Cons: Just there weren't any restaurants around that stayed open past 10:30
Pros: Breatkfast, Clean room, friendly staff
Cons: - No Sandal available nor even offers in front desk, while they have pool and Jacuzzi.
- Hotel is over priced for what it offers
Pros: Everything! We were expecting such an amazing stay. As soon as we walked in, we were in awe with the modern, yet contemporary feel. The front desk host was also nice as can be.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was very good
Cons: The main entrance and lobby area is under construction this includes the proper restaurant and bar area. We were not aware of this when booking. This made navigating around the place a bit of a challenge, the make shift restaurant bar was in a banquet room. Construction noise carried on even on the Sunday
Pros: rooms felt clean and modern
Cons: No parking

Pros: Great views, amazing beds, spacious rooms, excellent free breakfast in the morning, nice staff, clean rooms, and one of the best locations in the downtown area. Excellent value for the price with short walks to anywhere in the downtown and along the bay, or if you don't want to walk it is a $4~ Uber to Gaslamp/downtown. Large king bed
Activities in and around
Near gas lamp District
Cons: Self parking fee - 35 (50 deposit)
Better soundproof doors closer to elevators
Near gas lamp district
Pros: The decor was amazing throughout the hotel. The foyer/lobby was stunning along with the rooms. We stayed in the Harbor Tower on the 23rd floor. The view was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only problem we had was with our TV to where we couldn't order movies one night. The night manager gave us a $100 credit which was very satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The food at the Market wasn't good. I had a turkey sandwich from the refrigerated section and the bread was very stale. My wife ordered a bagel with cream cheese and she could hardly bite into it.
Pros: We immediately felt welcome as Rob at the front desk gave us information about the facility and its surroundings. He gave us a corner room near the top with spectacular views. We got two beds which is plenty of room for family of four. Inside the room there is is luxurious atmosphere with open space. There is also Keurig with Starbucks coffee. Overall clean and modern, with even electronic shades. I have stayed at plenty of upscale hotels and this is the best by far. The location is the best. I went jogging at the lovely Seaport Village right next to it. The Gaslamp Quarter is also near. Overall an excellent place and we would definitely come back!
Pros: Great location, we had a beautiful view of the water and of the pool area. The pool was very nice as were the hot tubs. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff was very polite. And I did not have to wait long for an elevator.
Cons: The only issue we had was that our parking pass was note coded so we were unable to exit the garage. The staff quickly corrected it thouh.
Pros: View. Room size. Location.
Cons: When I woke up in the AM i noticed my iPhone was covered in dust. I then noticed the desk with my black laptop, across from the air conditioning vent was also covered in dust particles. This is a big deal for me because I have a dust mite allergy, but still have never seen this level of dust collect just overnight. I think the air filter vents in these rooms are very very dirty and just blow dust all night as Long as the AC is running. I was extremely congested all day due to my allergy and had a hard day networking at my convention.
Also, the TV service this day and age is sub-poor. No guide and some of the channels didn't work "no signal".
Pros: Unlimited Access To EVERYTHING FUN
Pros: Everything! Service and location was best
Cons: Dusty room
Pros: The view
Cons: They changed $47 for parking
Cons: Location & price.
Pros: Our checkin was quick and we love the location.
Cons: I expected room to be a little cleaner for what we paid...
Pros: - Great location
- Great drinking & dining options
- Great interior design and decor
Cons: - Loud guests after 10pm
- A little on the expensive side
- Add-on expenses (parking, water, etc)
Prime Waterfront location on San Diego Bay. Offers a resort-like setting with bay view rooms. Five minutes from the airport and walking distance to San Diego Convention Center, Seaport Village, Headquarters and Gaslamp Quarter. Easy access to San Diego Zoo, Sea World and Beaches.
Cons: Old place. TV's are.....could use replacing. No TV guide....
Pros: For travelors that actually travel, and not lounge, then you will enjoy this hotel for it's location. The hotel is two blocks from the transit center. The transit center is a hub for trains, trollies, and buses. The trolley system is fast, and can reach all of San Diego in minutes with an all day pass of $5. The pass is also good for most bus routes. Old Town is a block away, and has the best food in all of sd. Mission Beach is 15 minutes away. I spent my time in the Gaslamp District and Old Town, and traveled with ease! Also, there is a liquor/mini store 3 blocks away for saving on meals, but most of Old Town has happy hours with super good deals on lots of food. Staff was kind, and room always fresh.
Cons: The Wi-Fi was a little too slow. The pool was refreshing, but it would have been a tad nicer if slightly heated. The rooms seem to have a pre set tempature, so if you need it hot or need it cold, you're kinda stuck. It felt like it was at 67 degrees. I like it cold, so I just opened the bathroom window and the front window and created a natural draft that made it very enjoyable. I rarely stayed at the hotel though, due to my interest in really seeing the city. Comfy bed, hot showers, plenty of pillows.
Pros: Near old town, best price...
Cons: Blanket, a little unconfortable...
Pros: The Inn was on walking distance from cosy Old Town and the Old Town Trolley station. The rooms were spacious and adequately clean.
Cons: The lack of heating in November when night time temperatures drop to about 10°C was rather uncomfortable. Nobody likes waking up in a cold room. Upon repeated requests the staff finally managed to put the heating system on. Unfortunately the heating system had a tendency to set the activate the fire detector.
Pros: The staff was excellent. Very helpful, pleasant, and knowledgable about the area attractions.
Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: The room was very old and had cracks everywhere. The restroom was falling apart as well as the tub. There was a weird door that had plants in it. very weird and dirty.
Pros: Really like the service. Room was decent and clean. No odors. Best price I can find in the area. Easy parking. Great location.
Cons: Unable to get the air conditioning to work. The walls are too thin; can hear neighbor's tv on all night.
Pros: The price and location were great. Also, we appreciated their early check in time (2pm). It was easy to get to and close to major freeways.
Cons: Your double message is confusing. How can one write anything they didn't like and at the same time not complain? Anyhow, the clerk wouldn't give my wife a print out of our transaction and the total, as we checked out, and he informed her that the actual price of the room varies between us and Booking.com.so he couldn't tell her what it was. I had to go in and request a print out and inform him that the transaction was between us and the motel and not Booking.com. He finally gave me a print out with the total, which was the one we expected.

Pros: I love that they have barbecue tuesday the burgers were delicious and they have veggie patties. Free beer, wine and sodas. They have a bombfire on the patio. Definetely love this place
Cons: Amaizing experience. Breakfast its a buffet and you can make your own waffle. Staff has excelent customer services .
Pros: The staff were very friendly
Cons: The sofa bed was really hard amd uncomfortable
Pros: the rooms were quiet
Cons: Aging building and schedule of breakfast (End early on weekdays)
Pros: Location, staff, breakfasts, dinner entree.
Cons: Hot tub controls needed fixing

Cons: Not giving free breakfast (even charge in rate).
Pros: Comfortable Victorian luxury.
Cons: Tv cable connection constantly lost connection.
Pros: Very clean room, called for early check in. Gave us very a tiny beautiful room with balcony, great bar and wonderful breakfast.
Cons: Valet was so expensive, fireplace never worked, our room was very very small. I did not get a call back from the lost and found. I left my personal pillow, called back twice they never responded. It was hard to sleep from the noise outside.
Pros: You guys cancelled my reservation for a conference.......
Cons: You guys cancelled my reservation for a conference....... :(
Pros: Charming hotel with unique "old times" style with newer modern amenities. Their balcony rooms are beautiful and the beds are amazingly comfortable. Great location for gaslamp!
Pros: The location was fantastic, right in the middle of downtown. Walking distance from nearly everything. The price was significantly better than other much pricier hotels in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The fireplace in the room didn't really work. The maintenance guy came to the room, but couldn't figure out how to fix it. Not a huge deal, but a bit disappointing. The ceiling above us was creaky... every time the people in the room above would move around the ceiling would creak and squeak. It was annoying, but otherwise the room was quiet.
Pros: Really great location. We went for a date night and were close to great restaurants, nightlife and the mall.
Really loved the Victorian feel
Cons: Tiny room!
No fridge in the room (sad to not store our dinner left overs)
Pros: The whole experience was great. The room was perfect for the 2 of us and the gas fireplace was wonderful. We had a great view as well. The downstairs courtyard was gorgeous and I wish we had taken advantage of it more. The location was ideak, walking distance from everything we wanted and needed to do. The staff was super friendly and the room service was great.
Cons: i would just suggest bigger pillows :)
Pros: Nice ambiance. Restaurant was great. Front desk service was very friendly.
Cons: Being near the convention center it was a bit noisy and rooms that face the center courtyard are subject to echo of conversation late at night.
Pros: Room nicely appointed and bed extremely comfortable
Cons: The valet needs to bring his coffee with him at 7am or drink before he leaves home. I had to rustle him up to make an 8am appointment.
Pros: location was nice. Common areas beautiful. Staff helpful. Overall clean. In general, happy with our 1 night stay too celebrate anniversary
Cons: Room on the small side, which was ok for our short stay, but not if you've got plenty of luggage. Some minor details could use touch ups (e.g., bottom corner of doors in bathroom chipped). Not sound proof.
Pros: I liked the location, the decor, the patio dining, food, staff, price.
The Horton Grand is a supremely crafted recreation of San Diego history and Victorian architecture, located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter and mere steps away from the Convention Center, Petco Park, Horton Plaza, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Cons: When I called to ask a simple question about the parking. A snobby person answered and it sounded like they were forced to talk to me. He wasn't genuinely friendly and didn't make me feel comfortable to stay at your hotel. You Need to improve on bettering your customer service.
Pros: They went above and beyond when I requested to have a surprise bubbly in the room before we got there.
Cons: No parking lot.
Pros: Very convenient to the Gaslamp Quarter and walking distance to the Convention Center, Navy Pier and the Coronado ferry. Beautiful building and nice updated rooms.
Pros: Great Location, walking distance to the downtown area & and just 15 minute walk to the Coronado ferry!
Pros: Historic charm.
Cons: Quite a bit of street noise gets into room.

Pros: It was so exciting to meet wanderers from all over the world. There are so many stories to be shared and so many opportunities to do so. The Hostel is hospitable and so colorful.
The laundry room was also a big plus!
Pros: The staff is young and enthusiastic, very welcoming. The rules in place make you feel safe and the location is great near downtown and major attractions.
Cons: Could use some cleanup in some areas or air freshener to improve air quality in common areas.
Pros: Not much; it is mediocre
Cons: First of all rude staff (at least one); then other staff not really compatible and/pr knowledgeable (young girls arrived fresh from Brazil and put in charge of reception).
The place is small, not really much of common areas (other than outside); Not very clean; congested bathrooms (upstairs where I stayed there was just one single bathroom for 4 room (that is 24 people...). Very small kitchen and dining room; and no breakfast (other than the instant packet of oatmeal).
For the booking process online I give Zero; it is kind of misleading, in few ways.
Total score - mediocre minus minus.
Pros: Nice, friendly, cozy, positive
Cons: kind of small, rocking bunk beds, short on common areas and kitchen facilities
Pros: Great community of people. There are always fun activities going on every day. You can eat breakfast and dinner there for free! It was by far better than any hotel I've stayed in =) Thank you!

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The location for functions at he Convention Center is excellent.
Pros: I liked everything. Great location right in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter, friendly and helpful staff, downstairs bar, clean and spacious room, nice decor, free wifi, and the mobile check in via text was a cool feature.
Cons: $40 valet is the only parking option offered by the hotel, and although I didn't have a problem with the service, a discount for hotel guests would be nice
Pros: Space, cleanliness and kitchen, will definitely recommend.
Cons: Parking valet is $41, ouch !!!!

Pros: It was a pleasure talking with Bill in the office.
Pros: Bob, a front desk employee, was very friendly and welcoming when checking in.
Pros: Room was clean. Management was polite and helpful
for the most part. Pool and spa were welcome and mostly clean. Close to beach. Beds slept OK.
Cons: Parking was free , but difficult and insufficient. When it filled up on the weekend there weren't enough spaces. Staff said
tough luck , it's the beach on a weekend!
Took the manager & a lot of grief to resolve.
Room amenities were minimal. Bath had sewer smell,
was a step down & hard to negotiate at night.
Lots of road noise.
Pros: Staff was great! Extremely helpful and friendly. 1 minute walk to the boardwalk, great price. Clean, but no hair dryer.
Cons: No bath tub; standing shower only
Pros: Ease of access to beach. Location to just about everything SD and LaJolla has to offer. Especially easy to visit with my son.
This is the third or fourth stay here and for the price I'll continue to stay here.
Cons: When I made the reservation, I know it indicated that the kitchen included. When I got there I was told, reservation for room only and I would have to pay an additional $10/night for the kitchen which I did as having that is important to me. Disappointed.
The Beach Haven is located 1 block from the beach in the Pacific beach area of San Diego. Centrally located to many San Diego attractions, including Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Old Town San Diego and more. Beach Haven features large suites with kitchens, heated pool with spa and A/C. Pros: Loved pool and hot tub
Pros: This is a really good hotel. The breakfast is good and the rooms are really nice. If be happy to stay here again.
Pros: Room was clean with many amenities. Staff was courteous and helpful. Would gladly stay there again.
Cons: I think it's overpriced

Cons: Had to share/take blankets from the main bed to keep those on the sofa bed warm.
Pros: I loved the look and feel of the hotel. The front desk were amazing too.
Cons: The cleaners only gave us towels and toilet paper, they didn't make beds.
It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The grounds were very well kept and the staff extremely friendly. Especially the gentleman preparing the breakfast each morning.
Pros: The updated room was very cozy and comfortable. I loved that we could walk to other restaurants. Very nice neighborhood. Breakfast was wonderful also.
If the staff is sick send them home. I got sick because of it and it ruined my family's trip. send your employees around to find out who is smoking weed. there was a soccer team there and kids(12-14 tear olds) were trying to talk him into giving them some. this is what you get when you stay at a 1 Star Hotel.
Pros: the bed was comfortable
Cons: one of the staff had a cold and was coughing and sneezing all over the front desk. I actually got a cold because of that, and that ruined the trip!!

Cons: The exhaust fan in the bathroom was so loud that it disturbed our sleep even with the door closed.
Pros: The Woodstock suite was awesome the room with balcony was great. The restaurant Mary Janes was very good and Robbie the concierge was very helpful. Fun place to be
Cons: After checking in and not an early check in were were barged in by the cleaning staff. That could have been embarrassing, right! Then I get an email a day after checkout with a 93.00 minibar charge we took 2 waters and two beers, even at crazy assed minibar prices that doesn't add up to 93.00. It is disappointing because we really had a good time and I like the hotel and their staff, but I don't like being screwed!
Cons: Stop charging resort fees. Include microwave and minifridge in each room.
Pros: The room decor and layout was very modern and had a nice feel to it.The staff was very friendly and nothing but helpful when needed. Couldn't have asked for better service.
Cons: The mattress was a bit too soft for my liking. Also the walk in shower looked great and the dual shower heads were nice but it caused large amounts of water to pool up where you're supposed to dry off
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and my view was amazing!
Cons: One of my towels was dirty upon arrival.
Pros: Great location, great staff, clean, funky and fun.
Cons: Rooms are small and water pressure sucks.
Pros: Location is excellent - in the heart of Gaslamp Quarter, actually right next to the Gaslamp sign. Pretty good view depending on where the room is located. Direct exits to 5th Ave, 6th Ave, and L St is a nice added convenience.
Studio King room was great - clean, modern decor, comfortable bedding, great bathroom with rainfall and standard shower head, iPhone 5+ dock, good channel selection on TV.
Lobby and surrounding have nice, clean, modern decor.
Cons: After housekeeping, we found that the original iPhone dock we were provided was switched for a different model. The original one was better for us, as we could directly mount the phone for charging without a cable needed. The newer model required a cable, which we didn't have. Called the desk and they didn't know why it was switched, and said they'd follow up to resolve the issue... they never did.
Overall, staff is not the most helpful.
Pros: Nice Location
Cons: High price
Pros: Fine hotel
Cons: Was charged for a king suite and received a regular room. Haven't received the credit yet.
Pros: Location was great. Right at the start of the Gaslamp District. Walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. Close to the baseball stadium. Staff was friendly and offered good suggestions for dinner. Gym was nice.
Cons: Arrived on the day of a baseball game. Road closures made it difficult to get to the valet drop off point. Valet only. Cannot park your own car. Wish the hotel room was more clean. Lots of items in the room (i.e. Snacks and items for purchase) that hadn't been swapped out in a long time. For a 4 star hotel I expected a little more. Room needed a refresh - signs of wear and tear.
Pros: Tech /music accesbility. Hospitality. Clubs, bars, and restaurant in the building
Cons: Price for parking
This chic, rock 'n' roll-themed hotel is 6 minutes' walk from the lively Gaslamp Quarter and a mile from shopping and eateries in Seaport Village.
Cons: Room was very small. Was put at a poolside view, but there was a big tree blocking our view right in front of my window. In the middle of a business area.

Other features include a terrace and a garden.
Pros: Location is excellentl. Amenities of hotel are up to date and staff were helpful and cordial
Cons: Hotel is nearly a hundred years old. Room was on the small side but that is to expected.
Cons: I loved everything
Pros: It's location is perfect. Walking distance to pretty much everything you would want to do downtown; gaslamp, marina, horton plaza, etc. Room was perfect for me and my girlfriend. Staff was very accomodating.
Pros: Nice lobby with friendly staff greeting us upon arrival. Lots of charm with short excerpts posted throughout highlighting the history of the building. Room was comfortable with all needed amenities for a place to stay. The purpose of our stay was the city. This room gave us a comfy pillow top mattress to rest and recharge each night with complimentary water keeping us hydrated. Workout facility was nice and hardly crowded during our stay. No complaints and would gladly stay here again.
Cons: Rooms were small. There was no view including limited sunlight through the window plus the "green" lighting made it so you had to turn every light in the room on when getting ready. Bathroom was small and no vent :-/. Closet didn't open all the way due to being obstructed by the bedside table (again, room was small). I'm being as honest as possible with these negative, but the purpose of the room was met and the pros far exceeded the cons during our stay.
Cons: I was surprised to have to pay a mandatory fee for services that I did not use or want. I thought that was very unfair of the hotel.
Pros: Amazing staff. Overall very nice hotel.
Cons: Dust. This is the the only minus.
Cons: This is by far the worst hotel I've ever been in! The room, (505) was so small that I think they had to build the room around the bed. It was so small that the bathroom had to have a sliding door. I truly don't believe a normal door would be able to open / close. The air conditioning didn't work and the overall area seemed seedy. Numerous bailed bond companies with likely clients in the area. When I asked about the area the clerk advised, "Just stay on Broaday."
Pros: The room was small, but comfortable. It had everything you could want, including a mini frig. The location was great. Within walking, or public transportation, to everything downtown San Diego has to offer.
Cons: The valet parking was expensive.
Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: The room was very loud. We were able to hear in the most precise detail what was going on in the room next to us (including our neighbor's conversations and television preferences). We ask to be moved, but the second room was equally as bad.
Pros: Very friendly staff, the location was perfect. Valet parking was great. The room was smaller than expected, but was well equipped.
Pros: Excellent hotel that is well priced and located.
Pros: Nicely restored hotel with character. Restaurant/bar is very good with open, upbeat ambiance. Bed was excellent quality. Room was pleasant. We would stay here again. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and club area as well as to the harbor with the Midway Museum.
Cons: Got in about 9:45 p m and the hotel restaurant had closed early. Although the walk to the restaurant area was easy, there are about three blocks of homeless sleepers which was a bit uncomfortable.

Cons: Thus is a downgrade from lot of 4 star hotels. Never staying in one again.
Pros: Hotel is in a great location, bed was nice, as was the decor.
Cons: Last two nights there, the lobby smelled like a stadium bathroom, staff was not helpful upon checking in, the front door to the hotel has to be the most awkward door I have ever seen on a hotel. Also, instead of having an actual door on the bathroom, they have a sliding glass door. Just a word of warning, if you have a knock at the door and someone is in the shower be sure to pull the door closed because you can see straight into the shower from the entryway. That is poor planning and inexperience. I would not stay here again nor recommend to anyone.
Pros: Comfy beds
Pool area is nice
Cons: Unexpected construction noise from the hotel that started before 7am.
Very strange bathroom door
Inconsistent level of service and friendliness raging from super friendly and nice to border-line rude
Pros: Everything offered and available to guests. The rooms are small, but beautiful
Cons: Size of room for price paid
Pros: Had booked a skyline room and upon arrival front desk told us they had overbooked and put us in a huge skyline suite. Courteous staff, awesome room with a great view and walking distance to all the nightlife in gas lamp. Will be coming back soon
Pros: The location to Gas Lamp District was perfect!
Cons: The cost of overnight parking.....
Pros: Staff was very friendly
Cons: Overpriced for what I received.
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: bed uncomfortable, shower rain head, video/TV system slow/
Pros: Comfortable rooms and beds. Super friendly staff.
Pros: The atmosphere was upscale and classy, felt great staying at a great hotel. Room service was a little steep (typical...) but the food was delicious - the staff recommended some foods that were spot on.
Room decor was great, modern and classy. Hardwood floors made it feel a little upscale.
Cons: The bathroom is just a total mess. Shower head position is too low for anyone 5'5" or taller - requiring you to use the head manually (why???).
Bathroom door is a sliding door but doesn't exactly provide too much privacy since you can see through the cracks - perfect angle if you want to watch your friend on the toilet...
Iron was awful - took way too long and was just cheap overall or needed replacing.
Cleanliness was awkward - arrived at the hotel (6pm) and was told our room needs to be cleaned. We arrived in the room, saw the hardwood floors were soaking wet (slipping lawsuit anyone?) and found residual items from the previous guests.
Would be nice to upgrade those 2003 radios to the new iphone 5 or usb players...
Pros: The decor was very modern
Cons: Staff was rude, the room was very small.
Pool was closed for a wedding on Saturday, they told us we could walk six blocks to their sister hotel to swim, not interested.
Wedding party was loud, disruptive.
When we spoke to the manager to express our concern his response was "NO, the noise is not coming from the wedding party on the 4th floor."
We called Kempton Hotels to express our concern, they said a manager would call us back. We did not ever receive a call back.
We will not be staying at a Kempton Hotel in the future
Cons: Many user experience design issues. Rain shower is hard to wash hair in, no ability to angle it at all. No tub and nothing to prop up for to shave legs. No door on shower. Door on bathroom was not a real door and didn't close all the way. Awkward! Certainly not romantic!! Not enough hooks to hang towels. Not enough towels, only gave us 3 for two people. Hairdryer was super cheap, would expect at least a normal one if not a nice one. Nowhere to plug in anything at the desk. Front desk staff seemed very forced/rushed.
Located in Downtown San Diego, this luxury hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Westfield Horton Plaza, Petco Park, and San Diego Convention Center. Balboa Park is 1.5 mi (2.5 km) away.
Cons: My "server" was in a strange mood. He ignored taking my order 10+ minutes. He didn't fulfill a simple request, place half my order in a box. A fellow server saw his lack of professionalism and actually did his job.
Pros: The staff and location were great. This is a great place to stay out in the Point Loma area, with a great view on either side of the complex and an exceptional staff.
Discover San Diegos best kept secret, the Bay Club Hotel & Marina located on beautiful Shelter Island close to all San Diego has to offer including the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, SeaWorld, local beaches and the fantastic Gas Lamp Quarter of Downtown. Our waterfront hotel offers charming rooms with nautical dcor and views of our private marina and Point Loma or San Diego Bay and the downtown skyline, all with balconies or patios. The Quarterdeck Restaurant has panoramic water views and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Relax by our outdoor heated pool and spa both overlooking the marina. Meeting/banquet /wedding space is available.
Pros: The room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathrooms pretty well maintained, pleasant staff. Basic breakfast but I guess that is standard for hostels, at least it was something. Not too far from public transportation. HI San Diego took care of my needs while I was checking out the city for a couple days.
Cons: More counter space in the bathrooms would be nice. Several of my toiletries fell in the sink/on the floor because there is not much room for a girl to spread out her things. Also their power source is weak or something. I had to sit around and wait forever for my phone to charge at the end of each day and I tried several outlets in the building. It would have been nice to have an outlet by my bed so I could charge overnight.
Pros: Great location, right in the heart of downtown. It was a block away from a CVS and close to other grocery stores. Extremely close to the Padre's baseball stadium and about a mile or two away from the USS Midway. For the price and location it can't be beat.
Cons: I chose a shared room with 4 other guys. Our window faced the street. I don't drink alcohol so it was a little hard to get some sleep. We either had the window closed to help muffle the noise and were really hot, or we had the window open and had a lot of outside noise.
Pros: I like it on general, their breakfast was nice and the staff is pretty helpful and nice
Cons: Did not like the the soap and the room location only it's not facing the street
Located 4 mi (6.4 km) from the airport, HI San Diego Downtown offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of San Diego Convention Center and Petco Park. Free perks include continental breakfast and WiFi. Also, San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park are within a short drive.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy to access.
Cons: Loud freeway noise.
Pros: Conveniently located between downtown and Pacific Beach. Friendly and courteous staff, clean room. Will consider staying here again in the future.
Cons: Parking situation. Park on street for free otherwise.
Pros: Good location, all the necessary amenities, very clean and comfortable, and great, pleasant, helpful staff
Cons: Have to pay to park in their garage
