Excellent 10.0
Pros: If you are searching for an 'experience' in Marrakesh, don't look further. Riad El Youssoufi makes you feel at home, in a foreign country. We had a lot of contact with the owner: Asma. She helped us with planning our trip through Marocco, arranging a car, getting us from the airport to the riad and much more! This made planning our adventure a lot easier and gave us a better feeling of 'vacation'. This riad and it's hospitality (from all the staff members) made us feel safe, feel at home and feel like family. The riad is beautiful, the rooms are big and clean, the breakfast is amazing and the location is superb. As I said, don't look further. You won't regret it ;)
Cons: There is nothing we didn't like.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the people from the riad are just amazing, super quiet, kind and very attentive. Yossuf does really make an effort on how you feel about your stay and helps you with any type of question you need. Definitely recommended. will come back again
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The quality of service. Yossouf (at the reception of the Riad) was really nice and attentive. He always asked us how everything was going and if we need anything. He was very kind and polite. Also, the rooms and the fountain and breakfast area were beautiful and magical. The breakfast was beautifully cooked, lots of natural and tasty food. I am going to miss it! They made our stay in Morocco even better, it is a perfect place for couples. Also, it is very well located only 15 min walk from the main Square Jama Lfna.
Cons: Everything was good, no complains at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very cozy room in an oasis of peace. Youssouf, the manager, gave us a very warm welcome and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. He very kindly took care of our luggage after our checkout and also provided us with helpful advice on things to see and do around Marrakech. Breakfast is homemade, plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend Riad El Youssoufi and look forward to staying here again soon!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff goes the extra mile for your convenience. The riad is an a beautiful neighbourhood. Recommended.
Cons: Sense of moisture in the basement room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The manager Youssef is top class. So kind, friendly and professional. Breakfast was fabulous. Loved every minute of our stay here, especially unwinding on the rooftop.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Cosy atmosphere, very nice room, Marocco style, great breakfast, everyone was very helpful and polite.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had a very pleasant stay at this Riad. The manager on duty Yousef was highly affable and had an immaculate attention to detail — for example we asked for an item change for our second morning's breakfast, and Yousef actually remembered. He was a great pleasure to interact with. The Riad itself is also very quiet, clean, and cool. Also tip for other travelers: you can tell taxi drivers to go to Dar El Bacha (nearby landmark) and then walk to the Riad. From Marrakech train station it shouldn't be more than 10-15 dirhams if they use meter. Pay no more than 20 dirham if they refuse to use the meter. (as of Oct 2021)
Cons: The Riad doesn't have any control over this, but the street leading to it has a bunch of construction going on and is a bit dusty. Presumably this is just temporary.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: gorgeous antique decor great location fabulous staff. SO friendly and helpful
Cons: nothing to dislike was wonderful
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff: Fatiha was friendly and helpful. She helped us secure our COVID tests and made our stay very convenient. The rest of the staff including the folks that manage the breakfast service were friendly and accommodating. The owner of the Riad who we saw a few times during our stay – was warm and friendly. He greeted us and expressed his gratitude of our visit. It was cool to see the photos of celebrities and other high-profile guests who have visited Kniza over the years. Facilities: Gorgeous luxury riad near the Bab Doukkula medina gate. The room we were provided was breathtaking and included a domed ceiling room with etched Moroccan Tadelakt plaster design. The room was luxurious, and we were excited to return to the riad each night after a chaotic day walking in the medina. Comfort: the bed was comfortable and we definitely felt like we were in a luxury riad. We did hear music from the downstairs dinner festivities each night but it was not an issue and concluded around 10 – 11 pm. We did let the staff know that the TV was not working and that the magnifying mirror was not tightened to wall, but not a huge inconvenience but should be addressed for the next guest. Cleanliness: room was clean and comfortable – staff straightened up the room each day and did a turn down in the evening. Value: Riad is not cheap but you do truly feel like you are staying in a luxury riad – each location such as the pool and upstairs terrace was breathtaking. Location: This location is great for parking and was about 20 -30 min walking distance to the Djemaa el Fna, Yves Saint Laurent Museum, and also walking in Gueliz. Once we parked our car near the gate of Bab Dokkula we did not move the car until our departure.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I really love Riad Kniza because the service was excellent, the staff spoke very good English. Haj Mohamed is an extraordinary host, you could tell that he is passionate about his riad and his exclusive gallery. The food is traditional but so delicious, really great and the setting of the decor of the riad is like a museum.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: everything fabulous gorgeous decor wonderful staff that help you with everything highly recommend this riad!
Cons: loved everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: we loved the attention to detail throughout our entire stay. Relaxing in our private lounge with a roaring fire at the end of the day was heaven. The tagine in the restaurant was the best of our trip. Parking was easy and the staff were very courteous and helpful with all our requests. We met the owner who was kind enough to show us his incredible collection of Moroccan craft though the centuries. all in all our favourite stay of our trip. we’ll be back!
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: me and my boyfriend had an fantastic stay at this stunning riad. Beautiful architecture the room that was given to us was enchanting and stunning. The service was impeccable everything is up to excellent standard.Big shout out for the Breakfast and cakes to die for. Thank you for the service and hospitality Sara and the staff. They really went over and beyond. I have never been so happy I will definitely be coming back lots of love
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: everything
Cons: -
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is a spectacularly beautiful riad and the attention to detail is incredible. Staff is wonderful and the location is in a really authentic, non-touristy part of Marrakech. I would highly recommend
Cons: Can't think of anything
Excellent 10.0
The establishment is very well placed, a haven of peace in the Medina. The Riad is beautiful, well decorated. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The staff is nice But I do not recommend going during the winter because even it is a 5 star, there is no heating. We came across a cold week (and with rain) and we were cold. We asked to turn on the chimney of the room, but it was necessary to call it systematically all the time. Never an initiative on the part of the staff, who is attentive but very slow with a very impersonal reception and little attention to the different needs of the guests. Shared opinion: very beautiful Riad which requires a more careful management
Excellent 10.0
My husband and I stayed for several nights and enjoyed the Riads location on the edge of the Medina. Our room on the second level was priced mid-tier with a nice sitting area for relaxing after being out all day. We also stayed in a smaller room one night and it too was adequate if your not travelling with too much luggage. You can have anything on offer when and where you want it and if evenings are pleasant you should dine on the rooftop one night. When I put a small gash in my head, one of the staff went to he pharmacy for bandage and antiseptic and would not accept reimbursement. They were most helpful and personable, even offering our driver a coffee in the mornings.
Excellent 10.0
This hotel was even better than we could have imagined. The service was amazing making us feel comfortable and luxurious. The riad itself provided a beautiful quiet oasis as an escape from the exciting souks and crowded winding streets just outside, so we were able to wander and explore the Medina while easily retreating to our beautiful private space. The breakfast was decadent and delicious every day, and we loved eating up on the roof terrace to soak in some sun. We still talk about the eggs served in a tagine that we had on our first day. The wonderful staff were very accommodating and helped us every step of the way. A driver met us at the airport and brought us/our bags straight to the riad with no problem, they organized our day-trip to the Atlas Mountains and took into consideration our desire to ride camels at sunset, they gave advice on restaurants and things to see, when the owner was around he let us pop in to his museum of Berber antiquities just across the alley, and on our last night they even set us up with a roaring fire in our room's fireplace. In addition to special attention and luxury, the experience felt very Moroccan! From the food to the aesthetic of the riad, and the live music in the courtyard each evening, it felt very authentic. I hope to come back and recommend anyone looking for romance or a cultural getaway stay at riad Kniza.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: So very welcoming and friendly, very clean and such a great group of friendly staff. Facilities were fantastic, massage and Haman were great! Laurence, the manager was amazing. We experience some difficulties due to borders being closed and Laurence couldn’t have been more supportive! Thank you Laurence you are a wonderful person!
Cons: It was perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This Riad is really wonderful. It was our first stay in Morocco and it has become an unforgettable one. From the rooms to the beautiful rooftop and common areas, the excursion to the Atlas mountains, the massages and hammam, the delicious food and tea, everything was from great quality, clean and well organised. And then there are the people who make this place unforgettable: thank you to everyone in the team to make our stay so unique and for making us feel so welcome and at home. Will certainly come back!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had an amazing and memorable stay at the Charme d’Orient. The Riad is a stunningly beautiful oasis of calm in a quiet backstreet in the old town within walking distance from the main attractions in Marrakech. Laurence and Alain have transformed the space into a beautiful illustration of Moroccan craftsmanship. From the sculpted ceilings to the beautiful tile work, everything is finished to perfection. Our room “Amira Fati” was spacious, had an extra large bed, a very comfortable and firm mattress and high quality linen. We slept really well. The beautifully finished bathroom gave an added hammam feel to this calm and relaxing space. The owner Laurence was present upon arrival and checked in with us each day to ensure our stay was going well. She organised an in-house hammam for us as well as home cooked, delicious meals served on the rooftop terrace. Saïd the live-in manager at the riad really made our experience in Morocco very special. He provided outstanding service and was attentive to all of our needs. Saïd accompanied us on a trip to the valley he is originally from and introduced us to local berber culture and the stunningly beautiful views from the Atlas Mountains. Thank you to the whole team at Charme D’Orient, we really enjoyed our stay!
Excellent 10.0
Cons: The owner Miss Laurence and her husband created a wonderful facility
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Just everything!
Cons: Nothing I would really complain about
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This property was brilliant in all respects. Laurence and her team make you feel welcome from the minute you step in the Riad. It feels more like a family that you are part of. A beautiful quiet place but so close to see everything in the Médina. We had dinner on the roof top two of the three nights and the meals there were better than any of the restaurants we visited in Morocco. If you have time take the day tour they organise to Atlas Mountains, you won’t be disappointed. We highly recommend the stay here and we hope to be able to visit again one year.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Laurence and Said made our stay in Marrakech absolutely perfect! The Riad is lovely, well decorated and with private hammam swimming pool and terrace with a suggestive view on the main mosque. Our room was big and cozy but the real surprise was the private bathroom, amazing! Perfect location. Few minutes walking from the market and the main square but incredibly quite One if the cleanest place we ever been. Private hammam and massage worth the price and both breakfast and dinner served there are delicious. They can easily help you organise your stay including excursions and helpful tips such as restaurants and place to visit. Don't bother to look for another place in Marrakech. We will definitely come back! What made the difference was the staff, friendly and always ready to help you with everything. We have been given a phone to communicate with the riad in case we needed anything and we really appreciate that.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff, the room, the breakfast, the pool, the garden All of it was brilliant. The hotel was a unique blend with a modern/traditional design. We were upgraded to a larger suite at no extra charge. All the staff from the front security, to the breakfast chef were extremely pleasant.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: very cozy place and relaxing. we loved the evening atmosphere in the garden with the live oud musician. was perfect! the staff was very welcoming and helpful; the service was very professional and superb.
Cons: the vegetarian tagine and royal couscous were not good and were tasteless. as we've tasted much better in other places. I'm sorry!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: An absolutely unbelievable hotel, the best I have ever stayed in. The staff were so warm and welcoming, the room was amazing, the building was stunning with lots of amazing foliage and birds singing all day… you must stay here if you go to Marrakech. It’s the perfect combo between a old Moroccan style with modern comforts
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything! The rooms, the pool, the food, the people - all excellent. It’s a gorgeous hotel. Fatima and Sumaya were particularly hospitable ☺️

Excellent 10.0
Pros: There is a lot of privacy, and the trees are amazing. the sap and everything!
Good 7.0
Pros: General atmosphere and pool
Cons: worn out tired and little dirty carpets and furnitures crowded breakfast
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Concierge was amazing! They help us plan all our activities with a great guide and personal driver around Marrakech
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The pool was great, although it was getting a bit crowded as the hotel filled up. The room was very good, but pretty standardized. The restaurant - at dinner - was pretty and the food was very good. The best thing was the employees, who were universally great: very helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. All in all, it was a very good property but a pretty standardized one - you didn't really feel like you were in a special, Marrakech place.
Cons: The clay tennis court was dismal - one of the worst and most unpredictable surfaces I have ever played (much worst than you expect from clay). The breakfast was mediocre at EUR 35/person - for example, the breakfast at La Mamounia blows it away for just EUR 6/person more.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Number one in marrakech ❤️❤️
Cons: Perfect
Excellent 10.0
On arrival, we were immediately received with a cup of tea. Since it was the beginning of the evening we immediately made use of the restaurant; delicious eaten (try the 'pastilla' if you are in Morocco!). Fantastic nice and small hotel! Ideal for couples who love luxury in a stone's throw from the city. Beautiful luxury rooms located in a nicer garden with design pool. In the new city of Marrakech, you can enjoy delicious food! We have already been 2 times in early November and it certainly was not the last time! Recommended! Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.
Excellent 10.0
This hotel deserves a lot of praise: attentive, genuinely friendly staff. Spacious, clean, well-designed rooms. Great adult pool and large enough for comfortable reading and relaxing. Spectacular greenery and resort layout. The gyms are also very competent for any workout. At night it is very romantic. The only disappointment was the food which we found rather plain and slightly expensive for what it was at $22 a main. We enjoyed eating out at restaurants in the city a lot more and only ate at the hotel when we too tired. Strongly recommend and would love to return. Nothing more I could ask for just continue giving the guest the great service that you provide.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: If you know what a boutique hotel is, then this is the right place for you, a cosy calm nice hotel with refreshing atmosphere and happy polite staff welling to give you the maximum enjoyment out of your stay, small number of guests and very comfortable atmosphere. You will be asked about your selection for the breakfast and you will enjoy it in a nice cosy spot outdoors. the room it self was large, well decorated, clean and tidy with Moroccan spirit and design , facilities are working fine and nothing was missed.
Cons: No free drinking water but I will not deduct any evaluation points for that, still satisfied with everything else : )..
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The name says it all it’s truly a secret garden. I wish I did not have to disclose the name as I am afraid next time we want to book it will be sold out;). What a treat Hivernage sacred garden and suites was. The feeling we got was living at a friends villa with only six rooms, small and cozy pool and garden we felt very tranquil and well rested. The staff was amazing!! Ayoub and Salah were getting out of their way to cater to all of our complicated asks;). Their recommendations for shopping and food were spot on! Great location if you want to party at Hivernage spots and yet come back and totally relax;)! Would definitely recommend this place and go there again myself!
Cons: Some small details could be fixed like curtains not closing completely because they were not attached to the rod properly, the water not draining fast enough. But these things are easily fixed and did not affect our enjoyment of the place;)!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My stay was amazing in this beautiful villa. I received a stunning suite plus an upgrade because it was my birthday the day before. Beds are very comfortable and the breakfast amazing. The staff will make sure that no request is left open. Special thanks to Ayoub that made my stay superb. Anybody can present a nice villa and room but what made my stay at the Hivernage unforgettable was the kindness and expertise from Ayoub! He had great tips for excursions, lead me to must see bars and restaurants and would make sure every entrance into the villa started with a warm welcome back.
Cons: i couldnt stay longer
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were very helpful indeed, nothing was too much trouble for Ayoub or any of the other staff and they helped plan our time including visiting a lovely Hammam and a camel ride. The location was nice, away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast (with fresh squeezed orange juice) everyday. We also enjoyed a couple of hours on the roof terrace resting our legs after lots of walking and relaxing in the afternoon sun.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great experience for very nice hotel in fancy area of Marrakesh! If you looking for a bit of relaxation from busy streets, Medina and want to escape on just chilling near the pool- thats your place. Staff was amazing, they helped us a lot with booking Desert experience for us, stored our luggage for these three days while we were on tour even though we havent stayed next night with them. We had breakfast packed for us since we were leaving very early for Merzouga. Absolutely amazing stay!
Cons: Just one minor thing - prices charged for having coffee at the hotel and two bottles of water that we took from room which i would assume should be complimentary (that is based on our experience from other hotels in Morocco) is way too high. I understand that there is not other place to go so it could be whatever cost but still have 15DMAD for 0.5l of water is way too much.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything was perfect

Pros: The hotel was clean. Staff was responsive and attentive. The place smelled great and the decor was fantastic.
Cons: The air conditioner in our room was not working effectively but I did not complain. (Abou Faris Building)The bathroom had a tub that is dated. I think this is only in specific buildings.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: This hotel is luxurious, the room was spacious clean and comfortable. Toilet and shower were spacious and luxurious. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was one of a kind, many varieties and delicious things were available. The hote has several swimming pools including one huge indoor. Large gem lounge was also available.
Cons: Noise can be heard from next room, walls need more insulation.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: This is a nice hotel in a good location. Nice pool area and conveniently located. Comfy beds and nice rooms.
Cons: I was very upset about how I was treated initially when I turned up with a Moroccan friend. He was treated appallingly as a second class citizen. He essentially wasn't allowed in the hotel. Also I had to request a room change as the first one was so noisy from a nearby nightby nightclub.

Mediocre 2.0
Cons: -Very rude reception stuff : When I arrived to the hotel to check-in, I found a customer who got locked out of his room due issues with the key, while he was complaining about the situation, the person at the reception didn't show any empathy and talked rudely to him. Two days later when I went to check-out they made me pay taxes for 2 people while I was the only person in the room. The person at the reception acknowledged that they made an error while checking me in, he refused to correct the invoice claiming he needs to talk with the manager and at that time he wasn't there and when I insisted, he was very rude. -The shower door wasn't closing properly leading to water getting out. -Towels were too used and even ripped

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We come to this hotels for years now and it doesn't deceive. Very good location, cute decoration, and very helpful staff. Thank you Hicham for making our trip pleasant
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good location for a winter visit to Marrakech. The staff was very nice, in particular in restaurant.
Cons: There was no proper parking area as described. I had to look for free plot in the street beside the hotel. We had promesses to use the fire place in our suite but unfortunately there was no commitment from the hotel to make it and to enjoy it ;especially for kids
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room we stayed was really nice and comfy. We feels like we were in riad. The staff was really helpful and we will stay at this hotel in the future inschaAllah
Cons: It would be perfect If you provide 3 in 1 nescafe or few bags of tea in the room.
Okay 4.0
Pros: the location was good.
Cons: The receptionist was very rood and unfriendly, it’s not good for money
Excellent 9.0
Pros: the staff was very helpful and friendly
Excellent 9.0
Pros: An occidental experience, but a great place near the airport. Great cleaning and helpful staff. We did a very late check-in and early check out and the experience was awesome.
Cons: Nothing.
Good 7.5
Pros: Beautiful Hotel. Most of the staff were very nice (all but one). The rooms were clean (we had two rooms). Breakfast was very good, served till 10.30 Mon to Fri and 11:00 Saturday and Sunday The airport shuttle waited for us when we arrived. Small but nice pool area.
Cons: No hair dryer in both rooms, no safety box in one and broken mini bar in other. The Wi Fi in room 309 was not working. In room 309 was noise from the cafe and the street and dog barking all night in room 314. No alcohol at the bar.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: We arrived on Friday 13th March and two days later the Government initiated a shut down of all restaurants, cafes and public gatherings. The hotel staff were exceptional and even though the restaurant was closed they continued to provide room service for the duration even though there were only three rooms occupied in the entire hotel.
Cons: In light of the circumstances described above It would not be appropriate to offer any negative comment. The hotel team were exceptional under the circumstances.
Okay 4.2
Cons: Hotel is terrible thay didn’t tell people thay have maintenance and very noisy no A/C
Good 6.7
Pros: Location
Cons: Old
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Renovations on going
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everyone at the reception was kind and helpful. The room was spacious with nice details like the fresh roses and very clean. We were lucky to have a view at the pool, at night everything was very quiet. Excellent breakfast, loved the many sweets the fresh made omelets and crepes as well the fresh fruit. Great location, right next to the hotel where our congress was held, 30min walk from the center or few minutes with taxi.
Cons: Didn't have time to try the hamam... Should definitely try it next time!
Okay 4.6
Pros: I woke up at night scratching and found bugs under the sheet.
Excellent 9.6
Cons: Very Nice clean hotel good location big rooms
Excellent 9.7
Great hotel, good location and wonderful pool area
Excellent 8.5
The location is great short stroll to the Menara mall and short drive to the square. The staff throughout the hotel were very polite, professional, friendly and helpful but the icing on the cake was Fatima. Nothing was too much for her any request any issue was dealt by her immediately. we had a great holiday and decided to go back in April unfortunately it was fully booked could not imagine staying anywhere else and holiday would be incomplete without Fatima. She is a big asset to the hotel. As the hotel was fully booked for the whole month of April we have postponed our visit to September. Looking forward to another great break at the Grand Mogador Menara.
