There were bugs in the beds and in the bathroom. I had to check the morning of my first day as my daughter had bug bites all over her.
Decent suites at decent price. 12 dollar cab ride to Viejas arena. Parking a bit of a hassle when garage is full. Only ice machine is by second floor elevator. Elevator is super slow, and the trudge up to the third floor was a pain. Other than that, good value. I would stay here again, but would book earlier to guarantee second floor room.
I liked the value for the room, the type of breakfast they had, it was just muffins, juice and coffee. Room was very spacious. We had 4 adults and 4 children and we all fit in one room comfortably. I like how they don't charge for children that's great, since we were able to get one room. I didn't like how the bathroom was kind of dirty and the kitchen had this awful smell to it. It smelled like bad breath, it was terrible and it was only in the kitchen area. The bottom of the shower was almost black, but I mean it didn't really matter all that much since I always wear flip flops in hotel showers.
good breakfast. good choice of cable TV stations available. very convenient to our son's place. staff was late opening breakfast room morning we left. 1 of 2 beds very uncomfortable.
One of the dirtiest hotels I've ever been too. We paid for 2 queens but they only had one king avalible so my husband and my friend and I all slept cramped into one bed. When we walked into the room there was an over powering smell of mildew. All our towels were wet and stained and the bathroom was doscusting. There were fingerprints and smears all over the door. The light switches were all pushed in and broken. I've stayed in some icky places but this one takes the cake. It's rated so high for what quality it offers. Also not handicap friendly
Very quiet and peaceful. Great for me and my family. Not enough coffee conditments in the room.
The kitchenett was the best quality in the room. The non smoking room smelled of smoke and cigarette buds were left on the walkway. The room was in need of a good cleaning.
Value for money. Free breakfast. Free Wi-Fi We came here just rest are night as we were out aunt m sight seeing all day. Bare minimum facilities. Overall cleanliness is not that great. Inside and outside.
Price and nearness to Qualcom Stadium.couldn't We had called one week in advance to change our reservation. When we arrived there was no record of the change. We were lucky that they had vacancies. In the confusion, we were overcharged for four nights when we only stayed three. The desk clerk couldn't directly refund us $89.99, and we are having to dispute the charge through Discover.
Pool was always empty. We have a special need child. Empty pool worked good for us. A/c , fridge were noisy
Pool size was nice. Location was in quiet neighborhood. Hotel needs some updating and some deep cleaning. Hotel needs overall TLC to be worth the price being paid for.
The kitchen suite was a nice surprise. No breakfast available until 7 am was tough. We checked out at 5 AM. 7AM is quite late to start breakfast. Nice restaurant next door.
Quiet room despite noisy location. Dirty
Very quiet room despite noisy location. Adequate facility for the money. Dirty.
Nothing - there was nothing good about this site. Even the stuff that was acceptable was average - And I am used to staying in Motel 6s. Avoid this place. There were a ton of cockroaches in the room. It was absolutely disgusting. This place was infested as of last week. I would highly suggest you avoid this place.
Very sketchy hotel - many unwholesome characters hanging out on the balconies, on the sidewalks, and even digging through the garbage bin. Dim lighting in hallways, many places to be found alone on the stairs, elevator, etc. I would not take kids here. I would not take myself here again. I'd go find a Motel 6 that had been remodeled, and did not have weird hairs everywhere, minimal cleaning, and a odd-smelling fridge. Exited this old motel as quickly as possible.
The staff were polite and friendly Room itself had a cigarette smell when we asked for non smoking. Rooms are very small, bed was awful and bathroom had mole. I understand you get what you pay for but this hotel was not cheap. I was not comfortable being there.
There were multiple black hairs in the bath tub
Staff was great, ez check in, ez check out Regular wifi is very poor, $3 for upgrade is well worth it, upgraded wifi is top notch.
The price. I was given a room I didn't pay for; meaning a two bed smoking room which I could not sleep at all. The room smelled horrible. The night clerk argued with my girlfriend about the issue and couldn't resolve the issue. I was told to speak to the manager the following morning which was pointless and aggravating without proper sleep.
the attitude of people sitting at front desk was pathetic enough to inhibit me visiting the hotel again. Not only they were rude but on one night when I had electric short ccircuit in my room, I was asked to deal with it myself and the phone was hung on me. I did book a complant next morning but nothing happened
it was convinient to the trolley system it was our honeymoon and that was not acknowledged
Quiet and relaxing, no noise from the rooms next too or the outside. Staff very knowledgable of the area and asking if we needed anything. Very clean rooms and well furnished. Parking was tight for a full size truck, but with one way in and out it cut down on the traffic noise.
Location was nice. close to Zoo and downtown (if driving) Breakfast area a little crowded. (but what do you want for free)
Breakfast was good overall conditions of hotel are pretty decent...close drive to downtown and other attractions. N/A
The staff was courteous and helpful. It was located close to the church and the activity to which we went. We liked having a refrigerator and microwave.
the hotel was okay, the room was quite spacious and the bed was big. these guys told me my reservation was not registered at their system and charged me 15 $ extra. He also told that about 20 other people had booked by booking.com but they didn't even have a connection with Booking. Afterwards I regret to accept their offer.
This is the second Rodeway Inn I have stayed in, and both time were to go to a sports game. This place is the closest hotel to the stadium for a great price. The rooms were clean and the whole place was well kept. Hands down the best place I've stayed in for $60 a night. Loud, vibrating noise kept going off every 5-10 minutes around 9-10pm. May have been a water heater? There were a lot of people in the hotel the night I stayed.
