For a taste of Europe in the heart of the Big D, look no further than one of the fancy hotels in Dallas, Hotel Crescent Court. The hotel, exudes European elegance and sophistication and occupies a beautifully landscaped setting with courtyards, fountains, and a serene pool area, while its architecture blends classical elements with a contemporary touch.

Even though the hotel has been restored with modern touches, its French Beaux-Arts architecture and opulent interiors evoke a sense of grandeur, while beautifully appointed rooms and impeccable service ensure a memorable stay.
Located in the heart of downtown, it is within walking distance of the Dallas World Aquarium and the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. The Adolphus offers several dining options, including the famous French Room. Do not miss the luxurious afternoon tea service. The cherry-citrus scones are to die for.
A fun fact: The Adolphus is rumored to have hosted famous guests like Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, the Rolling Stones, and several presidents. Standing at 22 stories, it was also the state’s tallest building for more than a decade after its construction.

Set in a stunning mansion built nearly a century ago, one of the most luxury hotels in Dallas, embodies timeless elegance and Southern hospitality. Surrounded by lush gardens in the upscale Turtle Creek neighborhood, the Mansion’s Spanish Colonial Revival architecture showcases its rich history, making a stay here an experience I definitely recommend.
The hotel’s 142 rooms and suites are elegant and peaceful, feeling more like a private cottage or apartment than a hotel. Of course, with a pool, an upscale spa, and some of the city’s best dining, you will find reasons for a hotel tour.
The Mansion’s long-standing eponymous restaurant serves gourmet cuisine with a Texas twist (and is famed for its delicious tortilla soup), while the hotel’s convenient location allows easy access to city attractions like the Katy Trail and the Dallas Museum of Art.

A true icon of mid-century modern architecture, The Statler Dallas blends vintage charm with contemporary amenities. Initially opened in 1956 at The Statler Hilton – an architectural wonder at the time – the hotel has since been meticulously restored to its former glory and offers a variety of room types, including spacious suites with panoramic city views.
While many of Dallas’s top hotels are closer to the Uptown neighborhood, The Statler is downtown, something that I find very convenient as it is close to both the Dallas World Aquarium and the historic Deep Ellum neighborhood, among other attractions.

Originally built in 1923, The Stoneleigh, now under the upscale Le Méridien brand, showcases Art Deco architecture and retains its iconic exterior charm.
In the heart of Uptown, this hotel, fresh off a multi-million-dollar renovation, captures, in my opinion, the essence of Dallas’ rich heritage through its stylish rooms, particularly the penthouses, and upscale dining that even locals love – head to the popular Perle on Maple, which blends French bistro cuisines with Texas touches. (Don’t miss half-price bottles of wine on Wednesday nights.)
The courtyard pool area hosts parties and special events throughout the summer, and the convenient location – walking distance to much of Uptown’s gems – makes this Art Deco stunner the perfect blend of history, luxury, and a prime location.

Don’t let the mega-hotel status here scare you, though; service is impeccable, and guests can enjoy amenities like the hotel’s rooftop infinity pool, fitness center, and full-service Mokara Salon & Spa. The Omni Dallas Hotel is also conveniently connected to the Dallas Convention Center and is close to popular attractions like the Reunion Tower and the Dallas World Aquarium.
One highlight of this unique hotel is the trademark LED light show that illuminates the exterior of the building in vibrant colors during the evenings.

Hotel ZaZa Dallas offers a unique and eclectic experience in Dallas’s vibrant Uptown neighborhood. In addition to being smaller than many competitors, ZaZa is known for its artistic and bohemian-inspired design.
What I love is the fact that each room is individually decorated with bold colors and avant-garde furnishings, creating a truly distinctive atmosphere that feels more like you’re staying in your hip, quirky auntie’s house, as opposed to a hotel. As a bonus, ZaZa is home to a trendy pool and all-day hotspot, Dragonfly, known for its fusion cuisine and vibrant ambiance.
If you choose to stay by the pool, make sure you choose Cabana Bar on the 7th floor and enjoy not only the view of Downtown Austin and Republic Square Park, but also one of the signature cocktails. I cannot leave without enjoying a Zaza Rita! (If you can handle it, ask for it spicy).
