The line to pick up your car in Fort Myers was over 2 hours long. I cancelled my rental and instead created one with Alamo that had only a short line. I was told the Budget line is often long at that location. There is no online checkin and quick pick up for Budget unless you do it well ahead of time. I even tried to join their rewards program while in line but it did not allow me to switch to a quick pick up. I recommend not using Budget at this location unless you are a rewards member and arrange for the quick pick up service. If you do, do not prepay so that you are stuck in a two hour line. Set it up so you can pay at arrival and are able to cancel if you face a long wait.Reviewed 26 Mar 2025
