Location is good and most staff is pleasant Manager very rude and pool is practically on the atreet
i only stayed one night on a long haul stop over was not there long enough
The location is wonderful with easy access to the beaches and BH, freeways. The only parking is valet which is now the norm in LA. The staff was exceedingly polite and helpful. I stayed at this hotel about two years ago. There seems to be a climate control issue in the room. I am pretty sure I stayed in the same room during both trips and don't know if it is an issue on other floors.
I reserved a room with two beds. When I checked in they said they didn't have any rooms available with two beds. They assigned us a room with a king size bed. I was very disappointed, my adult pregnant daughter was with me and I should have received what I reserved.
Style decor... very Hollywood Chic Loved the spa and wet rooms Checking out and valet was a long wait
Nice location Well furnished and decorated. Pumbling issues NO HOT WATER. I was unable to take a warm shower before bed. In room movie system also had issues. Hotel and room look nice but they have some underlying infrastructure issues. Room was also noisy. Lots of road noise even on the 9th floor. no self parking available . Valet parking $40 for one night.
Great food at its restaurant.
nice place, good view, quiet, good area for many things. none
Perfect Hideaway with a view in the midle of Beverly Hills with great views.
Excelente hotel.
The hotel is in a nice area and is in walking distance to Rodeo Drive. It has amazing views from the bar/breakfast room, you can just see the Hollywood sign in the distance. There is free internet access and complimentary coffee in the bar all day. Didn't rate the breakfast, the only hot food was scrambled egg whites?! Certainly didn't expect an English breakfast but thought it would have been nice to have had bacon, eggs and pancakes with maple syrup. We had breakfast in the hotel the first morning and then went out to have a lovely USA breakfast the following mornings.
Location is great, bar and pool area were convenient. Rooms were small, and smelled musty. Was wondering if I'd gotten a smoking room by mistake. I expect a higher quality from the Crowne Plaza brand...
I liked how it looked online... When we got to the "spacious" room we could barely roll our luggage in it was so small. We began to shower and the water was out (pipe burst) They wouldn't move us rooms so we had to wait 5 hours for the water to come on to shower after a 6 hour flight. Then the lights/power went out in our room at 7pm and wasn't fixed until 9:30pm... What did they do for us? A free drink at the bar... Gee thanks.
Wireless internet service is useless.
the hotel is old and need renovation, the hot water stoped for more than two hours
Very enjoyable stay.
The hotel was clean but soooo old it really needs renovation and fortunately enough we didn't have to use the AC as it had a very annoying sound
Was not aware of the construction going on when hotel was booked so it was over priced. Will not stay there again and may be more leery of choosing Ctowne Plaza Hotels.
The hotel was convenient budget wise. The staff weren't very friendly and didn't help much especially when not using the hotel services i.e. hotel car, tours..etc. The best thing was that the bus stop was close to the venue. They need to do a better job in house keeping too.
The hotel staff was excelent, specially the general manager, very concern about his guests confort and about the guests could be doing better in the city. He recommended great places and restourants in the city! They had computers for the guests without one to access the internet. Charges for the parking.
location noisy, poor service
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The place is a dump! Filthy dirty and old. I've seen $30 per night motels in better shape. The hotel is undergoing some construction and it was not mentioned in it description. I will NEVER stay at a Crowne Plaza again.
good location needs refurbihing ,rooms look very old
Newly renovated, they did a very nice job
Good location close to Venice and Santa Monica. Easy to get anywhere in LA from here. Rooms are clean and nice. Stingy with the towels. You must give them the dirty towels before they give you the new ones. You only get the same sizes you gave back. It was pulling teeth to get 3 large towels for 2 people.
hotel staff at reception were nice and helpfull. the carpets were not clean and need renovation. bad smell of may be carpet cleaner. not enough parking places. wireless Wi Fi was not working most of the time, had to use cord connection
the room was clean and adequate. The bath room was small but everything worked well and was clean. the staff was great and helpful. inconvenient elevator positioning
Had no problems from beinging to end had wonderfully fullied time thanks to angel an the gentemans name at late. Night who checked me in he was also very nice valet was nice also great. Property
I had a hard time contacting anyone before I got there. Three times I called. Never got as call back. I needed directions. Too late I passed up the exit. After I left, I noticed a bag missing. I called to see if I had left i there. No call back that day. I went back the next day and called before I got there. It rand a lot before some picked up.
Large comfortable room, good continental breakfast, convenient for Los Angeles Airport. The area around the hotel appeared a little run down / industrial.
The staff were uniformly polite and helpful from the moment we arrived. We checked in early as we had tickets to a show taping and wanted to them to know we'd be back later and while I was signing in, a room opened up that was away from the street and the gentleman got us settled right away. The room was exactly as described online and we were very pleased with it. It really didn't bother us (two women) but the toiled is situated such that you have to almost sit sideways or smash your kneecaps on the sink vanity - I would have had it face the wall instead to offer more room.
Helpful desk staff Cold breakfast served on plastic plates, lack of security (one of the customer lost the bag while talking to the receptionnist!), old design.
Free valet parking and breakfast; clean room and bathroom Dated room, very small bathroom
Friendly staff small bathroom must valet park Breakfast was sub par
very clean small space for breakfast
Nice clean room with adequate facilities and fairly close to public transport. Not enough seating in breakfast area.
The room was neat but not worth the money Location
The location was great for our stay. Liked the breakfast with a variety of hot and cold choices. Décor is unique. Room was small. With two queen beds there was not room for a chair. This wasn't that important as we didn't spend much time in the room
The location was very convenient to the Beverley Hills etc. area and shopping. Price was reasonable as well. Rooms are very small, particularly the rooms with two beds. There is some road noise for those facing the street.
friendliness of the staff, cleaniness of the room, very accomodating Street side was very noisy and they moved us to the back side the 2nd night
Rooms, and location in Beverly Hills The area of the swiming pool, and the tiny pool
Location. Breakfast could have been a little bit more varied. Bacon or ham more than once a week. Some fresh fruit.
Good room, friendly staff and comvenient location
Good location and efficient/friendly staff.Nice hotel
good service good location no complains
Staff was very helpful and amazing. Free breakfast was better than most budget hotels. Rooms are tiny, couldn't exit one side of the queen bed because it's against the wall.
I was satisfied except for the fact that at the end I asked for a receipt but it was not given to me saying that i did not need it because I had reserved it with Booking.com. The person who said this, therefore, was clearly not competent. See above. Internet connection was slow (less than 500kbps). The rest was pretty good.
Friendly and clean and about as inexpensive as u can find in this part of LA. No discounts for longer stays
Comfortable bed, Bathroom and shower were nice and clean. Convenient location Wifi kept cutting out. Very slow
not far from venice beach , good bus connection, good brazilien food around the corner weak shower, no fresh towels on one day
This motel is old and run down. There was a 1/4 inch gap around the door, the hair dryer looked like an electrical disaster waiting to happen with cords spliced together with electrical tape that was coming off (did not use for fear of eletricutonL ) it took 15 minutes or so to get hot water, once it got hot it was scalding. The parking available is not enough for guests.
I like the fact that nobody bothers you and they mind they're own business I actually like everything
the location was great, the beds were really good, the television, fridger, coffee was good. easy to park and had parking, good location to get to Culver City or LAX faster You had to warm up the shower a little longer than usual. They need a circulator pump on their water heater(s)
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Location's good if you're looking to be in the Palms/Culver area, easy to LAX and Venice. WiFi speed pretty decent. Room smelled like cat piss, damage to basically every surface, shower barely had pressure and took minutes to get lukewarm, paper-thin walls, only had one thin sheet no blanket.
Good price, great location, friendly staff. Wifi was very slow, room could use some updating.
The room was fairly clean but in a state of disrepair. Wallpaper was peeling off and everything looked like it did in the 70's or early 80's. If all you want is a bed then this is for you. Also in a suspect part of town. Very run down and shops boarded.
