Cons: The car reeked of cigarettes and so did the replacement.
Cons: The vehicle was not good. Didn’t notice when I left the airport but one of the knobs was missing so you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The steering wheel shook when I went over 50 mph. One of the doors wouldn’t open. When I informed the rep about it, she didn’t care. Didn’t offer a discount or even an apology. Terrible experience. Won’t use them again.
Pros: Absolutely nothing. We were not allowed to pick up car.
Cons: Have some decency and make a judgement call every on me and awhile. My fiancé had her credit card stolen and her car broke down. She just needed a two day rental for work, however they would not allow her to pay with her debit card (even with whatever deposit that they required) or allow me to complete a credit card authorization form with my credit card, again taking whatever deposit that they required. At the end of the day, what truly is the difference between a credit and debit card if the same deposit is taken? A person can easily cancel their credit card at any time. Disappointed and will never use Sixt again.
Cons: Make sure all the extra costs are posted in advance not after the rental is booked and ready to be picked up.

Pros: Nothing, They refused to honor their CVD19 response and would not allow me to cancel.
Cons: If it would have mention ANYWHERE that they have two rates and one rate is non-refundable. Their CVD19 response doesn't even mention two rates and only one being able to cancel. I filed a complainant with the BBB, and I have escalated to their leadership. I am not asking for special treatment, I was only asking they honor their statements. I will NEVER book with them again. I plan to report them as fraud to my credit card company.

Pros: Not much. This was the worst car rental experience I have ever had.
Cons: First, the phones were done at the rental agency and had been for 10 days. There was no way to contact anyone. The first car I picked up had the check engine light come on when I returned home. I returned to the rental agency and was given a second car, when I got home and loaded the car for the trip, it would not start. The first company Sixt sent was incapable of fixing or even had the knowledge to fix the broken key fob, as promised. I had to wait over 4.5 hours for a third car to be delivered to my home and the second car to be towed out of my garage. It delayed our trip. To add insult to injury I couldn’t get anyone on the phone from customer service and multiple days to get a return call from the branch manager. It took me a total of 10 1/2 hours , 3 cars and 2 tow companies to finally receive a working rental car. I will never use Sixt again, and quite frankly, Kayak shouldn’t sell their services.

Cons: Customer service, when I picked up the car I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. Also it took them over an hour to get me a car even thought there was no one else there.
