10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, rooms and cleanliness!
9.1 Excellent
Pros: 1. I was upgraded to oceanfront. 2. Across from the beach. 3. Oceanfront room 322 was spacious. 4. Staff very friendly.
Cons: 1. Not many eateries around there. Though Village Cafe very good, short walk. 2. No coffee in room despite having coffee maker. 3. Room 322 had a shower head displaced facing the sink and not moveable so water was not directly on you per se. 4. Soap, though provided, was Irish Spring. Did its job but am used to fancier soaps. 5. Construction next door. Not quite completed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beachfront, pools and very close to shopping, restaurants and activities
Cons: Can be expensive
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was gorgeous, classically elegant Florida. Low key and no overcrowding! The beach was beautifully maintained and the beAch staff - especially Lane were so nice and attentive!
Cons: Restaurant service was spotty - the food was very good but even with low volume the service was not very attentive. We frequently waited a long time for service, had to ask for silverware, more water, etc.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: On the beach, nice tennis courts and pool. Beautiful floors in the hotel lobby.
Cons: Very rude customer service. Rooms were not near as nice as shown in pictures. Very weird layout. There is a separate building they originally put us in. It was called a 2 bdrn suite but the bdrm had one small window that looked straight at the wall of the parking garage. The room also had a motel style exterior entrance. We requested a new room and got one in the main building, that was better but still poor for the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is my 2nd time staying here. Me and my family enjoyed our stay so much last year, that we decided to stay again. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. We had the poolside room where you can see the beach, palm trees and pool. It was wonderful waking up every morning and sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee and just relax. We will definitely be staying again.
Cons: I don't have anything negative at all to say.

6.0 Good
Pros: I like the location and amenities this resort has to offer. Even down to the juice bar at the lower level
Cons: This place was packed to maximum capacity. They had people by the packs lining every corridor, lobby and everywheee in between. I’ve never seen so many bell man carts stacked in a row anywhere. Thank goodness I had elite status and pre-signed in on-line for their mobile key. Or so I thought...we arrived at 5:30 pm and despite all this pre-check in key nonsense our room after a day of travel wasn’t ready and would be ready after a modest $175 dinner for 4 (2 adults and 2 children with one drink each) on their Casual next the pool fare. Yikes!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Immediately pulling up you know this is going to be a beautiful place to stay! Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Rooms were great and best of all we were right on the beach! Having Starbucks in the hotel was awesome! I would definitely go back!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Private beach Pool lounging area Private amenities in spa: pool, sauna, steam Restaurants on-site Gym
Cons: Poolside restrooms a bit messy during peak family time - Memorial Day Slow (phone) response sometimes
6.8 Good
Pros: Pol area and beach View of ocean Starbucks
Cons: Restaurant sea level Poor help. Dirty. Bad menu
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Staff were friendly and always willing to go out of there way. Clean and comfortable rooms. Loved pool restaurant. Access to the beach was perfect.
Cons: You can see hotel is showing some age. Hard to listen to people talk about how they paid half your price to be there. Should be more consistent with price.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Luis, the valet, was outstanding. He even ran out to the car to get my wife's blanket one night. We wished we had a view of the Intracoastal, but the view of the ocean was nice. The elevators were super fast!! The restaurant was good, but we wished there was more on the menu. The continental breakfast was decent. We will be back!!
Cons: The covers on the toilet paper rolls. It made them hard to use, especially for bigger people. Also, bathroom was In awkward location. We walked around te lounge area after dinner one nigt and there were still towels on the lounge chairs and empty drink cups. We're not sure how long they had been there, but it was dark outside.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were a great size for the money and offered a lot of amenities.
Cons: The only real option for parking was valet or nearby meter spots. While the valet wasn't a bad price, I would have preferred garage self parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff provide a very early check-in
Cons: After we checked in, another couple opened our locked room door as they had also had been assigned to the same room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location near the airport, big room, great for family
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager tried REALLY hard to fix issues we had, and was really kind. The continental breakfast had great variety and the breakfast staff was fantastic. The location was convenient. We were able to check in early, and even check out late because of a large flight.
Cons: We were repeatedly disturbed while trying to rest with the "do not disturb" sign up, and once, someone unlocked the room and walked in without knocking at all. The shower drain was clogged and bubbled up filth, but they were very quick to respond and to offer a new room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was comfortable and quiet, with a refrigerator and microwave. The free hot breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage as well as oatmeal and make-your-own waffles. There was also yogurt, cold cereal and pastries. A strip mall with several restaurants was a short walk away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff let us check in early. Hot breakfast was convenient.
Cons: When we got back in late that evening, our keys were deactivated and was a bit annoying having to wait in the line of people waiting to check in to get new keys issued.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and I was impressed with the complementary breakfast!

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The fridge only. I should go with bed bug and mosquito repellent
Cons: It's a place for junky. Nothing is good about that place. I won't stay there anymore even for free
7.4 Good
Pros: I really loved how this hotel was right by the beach, and was somewhat secluded.
Cons: the dogs barking all night kept me up all night.
7.7 Good
Pros: The fridge was huge had a nice flat screen tv 2 min walk to the beach 15min walk from the strip
Cons: Parking wasn't the best. My wife woke up to a big on her I know it's fl and it was a cheap place to stay but she didn't think it was funny as I did. Also they forgot to remove the dead hooker from our bath tub before we got in the room.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Clean, convenient & very well run little motel. Easy in & out. Newly remodeled rooms have everything you need & nothing you don’t.
Cons: Blackout shades still let enough light in the room to make me hang the extra blanket over to block light. Other than that, which might not bother most people, this place is a 5star!
4.0 OK
Cons: this place had a shady vibe, reminded me of the meth hotel in breaking bad
10.0 Excellent

Cons: It was all good! Nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed at the Atlantic twice and there is literally nothing one could not like about this hotel.
Cons: That my trip was not longer :)
8.5 Excellent
Pros: I know this might sound wired but the shower, hotel showers are usually bad but this one was great! Lots of pressure and never ran out of hot water.
Cons: The king bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service, food and staff were amazing
Cons: Can't think of anything
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location was nice. Housekeeping and the valet were polite.
Cons: Hotel construction was everywhere including the expensive beach front view I payed for. I was treated disrespectfully by the day manager. He lied to kayak about approval for an early checkout refund. We left anyways. The chair in our room was held together with gorilla glue, the a/c and fridge worked intermittently. Overall all of the inconveniences made it for a difficult first trip with our new baby. The hotel refers to itself as luxurious, but customer service and repairs to the inside of the rooms are greatly needed.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location. Comfortable bed and room.
Cons: Dated and worn out furniture and kitchen cabinets.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice large room and decor Hotel Pool and Lobby are very nice Restaurants are fun
Cons: Missing remote, room service book, etc. upon arrival and took about 45 min to bring it up. Food prices on room service menu. View of construction site with blocked view of ocean on "oceanview room"
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location right on the beach. Large, comfortable rooms. The staff allowed me to check in a few hours early since they had a clean room ready. Nightly turn down service with chocolates on my pillow were a nice touch.
Cons: Front desk staff was average. At best. At a hotel of this caliber I expected a lot more courtesy and friendliness. Broken shower. No available chairs at the pool TWO days in a row. No bellhop to carry my luggage. And no apologies when I told them about my underwhelming experience.
7.7 Good
Cons: No housekeeping No available chairs, etc for the beach

They changed our room and in the new room it was the same issues. There was food in the mini fridge and the bathroom wasn't clean again. The second room we reserved was also not up to Marriott standards, the bathroom was dirty and there was a big lizard in the room. It was a very bad experience We reserved two rooms. 7.7 Good
Pros: Soft beds
Cons: They didn't clean my room every day
8.5 Excellent
Pros: We had to find an extended stay near Davie and stayed here two nights-- the staff was so nice and the breakfast (included) had so many choices we were spoiled. The rooms were set up well. It was within walking distance of publix and Walgreens as well as town center. Great location
Cons: The place has a kind of old feeling as far as the decor but it was fine for our purposes. Pool a little disappointing-- but we didn't use it. Would not be a great place to come with kids on vacation. But for business or extended stay good
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room! It was like having a studio apartment
Cons: There was a cockroach wandering around the floor
4.2 OK
Pros: Not sure. The staff "appeared" concerned but didn't offer any acceptable resolutions therefore I can't give them credit for resolving my request.
Cons: I needed two beds. I was unable to get two beds. I wound up sleeping on a very uncomfortable pull out sofa bed. I'm extremely disappointed! There needs to be a way to for the customer to book a reliable place to stay and get two beds when two people are traveling.
Riverside Hotel - Fort Lauderdale - Building
8.6 Excellent (1,860 reviews)
AED 1054+
Overview Reviews
Riverside Hotel is the only hotel located on Las Olas Boulevard which features sidewalk cafes, lively nightclubs, chic boutiques, art galleries, and world class restaurants. Las Olas Boulevard runs from the center of the Downtown Business District to the Atlantic Ocean and Fort Lauderdale Beach. Four miles away from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport, Broward County Convention Center and Port Everglades, and only 2 miles from Fort Lauderdale Beach.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: I would go back to the Riverside. But, I would only stay on the EAST side of the building and inspect the room carefully before accepting. Our room was in need of paint and repair. A charge for everything including parking. I still never figured out why there was no access to the mini bar in the room. In a hotel like this, I was expecting MORE.
5.7 OK
Pros: I love the location and the fact it's an older "Florida" hotel
Cons: Making up the room was very late in the day. Carpet appeared to be stained and also in need of repairs. Surely a manager could be looking at each room on a weekly basis for items like this. Regular housekeeping staff are too rushed to even report items like that, although they should be able to mark it on a sheet somewhere. I also had A/C issues because of placement of furniture in the room. Once a chair was moved, the room cooled to a more comfortable temperature. There also seemed to be a lack of regular electrical outlets available. I realize it's an older hotel but that's something most travelers need.
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: I had a roof over head.
Cons: There were ants in my room. The gym was under construction but they never informed me. The front desk staff were less than courteous and were fighting when I arrived. The mattresses felt cheap. It was not a 300 per night experience.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Loved that it is right on Las Olas Blvd and that right around the corner is the river walk.
Cons: Staff were very nice I just felt they just didn't go out of their way. I really didn't like having to pay for parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean hotel, close to lots of restraunts in bars. We will be back we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Hair in our food we had order d room service. It we let the hotel know and they refunded us our dinner so they had great customer service.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Check in
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Check in staff excellent, I was tired from bad Uber experience and the check in lady helped calm me down. :) . The luggage hold for the last day was superb service. All three gentleman were beyond helpful with making sure we had our things and even helped me get my suitcase in to the Uber. Polite and very serving! Starbucks server was superb as well!
Cons: One staff member cleaning the pool deck on Friday night proceeded to move chairs by us and was rather hasty about it and wacked my leg with one of those heavy recliners when I was reaching down to try and move my shoes out of her way. It could have been avoided is she wasn't so focused on getting the chairs aligned while we were still trying to relax outside. She did apologize. I did have trouble with your moblie ap to check in online, and it still has not been resolved for some reason, Marriott can not link my points with reservation there and my stay. Other hotels are much easier to do this.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Any one could come to the pool. And all the card keys didn't work outside. Not very secure. Over all it's a very nice hotel.Room was great.
7.7 Good
Pros: Great location- big sun deck- good drink specials- gym with all the essentials including towels and water and machines with tv's
Cons: Room won't go under 65 and I like to sleep very cold so that was frustrating. Also the pool is very small and not close to sun deck so you have to walk down to another level to take a dip. Also some of the staff is not the friendliest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Daryl Fuentes and Patrick were working the front desk onThursday during the day. They were very helpful when I had an administrative task I couldnt complete for a business portion of my trip. Additionally they, and the rest of the staff during my time there know hospitality naturally and made my staff wonderful after a long flight and a last minute booking. Thank you again to the whole staff!

Pros: Courteous Staff. Great location. Very accommodating. More than suitable for a day or two. Excellent restaurants nearby.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great location right across from the beach, very friendly/helpful staff. Rooms were clean.
Cons: As in other reviews they are still working on the elevators which leads to a decent wait and then filling up quickly. We were in the 12th floor (top floor) which made it a lot easier to access the elevator then the middle/lower floors. If the elevators were fully working then I'd have no reason not to give this hotel a 5 star rating based on my experience.
7.4 Good
Pros: Close to everything.
Cons: $31 per night for parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: clean and nice place to stay.....across from the beach and close to everything!!!will stay here again.
Cons: nothing!!!
7.4 Good
Pros: Location and rooms were nice enough. The valet service was very good. Pool bar personnel were great.
Cons: Elevators didn't work very well - took the stairs often. I thought the cost of the in-hotel restaurant was pricey for Starbucks style food. Pool facilities weren't great - not enough towels
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Beautiful ocean views. Easy beach access.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean, good size, and staff was GREAT!
Cons: The only downside was on our way to the beach, they had run out of clean beach towels.

4.2 OK
Cons: The parking and check in is inconvenient. Check out time is at 10am! Hotel has NOT updated it's furniture or stuff. Could hear everything from all other rooms. Bath-tub was old and "painted" to cover chips. not what I expected for the price!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice rooms. Very inviting!
Cons: Location was hard to find. Poor signage to the garage. Inaccurate signage in the parking lot.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving
Cons: According to Marriott, rooms booked via Kayak are only available till 10am. At 9:45am, some brute knocked on the door like a police raid. I’ve never been so insulted. They also opened the door and started walking around! At 9:45am!!! No recourse, no nothing. As a Platinum Elite level Marriott member, I expect more. And shame on Kayak for burying this in small print. The room and building were atrocious.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location and view. Rooms nice size and clean.
Cons: Staff a little over whelmed by spring break crowd. Would have been nice to be warned about what the hotel was doing to accommodate the young crowd.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: Checkout is 10am, couldn't get later checkout. No room service and got rushed out by housekeeping on last day. Confusing parking garage. Hard to find entrance for check in. Not staying here again.
4.5 OK
Pros: Close to the beach.
Cons: Front desk staff was not very nice to accommodate my request. Slow elevator service. Poor wall insulations in room, you can hear outside.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The fact that I got charged twice for this room. After I was charged by priceline for the room, the Marriot also charged me. I thus paid twice for the same room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our trip at the Marriott Beach Place was amazing. From the moment we checked in until we checked out. We received great service from every employee. We got to the hotel early and Ashley was able to get us into a room early. We had laughs on the elevator with the cleaning staff and the guy working in the lobby by the elevators was very friendly too. I forgot his name but I do remember that he is from Jamaica. And we had the absolute best time by the pool bar. Adan was fantastic! He was genuinely kind. He seemed happy to be there. We sat there for a couple hours one day and had the best time. He gave us some great suggestions on where to eat and hangout. We had dinner at a place that he suggested and it was amazing! Adan made our trip even more special. Thank you Adan! I really hope that he gets to see this review. There was construction going on at the hotel and at times it was noisy but the service was so good that we didn’t even care. I am a Store Director for a major retail company and I appreciate excellent client service and that is exactly what we received. Thank you to the entire staff. We had a wonderful weekend.
Cons: I can’t complain about anything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: large and comfortable unit, friendly staff, safe, secure
Cons: The elevator is a disaster, esp. on check in days. The parking lot is a disaster
