Pros: Fabulous staff who couldn't do enough for us. The concierge, Anna, and Chiara, who checked us in couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. The hotel was immaculate and the gardens, beautiful. We felt very much taken care of on a very personal level. Thanks so much much for such wonderful service. We will definitely return.
Cons: It's a little away from the city but the hotel shuttle bus runs an excellent service. And besides, if we were in town, the room sizes wouldn't be as decadent.
Cons: If this hotel was anywhere else but in Rome, you would consider it old and run down. The furniture in the guest rooms is ancient and the decore is very tacky. They are trying to go for some "original decore" look, but unless they want to tell me that Julius Caesar stayed there himself it's not working. The furniture in the guest rooms are not "antiques"; they are just old.... Sadly I'm not sure there's much better in Rome. The city seems to get away with never having to remodel, update, or provide any amenities under the disguise of being "authentic."
Their "concierge" is useless. Other than showing you a map of the city and telling you how to get to the Vatican, they cannot/will not do anything to actually help you. They are really just untrained and glorified bellmen. Not what you would expect from a purported "luxury" hotel.
Finally, they seem to think that using the pool is an optional amenity. There's a charge if you want to sit anywhere by the pool. Chairs and beds are not free. What mutil-star hotel charge to use their pool??? That's the stupidest thing. The result is that everyone is forced to sit in a circle around the edge of the pool or to lay down on the concrete.
Pros: ilike the SPA and view
Cons: the way of dealing with the staff
specially concerage and room service they are very bad as 5 star hotels
nice support staff
Cons: bad location far from city center
hotel charges you for everything

Pros: Clean bathrooms with nice toiletries
Cool rustic feel of hotel; lobby area was relaxing especially after a long day of walking around;
Concierge was very helpful in planning activities;
Good central location; close to Roma Termini
Cons: Cable wasn't very functional; had to call for help a couple of times.
Pros: Stayed here once before and enjoyed my stay both times. Front desk was pleasant and helpful. Excellent location. Within 5 minutes walking distance from Roma Termini. Room was a generous size by European standards, large bathroom. Would definitely stay there again.
Pros: The Hotel was beautiful and the details were well thought out and I was impressed with Boscolo Exedra.
Cons: Be very careful if you book this hotel through a third party booking service. They did not honor my booking and the entire check in was long and delayed. The Hotel Boscolo charged my credit card that I gave them for incidentals even after I showed and emailed them the copy of the booking. Very frustrating and I am still dealing with it weeks later.
Pros: This beautiful hotel is centrally located. My room was upgraded on the 3rd floor mezzanine where the ceilings were 2 stories high. Amazing
The reception, concierge, servers, and restaurant hostess were all very nice and helpful - despite my sad attempt at speaking Italian!
I will be back soon!!
Pros: The service was amazing from the bell boys to reception as well as the dining area. The hotel was in immaculate condition. I don't believe the photos on the internet did the hotel any justice.
Luxury doesn’t just take center stage at Boscolo Exedra Roma, Autograph Collection – luxury is more like music itself, echoing through every corner of the reinterpreted 19th-century palace. Located in the heart of Rome’s city center, we balance history with contemporary to create a refined Rome experience. Enjoy days spent relaxing at one of the city’s most serene spas and nights spent in a lavish suite where you can see the Piazza della Repubblica from your window. Best of all, you’re just a short trip from the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum and the rest of Rome’s iconic attractions. Your unforgettable getaway – not to mention your spacious suite – awaits your arrival. Welcome to Boscolo Exedra Rome, Autograph Collection.
Pros: The service, friendliness and professionalism of the staff was excellent. They go above and beyond to attend to every request and detail. Very clean, beautifully appointed, great breakfast. The location is fantastic for walking and exploring Rome.
Cons: Inconsistent WiFi connection at times.
Cons: Room layout was bad. You couldn't sit at the desk and the chair had armrests so it was extremely hard to sit down in the cramped space between the bed and the desk. Poor furniture and layout.
Just off the bustling Piazza Navona, this ivy-clad Rome hotel is 500 meters from the Pantheon, and less than 2 kilometers from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.
Cons: No working A/C advertise they do loud street noise with window open . Never took a hot shower in the morning as they could not keep up with the demand even though this is a very small hotel. Every inch of this hotel is dirty and grimey peeling paint ,mold ,and smelly. Ants and small bugs always present in every room ecspecially lobby. We rented 4 rooms for 9 days and one room was worse than the next. Trust me if this was advertised as a 2 star hotel when you show up your going to be very dissapointed and they have the nerve to claim its 4 stars . I ussually dont write reviews i just rate with short message but all while i stayed here i was wishing i seen a review to steer me away from this dump .so i hope this helps someone
Pros: excellent location, rooms are small but they have everything,
bathrooms are beautiful, once again they have everything, even
tv in bathroom, clean, very comfortable, delicious breakfast with
many choices, staff friendly, good value for money, can't say
enough good thinigs
Pros: The service was amazing! The rooms were clean an comfortable. Great location!
Originally a 19th-Century residence, this hotel is in a quiet side street behind Rome's Opera House, 1640 feet (500 meters) from Termini Station, 1 mile (1.5 km) from the Colosseum, and 1.2 miles (less than 2 km) from the Pantheon, and 0.6 miles (1 km) the Spanish Steps.
Cons: Busloads of tourists staying at Hotel. Full breakfast choices/quality slim for the price.
Pros: Great location near Vatican. Quiet. Clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Balcony rooms were nice feature over most other hotels. Restaurant food and service was very good. Would definitely stay here again..
This hotel draws business travelers and families to its doors, 2 blocks from Rome's Vatican City, Saint Peter's Basilica and Square; Vatican Museum is a half-mile away, as is Castle San Angelo.
Pros: We chose Parco die Principi primarily for the location, which is right next to Borghese Park and close to some other principal sights in Rome (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc., which were by the way mobbed, even in October.) The hotel is beautiful, the rooms very luxurious. We did not use any of the facilities.
Cons: For such a high-end hotel, we thought breakfast was very sparse, poor selections, nothing you wouldn't see at a hotel half the price. We were also not happy with the concierge service; they could not offer any advice on tours other than a single company, and were no help at all in arranging transportation to Civitavecchia, which I finally arranged on my own.

A luxurious retreat

Pros: Location, breakfast, junior suite with soaking tub.
Cons: Leaving it!
Pros: It's very convenient to the Vatican- just a short walk to the Vatican museum. Metro is close by. Staff were always very helpful. Very nice free breakfast.
Cons: The only glitch was with our pickup from the airport. Although requested a couple of days before we were to arrive, we didn't get any information until literally a week later, 3 days after we left Rome! We took a taxi so it wasn't really a problem.
Pros: I was traveling in Europe with my 11 year old. This hotel meet all of my need, and also my daughter's. The internet Connection was great. Which she loved. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the Metro, and Vatican City. The breakfast provided was also good.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
Pros: Room very comfortable and spacious (manager kindly moved me out of my original room which was rather small)Breakfast Location -- close to Ciprio Metro stationFast wifiFree minibar (though I did pay a bit extra for the 'Superior' room)
Cons: Only one power point by the desk and none close to the bedNoisy air-conditioning unitOn leaving, the staff didn't inform me that there was a strike on the Metro
Pros: Breakfast buffet was good, excellent location to Vatican and Vatican Museum and the hotel staff was always helpful.
Cons: Room was small but adequate for space that was needed.
Pros: LOCATION=FABULOUS! Staff=Fluent in English and all were super helpful! Room very clean and great amenities despite being on the small size. BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS!
Cons: Room was smaller than I expected based on the website photos.
Overall we like this hotel. If we come back to Rome, we'll pick this hotel again, however, will ask for room that has no connecting room.
Pros: It's proximity to Vatican and Termini
Cons: The room assigned to us has connecting room and we could hear the occupants from said room talking, child crying, loud tv.

The Hotel Majestic is centrally located and one can easily walk to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon etc. We even walked to the Colleseum. The shopping on Via Veneto is very high end. We felt very safe. The Hotel is beautifully decorated in neoclassical design. The lobby and common area furnishings are exquisite antiques. We stayed in an upper level room so traffic noise was not a problem. The linens are very nice and are ironed when changed. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. It is a truly wonderful hotel and we will stay there when returning to Rome.
Pros: The Hotel was fabulous in every way! The staff was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. There was always someone who spoke English. We would definitely stay here again.

Located right on the famous Via Veneto, the hotel boasts a central location and a stunning terrace with bar and restaurant. The rooms feature innovative style and classic elegance, and are equipped with flat-screen TV and WIFI.
Pros: It's a 5 star hotel in a great location. The staff were amazing. We loved it!
Pros: Great staff and rooms
Cons: I got food poisoning from the buffet
Pros: large open area in lobby and helpfulness of the staff
Stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, met our expectations and would defintely come back. Very nice hotel with great service and very good location.
Pros: Beautiful room, beautiful hotel, great service.
Cons: Hotel was payed in full prior checking in but front desk asked for a credit card and placed pending charges of room each night on to credit card. The pending charges were never charged but it still temporarily lowered my available credit amount on card.

Pros: The atmosphere was great , trendy hallways and cool rooms.
Cons: Room was too hot
Cons: The room had a persistent mold/mildew smell that we could not get away from. The bathroom door would not stay open and was very heavy. Staff was made aware and they said they were booked for the night, but we could switch in the morning. We never heard back.
Pros: Loved the rooms, the size, and the shower! So many rooms have terrible showers or shower pressure, this hotel was great in that regard
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the hotel and restaurant.
Cons: There was a strong oder of disinfectant throughout the hotel. You could feel the springs in the mattress.
Located in Prati, this hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Piazza del Popolo and Castel Sant'Angelo. St. Peter's Basilica and Piazza Navona are also within 1 mi (2 km).
Pros: Location was great. Just a short distance to some of the major attractions and eating.
Cons: The staff could have been better. Not as friendly or helpful as I would have hoped for but it didn't change our overall good time in Rome.
Pros: Great location, close to Saint Peters and a quiet location without street noise.I liked the American style breakfast that was included in the room price.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard
Pros: Staff was particularly friendly. They made certain I was well informed if I needed more clarification on directions within Rome, as well as other items. Customer service was fantastic. Modern looking hotel with ample amenities.
Cons: The air conditioner made quite a bit of noise on my final day here and eventually stopped blowing cold air altogether. Since it was my last day at the hotel, I figure I'd not pay much attention to it and go out sight seeing. Still made for an uncomfortable evening however.
Pros: The hotel is of a modern style in a very good location and the room was quite spacious and well decorated. The breakfast was great and the staff very professional and helpful. I could not find anything negative about this hotel and I would strongly recommend it. It a an excellent value for the money.
Pros: This is a beautifully updated hotel just blocks from the metro (Lepanto), a seven minute walk to the Vatican. One metro stop puts you at the top of the Corso, two stops at th Spanish stepds and three at the Trevi Fountain. The Spaniosh steps stop (Spagna) is in close proximity to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, numerous shops and some of the best gelato around. The hotel staff are accommodating and personal. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and offer almost any amenity. I have stayed here five times (after staying at some rather expensive hotels in Rome which were very disappointing.
Cons: That it took me so long to find this gem of a hotel.
Pros: Fourth time we stayed there. Close to metro, just a short walk from Vatican, friendly staff, great rooms and bathrooms, totally up-to-date features all combine to make this the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Rome. We will continue to return here.
Cons: That it took so long to find a hotel this nice in Rome.
Pros: People relatively at your service
Cons: Rooms not enough correct for this quality expected and price associated
Pros: location and 'no fuss' check in - breakfast fine and available over a long period.
Cons: no tea / coffee making facilities in room - limited televsion channels in English - additional charge to watch films and internet. Reality not as colourful as web photos would suggest.
Pros: Location of the hotel is great, especially if using the shuttle express (only 8 Euros) from Fiumicino airport, the first shuttle stop is roughly 100 meters from the hotel which is a lot better than traveling to the Termini station. Also getting into the center of Rome is a 10 minute walk or 5 minute walk to Vatican City from the hotel. Price is moderate if ordering one of the deals offered and services within the hotel are good, the terrace is a nice place to relax and have a drink after long walks through Rome. Staff at the front desk was helpful.
Pros: cleanliness was as i liked it to be. location was reasonable for the sightseeing i went. breakfast was very good, staff did a good job and were very cooperative and helpfull.
Cons: No free internet' even in the lobby (in 4 stars hotel!!)
Pros: The hotel was just perfect as for me: quiet, clean. Very helpful personnel. Breakfast was really good. I liked the area a lot: it just 15 min walking to Vaticano and 20 min to Piazza Navona. Next time I will stay in Visconti Palace Hotel with great pleasure.

Pros: People working here are awesome. The love that they put in arranging your room when you come back. I left big cash money by mistake. Every single penny was there in an envelope! Great.
Pros: The staff was very efficient and friendly; outside the city center but it was nice to be away from the crowds; great little shops around; breakfast which was included was great and the even provided a to go breakfast when we left at 4:00 am
Pros: great room,great breakfast,no complaints
The Hotel Fiume is located on Piazza Fiume and boasts a terrace with views over the city.
Pros: The staff...they were incredible. Excellent customer service. The location was great as well. The complementary breakfast was perfect.
Pros: Very convenient location near Termini Train station. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was nice (eggs, pastries, breads, meat and cheeses, cereals, fruit, etc.) as was the rooftop terrace.
Cons: The bed could have been more comfortable.
Pros: Location. The friendly staff who was very helpful. Extraordinary breakfast.
Cons: The room looks a little old..but it is Rome. The bathtub is so narrow that it made me think it was conceived for ballet dancers. I couldn't stand and I don't have big feet. (10)
Very good for the price. Extremely convenient. Staff was pretty helpful.
Pros: Very convenient location near atermini
Cons: No air conditioning. Even in December the hotel could get very hot.
Built in the 1930s, the original façade mirrors the neoclassical furnishings in this Rome hotel, 200 metres from Termini Station and 400 metres from the shops of Via Nazionale.
Pros: The staff were incredibly lovely and helpful.
The location was terrific in relation to many sights. Can walk to Spanish Steps & many others.
Hotel is clean, beautiful & basically comfortable.
Cons: I visited in December and with the heat turned up to high I wasn't able to get the room warm enough. That is my only complaint.
Pros: Free room service coffee.
Very friendly and helpful staff

Free perks include WiFi, wired Internet, and hot/cold buffet breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and noon. Pros: The cleanliness was not top priority they only made beds they did not clear cups for days or replace toilet paper. The Defoe at night reminds me of the shining as well. The breakfast set up was ok but when ordering room service as the walk is so far the staff is rude
Cons: See above
Pros: Room was very nice for price. Room was very clean and housekeeping staff friendly.
Cons: Front desk was not helpful and very abrupt.
Pros: An old hotel that has echoes of "The Grand Budapest Hotel", a faded palace where Verdi once stayed. Steps from Termini station and the A Metro at Republicà, it is an excellent jumping off point for your Roman stay. The staff is extremely friendly.
Cons: The included breakfast is forgettable, though the garden in which it is served is not. Skip it for a cappuccino and corneto at one of Rome's countless Caffè.
Pros: The hotel is a great old building but is in dire need of updates.
Cons: The ventilation is bad. The AC was barely functional.
Pros: The location was excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious. The people at the reception desk were always helpful. The (included) breakfast was completely amazing. We especially loved going to the garden room restaurant to have a beer in the late afternoon to cool off and rest a bit (they also brought a bowl of peanuts, a bowl of potato chips, and once, a bowl of mixed snacks to go with).
Cons: One night we were too tired to find a local restaurant so we ate in their restaurant. The food was good, but pricier and not as marvelous as the local restaurants off site. But that's in comparison to the fabulous food all over Italy, so its a really high bar.
Central Rome hotel housed in a late 19th-century building retaining much Imperial grandeur, 500 metres from Quirinale Palace and one kilometre from the Colosseum.
Pros: We loved the breakfast and the location is perfect. Close to metro and bus lines and walking distance from the coliseum. We used the pocket companion for google maps and browsing so it saved us on our data plan
Cons: Rooms were small
Pros: There hospitality
Cons: They all have service with smile
Pros: The room was great. We stayed one night only to get back home and fly out of Rome. We were 10 minutes from Ancient Rome and the colosseum. We discovered we were three blocks away from the church of the holy steps. If you are Catholic you must visit the church and climb the steps Jesus did on your knees. The steps were from pontiff pilot palace in Israel and brought from Israel by St Helen. The staff was great and breakfast was excellent.
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff we exceptionally friendly especially Antonio. Best hotel visit I have had in a while. Location was perfect as well.
