Air conditioning in the room was not working.
The room was spacious and check-in was a simple process. When we requested two blankets to the room, only one blanket was brought to us. We were charged for a local call from the room. There were multiple guests smoking marijuana in the hotel causing the hallways to be smoke filled, and these guests belonged to the fraternity/sorority formal being hosted by the hotel. The breakfast was disappointing in that the variety of choices was lacking. I've seen better continental breakfasts at Holiday Inn.
Excellent steaks in the restaurant
Virtually nothing. The amenities you expect will not be found in this hotel. Needs remodeled and updated, the service was horrible, as was the room. Not a place we will ever go back to. I would have rather stayed at motel 6!
Agood hotel, as should any Crowne Plaza. Good value for money due to large room, nice breakfast, free parking and internet. Not very central in Dallas, but not an issue if you have a car.
A nice hotel in general, lovely staff, nice breakfast, fast and free internet, large room. Parking also free and plenty.
Great employees , very nice
Good customer service. Pretty clean. Ice maker was broken. Heat and air was terrible.
Room was great and had a comfortable be with a good view No access to movie channels
Older hotel, beds were fairly comfortable! Could not control heat/air in the room. Hotel is in desperate need of updating!
The staff is nice. It is an advantage to stay there if you are going to fly to/from Love Field Airport and NOT DFW Airport and if you want to visit Dallas downtown. I found out there the hotel was way too far from the DFW Airport and had to spend a lot on taxi due to that.
Room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. Room came with an added surprise of a Fridge and Microwave that wasn't listed. Shower could have been better maintained, odd location of bathroom light switch. Wifi was hard to connect to and stay connected, I eventually gave up on it.
Good continental breakfast in the AM. Staff was friendly. Everything else was just OK! Stains on carpet, bad odor in the elevator and room didn't smell that great either.
Very nice location, 15min away from downtown only. Staff very friendly and organized. The only downside is that the tv is screwed down to the furniture too low in relation to the bed. So, when you lay down is quite uncomfortable to watch tv.
Price Needs some updating
Everything. Disgusting Smells non smoking reeked of cigarette smoked filthy bedspreads.
I had a long layover between DC to SF and had to spend one night in Dalas. So, I didn't want to spend too much. All I want was a clean, comfortable and close to airport place. It also has free airport shuttle, breakfast and Wiki which is good. This place is ideal to short term stay and price is worth. I expected to have a complementary bottle of water in my room. Refrigerator was empty ! Room appliances were old ( Coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator, . . . ) but functional.
It was close to Love Field Airport. The Hairdryer did not work. Interior hallway had an old musty smell, the toilet handle was broken and would not stop running, the tub wouldn't drain while showering.
The Ramada Love Field is very convenient to I-35 and was the most affordable option for the date I needed. The breakfast was fine - typical hotel continental breakfast. This hotel shows it's age. It smells very musty and I was concerned with cleanliness due to the smells we encountered in the hotel. I would rate this hotel as more of a 2-star hotel than a 3-star.
The hotel has dirty and smelled horrible, definitely not what i had expected
Breakfast was a zoo
My husband and I stayed 1 night. There is renovations going on but didn't notice any noises or contractors. Just some caution comes st the entrance. The room was very nice and clean. room service was good and the food was tasty. Friendly staff for the most part. Bed was a nice comfy king size. We weren't sure if it was a remodeled room or not, it was overall a nice stay. The toilet was a annoying, it took 6 flushes to flush tissue from blowing my nose. Must have been a low flow toilet. The staff were nice except they were prejudice against me getting the reservation through a 3rd party. They made several comments about it when we checked in and when we were checking out.
Nothing Hotel was dirty. the room smelled terrible, woke up with a terrible headache because of the cleaning smell which was probably so heavy to cover up the animal smell in the room.
The staff was super friendly. Missing hairdryer. Floor wet in front of air conditioner. Air conditioner ran loud.
Bathtub was extremely slippery for older people to use without the fear of falling.
Location to Love field No coffee cups in the room. Hall looked dirty.
The place itself is in a good location near Love Field, which was exactly what we needed for an evening. Breakfast was good and the majority of the staff were friendly. I did not like the fact that the bedding was filthy. I did not notice until we had to use a sheet for the pull out bed because none were provided to us at check-in and we assumed it would be in our room. I talked to staff about not changing the sheets, which is the most important item to clean in a hotel room. They offered to switch rooms but it was 1AM, we were settled, and one of our other friends had passed out on the bed. We settled for a change of sheet but I felt that much more could have been done. To pay $100 for an evening and not have clean sheets in a room is preposterous. The fact that bed bugs exist and the potential for other diseases can occur is what was frightening and disappointing that a brand such as Carlson is allowing to occur. It would not be fair to slam this hotel on all aspects but when it comes to cleanliness, hotels must be on top of their game in that category no matter what other amenities exist.
The room was small with very few amenities. The tub would fill with water while showering. This was an issue that was reported to the front desk. Their response was "we will let someone know". Therefore my family had to shower in ankle deep water each time we showered. Also, the towel bar over the sink was not attached well and kept falling off.
room was comfortable and quiet. Evening shower was luke-warm, morning was hot.
The room was a nice size with a king sized bed, love seat, desk, and little bar area with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee area. This was nice as one could feel more at "home" even though he/she was in a hotel. The room also had a balcony which was big enough for two people to sit comfortably while enjoying the tree lined garden/walkway below. All in all, a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. There was nothing that I didn't like. The staff was friendly and got us in to a room as soon as possible. The location was also easily accessible to major freeways and highways so we could always get to our destinations in a timely manner.
The assortment of furniture was an added bonus with the various positions of sitting and needing and so forth. And just the right privacy along with the availability of the sliding curtains and large glass door that offered a view from other guests if desired. Well done. The wife and I and our discrete companions will gladly use your rooms again. The wife left very satisfied. One of our visitors didn't perform as expected but it was no fault of the hotel
Comfortable beds and nice small work station. I enjoyed the comfortable living area. Prefer a tub option over just shower
This hotel was perfect for an affordable girls weekend getaway to Dallas. The staff was accommodating, the room spacious, and the location near the action.
Cleanliness and comfort, Price of Breakfast
Somewhat easy access from major highways. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Decent breakfast. No frills. The room I was initially given didn't have a working lock and wouldn't even close all the way. The staff was quick to move me and apologize for that, but someone without OCD may not have noticed before it was too late.
Location When I arrived the room I booked was not available. They told me they had another room available, but it was twice the rate. Desk clerk told me That they couldn't accomodate me, even though it was a mistake on their part.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was as you'd expect at a Comfort Inn. They didn't have a plunger available until the next day. :-( They immediately offered to give us a new room, which I thought was a great gesture. We thanked them and declined. As promised, the clog was fixed when they said it would be.
The confortable and clean bed, pillow and and linen. A great breakfast. nihil
Nothing. From check-in to check-out it was terrible. The room I reserved and my card was charged for wasn't even available. I asked for another room and they said they had nothing else available. I then tried to cancel but was told they would charge me whether I stayed or not. Once the room became available it hadn't been cleaned yet. So I had to wait another 30 minutes or so for maides to "clean" it. The non-smoking king suite smelled awful. (Mixture of smoke and something to cover the smoke smell.) rude front desk ladies who don't seem to care about their job or well being of the customers. List goes on and on.
The staff was great and very accommodating. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful when our reservations were messed up. She got the issue taken care of and seemed very happy to help. The rooms were very clean. We were very happy with our experience. The beds were not very comfortable. This was the only complaint my family had. We booked two rooms and the complaints on the beds were in both rooms.
The room was nice Gift shop hours
The pool looked really cool even though it was too cold to enjoy BEDS! The main thing you need at a room is a good night sleep. My floor at home is about the same as those beds.
The staff was very nice. The rooms were decent and clean. The hallways have low ceilings and smell like bad carpet deodorant trying to mask mold and tobacco and other nasty stuff. The elevator on the sixth floors does not stop at the right height and twice I tripped stepping into it. The breakfast buffet was on the low end of mediocre.
Good customer service Not so clean hallways
Everything else was amazing. I don't understand why the hotel suddenly changed its name from Night Hotel Dallas to Wyndham Garden Hotel. There was so much work put into the complete renovation last year (which fit perfectly with the name 'Night Hotel Dallas'), and so it makes no sense to my why now after everything is beautifully redesigned that the name would change to 'Wyndham Garden Inn'. Not only does the name not fit the overall appearance, but the colors green and white (the logo and the sign of the Wyndham Garden) look outrageously out of place with the very dark color scheme of the Night Hotels. There are even old English "N's" printed on the carpet in the rooms and in the main lobby.
Room service was 30 min later than stated and food was made differently than stated on menu.
Bar & Lounge Area. Dirty sheets, broken toilet, roaches, dirty floors!!
The laundry facilities My room was it cleaned and I stopped a housekeeper to ask her to clean the room she couldn't speak English so I had to show her everything I wanted done.
Staff were friendly and attentive Rooms were updated but bathroom not as clean as it should be. Carpet in hallways of hotel on 1st floor should be replaced or cleaned often, ceiling tiles need to be cleaned or replaced in hallway
Great location for what we needed The woman at the desk was helpful and pleasant. We only saw her on the day we came in. The rest of the staff on the desk were not very friendly .
Décor was a little outdated and tacky we had a good laugh about it though

I was VERY over-impressed with this hotel! The rooms were excellent. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. Heat worked great! 2 tvs.

The customer service was phenomenal and the room was beautiful. None
Nice clean and comfortable room. Traffic noise but it's convenient to the highway so it didn't bother us

Room was clean and updated. The outside of building and area around it could use some updating and cleanup. Had moderate traffic noise in room.

Just About Everything Was Great... (P.M. staffers not all that sure about surroundings inorder to better assist someone like myself that isn't from the area)... (would gladly like to stay again) #1... T.V. In Bedroom Is Kind Of Small For The Size Of The Room...#2... Staffers Knowing The Surroundings Of The Hotel...
Large room, free breakfast Assigned room with broken TV; have to get ice at front desk; both TVs operate on the same frequency, so when you change the channel on one, the other comes on.
Great bed. Gated parking. Located in a run-down neighborhood.
The fireplace and suite style room and free hot breakfast The position on the feeder road of the Stemmen Freeway you could only enter the hotel of the north bound service road
had to change the room becuase the first assigned room had tv on and beds were not straighten up. a staff suspected the cleaning staff must have left the tv on.
We were in town for a Dr.'s appt. We really found the motel to be very nice. The room was clean and the bed heavenly. The breakfast the next morning was great and helped get the day off to a good start. I would recomend this hotel to anyone.
This Holiday Inn Express in Dallas was great. the location is just off the Interstate and Hwy 12 on the other side of the bridge is loaded with many different restaurants. The hotel staff was very accomodating and helpful. Our room was clean and the breakfast was good. they have an automated 'pancake machine' that is something else. Fun to watch and within 45 seconds you have two hot pancakes! The only negative side was that the bed was a bit old and the matress needs to be replaced, but being there only one night it was livable.
great breakfast and beautiful rooms. plenty of room and great price. Clos to everything i needed to get to.
It is a good hotel. Staff are nice. Rooms are big and clean. I do not have comments on breakfast because I missed it.
I made the reservation at the last minute and the price was substantially less than other hotels in the area. The desk clerk was very friendly and he was knowledgable when we needed recommendations for restaurants.
This hotel was nice enough. Seemed well kept the staff was nice enough and you never seemed like a bother to them. The breakfast was hot and there where a variety of things...Loved the cinnamon rolls! The waffle house is practically in the same parking lot! There are many other restaurants and a movie theater near by which you can drive or take the bus to (bus runs on the same street or across from the waffle house). I wouldn't suggest walking as you'd have to cross the highway and a busy street. There where some small black bugs in my bathroom. Didn't see them all the time but nevertheless. Unfortunately the hotel is adjacent to a gentlemens club which I could see out of my window but the area was still quiet.
This hotel is a cross the street from a 'men's club'. Not a family place to stay. The bacon at breakfast was burnt and the biscuits were hard as a rock. The toilet got stopped up (that has never happened at a hotel before). And maintainence never showed up. We checked out.
I have stayed here twice and the place is clean and well run. I like that on my second stay they have a little pancake machine now as part of the breakfast. The breakfast has a lot of choices including cereral and some hot items such as egg and bacon (or sausage). There are also some juice and milk selections. The king size bed in my room was not that comfortable. I am comparing to a previous stay at Homewood Suites which was much better. Thats the only complaint I had here. The room itself was well layed out. The bathroom does not feel cramped, and I really like the shower (especially the shower head which spreads out the water nicely and is easy to move). Internet seems to work well here and is easy to get started. Just load up the browser and the first page will require you to accept the terms and conditions then it just works. The parking area encircles the hotel. At night they block off all but one of the entrances to force traffic to flow past the front desk area. Seems like...
I have stayed in several Holiday Inn's but this one was one of the best. I will definitely stay there again. We had a 3 day convention in Dallas and even the drive was not bad, I was not late for anything. The staff was polite and helpful as for getting me where needed to be great directions. And the hotel was clean and the breakfast was always hot and the coffee was wonderful.
Clean and comfortable. Would stay there again. Good location.
my stay at dallas was excellent and i enjoyed it a lot
The staff and service was excellent
The staff was awesome to include the desk, cleaning crews, kitchen and bar staff. The location was terrible. The area offered no culture or tourist activities or sites and too many strip joints. Regarding breakfast, eggs to order would be nice. The shuttle van needs a detailed cleaning. It was unfortunate that the power outage resulted in our rooms being unaccessible for five hours. A back up generator would be ideal.
Internet wouldn't work even after calling them about it everyday. Only the clerks spoke english, maids didn't lean the room, make the beds, didn't give us new towels!
The price is good.
Everything was good. The beds are comfortable. Would stay again.
We were given a smoking room and were not immediately switched to non-smoking when we complained. After insisting that we would leave, we were given a non-smoking room. The elevators reeked of smoke.
The beds were amazing!! We stayed during the ou vs. Texas football game so the location was perfect for hanging out before and after the game. The walls were pretty thin and you could hear everything in the hallway and in the next rooms. Noise was to be expected on a weekend like this but it did keep me awake.
Nice hotel; well run; 12:00 checkout time; good Internet
No hot water, vending machine gave wrong product- front desk wouldn't refund, room was dirty, the air freshener(?) they sprayed everywhere was so over powering that it choked you!
Breakfast Dated dark
Great value for its price
The cleaning staff was very nice. The front desk staff was rude and the rooms smelled of mildew. I had to switch rooms because of the smell and the new room's toilet wouldn't stop filling. It was not a great experience.
Close to airport Musty smell got into all my clothes, carpet not attached to floor, holes in walls, burn holes in covers, dirty, signs dirty for change towels or not
Staff was friendly and nice. Shuttle drivers left hotel promptly when needed. Location is not ideal. By shuttle it takes ten to fifteen minutes to get to the hotel. Doubletree by Hilton is right by the entrance to airport but probably costs more. The coffee at breakfast was bad.
We love this place.
Hotel rooms were very clean. Good location near downtown and access to what we needed. Front desk staff was lacking in rapport and frequently not at the front desk. Hotel shuttle ran only at limited times.
The staff was very helpful, the appliances and furniture in the room and hallways were modern in style and new, the free shuttle to Dallas Love Field airport was a plus.
Cleanliness, courteous and knowledgeable staff, a great location for our activities. Morning noises of the nearby interstate and jets Landing at Dallas International Airport. Who's better soundproof the windows.
It was ok. Nothing I can say I liked best. It was outdated and seemed to be a little scary neighborhood
Breakfast & friendliness of staff. The room was sided up against the a machine room which was very loud. Hummed all night & day.
Despite all of the construction going on in the area and the fact that the hotel was full of children participating in a sports tournament our room being two doors down from the lobby, the quietness of the hotel was anazibg! There was some difficulty with communication with staff who didn't speak/comprehend very good english. Other than that. It was a wonderful stay and would do so again.
The room that I was in was just above the front desk.I was traveling alone and this made me feel safer. The staff when checking in and out was very helpful and courteous.
The room was very clean and staff was eager to please and very friendly.
It was convenient to where we wanted to stop. Nope, I liked it just fine.
Clean, finishing renovations or brand new, great beds .

I did not like the fact that in one night I had to kill to cockroach's. Defiantly not a clean hotel
Room size was excellent. Comfort of furnishings and beds better than any other hotels on this vacation. Clean as can be. Room has everything possible to make the stay comfortable. They even have complimentary guest laundry, outdoor grill and nice clean pool. Could not find anything to complain about - period.
Nothing, absolutely nothing When we arrived several hookers were hanging out (literally) in the parking lot with their pimps. Toilet ran every 5 minutes all night long. Absolutely shocked that wyndham would have their name on this place.
Customer service great It felt dirty
We stayed at one of the townhouses. The room stunk. We had to go buy an air fresher for the place. We woke up to flying cockroaches about the size of my thumb in our room and bathroom!!!! I talked to the staffs there and they seemed surprised about it. But later I read in other reviews that some other guests experienced it. Had to get one of their staff to kill it. The room, bathroom, and kitchen was old. Front desk services wasn't not good.
The staff, location and price were all very positive for us as we were traveling to NYC early the following morning. The manager recommended an area for dinner and everything was very positive as I indicated earlier. We would definitely stay there again.
Room was spacious, accommodations were made to change rooms so i could watch my vehicle. Many people out wondering at night, felt unsafe. Immediately saw a woman on drugs, or alcohol coming out of a room getting into a vehicle of a man circling the parking lot. 2:45am hotel guests loud, yelling. Do not bring family with you to this hotel.
Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Great location for getting to Love Field to get out on a flight the next morning. Breakfast was good. Carpet is frayed and worn and needs to be replaced. Stains on bathroom counter - parts of this hotel are really showing their age. Several lights did not work; not sure if they were burned out or just flat didn't work.
WiFi didn't work. Don't desk couldn't care less.
Close to Dallas Love. Had airport shuttle to Dallas Love, but not DFW airport. Price was good. Fridge and kitchen sink were clean. Room was pretty dirty. Corners of rooms were very dirty and the kitchen counters had permanent burn marks and spots that can't be removed. The counter really needs to be replaced. Bathroom/shower was fairly clean, but could be better. The shower facet was actually the type of facet that one would find on a kitchen facet and wasn't very easy to adjust temperature. There was also no hot water because both boilers for the hotel had stopped working. The room as a whole could use a lot of updating including replacing the really old, worn out carpet, the bathroom fixtures, kitchen countertop, etc.
Staff, facility, room... all were fine. Furniture had a couple of rips in the fabric but overall a clean comfortable environment
The propert is aging and maintenance is not keeping up. Door locks are loose closet doors off the hinge. Over all a good deal for the price. Wifi is poor.
Breakfast was ok Door in upstairs suite had been broken into, frame was still busted & door was not secure. I asked to be moved to another suite.
Comfortable bed Standard finishes and plumbing fixtures. Kitchen faucet handle broken.
