Pros: Wonderful location. Beautiful grounds. Easy access to downtown. I 'll come back and recommend it to others
Pros: Quiet place close to downtown. Easy walking distance to restaurants and theater.
I loved my room and wished that I could have stayed longer.
Will stay again the next time I'm in Eugene.
Pros: Very close to downtown restaurants and the staff are very knowledgeable. Clean, cozy and a glass of wine in the evening. What more could I ask for. I plan to return.
Cons: The bed was a bit high off the ground and the step ladder only on one side of the bed. I moved the night light to the bathroom to remind myself not to fall off the bed!
Pros: Beautiful historic b&b
Cons: There was some plumbing issues and privacy doesn't feel as good as when you're in a hotel.
Pros: Beautiful historic property in great locaton! Excellent service and very comfortable. Included a glass of wine at arrival to sip on whIle enjoying the lush lawn and landscaping. Also came with a full-service breakfast. Woder full value!
Cons: We couldn't stay longer was the only downside!
Cons: I was not expecting our room to be in a basement. It was comfortable and there were windows but the bathtub would not drain properly.
Pros: We received an exceptional deal while searching for last minute accommodations through Priceline via Kayak. The Campbell Inn was as described as a majestic ole home on the edge of downtown Eugene. Courteous staff, great breakfast and other nice touches made a quick night's stay a more enjoyable evening than we planned! We'll come back when we're in town and will recommend it to friends.
Pros: I booked this B&B last minute instead of a major chain. My room was small but very comfortable and the bed was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be back!
Pros: Everything was just so and the staff were great!
Pros: Loved our stay! Doesn't feel generic like a chain hotel and they keep very very good care of it. Nice and clean and warm! Great location close to downtown but no street traffic of downtown. The best continental breakfast you'll ever get. Amber at the front desk was super!
Pros: Everything was thoughtfully executed, a true pleasure..
Cons: Waitresses were not to the level of the house
Pros: The building is so quaint and beautiful. When we walked up to the door it felt so alive and homey with the lucious landscaping. The free wine on check-in was such a nice surprise, as well as the made to order sweet or savory breakfast. We were here for a family getaway, but it would be a perfect place for a romantic getaway. Definitely a must stay!
Cons: The only thing we were upset about were the negative reviews regarding this place. It's not your hip downtown hotel, but a definite for the relaxation of Eugene provides.

Pros: Staff were very accommodating. Allowed for very early check in and we used their complimentary car service multiple times. Would definitely come back.
Pros: We have been coming to Eugene for the last two years because our son goes to school there. This is the first time we stayed at the Inn and loved it. We met the owner Brian in the elevator and he graciously welcomed us and made us feel at home. Everyone who worked there was truly welcoming and struck up a conversation with us. The rooms were spotless. Very highly recommended.
Pros: Loved everything about this hotel. The room was very large with a sitting area dining area and a very large bathroom with double sinks! The room also had a working fire place and a very comfortable bed! The room was exceptionally clean and we didn't want to leave. The feel of the hotel is luxurious as soon as you walk in the lobby. The outside does not do the hotel justice. Absolutely worth the value.
Cons: There seemed to be a train beat by and we could hear the horn several times during the night.

Pros: Fantastic staff. Rooms were cozy, clean, and the beds are oh so comfy. The free breakfast is quite tasty. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant otherwise, but I have a feeling we will be back again...

Pros: I liked my room with a view. The bed was really comfortable, everything was new, clean and good smelling. The furniture was modern and overall it felt really cozy wish I new it had it's own kitchenette I would have brought some food to cook.
Cons: I didn't like that there was no shampoo or lotion. I would say a bit more sample items for the bathroom would be nice.
Pros: Only a 10 mins walk from downtown. Gorgeous park across the street for walking, jogging, or cycling.
Pros: The room was very clean, comfortable bed, and we had s view of the Willamette River

Pros: Easy to get just about anywhere. Clean and a friendly staff
Cons: Seemed a bit pricy for the amenities
Pros: Room was clean and welcoming. Has mini fridge, large not small box. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and new looking. Carpet is older and stained but you don't go to a place for the carpet.
Cons: Wish smokers weren't smoking just outside their rooms but I guess that can't be helped :P
Pros: The staff was great! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great downtown location. I will stay there again!
Cons: Parking could be a challenge. Construction on the road was a bit of a pain, but nothing Downtown Inn can do about that!

Pros: This hotel is very clean and new. Nico at the front desk went out of his way to help us with information regarding our tour of the University of Oregon. Nico does a great job of providing superior customer service! This hotel is a great place to stay if you're visiting the University of Oregon, it is literally across the street.
Pros: Like many of the hotels located on Franklin Blvd, I would assume the rates are increased anytime there is some kind of event being held at the U of O. I paid $174.00 per night plus fees...and it was not a football weekend. A fair price would have been around 119.00 to 149.00 per night. That said, it is a nice clean hotel

Pros: Kids enjoyed the pool I personally thought it could of been a bit warmer but happy with it.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. We had a better night's sleep than we have in a very long time.
Cons: There were notes written from the previous guest on the notepad, there was used soap and shampoo in the shower, and there was old food in the refrigerator.
Pros: The hotel room is large and roomy. Bathroom is big and clean. love the free movie option.
Cons: Location is a little remote, but not a big deal if you have a car.

Pros: We liked the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was professional.
Cons: They advertised a free shuttle to the airport but didn't have it available till later then our need of one at 4:15 am. We had to pay an extra $30 we had not anticipated. Taxi took long way to airport telling us it would be faster. It wasn't. Our choice of this hotel was made on having a shuttle available, so we were disappointed.
Pros: Very helpful staff. Alex at front desk was great. Loved the breakfast.
Cons: Some faulty vending machines
Pros: Nice checkout time
Cons: My car almost got towed because the staff neglected to give me a parking pass. Did not know one was needed so that would have been a huge bummer
Was a bit pricey also
Bummer that the jacuzzi jets were not working
Pros: The staff were friendly, the room was super clean and well kept, the complimentary breakfast and shuttle service to and from the airport was a huge plus too.
Pros: Loved how close it was to nearby bars and university. Make sure you stop by voodoo donut, well worth it. Staff was nice and professional and gave us good recommendations.
Pros: Location was great and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Wasn't very clean and small bathrooms
Pros: The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and it's a great location within walking distance of the University of Oregon campus. Couldn't really ask for more.
Pros: Great staff, very helpful and hospitable, from front desk to breakfast staff to housekeepers. Great breakfast with lots of choices.
Cons: Walls a bit thin - late groups being loud in the hallway.

Guests can take a dip in the indoor pool or visit the fitness center for a workout. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with LCD TVs and premium bedding.
Pros: The location and the room size. Oh, and the bed was excellent.
Cons: Poor lighting in the room makes it hard to read.
Pros: Centrally located, clean, friendly staff.
Pros: Large roomKitchenetteSnacks in evening with wine and GREAT Breakfast!
Cons: My husband is a light sleeper and he heard the road noise. We were on the first floor (per our request) and could hear the folks above us.Next time we will request a higher floor and a more interior room
Pros: Great location near Autzen stadium. Loved our stay here for our anniversary.
Pros: The riverwalk with a lovely park is right across the street. We enjoyed the jacuzzi outdoors and the buffet breakfast.Staff was superbly helpful.
Cons: Tricky finding it even with a detailed map.
Very nice place, updated rooms, exceptionally nice staff, free breakfast.
Pros: Staff, amenities, cleanliness
Pros: I was disappointed at first, since from the hallways and the elevator, the hotel is a little dated. However, the room was quite nice. I loved the fireplace and the couch. It was also a nice surpris to have a refrigerator in the room to put my leftovers
Cons: The hallways were a little dirty, but that could have been just during the time of my stay. As I was walking down the hallway I was thinking, 'Is this really a 3 star hotel?!'. But I found the room was nice.
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly & accommodating - they rushed to make my room ready when I asked to check in early; had free toiletries I had forgotten; social time in the evening that included fajitas and complementary drinks; gas fireplace in room
Cons: Would have been nice to be within walking distance of my conference, but the good experience made up for short drive (free parking was nice too).
Food and drink offerings were great in the morning and evening.
Pros: Lovely accommodations! Comfortable in every way.
Cons: The loud air conditioning turning on and off during the night.
This property is definitely a top of the line Residence Inn. Great location, close to downtown Eugene, highways, etc. Tucked away in a quiet corner of town, minimal noise. Good place to get a great night's sleep.
Pros: Rooms are well appointed and comfortable for short or long stays. And the staff is very friendly, attentive and efficient.
Cons: No complaints.
Excellent hotel. Suite includes fully functional kitchen living room, and bedroom. Awesome outdoor swimming pool hot tub.
Happy with the overall experience. Would stay again. Got a GREAT rate that I got on Priceline!
Pros: Nice to have the kitchen feature! Breakfast was good. Nice to not have to go anywhere else for that and coffee in the morning.
Cons: I was surprised for a three star hotel to find a few hairs on the floors. Possibly pet? Since they are allowed here...Otherwise, overall good experience.

Pros: We stayed one night at the Timbers and it was just fine. It's an older motel but located very close to campus. The room was comfortable and clean.
Pros: The Timbers has a good location in downtown Eugene, parking, and a room that are nicer than you might expect. You would guess that it will be another cookie-cutter hotel room, but it actually had some character.
Cons: We stayed on New Year's Eve, and there were some people partying directly above us that night. I don't fault the hotel much for this, but it was still annoying.
Pros: Love the wood floors loved the size of the room and great location
Cons: Heater didn't work right breakfast is yuk
Pros: I liked the cleanliness, the ambiance, the exquisite taste in decorating, the all wooden floors, and the great attitude of the desk personnel!!! A plus for this unnasuming motel in Eugene!!! It is a little gem in a sea of crappy motels! Thank-you Timbers!!!
Cons: There was nothing at all that I didn't like! Excellent value for your money!!
Pros: The room was spacious. The name of the motel probably tells you but I wanted to emphasize that it's a very nice looking "wooodsy" motel decor. The exterior is made of painted cedar boards and a massive beam look;, the 2nd floor rooms have vaullted ceilings constructed of exposed beams holding an exposed and good-looking cedar board roof deck-ceiling. The floors are finished oak. The overall feeling is very nice.
We had a king-sized bed, and it was comfortable,
Cons: It advertises free breakfast -- which turns out to be a rather Spartan like affair, mostly a continental breakfast snack.
Pros: Beautifully renovated interior with mostly new furnishings and decor. Lock was not the safest on the door; it was the original lock and only locked partially on some settings. Free hbo channel. Could be $10-$20 cheaper for the location and size but for a just passing thru stay it was perfect.
Cons: Location, door lock, price ( but it was far cheaper than the other liveable motel/hotel options). Watch billing- orbitz told me 1 night and the motel 3 nights- they fixed it but just double check to be safe!
Pros: A nice and clean place that was very nice for the price range.
Cons: The shower never got "super hot".
Pros: Love the idea of a motor lodge that gives five star service.
Pros: It's location was great
Cons: The room was cramped and the fridge did not work
Pros: the beds were very comfortable. the room more spacious than the pictures represented. excellent downtown location easily walkable to shops and restaurants.
Cons: although very clean, the hotel could use a face lift. not a luxury hotel, but a good bargain for a last minute booking
Timbers Motel puts you within a 10-minute drive of McArthur Court and Matthew Knight Arena. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 10 AM. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Luxurious bed. Clean. Nice shower. Good water pressure. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
Cons: I did not like constantly hearing the sound of water rushing through the pipes. It kept me up most of the night. When I checked out, the guest in front of me told the person behind the desk that he and his family hardly slept because of the sound of the water in the pipes.
He suggested you insulate the walls.
Cons: We oiled hear loud neighbors lol night talking and banging furniture against our common wall. Walls didn't appear to be very sound proof.
Pros: It was clean and had an easy check in and out. The pool and hot tub were nice.
Cons: The shower didn't work and would not get hot either.
Pros: The desk staff was friendly and overall helpful
Cons: Rooms are dark and smelly. Feels dirty. Tiny, scratchy towels with a bar of soap and cheap combo bottle of shampoo/conditioner. Parking lot overcrowded especially with uhauls and trucks. Fitness center was a treadmill and broken down combo equipment piece. Pool cloudy and smelly. Far overpriced for a "motel 6" place.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Nice clean rooms. Great location by the park.
Pros: Breakfast was good. Found some long black hairs in bed& shower (not ours). Staff left dirty coffee cups & old coffee on counter.
Pros: Computer room
Cons: Maintenance guy doing loud repairs in stairwell next to room before 9 am Sunday morning. I am a marine painter/blaster that works long hours multiple days of the week. I was looking for a late start to my day Sunday morning. Rude!
Pros: I like staying here but before I had a chance to shower the main water line broke...stuff happens..
Overall a nice hotel, just unlucky break!
Pros: The room was nice and large and had enough space for two people to stay comfortably. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner kept room cool. Continental breakfast was good. Coffee was good.
Cons: Bed cover too heavy. Was almost no counter space at sink. Air conditioner rattled. Continental breakfast food barely warm. Very crowded dining area. Parking lot was too small for this hotel. I could not find a place to park after returning from dinner with my family.
Pros: The front desk staff was great! The facility was okay. Parking was pretty tight
Cons: There was some dirty pillow cases on the bed. The ceiling over the shower was very moldy. Overall it was okay.

Pros: The Hilton is located in a great place, is clean, and is much nicer than your average motel.
Cons: The service at the restaurant is terrible. The food is okay. The room is just better than okay. We are Hilton honors members and shouldn't have had to pay for parking, but after we left our emailed bill said we were charged. I guess I get to make that call later.
Cons: I got charged $19 for parking. Unaware this would be the case.
Pros: It is located at almost the center of downtown and you can simply walk to almost anything. The standard king size room I was given was nice and clean as well.
Cons: I am fine with almost everything except with how Hilton and the staff handled my situation with the room. I originally booked the King Executive Jr suite. However, when I got there, they said there was a problem with the toilet in the room that they sold it to me. As a result, I was only given the choice of a double queen room or a standard King size room. I asked about other King exec suites but they said they cannot change to others. I then asked about the big price difference between the available rooms and if I can be compensated or refunded in anyway. They said they can't refund and they simply gave me a coupon (worth 35 dollars total for 2 people) for breakfast and free parking that is worth like 20 dollars. I was then put into a stand King room. Totally a joke. Super disappointed on how they dealt with my situation.
Pros: The friendly staff gave us an upgrade to a corner room and it was very spacious. The bed was wonderful and the coffee in the room was better than what they served in the restaurant!! Nice fridge and coffee pot in the room. The updates were all nice too!
Cons: When I booked online, they didn't state the extra charges. Parking - $17 per night, Pet fee - $50 and the restaurant food was spendy too! If I had been aware of these fees, I would have been able to compare rates better with other hotels. Other than that, I would have given this place a 5.
Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff, tidy and clean, upgraded finishes, nice place.
Cons: The trains....

Pros: This was the perfect spot for visiting the University of Oregon. We could just walk across the street and we were there.
Pros: Everything the hot tub , the customer service was amazing , clean , comfortable beds
Cons: Pool was cold , needs more washers and dryers
Pros: Not too much to like here
Cons: Be careful when booking this hotel with the intention of bringing your pet. First they charge you an additional $10/night in order to get a "pet friendly" room, then when you get there they charge you an additional $20/night for actually bringing your pet. So in essence, there is a $30/night fee for pets which is much higher than other hotels in the area. Not to mention the rooms are musty smelling and in spite of their claim that the hotel was recently renovated, the rooms are far from the nicest in town. Do yourself a favor and choose one of the newer hotels in the Gateway area of town, you'll be glad you did!
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and the people were nice. The room was a comfortable size. Had plenty of room to move around in room.
Cons: The only downfall that I had was, that the bathroom was to small.
Pros: The room was clean and location was quiet. Walking distance to most University buildings and venues.
Cons: The room was dark with not a lot of natural light. Bathroom countertop space was limited. We had 2 queen beds and there was not a lot of space between beds and cabinets. But everything I needed for a great weekend!

Pros: We had a pickup truck and trailer which couldn't be parked on site. Other than that everything was fine. I was surprised at the full size refrigerator and sink/prep area. The bed was very comfortable AND there is an awesome breakfast/lunch place next door.

Pros: We liked that it was by the river, and that there was a trail to walk along the river.. We loved that we could take our dog with us.
We loved the breakfast buffet.
Pros: The Inn had been built in the 70's and allowed to drift for a while. But there's been a lot of attention to detail recently and it shows. We've been visiting Eugene regularly for over 40 years and have stayed just about everywhere. Valley River's back on the top of the list.
Pros: Customer service was great! Shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful. Very nice restaurant, too.
Cons: No mini fridge in rooms.
Cons: If you buy a room on an online site the Valley River Inn takes away all amenities. No breakfast, etc.. Also when the staff see's your online rate their attitude completely changes to the negative. Restaurants food was very poor and very expensive.
Pros: This is one of the older luxury hotels that has been wonderfully maintained. Spacious and beautiful with all the amenities you could want. Gracious staff and the restaurant and lounge were perfect!
Pros: I thought the location of the hotel was excellent. The restraint in the hotel was so good that we didn't eat anywhere else during our trip. We loved it here and will come back in the future.
Pros: Room service food was excellent. We shared the steak dinner and a Cobb salad. The beef was terrific as was the salad. Even though the hotel is about 45 years old, the room was newly renovated. The furnishings and decorations were very nice.
Cons: Our only complaint was the bed was harder than is comfortable for us. Other than that, great stay.
Pros: Everything was great and my weekend there made going back to the real world a little better :)
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer
Pros: Sitting by and swimming in the pool was wonderful! And our meals on the deck by the river were excellent!
Pros: The decor, the staff, and the chef. Best food I've ever had at an American hotel.
Pros: Vintage 60"s architecture, condition of facilities and cleanliness, riverside food and bar service, friendly and efficient staff.
Pros: Great hotel service staff, very friendly and accomadating! Clean rooms. Comfy bed & pillows. Beautiful scenery by the river. Love the smell of cinnamon pine cones in the hallway. Enjoyed the pancake breakfast in the restaurant. Hotel was quiet & pleasant. Can't beat the location--walking distance to food & shopping. Great stay especially for price.
Cons: I personally love a mini fridge in hotel rooms and would have preferred it if the rooms had one. Also service in restaurant, although friendly was very slow and there was hardly any diners. Plug in on lamp didn't work & I didn't realize it so i awoke to a dead cell phone instead of a fully charged one. Like most hotels, there is a lack of convenient electrical outlets for charging devices. still Enoyed stay and would stay again.
Valley River Inn is surrounded by nature, with the Willamette River right outside and walking trails threading the landscape. It's also a 5-minute drive from downtown Eugene, where guests can sample some of Oregon's finest artisanal beers, and enjoy live music by the Eugene Symphony Orchestra.
Cons: Bathroom very small and needed a new door. The one in our room had extensive dry rot
Cons: Breakfast was over as early as 930 when I went down to eat. Loud heater-/air. Load rattling bathroom fan. Dingy blankets that are years old.
Pros: Price points are pretty good for long term stay, and they will work with you if you find a cheaper price online.
Cons: Parking is one car per room, and that's no joke! Their parking lot is tiny and awkward if you drive a larger vehicle.
Pros: I've stayed here on many occasions when visiting family and friends in Eugene and have always had a good stay. No frills for this little hotel, but it's clean, in a good area, the staff is friendly and they have breakfast.
Cons: The water pressure in the showers is always low.
Pros: Location to the University
Cons: Blow dryer broken and front desk didn't have a hand held one. Phone completely dead. Thin walls, need earplugs.
