The rooms are ok The staff is rude. The breakfast is very medíocre, I Advise you to eat nothing other than bread or you'll Be sick. The pool is minimal and only Gets sunlight for a couple hours. I could not sleep as the noise is terrible... When you consider stAying here : don't! Go across the street To sofitel, a real 5 star abd cheaper
Excellent location to visit the Medina (15mins walk) or easily pick up a cab. Quieter area and very close to modern/ chic bars and restaurants, casino and clubs. Room was clean, spacious and a really nice place to chill out. Decent bed and bathroom facilities. View of Atlas Mountains from 4th floor South-facing window was a bonus. Free Wi-Fi in hotel. Helpful reception staff. Nice spa area. Excellent massage. Good buffet breakfast - quality and variety and available till 10.30am! One of the best hotel experiences I have had. Would definitely stay in the area again and no reason not to stay at the Hivernage again too - not a real 5* but then neither was the price we paid. Having no outdoor space that receives sun was a big miss but the shaded outdoor pool area is still nice. It could be noisy in the bedroom from what sounded like waste water and lift noise but this was not a big problem and certainly not at night. Slow check in - often under-staffed reception during our stay but this did not make too much of an impact to be fair. Restaurant service was variable - arriving after 9am meant that tables were mostly unset or partly-set and getting that fixed was harder than you would hope! Unusual that you have to request the jacuzzi jets to be turned on in the indoor pool. The heavy water pipe/massager water fountains in pool did not work. Expensive massage/ treatments.
The breakfast was amazing, rich will all kinds of food and open until 10:30. The hammam was nice too, after the long days of walking. The staff was very nice & the hotel is located next to many restaurants and nightclubs, so no need to take a taxi after. The pool was very nice, but was always in the shade and also even though it's a 5 star hotel, it's nothing compared to the Sofitel located just minutes away.
Traditional style, roses everywhere.. Almost no internet. Very slow, and very difficult to conect. Noise from the street.
not enough elevators
The location is very convenient, as it is close both to Medina and the New City. It is a perfect place to stay for those who are not ready yet to live in a riad, but want to explore the old medina. We asked for a quite room on the upper floor and got what we wanted. WiFi is fast, breakfast is delicious. There is a short drive from the hotel both to the railway station and the airport.
Good location, although the Hivernage district itself is pretty soulless. Luckily the hotel is close to the medina, but not inside it. The food was lovely (breakfast and room service). Very friendly and helpful staff, gave good advice. Professional spa staff, had an excellent massage. Noisy security guards at the back of the hotel woke me up every morning at 7AM. The pool was freezing. The hamam was just one steam room only, the rest of the spa consisted of one rest room and a few treatment rooms.
We were moved to another hotel for the first night as they did not have a room for us
Excellent service, great people working there. The food was good. Rooms were so nice! Its close to everything. I was there on a girl-trip so it was close to all the nightclubs and everything :)
Rooms and grounds were lovely. Very clean and a beautiful pool. Staff have no customer service skills. When we asked for things, they were never brought to us. Items are added to our bill that I never ordered and they made me argue for a half hour to prove it wasn't us. Service at meals is very slow and often non existent (we had to often get our own coffee despite asking multiple wait staff).
Maybe too quiet, and maybe because it was out of the season..But absolutely a hotel I can recommend..I felt very welcome.. Maybe a bit high price for the rooms, well I had a suite, 2 rooms..So well, must be worth it ??
location and the engineering of the hotel and the lovely design and decoration nothing
very good service spa very relaxing food also good
big clean swimmingpool, bigger than average rooms with a nice view to the pool or garden (ask the reception), if possible take poolview otherwise you have to walk a few minutes to your room
Relaxing atmosphere, Nice swimmingpool and polite staff Difficult to be understood with only English, warm coffee was not easy to get
The concierge Sherif is the best I have come across in any hotel anywhere in the world. He goes out of his way to satisfy every request. Very good spa and gym. large rooms. Nice large pool. Only 1 chair on balcony (had to request second). No internet offered in room although a connection is there. The food menu is not what I would expect in a 5 star hotel. I did not appreciate being charged for in room coffee. The size of the hotel is such a long way from reception to room especially when the key card malfunctions. The Hotel Taxi used for transfer from airport was antique and the door flew open, window winder fell off during the journey (Friendly driver though). Hotel rather remote from Madina. Requested nuts on 2 occasions with bar drinks but never arrived. Probably due to language (lack of my French). Room could have flowers, welcome fruit and bath robes normal in a 5 star.
Everything was perfect, the rooms are very clean and spacy. The staff was very helpful , cooperative with a nice smile all the time. The breakfast is OK. The Hammam is good experience , thanks to Rachid who gave us nice bath..House keeping staff were professional and cooperative . Only the location We need to use 40 MD taxi at least to go from the hotel to the city and go back. But thanks to Abdul Samad and Jamal the two drivers that made this nice experience
gorgeous, clean very far from the city center
The accomodation was excellent. The pool was fantastic in size and cleanliness. A bit far from centre of Town. More staff should be available at reception.
The hotel itself was beautifully decorated with large guest rooms and opulent decor that made it feel you were staying at an exclusive boutique hotel. While the staff were all friendly, the level of customer service left a lot to be desired and did not match the appearance of the hotel. Thankfully, it was not that busy at the hotel as I do not believe the staff are well enough trained to handle a full house. The staff do not know how to anticipate guests' needs as you would expect at similar resorts, and simple requests like additional blankets for the room do not get fulfilled without multiple follow ups.
The room was good - great design and big bathroom for us as a family. Also liked the bed areas around the pool. No entertainment, boring in the evening, one of restaurants and also 2 bars were closed. Not enough communication - on booking the hotel it mentioned a kids club we saw nothing about this, also a free Hamman I had to ask for this it was not offered. There was no information in the room concerning the hotels facilities and nothing was in written in English. A can ok coke and a large bottle of water was almost £3.00 and they cannot cash your travellers cheques in the hotel you have to do this in centre of Marrakech.
Was a very relaxing place to go. Ideal for couples but also facilitate well for children. Felt slightly mislead by the rom being advertised as 'Atlas Mountains view' but as we were on ground floor we couldn't see them. Twin room is 2 single beds together.
It was quiet and relaxing, a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the medina. The website stated that the hotel had wi-fi throughout, which it didn't. Wi-fi was only useable in the public areas which was annoying.
Staff in reception area were rude. Housekeeping not very good, they do not change the towels, they just refold them and put them back, food is the same it doesn't change.
The hotel was very quiet, calm and relaxing. The kids particularly enjoyed playing in the pool and on the pool table. It lacks other activities for children or a play area. Not enough activities for the children. Room service too expensive. Shuttle service to the city needs to be improved. They advertised free airport transfer but was not picked until 2 hours after we came out of the airport. I had to make several phonecalls and then the minibus had no air con and it broke down on the way to the hotel. Staff also overcharged us on the last day. Staff need to inform people about the other facilities at the hotel.
Room is nice Pool is not heated enough we were not able to use the pool and the one which is covered is 15 euros the access ! and rates for hammam, spa are really too much expensive , rates like in Europe... Breakfast is basic and the staff is not acting professional, especially at the reception whare they are not smiling, wearing boots and uniforms sometimes too small. It looks really 2 star hotel.Only the housekeeper was acting professional when I told her that somebody had drunk my sprite in the minibar...it was replaced and apologies were given. We took also the shuttle to go to Marrakech. It left at 7.00pm and was supposed to come back to the hotel leaving at 9.00 pm from Marrakech but the driver told us 8.15 pm .taxi cost to come back 200dhs !
The gommage at the spa was ok ! Very disapointed.. poor food and service/pool was ok not a 5 star hotel
nice pool and hotel environment, rooms are acceptable nice. extremely poor service and bad food in the restaurant. Hotel is far outside and shuttles are at unsuitable times (6pm / 9pm). I would consider this hotel as a 4 star in terms of environment and 2 star for the food and the service. You are not allowed to bring food and drinks from outside but the restaurant is very expensive (i.e. coce 3€ and 1l Water 3€). Most of the guests i have spoken to, were not satisfied with the service too, i would never book this hotel again.
Many bars and restaurants, great pool and spa. Staff was very slow, hardly any other guests in bars and restaurants.
Awful Room was supposed to be pool view but turned out to be no view. Booking.com told me to solve it with the hotel who did not do anything. Booking.com rate was 30 euros more expensive than normal rate of the hotel.
Very nice rooms, luxury.. No internet at night time, bad smell at night in the rooms from aircontition. No very close to the town.
Very extensive grounds The food was very overpriced and it was somewhat worn
The hotel is very luxurious at such good value. Very clean and well maintained daily. Perfect place to stay for golf/activities or just relaxing. A tour of the grounds would have been nice as the grounds were quite large (finding the different restaurants/facilities). Also perhaps a guide in the room to Marrakech/nearby activities. We asked the staff about dune buggying and he was able to tell us a little about it but I would've preferred to see some leaflets/guide with info/prices/times.
Very luxirous stay all staff very effiecient and friendly a bit tooo big
The nice and calm atmosfire in the room and at the pool. We were not informed abot the spa and tha was included to the guests. So we missed to visit the spa.
Resort was very quiet and peaceful A little too far from Marrakech
all round quality of the hotel was first class none at all
Friendly staff - information Concinerge but the hotel is now in need of renovaion of which the painting and some of the upgrades (disturbed for three afternoons) started whilst we were there Manager told us that no work was being undertaken however three members of his staff were banging in the room next door - he then agreed that some light work was being carried out and offered us champagne - we dont drink and just wanted some peace and quiet
Nice gardens and excellent room service and cleanliness. Excessive prices for certain services (restaurant, mini-bar, etc.)
Nice staff and lovely location Old building . Rooms need completely renovation but it's okay
The Pool Staff not very friendly. No poolside service. The first room we were put into smelled of smoke. They did change our room over, however, this one still had a faint smell of smoke in it as well. Had to ask 2 times for toilet paper. Just not on the ball for a big hotel chain.
Location and room (we were given a free upgrade) Can of coke was £2!! Also as well as the City Tax the hotel also put there own tax on top of the bill at £1.50 per day.
Practical distance away from Madina. Drinks in bar and food in restaraunt costly.
The garden and the swimming pool are very nice and excellently maintained The rooms should be refurbished, especially taking into account the price charged by the hotel. They do not correspond the usual Meridien status
i liked the garden and the location of the hotel i didn't like the room, the beds are unconfortable and the rooms quiet old, the bar terrasse is too small
The hotel is exceptionally well located to the old city attractions and the rooms are generous in size. Service could have been better.
The staff was disorganized and dishonest. They strung us along for several hours about attempts to fix the AC in our room only to finally admit there was no AC in the hotel in February (despite being a warm and muggy night) after we confronted them with the fact that every room had its windows open.
Everything. The location, just metres from the square. The tranquility of the hotel. Superb breakfast. The heated rooftop pool. The four excellant restaurants.Fantastic 5 star hotel. NONE
The Cocktail bar was super, the Indian/Thai restaurant was poor and the staff were very inexperienced in that restaurant. The rest of the Hotel was enjoyable. The food was of a poor standard we ate out as a result, which was a pain and an inconvenience, the breakfast was not of the normal hotel standard.
The hotel was like a palace and the room was amazing. The roof top indian restaurant was excellent and the hotel was in the centre so very near to all of the local attractions, perfect location.
We could relax in a patio. The staff had hospitality.
Excellent Spa facility, very helpful staff @ front office, housekeeping & spa. Food @ the Moroccon restaurant was super. The service and food at the Indian Restaurant was of poor quality.
Great location. This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel. We have enjoyed our stay each time. The rooms are excellant, breakfast very good, ample choice from the buffet. Would strongly recommend.
The tranquility of the hotel, swimming pool and central location The attitude of the staff and lack of organisation/speed of serving customers
The facilities of the hotel and its surroundings, on one side, and the comfort of the room on the other side. We checked out at 9.30 Pm, upon our arrival from the desert and were told that in the following day it would be possible to extend our stay in the room, until leaving to the AirPort (later in the afternoon), but we would have to confirm it with reception after breakfast. We have done so, but were told that a group was entering and so we had to leave at 12am. They new that beforehand so they could have given us another room... We actually didn't have time to enjoy the hotel at all (and we were on an expensive room, at least among our 5 nights stay in Marrakesh and surroundings)).
Traditional decor but luxurious everything was wonderful
the hotel is both beautiful and relaxing. the staff are very well trained, and friendly. it is a place you are happy to come back to after a day out. the pool is very well sited, and not visually intrusive. the grounds are very well lit.
This is a charming oasis amidst the chaos that is Marrakech
Staff always cheerful and helpful; ambience pleasurably exotic but comfortable Food, though well-cooked, tended to be a touch slow in arriving but not to a disagreeable extent - after all the general ethos was that of unhurried leisure, proper for a holiday.
The food was good in the evenings and nice grounds The room was small and dark and seemed over priced
Cuisine, garden, helpful staff, comfortable bed. swimming pool Room was too dark
good service non extistant business center
Delightful hotel that was a haven in bustling Marrakech. A wonderful swimming pool set amid orange trees was a welcome retreat after the busy streets. A delicious breakfast was served on a tree filled, shady terrace. The rooms were beautifully decorated and bathrooms equipped with very good products that were available in the hotel shop. A convenient location too. The staff were very helpful and charming, but could have been more knowledgable in recommending restaurants
The hotel welcomed us warmly to what was a haven of calm and relaxation. The central gardens are charming and well maintained; the food excellent although a little expensive as were the drinks. Staff were helpful and friendly but information about the city and things to do and see a little scarce. The bathroom was very basic and not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The bedroom had very limited storage, no drawer space at all so we found ourselves living out of our suitcases.
Great hotel in the Medina, good location. Beautifully decorated and large rooms with terrace. Pool and the garden are nice. Staff is very friendly, helpful and service minded and will make sure your stay is comfortable. Spa treatments are highly recommendable. One minor comment is that there could be some bees during the breakfast.
The enclosed gardens were lovely and we had a large, pleasant room. The bathroom was awful - there was black mould around the bath and the walls were stained. The toilet seat had a broken hinge which had black dirt in it - but they did throw rose petals in the bowl!. Otherwise the room was good. The service at breakfast was very poor - I had to ask a waiter three times for some butter and milk, and if you had breakfast late, there were things missing from the buffet.
Good friendly staff, location,& rooms Breakfast in the morning not cooked in the hotel, everyyhing come in packed, cold buffet, no hotbreakfast, idid not like this if they had inhouse kitchen wouldhave been good
The location of the hotel and the mini kitchen was very good. No information about Marrakesh and the staff gave conflicitng information.
Location excellent, close to centre, good cafes, restaurants and other hotels very close by. Room clean and modern. Free wifi and films was bonus Breakfast limited, reception staff sometimes not the most helpful, no trips, city maps or foreign exchange but available at nearby hotels especially sofitel which is part of the same accor group.
The Hotel is excellent value for money. Very clean and well equipped. The breakfast has a brilliant selection. I would recommend this hotel as a good base in Marrakech.
Fantastic staff that were helpful and efficient! Wonderful facility! None
It is clean and the staff are knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Location is convenient for hop on hop off. Very close to Jemaa Al Fin where tourists visit and shop. We felt safe at the hotel. In a place like Morocco, safety should be a paramount concern. In comparison to Ibis Hotel at Casablanca, where we also stayed and where staff takes advantage of tourists instead of helping them, Suitehotel Marrakech is a haven. Nothing.
Web site showing 4stars hotel, it was a 3 stars hotel only!!! Breakfast my god Horrible
very well located hotel. Clean room and good breakfast. Free parking is nive for visitors coming to Marrakech by car. Family suit too small. Poor Internet connection.
good location, nice view from room, space in the room the receptionist: minimum services and minimum kindness, no map from the city, no information about restaurants whikle very close to the hotel, they were excellent choices, not very pleasant, free movies on TV not working during 2 days,
The desk staff immediately found interconnecting suites for our family, although our online booking had not been received by them. Breakfast timing until 11 am was very good. The rooms were very comfortable and our teenagers enjoyed the 'suitebox'. The location was great, within walking distance of both old and new Marrakech, and good restaurants nearby. The open-top sightseeing bus stopped outside and it was easy to get a taxi to the airport on leaving. There was no noise, however, and although we did not avail of the swimming pool due to the weather the pool area looked very pleasant. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
The swimming pool area, spa, really comfortable beds and location. The service (with the exception of housekeeping, the spa and some of the staff at the swimming pool restaurant) was awful. There were a lot of staff, but most did very little. There was little, if no service, around the pool area, the bar staff were terrible (they practically ignored you), and the reception staff were arrogant. The prices of food and drinks were ridiculous, especially given the poor service. As a result we kept orders in the hotel down to the staff. I've stayed at many 5 star hotels, and to be honest I could run this one better than the existing management, despite having no hospitality management experience.
friendly staff and great breakfast! We had difficulty alternating between the bath and shower taps, i.e. the 'button' was not easy to operate - took nearly 10 minutes. also, we were not given any info about breakfast when we checked in, and had to call reception.
Great location though 800m from the medina may be generous. Best thing was the pool with stunning giant beds to sunbathe and lounge on. Nice clean rooms. Rather pricey hotel prices. €5+ for half a pint and the first (and only) night I had room service I found out the sandwiches were around €25. We went in November which is not busy yet it still wasn’t easy to get served by the pool despite there being more staff than guests. I was annoyed they charged for certain things in the gym, when you are staying at a (not cheap) 5* I don’t expect silly add-ons like that.
We found many members of staff extremely courteous and helpful. The amenities were excellent, but I feel if you are staying in such a hotel the spa should be accessible without additional cost. The breakfast was copious and delicious, with friendly helpful staff who served coffee and tea in record time. The pool area was well organised, and the pool temperature, though quite "fresh" was perfect. One or two more senior staff members were impolite in the extreme. This I had been warned about and was disappointed that it still existed, because it undermines the enormous effort made by the rest of the very endearing employees. However one has to imagine that all the guests are not perfect "angels" either!!!
Very comfortable hotel and nice place for relaxing and chilling out The staff at the terrace bar where they only serve drinks were a bit slow
Excellent staff, very welcoming and helpful, excellent breakfast, very good room service with amazing presentation. Good location, secure, relaxing. Not many people can speak english, mostly french and arabic. The beds were quite hard and the swimming pool was very shallow.
Its grounds and pool area and its position near to the Medina and rooms Service was a bit erratic in the bars and restaurant
good breakfast room is basic and toilet very small ,television very old,
everything was excellent
Nicely decorated clean rooms. Good location. Nice swimming pool. Greatly over priced food and drinks. Ongoing maintenance/construction around the pool.
The simpathy of the staff, the comfort and the fabulous scent At The hall and the heated pool Noyhing!
lovely gardens and swimming pool. staff were useless. food was poor. very expensive for drinks, food, spa etc.
I was very impressed with the Junior Suite, the public sections of the hotel, the swimming pool and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel is also idealy situated .
Our complaint about the room was dealt with a free upgrade.Staff are very obliging.Common parts were fine and pool areas very nice. Good Spa. The rooms are very old fashioned. Air conditioning was turned off at the mains despite the very hot weather which made it stuffy and uncomfortable. A hotel in need of investment. The main restaurant (Oranger) lacked professionalism, exemplified by the fact that having been given the wine list, they did not have in stock the first two bottles that we ordered and the 3rd bottle of white wine arrived near the end of our meal at room temperature.
Personnel cater for every need. They are efficient, extremely helpful and friendly and it is a dream location. "Big is better!"
Hotel Staff high skilled, room size, cleanliness of the room & bathroom, confort beds, food, relaxing facility There is no handy shower in the toilet, TV's are old not LCD & No DVD, Satelite stations are few
the hotel was stunning, decor, art , facilities and the people very helpful and pleasent. it has exceeded my expections. I was expecting to pay in euro as the price quoted, however the bill came in local currency and that worked out to be a bit dearer . I was disappointed this was not pointed out earlier .
I thought it was one of the One and Only Group. It wasn't!! (My mistake) It was very dark in all of the public area's, no tea and coffee or in the room and empty mini bar, slow room service and coffee and food was cold
The breakfast was excellent, the hotel from outside and inside is excellent but the rooms were ok. Toilet not working properly
The lobby is amazing big and there is more space than needed which is very good. The pool is huge and the pool area a perfect escape from the hectic life outside the hotel wall. You really need a "normal" world in Marrakech where you can relax... the hotel is also next to the Medina and you only need 10-15 min walk to the big square (food market), and you are right next to the new modern downtown. Service could have been better for a "deluxe" hotel. First of all we had got a confirmation for pick-up service at arrival at the airport - nobody there! It sucks! Then you have to fight with the taxi drivers and pay rip off prices to get to your hotel on your own. We never got compensation for their failur!
The pool are was o.k, room reasonable and location reasonable The staff were not 5*, I asked for shower gel 3 times and still received none, reported no hot water for 2 days during my stay and a repair man appeared but nothing was done, therefore we were unable to shower for 3 days. Staff competant in English when we arrived and wanted to sell us a trip but when we complained they wer unable to understand English
Fantastic hotel, best location in Marrakesh right outside the Medina and close to the new center.
The staff were very courteous and always extremely helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, particularly the croissants, morrocan flat pastry bread and crepes. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good, particularly the harira and veal targine.
poor service. poor restaurant
Hotel staff at front office were very bad.
Pretty much everything was fine, especially if one likes to be away from noisy places. This was the most peaceful place I've ever been to and still near to fun sites. The maintainenance of the rooms, especially of the kitchen electrics as e.g. the fridge, could be better. Dusting the rooms would help too...... Besides that it's just fine!
There was nothing I enjoyed about our stay. Can not begin to put in to word how unpleasant this hotel and its staff were, especially one of the receptionists, Karim. Rude, arrogant and extremley unprofessional. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We found cocaine in our room on the floor, the pool was filthy and only knee deep, ants in the kitchen, no cutlery available, the electricity tripped four times while we were there with us having to ring reception only to get a very slow response, and we were told by one of the managers in a casual manner that the 'Arab business' men in the room next door were bringing prostitutes back. The whole experience ruined our holiday.
The fact that the room opened directly onto mature gardens. The Village is still under construction and some facilities are a bit weak, such as the restaurant. The check in was unproffessional because the staff lacked proper training.
Complex/ Hotel compound comprised of stunning villas, several swimming pool options (ranging from paddling to serious swim training), security guard entry peppered around the perimeter wall coupled with lush landscaping and copious palm trees throughout the facility - fantastic! Dining options varied between verry little and nothing at all. Although I recognise our stay was during the Ramadan festival it is fair to say that non-Muslims still want to eat at meal times. A limited menu was available one night until 2030 hours, only French fries the next and nothing what so ever on another! The free courier service down to the sister-complex at Palmerie Golf Palace served exquisite food from a selection of cuisine styles- Marocan, Italian, International, French etc. These were open until the small hours and the cuisine/service was flawless. However, £60 was the low end of lypical p/p for 3 Courses. I was charged 10 times the norm for a bottle of 1.5L water - 60 MADs versus 6 elsewhere.Business scam? No local shop!
only the weather cockroaches everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, flies in the food, staff do not speak english at all, everything overpriced, no room service, shall i go on.......????
Beautiful area and decoration comfortable beds. They upgraded us to a 3 bedroom which was nice. Check in and out was done quickly. refridgerator did not work, toilet pulled away from wall and ready fall to the floor we discovered this late at night. Floors very dirty, large holes in the wall in living room with exposed wires. The restaurant was self serve we waited for 15 minutes for waiter to get drink order, we were only able to get 1 plate of food and then were told they were closed, tried to charge $200.00 US
the rooms are very comfortable and clean and quiet I have a comment regarding the restaurant hours. I mean in marrakesh it is so hot during the day, I would have liked to stay by the pool late and have dinner and drink. Closing at 10 or so is too early for summer nights.
The hotel is amazingly peaceful. The view from the balcony over seeing the pool and restaurant area is very mind refreshing. The drive around the Village, is one of its kind, beautiful. Second time staying at these apartments. When they say 3 rooms, that's 2 rooms + living rooms, not clear and causes confusion. Oh toilet paper used slightly rough :P consider taking your own or buying some. :)
Close to the main attractions of the city. Quite and nice staff always happy to help.
This time I stayed in Essaadi hotel, not the palace, for four night in March and i found it very good as always because i satay in this hotel when ever i visit Marrackech but i also stay in other hotels in the city. The location of Essaadi is very good if you do not like isolation from the city actions. The best in Essaadi, in my opinion, is the walk path that connect the hotel to the palace its more than 700 m long full of varieties of citrus, palm, olive, pomegranate trees. I usually take a walk on the path, in the morning before breakfast where the smell of orange blossom fill the srrounding. Breakfast improved a lot with many varieties and good preparation. Staff were very friendly and happy to help but need appreciation. Restaurant , i tried grilled seabass For dinner and it was very good but slow service though. I found The pool was heated to 26 degrees although i did not use. Room was always cleaned and prepared well and when i asked for some roses in a vase it was put in my room without extra cost. A basket of fruit was in the room when i checked in. The hotel was happy to keep my luggage for couple of days when i travelled away from the city. The new manager is always walking around and talking to the guests. Its good value for money as four star hotel, and i would look forward to stay in this hotel in near future. Wifi is little slow, rug in the room looks old. No tea or coffee machine in room, apparenty in my recent travel this service is no longer availble in hotel in Marrakech.
Nothing Everything , front desk wasnt good at all no customer service
Hotel room is large and confortable. It is far from city centre, and you surely must take a taxi to get there. The breakfast could be better.
It was good but not 5 star, hotel was massive but rooms ere very backdated but spacious. no one knew how to speak english.
Great, clean swimming pool. It was a three star impression throughout.Got ripped off by the reception, they doubled taxi fair to the airport. If we got the same taxi from their own taxi rank outside hotel it would have been 100 Rihad. We paid 200 out of which 100 prob went to the reception staff. Genuinly nice driver embarassed and confused....
Big hotel large loppy and garden Need renovation
Most of teh staff were friendly. I would nott class it a Five Star hotel despite how it ha sbeen advertised on their website. If you are looking for a clean budget hotel this is fine howver i fyou ar elooking for a five star hotel with all the emanities this would not be it. There were additional charges for using the Gym and room safe which you would expect to be included in the price
the swimming pool area is great. The restaurants are very expensive. The food is not great. During the breakfast we could see birds going in the pastry baskets and directly eat from it. Staff would see that but would not react. Au bar de la piscine, le serveur avait beaucoup de difficultés a nous rendre notre monnaie. Il fallait toujours reclamer car il nous disait d'aller nous installer au bord de la piscine, et ne repassait pas pour rendre la monnaie.
Services are excellent and staff are so friendly SPA staff are not too profisional
Pool area was very good Breakfast selection was limited
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Semiramus, but an hour after checking out, I realized I'd left my wedding ring in the bathroom of our room. We went back and spoke to the staff and then talked to the housekeeper crew. They said they never saw it. My wife and I are 100% sure it was in a glass by the bathroom sink. I told the housekeepers that the ring is not valuable and only really ha sentimental value. I offered to pay them a good bit more than the $40 ring is worth. But they continued to say they hadn't seen it. We were distraught about it.
We thought the food was very good We thought the room was too dark
The room is large, got wifi in the whole hotel, hair dryer, got a basket of fruits on the first day. The breakfast was a buffet and the food was OK. There are a lot of room where you can take a rest. The location in booking.com is wrong, the hotel is located in semlalia in the north. The Air conditioning doesn't work well. the room service does not check if there are people in the room before entering. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the city center.
High quality personal service. Great attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and quiet. Excellent transportation service included.
The pool, the staff, the garden, the room. It is a beautiful place to stay and probably our the best of our trip. The price of dinner in the hotel was not clear and turned out to be quite expensive (over £60 for one starter, two chicken main courses & a bottle of water) However, the food was excellent.
The quiet setting and homely atmosphere make this a relaxing place to stay; the staff from the directors to the gardeners were all both helpful and friendly. It would be helpful if themeals were priced so that one knew how much the dish (or the course) cost.
my wife was appalled by nthe fact that cats were srolling around in the dinning hall when one jumped up on the couch where she was sitting resulting in her not eating in the restauarant again after going back to the room she telephoned the reception to complain and wasw advised that the manager would call but suprise suprise there was no call. she has now decided that she will put this information on the top outstanding reviews on the internet
Yhr catering is excelleny, drink aswell as food.Vert relaxing place to be I missed a ledger with all the information re, the hotel, activities of the animation team, transport to Marrakech etc
This is a very good hotel, food is excellent, a lot of choice (with multiple themes during the week), drinks are good as well, all the "real" things like coca-cola, schweppes, martini. A real all inclusive stay. Not much really, we went off-season, not much people, so it was very relaxing, which was perfect for us. People who like to be extremely social would probably want to go during the season.
Excelent facilities, very helpful staff, everything is more that perfect.
Great swimming pools and decent food fo an all inclusive package There is no shower screen so when you have a shower the bathroom became a swimming pool. there is minimal English spoken in the hotel. It is 15 minutes outside of Marrekech.
One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Truly recommended.
Very luxurious decor, good service, great HD tv, good food. They were unable to change some Moroccan money for smaller denominations. They also charged the room using the current euro exchange rate despite our booking confirmation with booking.com stating that we would pay 897 euros for 3 nights plus 3.50 euros pppn tax. We were only overcharged around £20 but felt there was a principle at stake. We complained without success.
