded" almost everytime...Im a well groomed mid 20's asian business man on vacation what more do you want? And in the heart of korea-town no less! I avoided the staff for the rest of my stay due to their less than friendly disposition and most times they seemed too busy to talk to you because they are allll on their phones textingg! Mainly speaking of night staff. For such a historic Landmark of a Hotel the staff certainly takes away from its authenticity,beauty and glamour. As far as the rooms go everthing seemed fairly clean and nice. Only issue was the brown water I had to shower in and the air condition wasnt working the first day but their engineering staff promptly fixed the A/C unit.

The bed was quite comfortable, and the room was tastefully decorated in a modern way. The room was a decent size for New York City standards. While the location is a bit off-putting at first, the shops and restaurants of Park Slope are just one avenue away. It was a prefect for visiting friends in the area. While the rain shower was quite nice, it was odd that the bathroom was just part of the bedroom. It allowed for little privacy.
The staff was incredibly friendly and even helpful with the baby we had with us. Parking was free! The beds were amazingly comfortable. And the room was very well appointed. It's location withing Park Slope isn't on the most exciting street. However, you only need to walk a a few blocks to get to the really nice parts.

The hotel has an interesting design, all blues with bose sounds system. Parking is virtually none, so ad for parking is not accurate. We had to park far away and hotel staff did not help. Very poor service.

Excellent location - on the doorstep of the F train to Manhattan and the bistors and pubs of Park slope. Nicely designed rooms and fresh bagels each morning are a nice treat.
Our room smelled like smoke. We had no key to the second room as their key machine was out of order. We had to find a staff member with a pass key to enter. BAM, dining
