Pros:The car worked and was cheap.Cons:Drop off and pick up was incredibly slow, the shuttle runs like once an hour and the staff is in no hurry either. Literally took me 90 min to pick up and drop off, and there were no lines to wait in. If it weren't for the incredibly cheap rates, there's no way this place would be in business. The service was really lacking, the rental office looks like an old shed, and the staff is dishonest, trying to charge you for "damage" to the vehicle that clearly was there when you picked up the car. Definitely not worth the hassle to save a few bucks.Reviewed 10 Oct 2019

Pros:Very helpful and friendly staff in both Edinburgh and GlasgowCons:Did not fully understand the daily limit on mileage allowance, which resulted in a small surcharge at the end - did not impact on my overall positive experienceReviewed 9 May 2019

Hidden chargesCons:This is a bait and switch operation that hits you with a laundry list of hidden charges once you arrive. My final price was twice the quoted price. I could have rented in airport from a top shelf company for the same price in the end. This is a scam. Run awayReviewed 6 Nov 2018

We did not get the type of car we orderedPros:Not muchCons:The location--(non)ease of getting to rental site; the attitude of the clerk; the unavailability of the type vehicle we thought we had ordered; the flat tire on the car when it was brought to us, the gigantic extra cost to get another vehicle; the non-working GPS we paid dearly for, the cavalier treatment we got when we asked for adjustment for the GPS, etc, etc. The only grace, if you can call it that, is that we were not the only disgruntled customers in line when we returned the car.Reviewed 18 Oct 2018

All around badPros:I couldn't find the office or where to pick up the car. The address given in the confirmation led me to a place where we were told easirent was no longer located. When I tried to call multiple times, nobody answered the phone. I finally just gave up and rented from another servicer/company.Cons:The whole experience.Reviewed 14 Oct 2018

Very shady operationPros:The car was fine.Cons:The shuttle was hard to find. A location was provided, but no directions. The office was located in a dirt lot in an industrial zone. They attempted to sell me very expensive insurance. When I asked for a receipt after dropping off the car, they told me to take a picture.Reviewed 5 Oct 2018

Nothing but a scam artist ripping off customersPros:Basically nothing to like about these guys if I could give less then one stars I would. Kayak should drop these guys as a rental agent.Cons:Pushy salesman that lie to you claiming that U.K. Laws changed and I am required to prove I have insurance coverage otherwise I have to pay for full coverage. A call to budget and avis after the fact proved that no law changed and they were sorry that that happened to us. And even when you say you want to return the car early they will not give you a refund on "any unused tire" as they said is in the terms and conditions which was never told to us on pick up. The pick up for both Scotland airports Edinburgh and Glasgow are off site a few miles away from the airport so you are in a the middle of a rundown lot and no way to go. They don't explain nor show you the full terms and conditions yet they just copy and paste your signature onto it. And when you call and talk to the customer service they hang up on you and say that all the managers have gone on a long weekend when there is not long weekend holiday that anyone knows about. My £91 booking I made ended up being £337. All because we had to but couldn't prove our credit cards or auto insurance policy had rental car insurance.Reviewed 12 Sep 2018

This place is miss leadingPros:There was not one positive I can say about this placeCons:This place is listed as an EDI airport rental, it is not. After taking the shuttle to the rental center we were told that it’s not actually at the airport. I looked up the order and found a number to request a shuttle, I called 4 times, no one ever answered. I called an Uber, and during the 15-20 minute drive to their site. He told us to, “be cautious, these lads are very misleading.” Their rental center is a trailer in what looks like a junkyard. The inside of the building was filthy. My wife didn’t want to sit down because, the what looked like bed sheets they covered the couches were covered in old food. After waiting for 45 minutes to speak to the only representative working, they told me the type of car I requested was no longer available. He told me I needed to rent their Mercedes cause it’s all they had left. It was also going to be extra since it was an AMG. After 23 hours of traveling, I didn’t feel like arguing and took the car. We then got to coverage. We weren’t allowed to take the car off the lot without putting a £1500 deposit on our card or else take full coverage. Again, I was too tired to argue so I just took the coverage. From there, now in the dark, we got our car a hour and twenty minutes after arriving and got on the road. When we arrived at our destination the dome lights came on and I could see that this car had not been cleaned in quite a while, I then went to get the luggage out of the truck of the car and realized their were no AMG badges on the car. I went back in the car and noticed the AMG floor mats, confused I then opened the hood and looked at the engine block to find, again, there were no AMG badges. These are on ALL AMG’s. They put floor mats in the car and charged me more, assuming the driver wouldn’t notice. All in all, I book a $200 car and left paying $675. This place was unbelievable! Please remove them from your service so this doesn’t happen to another customer. Thank you, AdamReviewed 12 Aug 2018

Scamsters with a rents at facadePros:Bought in because it was cheap. I guess it was in all regards except price. On the plus side, we got a relatively new car with decent features. But the service was abysmal, and everything constructed to ding you with overcharges. I would consider walking before using them again.Cons:Know when your first impression is that something is hinky? With Easirent, trust your instincts and flee. A business based on fraudulent charges and services wrapped in a car rental facade. Don’t trust them re: insurance, car condition, or even refueling policy. They invented damages on return and refused me any paperwork when I would not sign an acknowledgment of responsibility. I honestly suspect that the vandalized the car while “inspecting” it on return. They trumped up a $250 damage charge that remains in dispute.Reviewed 7 Jun 2018
